I visited this place on a Sunday. Had an appointment for 2:00pm and I arrived 15 minutes early to a line outside & people saying staff is on lunch.. so why have appointments available for that time?? Anyways my biggest problem is the “Dr.” I seen who is just an LPN who informed me that she will be sending a prescription to my pharmacy. My pharmacy is closed on Sunday so on Monday afternoon I called to see if my medication had been sent over? No medication was sent. I have been calling trying to get in contact since Monday afternoon in regards to this and i absolutely cannot get in touch with anyone and have yet to receive a call back though the automated operator says press “1” for a call back. Not to mention there’s barely any patient privacy in the back. They allow a long line of people to stand in the back for COVID testing while patients who are waiting to be seen by a physician have to squeeze by to get into a room, all eyes on you. This place needs to be relocated, hire better staff & have better patient service representatives. All around too much and will not be going back.
I only gave 1 star because they don’t let me give less. I had a appointment only to go in person to see they allowing walk in patients as well. Created chaos by creating 2 lines disregarding appointment time just going by the other of the line . People where pushing, shouting, getting in each other face over being skipped on the line. I feared for my safety and rather not come back to this chaotic scene. It be easier to set up appointments for the morning and have walk in patients in afternoon. Another option is to have a few days appointment and a few days walking. I personally believe the owners of this practice are being greedy and try no to fit the most patients to make the most money. Taking advantage if a horrible situation to fatten their bank account. This Experience was just chaotic and crazy. Their got to be a better way to get people seen then this.
This place is horrible. I stood outside in the cold and rain from 8:30am to 3:30 pm to take 3 min PCR test and the rapid Covid test. People were sitting on the floor. Nobody from the clinic provided a chair or 2. Never told us what the hold up was. Found out that they were only letting 4 walk-in in at a time.I got sick just waiting to take a test. People who had appointments were complaining because they weren’t being see even close to their appointment time.I thought I would start using the doctors here but I will never come here again.
Extremely disappointed with the service when I went today. Waited 4 hours in the cold just to get tested. I understand that they are short staff and I applaud the ones that remained professional despite all the chaos however some of the workers were very rude. The rapid and PCR tests took no more than 2-3 minutes. Waited an additional hour to get COVID test results just for them to give me someone else’s results with the same last name. Thankfully I checked before I left because I had all this person’s personal information. Not Good !
My son and I did a rapid test on 01/03/2020, we couldn’t wait 30 mins in the cold so went home. An email was sent to me with a portal for just my results but not my sons. I’ve been going there everyday since and I keep getting stories till today 01/06/2022, I was so visibly mad after having to wait again in the cold for 3 hours only to be told my sons results is not in the system!! I met people who had waited longer than I did!!!1. No one picks up when you call2. They advertise as a walk in clinic but they tell you to make an appointment when u get there.3. After a Covid test, you are made to stand outside in the cold for 30 mins for your results whiles they could just advice you to go home and check for the results online! Please just don’t go there, find a more competent and reliable place for your health services.
Went to this location on 12/20 for a PCR. Upon arrival my info was not in the system despite making an appointment. After the test, I was asked if I’m traveling and said no, they stated the results will take 5-7 days. It has been 9 days. If positive I could have spread Covid to many around me. What is the point if results cannot be delivered in a timely manner to keep others safe. Your best bet is to do NYC Mobile testing. You get a rapid in 20 minutes and the PCR results are delivered in 48-60 hours. Do not go here.
Absolutely Horrible service scheduled an appointment for a pcr on January 9th had an 11am appointment with My Fiance stood outside for an hour and half and after 12 days still no results. Took two days to speak to a supervisor and still no results by the time I get my results I will be negative. You brag on your line that you have taken over 10000 test it means nothing if you can provide the results within a decent time frame totally unacceptable. Its about quality not quantity. I will also be sending an email to the Cei
Staff here are very rude and unprofessional.. they were supposed to open at 9. Did not open until after 9:30 .. the front desk staff were just sitting around laughing and talking while people were outside in 20 degree weather foe hours waiting.I asked to speak with a manager. And was told by Kadeijah that there was no manager and she was the one in charge. Her attitude was very bad and dismissive to everyone online. When I told her it was well after the time they were supposed to open her response was “ ok and “.Still waiting for PCR results almost a week later.I still never received my Pcr results from here from before Christmas. It is impossible to get anyone on the phone. Do not recommend this place.
This place is the WORST my sister went there with my nephews to get them tested and my sister continued to express that she was having trouble with the website and the front deak refuse to help her. THE CRAZY PART IS IT WASNT BUSY 😔I my self tried to book a appointment with no sucess and I am technical inclined. This is suppose to be a WALK IN CLINIC so i dont understand why she couldnt just put the patients on the schedule. What kind of customer service is this if I could give this Urgent care a -5 star I would this is unexceptable, if they were the patient and needed help they wouldnt want to be pushed aside or to treated like your needs isnt priority, every patient deserves to be treated the same. I wouldnt recommend this Urgent care to anyone.
Takes way too long to post PCR results they claim comes back in 2-3 days. It doesnt take 14 days and people are out of work awaiting this clinics resultsEdit: They copy and paste the same exact response to ever review. When you call the number they forward it to a voicemail box. If the wait time is “longer than usual” disclose that at the appointment and dont give patients false information. Thank you
I was greeted by a friendly staff lady at the door who listened to my needs and directed me to the official reception. There was a concern with my pre-registration and the reception lady collected my documents and had me write down my information when she registered me and encouraged me to sit and wait. The wait was long as there was only 4 staff working with many patients. However, they were competent and efficient considering the circumstances. I was handled with care and all of my questions was answered.I was able to park in the shopping area parking where the office is located for up to 2 hours and I was done within an hour and 45 minutes. This office has maintained a connection with me from the time I registered online and has successfully provided my information as I needed it and how they report they would. If the wait was not so long, I would rate this service as 5 stars.Experienced PatientMy second visit was in and out. There was more staff. 5 star service with no complaints here.
Very bad attention on the part of the staff at the reception, they have a bad attitude when you ask them something why they are so busy on their phones and they do not explain you for being on their phones again. They try to ignore you, they do not explain the steps to follow, this is my first time here and the last, they do not have any professionalism, they treat you as if the service they offer you is free or as if you owe them something.Trash customer service!!!
Horrible arrive 15 minutes early to wait on line pass my appointment time the ladies at the front desk have you standing waiting, speak your business loud, unprofessional at the desk attitudes, don’t know how to speak to people I would never. Need a new staff at the front desk know how to speak & treat people. The doctor can get 5 stars.
This place is packed (atleast 25 people) with 5 chairs for patients to sit down. Mind you, elderly, pregnant, post surgical all require seats. There is extremely limited seating. I currently have a 1130am appt. Its now 12:40pm and i havent even had my vitals taken. I inquired at the very pleasant front desk clerk who informed me that i had 7 people ahead of me. This is completely unacceptable and a form of negligence. This facility is not equip to accommodate such a large amount of people. Every potential patient in this facility walks out angry because of the ridiculous wait. I am a nurse and am really leaning towards contacting the DOH. This place is horrible!!
