We have been going here for four years. Tonight we had pastrami and half pound hamburger. Pleasant staff, fair prices, comfort foods, family friendly.outside and inside dining.bar as well. Everything is excellent.
My place is a great place for a nice cold beer and some really good food I had to fry chicken man it was damn the best fried chicken I swear to God that I ever had wow it was just as good as any other fried Chicken that Ive ever had the best check this place out man food is fantastic.
Amazing food, always consistent in dishes, clean, great atmosphere, love the sandwiches, greatly brewed tea (no sugar) and salads. Wish I had pix but next time. (Was typo, sorry, cell autocorrect)

Bruce was a very knowledgeable and respectful bartender but his social life gets in the way. And doesnt pay attention to customers. 1 beer and 2 shots with dinner and cut off ..bad brucey

Great pub fare with a local hangout/ neighborhood vibe.Ive been coming here off and on for years and its never a disappointment.Wide range of bar style food; if Im craving American cuisine there is always something available to hit the spot.Staff is great, service is quick but not rushed. Lots to watch on a number of TVs.Great for no-fuss girls nights, casual dates or even a dinner alone after a rough day at work to skip the dishes. 10/10 would recommend.
While the service was fast and friendly,the food was mediocre. My wife ordered the hamburger platter that comes with fries. The burger was thin and bland. Asked for lettuce for the burger and got shredded lettuce and was charged 15 cents for it. Seriously? Since when dont burgers come with lettuce and tomato? The shoe string fries that came with the burger were mostly Inedible.Undercooked and low quality. They should be steak fries. I ordered a Turkey club sandwich and onion rings. While the onion rings were very good,it was a small portion for the price and the sandwich was good but skimpy on the meat. Too expensive for the portions you get.
Always have a good time and good food when I go. Only complaint is feel my nachos sit under the heat lamp a little to long and sit before coming out. Other than that been coming here for over 20 years now and always enjoy my food. The patio addition is amazing.
Stopped for lunch after a long bike ride. Service was quick and friendly. Sat at tables by the outside bar and it was a gorgeous day and there were plenty of choices for being in or out if the sun. Got drinks super quick from a really friendly barmaid/waitress. Food was delivered as ordered and in reasonable time. We each had sandwiches, one hot and one cold, and they were tasty and well portioned. Overall, a great experience on an early Sat afternoon in late July. Definitely check them out for casual fare and good drinks.
I always like going here Very casual. Sitting outside, fireplace on, good burgers and more. Something for everyone. Its great to be relaxing and watching a football or baseball game on the deck. Soups are great. I had the cream of mushroom soup, it was very good. Prices are as good as it gets in the area. Very affordable.
We have been regular customers of this establishment since moving to the region 2 years ago and we rarely have a bad experience whether dining in or for take out. Food is always good, the staff friendly and good service. On the rare occasions there has been an issue (once take out order was wrong, once wrong item included on bill), we not only had it corrected immediately but we received either a comp or a discount for the next meal, as they know we will return. Great place for casual dining fare
I just moved to new york a few months ago and we asked people where the best places to eat were. So many people recommended My Place. Ive been here twice and it sucked equally both times. Im not sure what the hype is.. The food is just not good. Very bland. 1/10 do NOT reccomend.
Waitress was above and beyond excellent Cheyenne and this is coming from someone who owed a family restaurant. While food always good the club was a huge disappointment. For a three decker it was as small if not smaller then a regular sandwich. Chicken salad was not salad it was chunks of chicken
We ordered take on Friday 7.2.21. Food was ok. Nothing great, but typical pub food. Nothing great, nothing terrible. Our order was correct, which is always plus. And, it was on time like she said.Overall it was fine. Hot turkey sandwich was good, gravy was good. Turkey club was fine, Pulled Pork nachos was actually real tasty.
First place that I ate when I got to new York and was absolutely delicious. I plan on going again.

