The guys working there were so helpful and friendly and explained everything to me in a way I understood it and helped me make the best purchase. So happy I came here Great little shop. The shop doesnt look very big once you walk in, but there are lots of inventory in the back. If you need something, even if they dont have them.. they will order it for you to be picked up the next day. Thanks chris for my horns! My old ones were dying and it wouldve been dangerous on my road trip to ohio without one!
This is the ONLY I repeat ONLY auto parts store easily accessible from Lower Manhattan or Greenwich Village by public transportation. I kid you not. There used to be a Strauss auto parts store on East 14th Street, but it closed a few years ago. And no, hardware stores do not sell auto parts, even really basic stuff. Maybe they have some kind of antitrust agreement with the auto parts industry. The Justice Department needs to drop everything else and investigate. So this is it, baby. But really, it is not so bad. It is well stocked. Its prices are reasonable. And I found that the proprietor was perfectly courteous and helpful. The problem is that to get here from Manhattan by public transit (in case your car is disabled) you have to take the L and then transfer to the G and then walk a few blocks. However, you gotta do what you gotta do. There are other auto parts store in the vicinity but they are not close to any transit line. and cant beat this places prices Like i said, this is it, baby....... This is the BEST auto parts store in Brooklyn I called looking for eyelashes for my red V.W beetle named Ruby. They were very helpful and said they could get the eyelashes in the store in 3 short days! They even gave me different color options for the car eyelashes... black, silver even pink! the employees are also very friendly on the phone. especially the lady who answers the phone in the mornings she is so polite and professional I ❤️ this place . thanks will and Chris
Good staff very informal.. has a great customer service line and are very fast.. helped me a lot figuring out what was wrong with my car even tho that’s not their job lol .. awesome
If you need parts for your car especially Mopar parts this is the place. The salespeople are friendly and knowledgeable

2022-08-13Part not available in store and it wasnt updated online, if I didnt show up then it would have just showed pending (online order to pick up). Other than that staff was helpful

2021-04-14The staff here is the best. I needed a battery tested on a saturday . The store was busy and about to close, but chris still came out to test and help me. Afterward, he gave me the tools to change the battery and stayed open a little later to let me change it. Even advised on other stuff I thought I needed. Really good service. thank you

2020-12-12Nothing by good things to say about Peter at PM. I bought a rare and costly part for my mercedes from him via Craig’s List. I was nervous at first but everything checked out. The part came and Peter was a very easy man to do business with. Very good communication. Very trustworthy. 10/10 would do business again.

2018-03-02I live in the neighborhood and noticed that this store moved from its location from manhattan ave recently. I was having some difficulty charging the batteries of 3 work vans I use for my plumbing business. The vans have been sitting for some time So I took one of the batteries over to have it tested out. A sales person was assisting me. Initial test result showed the battery was dead. But then he recommended to leave it to charge on their Battery Charger for 45 minutes. The fast charge gave the battery a little juice . I was able to charge the battery overnight and the next morning, I put the battery in my van and The van started as if it was brand new the sales person even tested my battery and alternator a few days later all was good The salesperson could have easily told me that the battery was dead, and there is a good chance that I would have purchased a new one there. Its nice to know that there are courteous, honest people working at this auto part store. If it was any other store or a mechanic shop, chances are that I would be out $150 for a new battery I never needed. Im going to support this local branch and buy all my auto supplies from them and I recommend others to do the same.