I had an appt for a COVID test at 10:30, the e-mail did say it would take longer and it was. There was an appointment line and a walk in line. Some people starting getting upset because it said walk in. The staff was able to calm people down and allowed a few appointment and walk-in at a time, this worked well . The staff was very professional. Thanks to them during this challenging time!
Today i was scheduled for an appointment, my appointment was at 1 :00 pm today i arrive to the clinic at 1pm the receptionist in the front told me that the doctors are going to lunch to please return at 1:30 pm. I came back to the clinic at 1:30 the receptionist who was there today tells me to come back he is still on lunch so i asked what time should i come back she tells me 2pm. So i came back at 2pm the receptionist told me to sit and have a seat and wait for my name to be called. However, i sat and wait , my name was called at 3pm the medical assistant taken my vitals and she said everything is normal. The Dr will be here shortly . Dr Corey was the ONLY Dr who was present today he was very pleasant he had to walked back and forth to rooms to rooms to service the patients. DR CORY was very distress because of the worth ethic that was occur in the building . The receptionist in the front was on the phone talking on face -time. very loud and rude behind the plexi glass there was no manager present so i can make an complaint there i am so displease by visiting this clinic. This place is very dirty there is no janitor on duty the floors need to be mopped and their is holes in the walls. THE HEALH DEPARTMENT SHOULD TAKE HEED INTO CHECKING THIS CLINIC. I WOULD NEVER VISIT THERE AGAIN WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!
I went to this urgent care at 3:40pm. When I entered the urgent care it was very spacious and clean. I checked in and gave all the necessary information, I was the only one in the office. Within minutes I was called to see the doctor. I was out of the office by 4:10pm. This will be my go to place when my doctors office is closed.
Dont bother making an appt you still have to stand outside and even when u tell them that you might be covid positive cause you did a home test so you made an appt on line so you dont stay close to ppl they still have you wait outside and when you ask for the manager they say they dont have one and they dont know the name of the manager. Yes. Very professional and great job at not trying to spead covid. Did not help me whats so ever.
Cannot seem to make an appointment online not all staff is pleasant only one lady at the front desk is pleasant and very professional. The young ladies at the front desk is very rude to everyone who comes in it is like they dont want to be there, the rooms are dirty they need to be cleaned after each patient visit the doctors are very professional respectful and caring though.
Had a 9am appointment, but wasnt seen until 9:45am. The office opened at 9am and the employees spent the next 45 minutes setting the office up for the day. Also the fire alarm in the lobby was beeping and no one did a damn thing about it. I was there for an hour listening to that beep every 30 seconds. I needed a rapid COVID test and the office was located close by, but I wouldnt ever go back there for anything. Please note the response for every negative review. A cut and paste response about how important they take my concerns. No one has contacted me to get my opinion about what my experience was like. Just another reason why this places service is absolute garbage.
This place is unfortunate. As a long time Co-OP City resident, I was happy that this urgent care place opened up so close to my home. In its earlier years, customer service seemed better and wait times were almost non existent. Staff was polite and helpful. It is not that way anymore. It is poorly managed. They simply do not care. I have not personally waited hours, but to hear someone has waited hours for an appointment in some of these reviews is awful. Walk- ins I get, but appointments? No way!I recently went for a PCR test. I have been out of work a week now because I have what are considered covid19 symptoms and as to keep those I work with safe, I got a pcr test and remained home. And anyway this is our current protocol when exhibiting symptoms. Was told my results would come in 3 days. I made sure to ask again if they were sure it was 3 days. I was told yes. Here we are day 4 soon to be five. I called their number for customer service on day 3. Was told I would receive my results the next day. When I did not receive them, I called the number again. The gentleman then began to say to me that they are following up with tests that have not seen results in the allotted time and said they send the tests to outside labs due to the amount of covid tests being done. He gave me all the numbers to the labs. I called the JACKSON heights location and the girl on the phone after I told her what I was told she said yeah thats where your test is at that lab and it will take 1 or 2 more days. I asked her to confirm my specific test. She did not. She said she could not. Why? AND I was told 3 days. I will not hold my breath and will be getting another test done elsewhere. Money is being used to do these tests by these facilities I am assuming government money (our taxes, healthcare etc.) And they are not following through. This needs to be investigated. Believe me I will be reporting this. There are many people who have never received their results after getting a test done here. Why?When I arrived as a walk in there was a line outside a little before 9am. Lets say it was 8:45-8:50am. If people make 9am appointments here why are those doors not open a few minutes/ 15 minutes before in order to begin the check in process? One of the girls who let us in, who was wearing blue scrubs, left and went to get coffee and then returned to then begin taking patients. This was at 9am. How? When patients have appointments at 9am. Come to find out she was doing the covid testing this day. She was nice enough, but this seems so unprofessional. There is no care in the world for peoples time and energy and no aim for good quality of service. People who are coming here are not feeling their best. This is the nature if the services provided and no effort is made to make the patients experience seamless or even accurate it seems. They seem unorganized and where are the doctors? 1 doctor is not enough and a physicians assistant is not a doctor. Reading some of these reviews of patients being rushed, misdiagnosis, patients being in pain due to a health care provider, health care providers not being compassionate and tests conducted having no results? It sounds like this place needs to be investigated, shut down and or redone. New competent staff is needed. I have a PCP appointment scheduled here. I will be canceling it. What a shame. If you are not going to provide quality care you have to get out of co-op city. We need a proper urgent care center.
This place is horrible. The ladys up at the front desk all have attitudes. Then you have one with ridiculous long nails that can care less about the patients. When you are dealing with the public they should have people working that what to deal with the public. It is so sad to have to come somewhere when you are sick and have to deal with staff that has a problem with all you ask them. I an so disgusted
I had a 6:15 appointment. I got there early and was told to wait in line with the walk INS. Waited for thirty minutes in a cramped hallway. Asked if they could call me because I was parked outside. They said no. I asked if I could sit down. They said yes but I will call you when the line goes down....what is the point of an appointment. I left. Never again!!!!
I never ever post reviews, especially not bad ones, but this experience was especially triggering. I made an appointment and still had to wait 2:30 hrs to be seen, just for the doctor to barely ask questions about the reason for my visit and rush me out. The building itself barely seems finished and ready for patients. They took a urine sample from me and said they would send it to a lab, five days after not receiving any information I called and was informed there was nothing recorded about a urine sample so there were no results. So basically I wasted my time and have no idea what is wrong with me. The doctor prescribed me medication within a less then 5 minute visit. Luckily, I didn’t take it because I wanted to be sure that I had what the medication was for but now there is no point. If you are seriously dealing with something, do not go here. You will leave feeling worse than when you got there.
I had an amazing experience at this clinic. One of the First things I noticed was it was very clean ....the staff was very kind and helpful.... If I had any questions they were very thorough and never made me feel like I was a bother.... I would definitely recommend everyone to come here.