Went to My Place this past Saturday and waited for 45 minutes after I asked for a menu to get one. Server did not come back to take our order. Ended up leaving empty handed after an hour.I cant believe the reviews are this high with the staff they currently employ.0/10 would not recommend. Went to Samsons down the road and had prompt service.
Food was great as always! Service was fantastic! But for the love of God please, please put bottles of ketchup and salt and pepper back on the tables! There is nothing worse than opening numerous packets of ketchup for your French fries, by the time theyre all open the fries are cold!
Long time customer at My Place & Co. Menu is typical sports bar food, but attention to detail and quality of ingredients takes it up a notch!Beer selection is pretty nice with a good spread of local craft brews, including my favorite, Fort Orange IPA.Staff are friendly and attentive. Nice outdoor seating for those that are still COVID conscious.Highly recommended!
Have been to my place a decent amount. The bar staff inside at night is always fabulous. Today I took my mom here for lunch and for a place that claims they have the best patio in Shodack they need to hire some better staff outside. We were told to pick whatever table we wanted and after sitting at the table for about 10-15 mins without any attention my mom caught the waitresses eye and just mouthed can we get menus?. She proceeded to check all her other tables first rather than realize she had forgotten about us. A larger group then came in and we decided to give them the table we were at because it was bigger and it was just the two of us. The waitress met us at the new table with menus and asked what we wanted to drink, no apology. We got our waters fairly quick considering the wait for menus. We looked over the menus for a few minutes, decided what we wanted, closed them and started chatting. The waitress passed by countless times and helping everyone around us. While she did have a hand full of tables there was 3 other girls working as well. This wasnt that it was extremely busy/under staffed. 20 more minutes went by. Before we knew it she was taking the food order of the large group that had come 15 minutes after us we had nicely swapped tables with. So we got up and left very annoyed, hungry, and confused as to why we were treated so poorly. No one said a word as we left. The food is mediocre at best anyway. From now on Id much rather support Samsons right down the road. 35 mins is far too long especially if other tables that arrived after you get served first.
Went there this evening with family and we were all very pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was nice, it smelled good in the restaurant, and the burgers were fantastic. This was my first time there, and it will not be my last.
4.5 Nice friendly and fast. Dry white wine in a plastic glass if youre outside! But its the best plastic! Could have more vegetarian and veggies for me and better wine, but Im told Im fussy.
Ordered a 1/2 pound deluxe burger and some other items for pickup. Was told it would be a 15 minute wait. Took 45 minutes for them to prepare the food. Opened the box back at work and it was just a plain burger with nothing on it. In addition to that, it was rare and not medium as requested. First and last time Ill be ordering from here.
Butch is an awesome guy, just had to start off with that! He has the most warming welcome when you come in and sit at the bar, great convo if you can catch him for one (i mean he is working). Overall customer service is great, food is satisfying and drinks the same. Nice place for an evening kick back.

The back patio and open air bar are the best qualities of this place... Beautiful setting. Had to try the wings since they are raved about in reviews. Crispy and juicy, although the mango habanero sauce was a little bland for my liking. Sweet potato fries were also nice and crisp. Overall, service and atmosphere were the highlights and nice enough to make me want to return to try more food options.

As a few of the reviews state , the old miserable blonde at the bar is just that. My 7 month pregnant girlfriend ordered takeout and walked up to the takeout side where nobody else was standing and was told to move because there were other tickets in front of hers. Ive been here on a few different occasions and felt very unwelcome by both the staff and the patrons myself. If you arent a local or friend of the staff directly , dont even bother pulling in the parking lot.This is why people eat at corporate run businesses instead of places like these.

The food was great pub food, they had a pretty good variety and the staff was amazing. The server wore a beautiful smile today and was right on at taking care of our needs. They had a nice bar but didnt get the opportunity to have a drink and the bartender was very friendly to her guest. Seems like a place with regulars and who wouldnt return, great food, great staff and friendly environment. I would definitely recommend, oh and they had a very nice outdoor seating place that was full for the lunch hour.

