So I’ve been here twice. My first time I got a garbage plate and there were fall leaves in my food! The cook said it was just basil. But nope they were yellow and red. The second time I went for breakfast and I got pancakes. There were branches and grass in my food! I can’t even make this up. Sometimes restaurants mess up it happens I’ve worked at a few stuff happens! But twice come on now. Plus the waitresses are miserable.
What a unexpected Jem.Great bartender good food and drinks and down to earth patrons. Hit the jukebox for some tunes and the place comes alive. Our 1st time there is just the beginning. Youll be missing out if you dont give My Kinda Place a shot!
I hate to give 1 star wish I could give minus stars it would be -5 we went there today for breakfast should have walked out as soon as we were seated we werent greeted with a smile just a miserable face my booth had a huge tear in it with stuffing coming out had to sit against wall not to sit on it (could at least put duck tape on it).Then there was a gross smell like bo. Now for food the worst my husbands home fries had hard potatoes with raw green peppers and onions on top who does that!I got a breakfast burrito it had hard potatoes in it with raw green peppers and onions had ham in it but couldnt tell they had them cut into such little pieces even the water was gross .By Far The WORST food ever had!!!!
Had breakfast here on Easter and my fiance and I were very pleased. Such a lively atomosphere with great servers who are very friendly. Prices are fair with great food and coffee! I wish I remembered our waitress name, it was a young girl with a great smile and she was really sweet! Definitely recommend this place for great food and service.

My favorite place to have breakfast! The people there are always nice. I have gone here for a couple years now and have never been disappointed. My little family and I try to make it out once a week. My favorites are their stuffed pancakes and their omelettes. I suggest it to any who asks me where they should go out to breakfast :)
This is our favorite place to go to breakfast. The prices are amazing, and the food is delicious, and it is not too far from our house. We go there just about every other weekend and it has been that way for about 3 years of that explains the overall greatness of the diner. I think we have even met up with family a few times there to show them...
Had Eggs Benedict perfect. Waitress was attentive and fast with good coffee. All is Great.

Food was bland. Waitresses were miserable, and what diner closes at 2PM on a Thursday? I paid 9$ for a tiny cup of soup and a piece of microwaved chicken. GROSS
All of the food that Ive had there has been hot (temperature) and delicious. My favorite is the eggs Benedict. Very friendly staff. Very clean. Prices very reasonable. Cash only.
We had a large group (12) on a Sunday morning with a reservation. Donna was a great server. Our food came out all together and was delicious
DO NOT GO HERE I have eaten here only 2 times and both times I have had nasty things in my food the first time I had a leaf in my garbage plate The second time I had a piece of branch in my pancake and also the waitresses are extremely rude over the phone and when you are there they seem miserable terrible place

Food was alright, bathroom was nasty and they only take cash but there is a atm by the cash register no doubt owned by the owner so the cost of your meal then $2.50 atm fee the $3.00 from your bank so the $5.50 plus your meal makes it...not worth it.

2021-09-26Staff was very nice waitress was kind courteous and she was very time sensitive. The portions were plentiful. I recommend this place. I saw the other reviews and they werent good. I decided to go anyways very glad that I did. Have to remember you cant please everyone.

2021-12-08We love going here. We meet on Wednesday so the boys can get together they are both handicapped and in wheelchairs, they are handicap accessible, but when we went today someone was parked right in front of the handicap ramp and it made it hard to get the boys out. This isnt the first time thats happened, its kinda disappointing.

2021-07-10If I could give zero stars, I would. Went here for dinner - we ordered very basic things and we waited for 45 minutes to get our food. The clam chowder tastes as though it comes from a can and the the food had very little taste. When we complained, we were apologized to by the owner but no concession was made - only the excuse that they had many to go orders. Being there so long we were people watching and only saw about 4 to go orders go out the door. There was a very unpleasant odor. We also ordered milkshakes which were mostly milk and only a half full cup. We will never return and I caution others from making the same mistake.Edited to respond to the owners response - clearly they dont think anyone who doesnt rave about the restaurant is right busy is not what I would have used to describe the restaurant at all. Try if you will but just heed the warning that it wont be anything to write home about

2021-07-23We are always looking for a decent fish fry at a reasonable price close to home. Id give more stars but our take-out orders have been wrong a couple times. Scallop Special had little bay Scallops while Seafood plater had the bigger Scallops. We got fries instead of mashed potatoes. Cant get baked potatoes with early dinners, we like to eat around 4pm. Also the garage plate needs more sauce. Who ever is cooking afternoons needs to read the ticket orders.

2021-10-30We had two great meals and was a great diner experience. One of the few places weve been able to get in and out for just under $20. Well worth it!

2021-02-25Extremely friendly staff, Great food. They make their own hamburger daily and is the best burger Ive had in quite some time. Good portions and just all around great experience. Will definitely make this a go to place!