The worst experience in my life. First off they need to close that co-op location down or hire new staff members. I went to this location only because i had my last procedure done there before, which was a bad idea. I was taking into the back with a male nurse at first to check my vitals and explaining to him my situation he had to stop and ask his phone how do you spell “abscess”, strike one. As i waited for a doctor to enter, i was greeted by Mr Frank Asowe. I explained myself again on why i was in the office. Mr Frank explains he was able to assist me with one of my issue and ask me to undress so he can take a look. He than notified me that he must numb the area for the procedure. He left to get a female assistant and as he returned he began. I was in to much pain after the injections and ask for a moment, which is normal if I’m waiting for the numbness to kick in. He left and within a min he returned and said he must begin, in a rushing manner. As Mr Frank Asowe was in the middle of the procedure i ask for a moment again because i was in extremely bad pain and i felt everything. He begin to say no he can’t wait anymore because his assistant belong in the front desk and she has other patients to assist. I ask to leave at this point. He push me back and said he must finish because he has other patients to see. Long story short, i ask numerous of time to be released and i was forced to stay there. I was scared and shaking because of the amount of pain i was in and how i was being treated. He than tried again to numb the Area with no assistant in the room and i screamed, he finally got the point And said he is done, bandage me up and left the room. I got dressed So fast, called my husband and ran out the office in pain and fear. Mr Frank should not be allowed to assist any patients in that matter and something should be done. Very unprofessional and that office shouldn’t be ran by individuals that can not work under pressure.
Took my daughter here a half hour before they closed and the staff openly accepted us. I explained that my daughter had suffered a paintball shot to her left eye and that i really needed some help. The entire team welcomed us in and went above and beyond to treat us. The young man nurse treated us and made this process very easy for us and we were out in record timing.
I came in for a job physical, arrived when they opened. The wait is a bit long (I waited an hour and a half to be called), so be prepared for that even with making an appointment, unless youre doing a covid rapid test, I saw people get called fairly quick.Overall the staff is great (but limited), super cooperative, and efficient in their work.
I was at Stats are Urgent before it open. I told the woman at the desk I had a 9:35am appt, and she stated doctors don t come in till 9:45am. I told her clearly Ill wait. At 12 noon still havent been called & a another Receptionist stated I wasnt booked. It passed me off sitting there so long & the woman didnt put me in. I left & scheduled an appointment elsewhere.
Customer service here is horrible. I overheard a patient say that her appointment was at 5:45pm and because she was persistent she was seen before me and my appointment was at 5:30pm. Another man was yelling at the front desk whose daughter’s appointment was at 6:30pm yet he decided to come in 5 hours earlier then he should and the patient was seen before me. I had to inform the front desk that my appointment was before those two patients and both went in ahead of me. Three minutes later, I get placed into an exam room and it does not look like they even changed the exam table paper for me to sit on. Not very hygienic at all. Now I see that the providers make exceptions for those patients who seem impatient. I understand this is an urgent care and many people are there for different reasons but every patient should have their appointment honored thats how excellent customer service is delivered. If walk ins are a high priority to you then please do not give patients an option to make an appointment online. This will be my first and last time I come here.
My correct name is Gavin Williams and this location is not inclusive to people needing PEP. This medication is widely known especially to LGBTQ+ Community and the doctor was unable to prescribe it. I hope they also do something better with privacy because I shouldn’t have to hear why people are visiting nor did I feel comfortable broadcasting why I was visiting. Horrid decor too.
So I needed to get a Covid test because my son has a sleep study that needed to get done. The receptionist told me that it would take 15 minutes to get the results on the healow app. It’s the next day and day of my sons appointment and still have no results. Not only do they make it difficult to speak to someone the staff is unprofessional. Never should a receptionist be arguing in front of other patients with a patient. The level of unprofessional behavior and lack of updating records on time is bizarre. Needless to say, if you want better service I would advise you to go elsewhere because this place is not serious. I’m highly devastated that I have to rush after work to see if my results are available then rush to mySons appointment all because I have no updated results in my file although I took a rapid test and it was supposed to done in 15 minutes
THEY WILL REFUSE MEDICAL SERVICES WHO DOESN’T HAVE A CREDIT CARD ON HAND! I walked in to the office for a rapid testing. New patients must register with QR code. When you get to their required confirmation code, they pull the bait and switch and say if you do not put in a card number they will not make the appointment. If you do not have one then they show you the door. I asked for a business card and was told to call the number on the door. I asked for a manager and was told no with a smile as if she was pleased to see me annoyed. Stay far far away from this seedy place.
This Statcare is in a small shopping outdoors mall. They are quite efficient and extremely friendly and considerate. Skilled blood test technicians, the Doctors I saw were excellent and really cared about my long past symptoms and subsequent positive antibody tests as well as my concern to have rapid nasal tests to make others feel secure in my workplace and neighborhood. I had to wait a bit but there is plenty to do at adjacent stores while you wait and the Doctor himself from Einstein walked my results and accompanying documentation right outside to me on the bench. Very nice service and they are really trying to do their best .I have been there 2 times and sent others there as well. Thanks Statcare for being there and available for testing.
Walked in for a walk-in visit. only one customer other than myself in the lobby, and two employees behind the window. stood on the designated line area for 5 minutes with no one even acknowledging my presence. after waiting another 2-3 minutes i stepped to the desk where an employee was glued to her computer screen with a phone to her ear. i politely asked excuse me, is there a check-in list or should i continue waiting. she didnt even look up at me. waited a total of almost 10 minutes in the waiting area without a single word being said to me or any instruction being given. place appears to be employing casual, indifferent workers who dont even have the professionalism to welcome a customer who enters their doors, the bare mininum. god forbid i actually had an urgent medical matter at an urgent care center. never going back and advising others to steer clear of this place too if you actually need assistance in a timely and professional manner. i see why it was empty.
This place is the worst, I went there when Covid was bad and the doctor I saw didn’t spend no time to attend to me, it was a waste of insurance, I made an appointment online today when I get there they telling me they not doing no appointment so why they giving you the option to make appointment if they not taking appointment, I got there at 4pm they turning away people saying they not taking anymore,, Covid won’t be here forever you guys gonna be begging for patience one day,, you guys don’t treat patients good!!!
Not pleased at all. I made an appointment during the week for Saturday the eighteenth at 9:10 am for a cdl physical. At 8:45 am, I received a text saying my appointment is cancelled. Mind you, Im in the parking lot waiting for them to open. Then they want to send me to locations in Queens and Brooklyn for the physical. Very unprofessional and disappointing.
Disclaimer: The lines WILL be long and it will be quite hectic. However, the customer service will make the visit worthwhile. Although I waited a while, it’s understandable! The healthcare workers there are doing their absolute best considering we’re in the middle of a pandemic! The woman who took care of me, I believe her name was Shanique, did such a wonderful job. She was easy to talk to, good at her job, and generally just made my experience pleasant. Thank you, Statcare. I appreciate your care and patience with the many impatient people that come visit.