Such good food, I have ordered numerous different items from here and have yet to be disappointed! My favorites so far are their veggie burger and Cajun fries!! Even their online pick up is great, Ive gone here to pick up lunch and my fries are still crispy and not gross and soggy like some places.Dont think about it just get it!
Prompt service at the bar. At my request, bartender put the golf on a TV just for me!!! Great wings, fun, easygoing atmosphere and all the food being served look tasty. Ill be back!
Shame on my place for cancelling a fundraiser for a local candidate who wanted to bring business to their establishment. Frankly their prices have skyrocketed, the food is terrible, service is out of touch and now given recent circumstances my family, nor I will EVER visit again and will make sure the community is aware of this favoritism behavior by a local restaurant
Visited this place on Friday night. Was told by a very apologetic waitress that we each had to order full meals if we wanted an alcoholic beverage. We were already seated at a table. Appetizers were received promptly. We waited 40 minutes for our meals. The food is average for bar food. An observation from that night was the manager scolded a guest for not adhering a well fitted surgical mask before standing up from the table as he (The manager) had a loosely tied red bandanna as he was hovering over occupied tables.
Went to celebrate a promotion for a friend and they were having Tuesday night trivia. Trivia was fun and the people were great. Definitely recommend.
I have been here once and had the experience of take out once and both times were horrible! The eat-in experience was a 2-hour wait time be seated and then it was a half hour to even receive a menu and get a drink order taken, with another 15 minutes before a food order was taken. Overall after being seated but was over an hour before we saw poorly prepared overpriced food.The takeout experience was just as bad. Over a two hour wait and one meal missing when it arrived at home. When dealing with staff and owner, although we were frustrated the management team was downright rude and obstinate.They lie in their responses online as to the details of experiences so they are not only losing the business of one couple moving out of state but of two other families who Do Live Locally and will continue to relay our experiences to all of our friends.Do not tell me to read what you responded to my daughter maybe you should listen to your customers’s complaints about your business practices.
Pretty nice place. Ive never had a bad meal here. The patio section is very nice. Bathrooms always clean. Open late which is just so convenient. The only issue Ive ever had was bad service at the patio bar last night. But other than her, all the servers have been pretty good with service. I really love this place and totally recommend it.
My husband and I ordered burgers from here all the time. Well not any more. I ordered 2 bacon cheddar cheese deluxe burgers the other day both with NO tomato because my husband is allergic to them and they both had them on them. Never got the Coleslaw like we should have, fries not cooked and then the paper from either the burger or the cheese was still on one of the burgers. Not happy. We use to love this place but we will never order from here again.I ordered from here last night to see if everything was better then before and it was great. Food was perfect service was amazing. George the owner was very helpful getting everything that I needed. He was very polite and apologetic about what had happened. I couldnt have asked for more. This place was amazing just had a little hiccup. All is good now. Thanks again George.
This was the first time going here with hubby. We found the beer selection small, but the choices were varied and adequate. The menu consisted of comfort food that was well prepared.My Place is comfortable with a local clientele. We had a great time and will definitely return!
Excellent service, very consistent good tasting food. A little pricey for mostly bulk generic restaurant frozen food. Interior is mostly bar with a small dining section, good for dining parties 4 to 6 in size. Family friendly diverse menu. Cleanliness is excellent. A casual family favorite dining spot for us. We enjoy the spacious outdoor patio and bar, its beautiful and a great way to enjoy a summer evening. They offer dine-in and takeout.

Nice neighborhood bar/restaurant. Food was great. We had burgers and ribs. The fries were terrific, nice and crispy right out of the fryer and not at all greasy. Great wait staff. And $2 Genesse drafts were the icing on the cake!
Good to see they are still serving the same amazing food for the past 20 years, since back when it was Chuck’s. If you haven’t been before, just follow these instructions and thank me later: medium wings with side of lazer sauce, chicken fingers with extra honey mustard (the sauce is crack), steak fries. Chicken Caesar wrap is also money.

