I’ve been getting my haircut by Kristyn at Namia for years. She’s done several updos including the photos attached for my wedding. Not only do they look fantastic, but they hold into the next day even through harsh heat and humidity. I never leave with anything but the absolute best, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair. If you’re looking for a new salon, this is the place to go! Once you try the Aveda products they carry, you’ll be hooked for life!
Have you ever had a disasterous hair experience? If so, you know that it can affect everything each time you look in the mirror. I had one about 3 years ago and Aiman fixed it. I will never go to anyone else for color, cut, highlights etc. Her cuts are amazing and her focus is to get your hair in optimal, healthy condition. I always follow her recommendations.
Just had my first salon experience respecting the regulations set forth during Covid-19. Aiman goes above and beyond. She not only is magic with her skill, but provided a professional, clean and responsible experience. Thank you Namia Salon!

I LOVE this salon and I have been to a lot of them. However, once I found it that was it for me. Aiman is an artist with hair. She is passionate and super knowledgeable which makes all the difference to healthy looking beautiful hair. I go to NAMIA Salon for hair color, haircut and as of lately waxing as well. Every service is done to perfection and I leave from the place feeling beautiful. Aiman is also a beautiful person inside and out. She always has a smile and treats people with the highest respect possible. Her team also does her justice. The girls who work there are passionate and very good hairstylists. Anywhere I go and for how long I stay, I ALWAYS come back to my favorite salon so that Aiman can take care of my hair. I dont allow anyone else. I recommend this place 100%...go to this salon, give Aiman a try. I am positive youll go back for the rest of your lives.
I have a hard time even giving this salon one star. My daughter was in the area from Boston and couldn’t get an appointment at her regular salon she uses when visiting home in Latham so she found this salon on line. After the first wash, her hair turned completely orange. I tried to come up with a solution that would be fair to both the salon as well as my daughter as my daughter couldn’t get back from Boston to have it corrected and also did not feel comfortable with the stylist Beki touching her hair again (Can’t blame her... I don’t think anyone would trust her after seeing what has happened to my daughter’s hair). The management would only agree to give back to me what would be a so called $80.00 service. We paid a total of $275.00 last Friday!!! HUGE loss for us as well as the worst dye job ever, (unless you want bright orange hair)! Obviously, the stylist Beki messed up with the toner! Bad management too...They should have been willing to resolve this in a more favorable way. Would never recommend, never!!!!!
Not surprisingly, Aiman has stepped up to the challenge during the COVID 19 pandemic. Temperatures were taken upon entry, stylists wore masks and face shields, and new clear partitions separated the sinks. I felt very safe and very pleased to be back at Namia.
The salon is absolutely pristine and extremely professional! Very comfortable environment and attentive staff. Sarah has been doing a fantastic job and we can’t wait to see her again! Great job and keep up the excellent work!!
I have been going to Aiman for over five years now. She is an artistic, creative, hair designer who always thinks of new ways to cut, color, and style my previously dull, lifeless, and frizzy hair.

2020-09-24I have been a client of Aiman’s for over 10 years. She is a gifted professional and I always receive numerous compliments about the style and color of my hair. During my last 2 visits I found that the salon was practicing all the CDC recommendations to assure that their clients are safe. My background is in healthcare and I can say that I felt comfortable during my services based on all the precautions they are taking. I highly recommend Namia Salon!

2021-01-25As someone who isnt originally from this area, Ive been to a few salons in the Capital Region trying to find one I like. Ive definitely found it! My stylist was Beki and she was warm, welcoming, and professional. Many people are good stylists, but I enjoyed her as a person! She consulted with me, asking what I wanted and then recommended what would be best. My hair was a mess with a lot of grow out from boxed dye and she helped me transition to a subtle blonde highlight to make my hair look blended. Great experience!

2020-10-03After spending the past 6 months working from home, I went in for a haircut with Aiman.As always, she did an amazing job on my hair.I was the only customer in the salon during the appointment.The salon was spacious and clean making me feel safe with respect to COVID.Thank you to Aiman and her staff! 2020-06-15I’ve been getting my hair done here since I was a little girl, and I can’t imagine going anywhere else. Taylor is phenomenal for haircuts and styling. Thank you for always making me feel beautiful!EDIT: This salon has taken amazing steps to ensure safety and cleanliness as we deal with COVID-19. My temperature was taken upon entry and everyone was wearing masks. Shields are also installed to separate washing stations and the front desk. Because of all of this effort, my appointment was SO relaxing and a much needed break from outside stress!

2019-03-16My son and his fiancé gave me a gift certificate to Namia. I had my appointment today with Aiman. It was a wonderful experience. I had not been to a hairdresser for quite a while due to various circumstances. I am so happy with the cut and color that Aiman chose., and the attention to comfort and details. The salon is very nice , and well laid out for all the service options. I was warmly greeted and attended to by everyone, and I do mean everyone. I would highly recommend Namia Salon.

2019-06-20This was my third visit to Namia Salon with Taylor, and I couldnt be happier with the results. I did the Aveda Hair Therapy, along with a cut, color, and style; my hair looks and feels fantastic. She is a very experienced and passionate stylist. Taylor provided professional guidance as to the right products for my hair type and styles I desire. She also schooled me on the best practices with taking care of my hair. I love their Aveda collections!! Since I began visiting Namia Salon & Spa, my hair is healthy, and Im often complimented by others. I go out of my way to recommend this Salon to my friends.

2020-03-21A most satisfactory experience! Very relaxing atmosphere. Everyone there does what they can to make you comfortable and happy.I got a precision haircut done by Kristyn who did a fantastic job. It was the shortest I had ever gone with my hair and she gave me exactly what I wanted. Very professional. I couldnt be more pleased.

Aiman is a superb stylist, whether it be consulting, cutting or coloring, you can trust you will leave there feeling beautiful, relaxed and like a brand new you! 2020-06-11Visited Namia the other day. I was greeted by my stylist. She was very professional. She escorted me to a hair station where we consulted, then to a second station for hair care. Each station was cleaned immediately after I moved. Looking forward to my next visit.

2021-06-15Aiman is so incredibly talented ! In all my years I have never had a better cut . No matter what I do to it I always look great !! The staff is v kind and patient .Hands down the best salon around !