This was my first time visiting and it certainly will not be the last. The process was very easy and simple. The staff were very professional knowledgeable kind and caring, The assisted me with my questions and concerns. They have exceptional follow up which is a plus, I would definitely recommend this provider.
Literally the WORST place to go. i waited 3.5 hours just to be seen. the receptionist nurse kept disappearing, the doctor didnt want to be there. rushed everything. misdiagnosed me and tried to give me a medication that i shouldnt be taking because he didnt bother to fully examine me.
I was there on 12/03 at 7 pm . Please please whoever is the receptionist give her a raise or a second person to help her . Sue had so many people at once and she was still so nice and considerate and efficient. It was really fast and she was so helpful . She deserves recognition. And the nurse also who was doing her best to be quick and efficient.
If no stars was an option that’s what I would’ve given. Besides the doctor (who also failed to fill my prescription but I digress) I have never experienced a lack of empathy for the sick like this in my life. Everyone is extremely nonchalant and one of the receptionist refused to help anyone, but remained on her personal phone rolling her eyes at everyone that came up to the desk. Unless it’s an absolute last resort, I wouldn’t suggest this facility at all. Calling for assistance is also a waste due to their calling centers not having any knowledge or even a way to get in touch with the facility to actually get your prescriptions filled. Due to the accents, I’m going to assume they aren’t even in America. I’m deeply saddened that during a time like this, in the community that this facility is in, i would be left to feel as if my health (as well as the people I was in there with) didn’t matter.
Its been 3 days and I am still waiting for the results of the rapid test I took with them. I called the number and was told that someone would call me back in about 20mins. An hr later I got a call asking if I still needed assistance. As I was telling the man on the phone I do an tryin to explain the situation he hung the phone up. I reached out on fb..gave my name the date I took the test...they told me that it would be uploaded in a few minutes. I waited 30mins checked and it wasnt uploaded. I went back to messaging on fb and was told it still is being uploaded. I said as long as it is uploaded tonight that would be good because I need it for work in the a.m. he said it will. It is 11pm now and I checked and it is still not uploaded. This is the 2nd time in the span of 1week that I had to track down someone in order to get my results! Its not a pCr wich takes 4-5days and not 3 like they said to get results but this was a rapid test! This whole system need to b changed or reevaluated! I am now missing work because I have no test results and now have to go to a different covid testing institution in order to provide my job a negative test result so I could work.Only thing I am happy about is that this is the last time I am going to statcare(Bartow) so I dont have to go through this again and again and again.Found another testing site that does what they say they would do and are happy to assist/help no hassle
Would not recommend this place. Place is dirty. Floors are filthy and the bathroom is another story. After traveling one hr to this facility, I waited 2 hrs ( with appointment) only to be told I cannot get what I came there for. I was giving INCORRECT information when I called 2x. Once to inquire about the service I needed, then to actually schedule the visit.Good luck!UPDATE: I received a bill in the mail for $129 (1month later). What a joke!
The worst clinic ever . Very bad experience . They are very disorganized. Doctors come too late . And even they don’t know when the doctor comes when we ask them . They said this is walk in , but you see some people get appointment and go directly inside while others waiting in reception area. One Receptionist who always busy with her phone was very unprofessional and doesn’t want to explain you , however the other one was nice. Even they said They don’t know when Doctor arrives.
Hands down I recommend Stat Clinic. Yesterday on Christmas Eve I received a terrifying email from my job stating someone was Covid 19 positive and others may have been exposed. Least to say my Christmas Eve was ruined and canceled. By this time all clinics were closed do to the Holiday. I was searching on line all over and came across Stat Clinic on Bartow Ave in the BX. I called and was informed that the clinic closed at 9pm. I got there around 5:30pm the receptionist said it was too late. I explained my concerns and people that I came in contact with she made the exception. I was tested and so was my immediate family members. The rapid test was was performed by physician. I have to admit it was quick. The doctor on site was empathic and informative. In less than 10 mins are results came back. Thank You Stat for your service.
Poorly managed facility. I went to this location for pre-op clearance. I paid cash for this visit and was denied a refund for blood work after stating I no longer was interested in sending it out following an “abnormal EKG”. Upon arriving a “scribe” started the visit to ask about my PMH and purpose for the visit. I specifically raised concerns that I DID NOT want to start with blood work, that I would much rather start with an EKG; that way if something abnormal came up I would cancel my surgery. I must have expressed this at least five times. He proceeded to tell me that there’s no real protocol and that we would start with the labs. My vitals weren’t even taken: any health care professional knows to start the visits with vitals to avoid any falsely high blood pressure or heart rate. Labs were drawn and the the physician came in; no true physical was performed except Dr. Ihemaguba listening to my heart and lungs. No abdominal palpation, no evaluation of anything really. Fine. They send the EKG tech in (after hours of waiting) who was super sweet but continuously apologizing for the super Long wait due to short staffing (more than 3 hours, arrived at 240 and left at 6:17). She has a very hard time getting a reading with the EKG, the machine wasn’t registering and the lines were flat until she got help from another person. PRIMITIVE EKG machine. She said it wasn’t working because of my bra, so I removed it. The EKG read as low voltage; the EKG is now abnormal. Big surprise. When the doctor came in to tell me about the “abnormal” EKG he countered my being upset with anger and talked down to me like I was his child. Listen, had we had some ORDER you could have told me initially that my EKG was abnormal and sent me on my way. But 4 hours and $586 later it’s “oh well, we aren’t clearing you until you see cardiology and we are still sending the labs”. Now I have to spend $$ on seeing a cardiologist ? Then refund me my labs that were sitting in the back still. Calling the manager yielded no results; she said that “by law, the labs had to be sent out”. I would love to see what law exists; if someone refuses to have results sent there is a HUGE liability for the facilityAs you are now violating a patients rights. Akimi was very short and “sorry I can’t help you”. The end. Had anyone of them been in my Position they too Would have asked for a refund. This facility is poorly managed and poorly staffed. This kind of poor care is what exists in the Bronx and it’s sad. Stealing peoples money, nice job stat care.
Dont come here in the morning the doc runs late for like 2 hours. There is only one doc for the whole facility. Expect at minimum an hour of waiting time if u are gonna come here. The staff doesnt seem very caring or interested to help either. Also the fact that they are replying to every bad comment on their reviews is a HIPAA violation.
I had an 11:30 appointment and contacted the clinic via intercom (what they tell you to do) and got no response. The clinic was a mad house. Well over 20 people inside despite the 8 person limit. The standard response to every patient is that there are 4 people ahead of you. So with only “4 people” ahead of me I did not go back for the Covid test until after 2:30. Then none of the women at the front desk were wearing their masks correctly, thank goodness there is plexiglass separating patients from them. This doesn’t account for the nasty attitude and bickering between the front desk and MAs as well as the front desk with patients. I think one way things could have been more pleasant is if you let patients know why there is such a long wait.