Honestly, the great staff is something we cherish as much as the delicious and generously portioned food. We eat there about 2 times a week, driving from Chatham, NY to this restaurant. The mixed drinks, when we occasion to have them, are portioned generously with the good stuff. Ive never remarked to myself this is weak when ordering one of their Margaritas. I bring my own Jalapenos and Habernaro peppers often and when I ask if they can incorporate them into my Margaritas, they happily do so. Very accommodating. They have and wide selection of items on their menus, daily specials and great soups too.
They’ve done an excellent job of adapting to the new normal. It’s always been a clean place with great food but now feels safe considering the current requirements for dining.
Always good food, never have to wait too long to get it. Takeout is quick and easy. The staff are always friendly and attentive. Great business.
Poor service. Absolutely rude & frustrating. Wont pre-order food so working people can stop by on lunch hour, even with a CC number, but you can order all the food you want for pickup. Go figure. Manager was abrasive and rude about it... Pretty much told us they dont need our business. Perfect. Plenty of other good places around to eat at. Happy to let everyone here at work know how he feels...
Went here for lunch on the outdoor patio, did not go inside the restaurant. My server was friendly and attentive, and the salad I ordered was fresh. The patio looked new, was well maintained with retaining walls, flowers, fence, and covered to provide shade. Would recommend to others, and will return!

One of my favorite places to go to as the staff is great and the prices are very reasonable. The patio is perfectly set up with the bar and dining areas. Football on Sundays is always great there as they have the Sunday ticket and all the televisions are labelled with which game is on them.

Always good cheap eats and cold beer. Bruce the bartender always makes me feel welcome. Plus dollar burgers all day at the bar on Mondays, cant beat that. Ive recently been back to My Place since reopening during the Covid crisis and Im I have mixed emotions, the service and food are still good, however the attention to healthy and safe practices isnt fully being observed, Kaye the bartender reused guests glasses instead of supplying them with clean ones and when using the ice snoop it touched the rim of the glass. Im not being a Karen Im just pointing out how unsafe and careless actions can hurt others or help put us back into quarantine. I still love Kaye and her service, but lets all be safe.

This was my 3rd trip back to this wonderful, mostly local, restaurant and bar. The wings are the best thing on the menu, and when it warms up the outdoor seating and bar (with plenty of good beer selection) cant be beat. Whether youre with family, a couple, or with your biker friends, there is a place for you at My Place.
Ordered one takeout sandwich from grill; 50 minute wait. Arrived right on time to pick up. Went to the bar and was ignored, asked a waitress where to go to get my take out and was told to stand at the bar. Went back to the bar and again was ignored. Bartender looked right at me several times then immediately asked a man who just walked in the door if he could help him! Don’t want my business?? Ok, I left and took my business elsewhere!
Fast order to pickup during COVID. Clean and well prepared for a pandemic takeout. We got the wings with Franks and Butter, Crispy and they were amazing. However, the burger was overly salty, almost like different bites had more sodium then others. They use Styrofoam so plan on eating soggy fries. Mac salad was a good edition.

We have visited multiple times with.good experiences. The food is good but not spectacular, the environment is reasonable, but outdoor seating enhances the experience-particularly on live music nights. Only subpar food experience was with a take out order.
Five stars just for the GREAT service from super cool Andria! She made this visit quite enjoyable. She knows the menu so well she can tell you which salad gets what lettuce mix. Impressive! She was funny yet professional. The food was phenomenal.
Never could understand the high marks for this place. Nothing here is fresh, all frozen sysco food. The place could use a good cleaning too. My guess is the attraction is cheap beer and $1 burgers on Monday.
Excellent place for a drink, pub food, sports games, pool & gambling. Both families & singles can enjoy eating here. Outdoor porch area & bar very comfortable. Great daily specials. Trivia Tuesdays. Dollar burgers at the bar on Mondays - perfect for football season. We always loved the My Place in Delmar, so glad we got to visit the one on Route 20 finally. Two thumbs up!👍👍
Generic frozen food.... over cooked frozen burger , frozen string cut fries and seafood chowder made with canned potatoes and imitation crab in a salty canned soup base... gross. Food served on plastic - ware. However the bar patrons seemed to be having fun. Not a place to dine more a place to drink apparently.
We were there for an 80th birthday party. We were on the patio and it was wonderful. They also put on a very nice and delicious buffet. The atmosphere is just fun and casual. We had a great time and left there full.
We had a party of 15-20 people two nights in a row and the wait staff was very accommodating. I had a long island iced tea and mango habanero wings. The iced tea was the prefect balance of strength and tastiness. The wings were amazing, sweet forward with a spicy kick, the habanero was not over powering.
I would write the very same thing I wrote abt Lisa G. Restaurant in lake placid and the burger I ate there but that would be redundant. I tried the black and bleu burger with fries and coleslaw, the flavors in the burger were an unending well of delicious flavor, each bite I felt like I salivated to no end as I bit into one of the most delicious burgers I have ever eaten. Highly recommend.

You always know what youre getting at My Place. Just like their sign says, its good food fast. And most importantly its consistently good. Ive been there dozens of times and have never left disappointed. This working mans bar and eatery is very down to earth. Sometimes the music can be a bit loud and the clientele a bit rough around the edges. But you go there to eat and have a few drinks, not take in the scenery, right?I wish the dining room area was more closed off from the bar, especially when I take my kids there. And it would be nice if they had a vegetable of the day on the menu. Most of the meals are protein and starch. The only vegetables are coleslaw, salad, or ketchup.If youre considering going to a fast food restaurant or some other chain, do yourself a favor and go to My Place instead. The food is considerably better and you get plenty of it, for a comparable price. Plus they have beer! Any place that serves beer is worth checking out!

Payed $70 to get my food late, and to not even get one of my meals. Called the owner and I was very frustrated, he swore at me and hung up. I called back to apologize for my attitude and to work it out. He continued to give me attitude and hung up again. I’m not surprised there were 3 call outs with a boss like that. Terrible management.
For a place to get a quick tasty lunch with a nice patio dining area and wonderful cheerful staff this is a great place to stop. Not fancy or fussy but food great our waitress was attentive and nice. The food was very good and the prices even better.

Food may be good. But service and politeness is not there. Food carriers .drink servers and staff are very rude and no sense of customer service they need to remember clients are the ones who provide yours pay check....as a essential traveler worker I will never recommend this place very rude staff........
Awful place, awful service. Food was horrible, service was worse. The blond bartender seemed bothered she had to serve anyone who was not local. Was in town for a wedding and had few local options. Ended up getting an Uber out to the Troy area. Much less Mossy Oak / Nascar attire among the patrons.
I frequently get take out, which was great at first, but has gradually gone downhill. Lately, food has been soggy and cold. Today my grilled chicken wasnt cooked completely (it was pink inside). They cut it before they put it on your salad, so it had to have been noticed. The cook clearly just did not care. I dont think Ill be back.
Bruce and the crew are good people. Good food and you can’t beat the prices. The phone girls need a lil work. But good overall service. I eat hear a lot. Great kitchen hours pre covid.

Ive been dragged here a half dozen times by friends and my gf. The ambiance and decor have come along way theyve done a nice job with the remodel and outside is great, however the food is still, meh. Its not terrible, but its also not anything youd come back for. Drinks were good though.
I have tried eating here twice, had to wait 2 hours once for eating in and 2 hours last night for takeout. Both times the food was mediocre when we finally got it. My daughter complained to the owner because they didn’t even give her meal and didn’t give the money back. The owner just gave her attitude. I would not recommend My Place to anyone. #bad service #mediocre food
I usually go to the one in Delmar, but since Ive moved to East Greenbush it wasnt very practical to go all that way. I hate to say this, but I actually felt like the food was waaay better at this one and the menu seemed to be much broader. This was my brother-in-laws first experience and he loved it! Great food and service!