I am torn writing this review because its honest, but I also dont want to speak negatively about medical staff who are working hard to take care of the public. The issue is with the way this clinic is being managed and it starts with the statcare website and scheduling process. Their website is HIGHLY deceptive. They make it appear that they are so efficient, organized and have a system for filling out all your patient forms and then you are allowed to book an appointment online. I booked an appointment for today at 6:45pm. I get here and the first thing I see is that they DO NOT have covid testing tents outside like it says on their website. So the pictures of tents arent real for this location (Bartow avenue, Bronx). The sign on the door says no more then 8 people inside. The receptionist was a nice woman but she could not ensure that people adhered to that protocol. I was confirmed on the system but all the paperwork I filled out and uploaded to the statcare system hadnt been uploaded from their main office. I counted 13-15 people in that waiting room the entire time I was waiting! Then you had a few patients sitting here in the waiting room without masks! So my fear is that even if you dont have Covid19 you could get it sitting in a crowded waiting room. If you must come here, wear an N-95 mask and face shield to be extra safe. I waited outside for one hour in 30 degree weather and when I couldnt stand it any longer I waited inside standing by the door, trying to stay safe. Im being hit by icy air every time the door opens but I prefer that to possibly getting sick here. And to make matters worse there is a homeless person outside sitting on a bench. He is cussing, yelling and complaining of the cold. 🤷♀️ Obviously he is mentally ill but it was stressful hearing his cries while waiting. This place is an urgent care and they arent doing anything that other urgent cares across NY arent doing. There are no tents for Covid patients and no extra precautions as advertised on the website. The staff was pleasant. They were clearly overwhelmed and overworked. The supervisor went home at 5pm so the medical team had to deal with patient complaints instead of helping the patients in the exam rooms. My heart is sad because this is a needed service in the community especially when the waiting room was comprised of 90% people of color. They started openingly saying that they are scared to be in this waiting room with so many people this long. The owners of statcare urgent Care are not showing that they care about the people they are serving. The medical staff here do care but that doesnt matter when management seems to only care about packing people into this facility in order to make $$$$. Shame on this place. I dont plan to this place for my covid19 testing needs or anything else and its only because they dont have enough support to see their patients. I cant wait 2 1/2 hours to be seen when I have an appointment. I got home at 9:30pm tonight from this appointment at 6:45pm and it was 3 miles from my home... 🥺
I had an appointment for 3:30 pmI waited until 4:20 pm to be called into a roomIt is 4:41 pm and I have not seen a doctor. I was told to be patient that there is only one doctor in office and 5 people ahead of me!Why book so many appointments with only one doctor in the building?! This is ridiculousI am not happy and I just need a form filled out for work from previous bloodwork.
It’s clean, medical staff are efficient. The receptionist with red hair was also efficient and friendly to everyone walking in whether they were there for a doctors visit or just had a question. Now the reception for the dermatology was the worse most painful thing to watch. They had their heads glued to their phones, didn’t acknowledge anyone approaching their desk, they were just very rude and stand offish, “like don’t bother us if you’re not here for The dermatologist” type of attitude. It gave me anxiety watching them treat people so horribly. Other than that I would have rated this place with at least 4 stars. Please replace those ladies covering the desk for dermatology. It’s horrible to watch their poor work ethic in such a well kept establishment.
Horrible Customer care team. I received a call back for an appointment. The language barrier was horrible. The woman acted like she could not understand English. After sitting in silence and me asking her if she was still there, she finally said thank you and have a good dat and then hung up on me. she literally answered none of my questions. CityMD is wayyyyyy better. Go there instead.
These were the best medical professionals Ive encountered in a long time! I came there because my son needed his stitches removed. They were quick.I brought all three of my kids with me so time was of the essence. The doctor was so gentle it was a virtual painless experience for my son. There was a nurse there who played with my daughter to even easy her mind about her brothers procedure. And my sons insurance was giving me a hard (you can never count on Medicaid) and they helped me out with payment. The entire staff was knowledgeable and kind. And beyond all they cared for my child in way that I would be forever grateful for. I will definitely come here in the future.
I wanted leave 0 stars as I used this location to have my husbands immigration physical done and unfortunately there staff or civil surgeon failed to complete our paperwork properly. So after doing the physical paying over 500.00 only to get a letter from immigration that our paperwork from Statcare was incomplete and would not be accepted. We called the Statcare number and after 4 times explaining the situation we got another appointment. We again had to pay and go through yet another physical in hopes that this civil surgeon is not incompetent and our paperwork is complete for immigration.....After leaving the poor review, the very next morning I got a call from stat care corporate they apologized for the error that took place in one of there locations and expedited our paperwork to be sure it was done properly this time. I am now very satisfied as the staff is friendly and accommodating and did not try to minimize our frustration with there mistake Thank you!
Be aware: the providers at this facility do not want to complete basic health forms, although they advertise otherwise. They fail to communicate this and wait until you are called to try to give a poor excise as to why they cant complete a basic health form, even though a patient has waited for an unforeseen period of time. This facility prides itself as seeing walk-ins and yet they dont give priority to the patients needs. I had a horrid experience in which I waited 3 hrs and the provider refused to complete a basic health form to cover my absence from my job and she refused to treat me. The greatest insult, i showed her my work ID that i was an RN, she refused to treat a fellow healthcare worker with respect and did not want to complete a one page health form and she did not want to treat me. I corrected this negative experience by going across the street to CITY MD after and being seen and having the provider complete my form all within 20 minutes. Go to CITY MD instead.
Horrible customer service. Rude and unprofessional receptionist who snapped at me various times. Greeted me with a Did you sign in? Because we are backed up! I was there for a simple rapid covid test. I witnessed her being rude to several patients when they were asking basic questions.Note to the business owner, send this woman to customer service training or anger management if she cant deal with people. If you want to be greeted and yelled at by an unprofessional receptionist please go here. Never again!
I wish I could give it no stars. Im reporting this facility to my insurance. This is the worst place ever! I don’t even know why they make appointments if you get seen 3 hours after the set time. Do not even waste your time with the unprofessionalism. And please disregard all the info online . They don’t even follow what’s on their web page . And by the way the receptionist and nurse or medical assistant (who f-ing knows) that was present 12/11/2020 in the morning since 9:30 is rude and should respect patients.
For an urgent care facility, this is not a friendly place. Customer service is COLD. Staff mannerisms blah, unassuring, simply bored.. Treatment room was incredibly bare, old equipment.. After lengthy online registration, i still had to fill out loads of paperwork (she did apologize). A serious upgrade is needed at Statcare. Need Urgent Care? Go to CityMD, a much better experience.
Friendly staff during our time of need. The day I found Statcare I had physically been to two other site in need of a rapid Covid test. I have had three other rapid test between April, May. But site was in Queens. Wanted to stay close to home.Same company that gave test in Queens, had sites in the BX. On-line site said Covid testing but didnt specify rapid. First site I made an appointment for didnt do testing at all. Found out after going there. Made another appointment with same company but called before I went for appointment. That site only did Covid blood testing.Went on the department of health site for Covid testing. Found a site very close to my home. When there filled out paperwork only to find they also didnt do rapid testing. But they did tell me about Statcare.