Good little place. The patio is the best feature there. Reasonably priced for food and drinks. The only thing I would recommend is that there be access to the restrooms from the patio section instead of having to go all the way around the building on the outside.

Rude staff, and the manager is no better, could hear him yelling in the background. They got my order wrong as usual, but this time I got the worse attitude and none of my food was correct. 40$ wasted as no one ate do to the order being incorrect and I was told it would be 30 more minutes just to get the food they forgot.. after waiting 20 mins prior to that.. Absolutely would not recommend this place.
Food, service outside was great! The wait staff certainly has their act together, and our lunches were awesome. Well be back!!!

If you’re an out-of-towner, steer very clear from this bar. I’ve never been made to feel so unwelcome from theIr old blonde bartender. We went there for pre-wedding drinks and stopped in for a short while. We didn’t do anything to warrant treatment like that. Bad service! Sad.

I ordered a clam platter it was mostly French fries and I would say 15 pieces of burnt breaded clams My husband got a scallop platter which had only 7 pieces of breaded scallops which was hard the food was nasty that place should be shut down for the price that you pay for food wasnt worth it never again.
My pickup food was prepared incorrectly, drove all the way home before noticing. They did make it right by making a new one but it was the frustration and inconvenience of having to drive there and back. The perosn taking my order over the phone ever repeated my order back to me correctly, yet it was incorrect when I recieved it. Just a bit of a disappointment especially since I live 20 minutes away.
Several times we have ordered for pickup. Again, cold food, not properly cooked bacon for a BLT. Order was missing items..
Regular customer and usually good service. Not tonight. Phoned in order with a 35 minute pickup. Ended up waiting an hour and got home with cold food.

Townie feel, with consistently quality food. Draft beer selection that scales the gambit from coors to haufbrau, and quality ipas in between. Service is on par as well

Friendly, local crowd, good BBQ and traditional favorites, plus a few interesting surprises and weekly specials, decent beer selection, lots of TVs for sports, even a pool table! GREAT patio during outdoor season.

Slowest place on earth!!!waited over an hour for a cheeseburger waitress. Put a glass in the ice troth for every customer !! No mask or gloves on. Took my water glass to the water station after I drank from the glass!!!

2022-03-05My wife and I love stopping here. Nothing fancy, simply prepared pub-style food, burgers sandwiches, salads, fried foods, etc., yet aways made and served with care, fresh ingredients, and a smile. Nice beer selection, including some local/regional craft beers. Always a good time.

2022-01-31I ordered a steak sandwich tonight with onions and American cheese. I am super disappointed! Not only did they FORGET the CHEESE & ONIONS, my steak sandwich was just a steak on top of a roll. They didnt even take the time to slice it. Im sure I was charged for the additions as shown in copy of order detail.

2022-05-24I had some buffalo wings which were crispy but had way too much sauce which countered the crispy wings. I also had a bleu cheese burger and fries. The fries were crispy and tasted better than most, and the burger was awesome and just about as good as I have ever had. The only issue was the server chick, who was nice, kept passing me over for other tables with more people and I waited a long time to get refills or a check. Still a good place.

Also, the buffalo parmesan wings were spectacular. Plump and cooked to perfection. I was a little shocked by the fish but when I tasted it, it was awesome.

2022-05-29We live close by and this is the only place we go to on a regular basis. Some menu items have changed due to COVID but they try their best and I’m rarely disappointed. The outside bar and patio is great. Prices are reasonable. You won’t find Nine Pin cheaper anywhere else.

2022-05-08Wont order take out again This!This is our usual go to spot love this place... for mothers day I wanted to have my usual meal so rather then going to sit down to eat we ordered out... what a mistake! Food was soggy if cooked qt all? Not Really sure...the French fries were gross really soggy... sweet potatoes didnt seem to be fully cooked.. my turkey triple decker club was not.... I got a plain turkey sandwich on bread was awful.I will never order take out again. Really disappointed because this is one of or favorite places to sit down with my husband and kids gor a quick tasty meal... wont be doing take out from there anytime soon!