We found this place after looking for rapid covid testing.Imagine if an urgent-care clinic was run by that nightmare lady from the DMV, and thats this place. They dont answer the phone, the front desk was empty, and the online chat is worthless. They made us slog through a lengthy online booking, only to cancel it, saying it served no purpose. But it was their idea!We drove out there anyway, assuming we could get some answers in person...and the front desk was abandoned. Just a crowded waiting room and a sign-up sheet. It might be fine for walk-ins, if you already live nearby. Otherwise, just go anywhere else, like we should have.Of course things are tough right now. Theyre probably understaffed and overwhelmed. Thats fine. But please, tell us that BEFORE we waste half a day jumping through hoops.
Went for a rapid Covid test with my daughter on 12/22/20, to prepare for our Christmas. We got there at 9:25AM got our tests at 11:20AM: Seems long but we did the walk-in option, and it was shorter than other places in the area. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and professional.
I went for immigration physicals. The service was great. Staffs were friendly and accommodating. The Civil Surgeon was very informative. The entire process was time efficient. I went on Monday evening and had the physicals and tests done. I came back Wednesday afternoon and got the papers that I need. The price was also reasonable. I will definitely refer this place to anybody
I drove over there with my brother with an unusually high BP and because of COVID we’re avoiding hospitals. Before arriving I made sure to call as it was the nearest urgent care opened in town and was told I could walk in. Upon arrival, the lady at the front desk refused to see my brother despite being told he had high BP and that we called and were told to walk in. She said it was late and he needed to register online anyways. I informed her we were not made aware of that and because there was no other open location and it was not 9pm yet to please see him. She still refused, with no compassion or intention to even consider it or speak to a supervisor for a possibility. If I were you, I’d stay away from this place, clearly there is no compassion for a sick person.
I was looking to have my immigration medical done and this is the only place among that has availability next day. You can also walk-in if you needed to.Place is neat and well lit. There is a parking lot but it gets really busy later in the day so if you should consider booking an early appointment. The staff are friendly and really nice. They will make you feel comfortable during the interview, tests and blood draw.Price is straightforward. No hidden fees whatsoever.Civil Surgeon is friendly and easy to talk to.Overall, I would highly recommend this place for your immigration related medical tests.
I made an appointment and filled out all forms on the website. When I arrived 10 min before my scheduled time there was no place to sit down, so I had to stand for the next 40 minutes. After I was waiting for the total of 50 minutes I asked the receptionist how long I have to wait and was told there are 3 people in front of me. I asked to cancel my appointment and left. Why bother to make an appointment and waste time filling all the forms?
My wife and I did the COVID PCR test for an international flight. We needed the results within 72 hours which they said they could do. In fact, when we were tested they said we might get the results the next day, and definitely within 48 hours. We have still never received the results. Two stars instead of one because the guy administering the test was nice.
Everything stated about the rude staff at the front desk and lack of communication with patients waiting is VERY true I found out 2 days ago remembering why I never use this urgent care and opted to use cityMd when is was opened in Bay plaza...Waste of time just pass by the door and have to have a QR scan to book an appointment 4 days LATER...place is a waste of space the rude staff alone just kills this place as an option!
I cant speak for what this place is like Pre-COVID.But whatever you do, dont go here now. When I first arrived the ENTIRE staff was on break for like a hour?? They even had people booked for appointments during the times they had break. Then they came back and there was no structure, no social distance enforcing, no line organization. There had to be like 30 people in this space thats smaller than your living room. Not to mention idk what type of pexi-glass setup they have but you basically have to stick your neck through the opening to just tell them what youre name is. Im having flashbacks just thinking about crazy it was looking in there.Just go somewhere else or a CityMD.
The wait wasnt too long, the staff were very friendly and i walked out feeling like i got the answers i was looking for. They couldve uncharged me for the other reasons i went to get checked, but my doctor referred me to more affordable clinics. Overall a great experience.
The staff were very pleasent and they kept me well informed about my visit and what I needed to do. Their centers wait time is very good and the best part is that when the doctors come they are patient with you.The doctors educate you about what is going on with you and they are not dismissive nor do they rush you. They have you ask your questions and express your concerns. Infact, they welcome you to follow up should you have any issues or the ailment is not resolved. Their follow up shows they really care. I was very happy with my visit.
It was good to see that we had doctors and nurses that we can relate to African American doctor and after American nurse that understood my private situation walking into the clinic. Although I did felt a bit rush but it was understandable because another patient need a paramedics to go to emergency.
I dont recommend this facility, I had an appointment for 3.45pm they made me wait 1hour before been seen, I went for the medical card for the CDL when I got there no good afternoon just what do you need I explain that I had and appointment for the medical card she explained that who ever I made the appointment with and told me it was $75 didnt know it is $95 hey raised the price from $75 to $95 and a fee for the card for the wallet $5 more. it took me more almost 2 hours to go in and be out. it was very frustrating.. please find a better place.
Super unorganized location. Came here to get a rapid test and they do not respect appointment times, instead they tell you appointments are available when in fact they triple book the same time for multiple patients. The front desk staff is super unorganized and does not communicate with patients. Won’t be coming back here. There’s another location in Queens that’s way more efficient.
I was really impressed. This was my first experience using an Urgent Care center. I was nervous about seeing anyone other than my PCP but the staff put my fears at ease. The office was really clean. All of the staff were awesome! I will definitely recommend all of my family and friends.
6/15/20 was my first time at this establishment. I was a walk-in for COVID swab& antibody testing. The overall experience was fast and I was out of the office in less than 30 minutes. I saw Dr. Michael Ihemaguba for less than 2 minutes. He was pleasant and introduced himself and showed how I could sign up for MyChart Stat account online, and that they will follow-up with me post result.During that encountered NO annual physical or blood work was done.Prior to meeting Dr. Ihemaguba, the medical assistant took my vitals, weight, and asked my questions such as what prescriptions meds I am on etcera.Later that evening I noticed five ICD10 codes on my visit summary that was fraudulent. They billed my insurance for task never done. They doctor did not once placed a hand or stethoscope on me. Did not discuss no education or my newly diagnosed Type 2 DM when I am not a diabetic--This is illegal.Check you billing summary people.
To rate Statcare below 5-star would have been most unfair. I had to come in as Urgent Care patient, a little nervous but the office ambience and courteous staff settled my heart. Then the Physician came and methodically he asked questions, carried out some physical tests and ordered an EKG. In a short while he returned with the result, which he gave a copy and told me I was okay. He explained what would have happened, and boy, he was spot on. I left the doctor’s office to the nearest chapel to thank God and praise Him for good health, the world’s greatest resource.
Noticed my DOT Physical card expired today. Did a quick search on my phone and came up with Statcare. Called and the receptionist asked me when I’d like to come in. Since I needed to get this done immediately, I said that I could come in today. At 2:45 PM I was able to schedule a 3:00 PM appointment. When I arrived I was quickly attended to. Desk handed me my forms and once completed I was called within 15 minutes. I was examined and met the requirements to receive my new card. A big plus is that they even fax the certificate directly to DMV Albany and give you the confirmation of such.Definitely will use again, and will be sending our people there ....
A shamefully, poor experience. Unpleasant, unprofessional front desk staff who ask you to yell your personal information and the reason for your visit for the entire libby to hear. Providers who assess you with their eyes, and have no regard for your time. I wouldnt recommend ever going to this place!!!
The staff at this urgent care were very nice and made me feel welcome, it was a quick visit like 15 min wait before I was called in. The lady drawing my blood was very gentle and the the overall staff was great. I recommend this urgent care. Ive been to a few and this has been the best one
I am scheduled for a endoscopy at 8 am! Apparently they booked 3 people for 8 am. With that said we all had to wait 3 hours until we were seen! Worst place every! If you make an appointment clear your schedule for the day!. Oh and then one of the workers come out to the waiting area with a disposable gown and gloves on and went to the water station to get water!!.. what happen to the infection control !!???I WILL NEVER RETURN! GOOD LUCK TO YOU!PS. the staff were pleasant :-)
I had prompt service at this location. I was pleased as I am traveling and didnt want to be to be sick on vacation. I was able to get the medicine that I required. The office is big enough for people to be socially distanced and mask are required. Thank you Statcare !
The doctor was great, he was kind, compassionate, and very knowledgeable. I went in feeling horrible and came out feeling a whole lot better. Everyone was kind and I didnt feel like a bother to anyone. I wish Id known about this facility a long time ago. If you arent feeling well this is the place to go and not spend hours in the ER and leave sicker than you went in! Alphonso was great!
First I would like to thank the providers, as this review does not reflect their outstanding service; instead I would like to emphasize the disappointing experience I had during my encounter with the front desk staff (Daisy) yesterday at Bartow Statcare. As a returning patient, I was in shock at the lack of professionalism and empathy for other patients who were in need of attention. I witnessed as the Front desk inidividual aggressively responded to patients in a manner that should be reserved for Elsewhere. Arriving for a prescription refill, I am accustomed to being greeted politely and asked the purpose of my visit; instead I received no attention for the first 10 minutes until I requested to be put on a patient list, to which I was told to sit and wait. An hour later, with no follow up informantion, I decided to leave (along with several other patients who also left due to the bizarre behavior at the front desk) being an urgent care, there is no reason some patients were waiting for 2 hours for medical attention. Sad day at my favorite Clinic. I can only hope someone takes this feedback and utilizes it to coach and train there respective teams in client patient interactions.
Bad experience getting an appointment online, calling hours and holding hours,My biggest disappointed to date is a prescription was recommended upon my visit and to date and time as I cannot receive my medication, and I cannot get back on to the location, I was holding like ,1 hr and next thing you know it cut off.Sad sad sad, Ill have to go to the ER.
Not Covid safe..I went in to get a Covid test done, reception wasnt the friendliest to me or others that came in. Was told to come in at 3 and the amount of people that were allowed to be in the waiting room was crazy. I went to to get the test done, not get Covid. Not the safest place to go to during these times! Find some place that complies with regulation!!
Friendly staff & quick service. Went in on Friday to get my Immigration Medical Exam done. Had no problems they had my records from last year. Got my ppd shot on Friday & did blood work etc. Went back on Monday for the Civil Surgeon to read my ppd and stuff. I was out of there with within 30 mins with my signed and sealed package for my interview.
Just came here for a PPD (Tuberculosis test) I needed for work. The appointment was conveniently scheduled on a Sunday afternoon and it only took me 15 minutes once I arrived. The front desk associate had my info and the Doctor was ready to see me as soon as I walked in. I will definitely keep coming back to Statcare and as a Social worker I will refer my clients to visit Statcare as well🙌
I made an appointment and was early but I was addressed immediately and the professional at the desk was very respectful. She answered all of my questions and informed me of each step. I followed her instructions and everything flowed smoothly. I enjoyed this experience. Everyone did great! Thank you Stat Care.
Staff was nice...both medical scribe and privider were very detailed. They knew all information about etiology of URIs and respiraty illness. The front desk deserves a raise and staff deserves a raise. May God bless everything they do, they took very good care of my son
This establishment is very unprofessional. There are two receptionists at the counter whom have no idea which office they are representing. You go up to the counter not knowing that you have to speak with the lady on the left first colonoscopies and the lady on the right for blood work. Instead they just take your information and tell you to have a seat and you sit there for an hour not knowing you spoke with the wrong clerk. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.
I am very happy with the services provided by Dr. Priti Jain and staff, first person i met was Ms. Maria at the front desk.....shes very professional, informative and funny. Ill give a plus for that. She did a great job with other patients at the front desk while i waited too.Sofia checked my BP and temperature....we spoke briefly about each others background and her aspirations about becoming a doctor....best of luck with your endeavors. The doctor and his assistant was awesome.....3 men in 1 room? Of course we spoke about SPORTS. But while getting the jobs done. I was 100 percent comfortable the entire time, the assistant was funny and cool.Very professional people.I encourage everyone to check them out...dont even think twice about it.GoodLuck.
Im really happy to have found a great and caring group of medical professionals across the street from my house . Im very new to the area and I was very happy to find a place that would take me without an appointment. Dr.Jain and all his assistants were super friendly and eased all of my concerns . Stat care will definitely be my to go place when Im sick .
Absolutely horrible and GHETTO! The secretaries in the front are brain-dead. The most horrible experience I have ever had a medical facility. The skip patients cause they have no organization skills or common sense. They can’t keep track of who came first or last. Pure ignorance!
I was told not to eat to prepare for an ultrasound & the doctor told me they were calling locations to see if they accept my insurance. Long story short, I did not receive a call & was basically starving myself for no reason. I called back & they wanted to give me 3 places I could call to see if they accept my insurance. Id rather not waste my time calling doctors offices all day.
This place is a fraud. They told me that for the same day Covid-19 test, my insurance would not cover it and I had to pay $60 for the test, however, they still took my insurance information and billed them for $250. So why was I charged the $60 in the first place? Now it makes sense why they wanted to do a video-call consultation, so they can bill my insurance for who-knows-how-much consultation fee. I am glad I never responded the damn call.
I was denied service as I was given a 2:30 appointment and I walked in before 2 and was not seen. Receptionist told me they closed at 2pm.Horrible experience. They are the ones who gave me the appointment so they are the ones that made a mistake and to top it off when I call to explain I was call a LIAR that I didn’t have an appointment I’m a US citizen and was treated like nothing. Too much to write. Total disgusting
The worst medical facility I have ever been to. Had a colonoscopy scheduled for 10am today. After fasting for 40 hours and drinking the medicine for 4 hours (in between gags) they had the nerve to make me wait 2 hours and then informed.me.it would.be another 1/2 hour I lost.my cookies, cancelled my appt. And would WARN everyone to stay away from this hell hole.
After my terrible experience at the 174th st location I came here for a follow up and all of the staff were great. The doctor was very helpful and efficient in her work and helped figure out all of the paperwork errors the 174th st location committed. If youre coming to stat urgent care in the BX come to this one!
The staff has great customer service and I am comfortable going to this Statcare at Bartow. The attending physicians are personable as well. I ask a question, they answer. My Physician Assistant, Aqsa Asif is the only PA that I want to see. Aqsa Asif, PA, saved my life. I was diagnosed in May 2019 with an extremely high BMI. Because of Aqsa Asifs diagnosis, as of March 2020, I have lost 70 pounds. I am no longer on high blood pressure medication. I continue to drop weight. Thank you Statcare.
My experience with Statcare was not very good. I was feeling very weak and nauseous, evidently from the flu virus and though I looked physically ill I had to wait about 2 hours to see the single doctor on call. Urgent care implies just that, and there was nothing urgent in their approach. After waiting that long I started putting on my coat. Thats when the doctor called me in and spent 5 mins, max telling me I had the flu. He sent the prescription for tamiflu to a pharmacy and just my luck, they were out. I shouldve just gone to the ER! Totally soured on this place!
I made an online appointment for a Sports Physical for my daughter bc her CVS Minute Clinic appointment was cancelled. I have used the minute clinc for sports clearances when my kids are either in between appointments or i cant make it to the doctors office to get the forms signed. The cost is always $59 cash bc insurance doesnt cover these appointments. When we showed up at Statcare, the receptionist told us it would be $99 plus $40 for a blood test. After I went to the website on my phone and showed her that it clearly advertises $60 Sports Physicals, she told that bc I was not using insurance, the cost would be $60 plus, $30 for the eye screening, $20 for hearing and she would also need a PPD test which would be an additonal fee. I explained that she already had the PPD test administered by her regular physican and I asked what is included in a $60 Sports Physical if routine hearing and eye screenings are an extra cost. The response was that the doctor would not sign off on a Physical unless I completed and paid for all the additonal tests. So basically there is no $60 Sports Physical unless you bring your insurance card and either these people dont know the difference between a Sports Physical and an Annual Physical Exam performed by a regular doctor or theyre trying to defraud people.
Took my money for dot. Passed everything, but then tells me my body mass is high and cant give me a dot card. Refused to give me a temporary card so I could follow up with primary for concerns, which is usually the standard from what I understand. Then says I could inquire from front desk about refund, which I knew they had no intention of refunding. I wont ever go back there again, and if you are a commercial driver, save your 90 dollars.
I was having an allergic reaction and was told that i had to go elsewhere because their credit card or debit card machine was down!!! I told the receptionist that i was getting worse and that she could send me bill. But NO I WAS TURNED AWAY!!! I was standing there for a good 15mins waiting for her to complete the payment which didnt even work. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!
This is the most unprofessional health facility I have ever been to I’ve been here twice both time prescribed medication that I didn’t not receive until calling so many time on one incident they told me they could not find the prescription the doctor left no note and I would have to be seen again. Also to which I never even received the courtesy of them at least acknowledge and apologizing for my inconvenience neither the doctor or front desk representative and in fact appeared as if I was bothering them
Went for ear stoppage. Prescribed otc medication. Followed instructions on box, and made follow-up visit today. Waited 20 minutes in waiting area, then I was called inside, asst. took bp. Then I waited. And waited. Fell asleep. Woke up and walked out. This place sucks.
I had a misconception of COVID-19 testing. The Nurses and Personnel were extraordinary, amicable and courteous. The nurse was gentle and the COVID19 test was painless and negative 😊 I encourage New Yorkers to go to Statcare for COVID19 test, it could save your life. BE WELL AND STAY SAFE!SINCERELY,RABBI LILLIAN VARGASNYS ASSEMBLY D 85

Took my baby here thinking she would be able to be seen since online it shows they see children after being asked her age and being asked whats wrong with her they denied to see her told me only certain doctors see children. Now what I dont understand is why was I asked all these questions about her if you wasnt going to see her. A waste of my time and they should have specifically stated online that not all doctors there see children. I wish I could have gave no stars

2021-12-22Line is around the corner. Picture does no justice. Says no waiting. They have a separate line for appointments- which does no justice. Unorganized. They make an appointment for me and my kids come in the doctor can’t see anyone under 13. Also on my vaccination car they spelled PFIZZER

2022-05-16Worse experience ever. Most of the stuff are rude. Only few were nice. My appointment was at 10 AM I wasn’t seen until 12:30PM just for physical annual. After I got my form signed, I wish never to go back there. It’s so disgusting and some of the front desk was disrespectful. Also, DON’T Get blood work test done there especially if you need it for school. They are taking so long for results to come back (I have been waiting more than 5 days and still not ready).

2022-06-17Wonderful place. Always come whenever I need. Very kind and considerate of me every time I come in of whatever issue I’m going grouch and even helped me originally with my job physical to get my job that I’ve now had for over a year now with the board of education. Very sweet people, great bedside manner, and they really do show kindness and consideration. Also if you are a hungry person like me, there is always a place to eat next door. These are the type of people that even as theirs closing if you really need help, they will stay late and help you. Appreciate this place so much and everyone working here. Always would recommend. I think it’s now called Noa/Nao medical now but it’s still a great urgent care, just different name….don’t know where the update is but maybe eventually. Thank you to everyone here for every time I come in and not judging me no matter what is going on in my life.

2022-06-08By far the best center, especially for a covid test, signed up online and only took 6 minutes. Receptionist was great, got called in 10 minutes later got my covid test and their initial email allows enrolling for online results. Dont think I spent more than an hour.

2022-01-08I do not recommend this clinic. I Arrived at the Bartow Mall clinic Bronx at 10:50 am for an 11 am appointed. There was a line of about 25 people outside. Several people I spoke to had 10 am a d 10:30 am appointments.I liked that I received several reminders via text of my appointment during the week and the day of my appointment. So I was surprised I couldnt be seen on time wheni spoketo the staff at the doorandsurprianddisappointed d disappointed

2022-06-06This used to be a great facility, but since Dr. Michael Ihemaguba has been there, this facility has gone downhill. This doctor did not care about my concerns. Both times I saw him he failed to treat my condition. My thyroid condition and now Covid. He’s terrible. Please replace him or add better doctors. What happened to the other great doctors. Please do an investigation on this doctor. He needs to be investigated.FYI: I just looked Dr Michael Ihemaguba up, he has malpractice issues. PEOPLE LOOK THIS DOCTOR UP AND CHOOSE TO GO ELSEWHERE FOR ANY TREATMENT OR FOR ANY URGENT CARE CONCERNS! I knew something wasn’t right with this doctor.

2020-12-21Though I was encouraged to register for an appointment, I arrived a few minutes early and I have had to wait almost 3+ hours to be called. There is no one ensuringing social distancing rules are enforced other than one nurse who stuck her head out to say, You shouldnt be standing so close.I am sure everyone one is trying their hardest but this office is mismanaged.
