I had a slight problem W anorder but it was very minor and doesnt take away from the excellent service from the staff who are very helpful and welcoming. Prices are good as well as the selection they have. Donna, the Owner is a great person and super nice and helpful.. Store also has financing with only like $50 down which you can get W no credit check, however, you do need an active checking account that you recieve direct deposits in..
Very poor customer service from Donna & Allen. You dont get a call to notify you of changes in delivery of your order, they cant keep to their commitments. They schedule deliveries without checking with the customer what time is convenient, after missing their deadline. Best part is when they dont tell you that the assembled furniture you purchased actually needs screws to connect it together, screws you need to purchase by the way. If you want to support a local business easier to go to Jays on the next street over, better prices, better service.
I had such a positive customer experience several weeks ago. My housemate and I had recently moved from Australia and needed to furnish our apartment. Victor and Matt were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and ensured that we got the best price on all items purchased. I had visited several other stores prior and none of them even compared. I am so happy with the outcome, furniture looks great and delivery was prompt.
Great place to find some fine and good quality furnitures. This place has friendly services and affordable, quality goods. We had a great experience purchasing dressers and got them last weekend. They are beautiful and well-made, we LOVE it! The delivery was also managed well, have nothing to complain! Will definitely go there again and highly recommend it!
My shopping experience at the Nassau Furniture store was amazing. The sales people were so helpful with helping me pick out my furniture for my new house. The delivery was on time and the furniture was perfect. I am so happy I shopped there. Its a very pleasant shopping environment where I would definitely recommend to all of my friends and family. My wife and I love the living room furniture from Nassau Furniture and Mattress. We visited about a week ago, and bought a table and chairs along with a matching rug, with help from their awesome (not pushy) sales staff. The style, price, functionality, and quality are great. Well be coming back in the following weeks to see you all again!
Nassau is my favorite furniture store! Most of our furniture is from Nassau, and I go back there whenever I need something new for the house. We have recently purchased some lovely outdoor furniture for our patio. Just another pleasant experience and great customer service from Donna. Definitely check it out!
Worst place ever !! My girlfriend purchased a bed from this place 4 months ago !. And still waiting for her bed. She went 2 months ago asking for her money back and they said that they couldn’t give her money back that they would deliver her bed in a month. But after two months nothing happened. We asked for her money and NOTHING! Worst place ever ! And my girlfriend is too nice that she keeps waiting on it. They do not even deserve an star !
Thank you Nassau for helping us design our dining room! We purchased a beautiful dining table with chairs, a matching rug and some knick knacks to spruce the place up. Great quality and designs. The staff was very pleasant and friendly, gave us lots of advice and helped us select the best products within our budget. We will definitely go back soon!

Last weekend I was out furniture shopping and I stumbled upon this gem in Hempstead. Donna was the warmest person and made me feel comfortable and taken care of the minute I stepped into the store. She found me a desk that fit my apartment, my style preferences, AND my budget - a win all around! If you need furniture, definitely check these guys out!
There are some good and not so good things I experienced with this furniture store. First, Allen the sales guy was very nice to my husband and I. They had a lot of nice choices and pretty good prices. Allen listened to what we were looking for and a price range and helped us pick out a beautiful bedroom set! Just what I wanted! Unfortunately, on the negative aspect, it took about a week before we heard anything from them about our delivery (I dont know if this is good or bad because Ive never really dealt with delivery of furniture before. They spoke with my husband the evening before and said wed be the first delivery at 7 am. The delivery guys didnt come until 8:15 am no one called to let us know they would be late or if there was a problem. I couldnt do a full check of our set because I was running late for work and when I came home, there were some scratches on the dresser. The delivery guys made a major mess in our bedroom and they left all the boxes on the side of our house. I called and spoke with Allen about the situation and he said he told us about them leaving the boxes on the side of the house.... which he didnt! He never apologized for the guys running late, all he was concerned about was getting a good review. Then to top everything off, our headboard separated from the bed and when my husband went to check why.... the holes for the screws didnt match up, it seemed as if the guy putting it together, lifted it to fit and it was never leveled. So we had to try and make it even so that it would tear/rip. So I started off happy but ended not so much, the delivery guys werent too good MOSTLY the one putting the bed together and the non follow and lack of care when we followed up that was displayed was not good either. So, no I wouldnt use them again and I wouldnt recommend them to my family or friends.
I found Nassau online when I was looking for local places with discounted furniture. Their website shows that they have a good selection of furniture on display, so I wanted to check it out in person. I needed a couch, and although they have a lot of really nice high quality couches, I just needed a standard good couch. Joe helped me that day. We hit it off--what a great guy--and he was nice enough to waive the shipping charges. Overall, I was very happy with the quality and price in the end. Will be back.
I and my husband visited around 4-5 places to buy furniture for our apartment. But, finally we found this place on behalf of awesome google reviews. I really thankful to google as they introduced such a place where we can read reviews and can understand how happy customer are. And we are very happy to place order here. They also offered some discount. Thanks again!!!
1- Thank you Danny for ensuring that my order got here before thanksgiving.2-The delivery personnel could use more appropriate clothing. Low pants,underwear showing .... is not acceptable for any company. It does not create a professional image and it takes away from the companys credibility. Moreover, training on customer service and manners is overdue. Leaving trash in the house, regardless of how big the box is is not acceptable.3- Not calling the customer one day before or at least 4 hours before delivery is also not acceptable. Meetings have to be rescheduled,appointments cancelled..customers have lives and jobs to attend. Consideration can create more customers.4- A note on the website in regards to delivery and timelines specially if the product is not in stock is overdue.5- the furniture is of good quality, Danny is a hardworking person.6- Waiting almost 3 months for it too arrive is not acceptable by any means necessary.7- The company has great potential and quality furniture but training is extremely necessary.
I purchase a chest from Nassau furniture and the chest was delivered broken I called them and they told me to send them pictures online. Two days later I called to check on the status the manager told me it takes two weeks for them to get back and till this day I’m still waiting for there call. Don’t go here they will steal your money.
I went to many furniture stores in the area of Nassau NY. This store had a really large selection and the staff was great. They helped me find the right piece and had it delivered within the time they promised. The price was even close to what I found online.Great store, really excellent staff..
Found this site online and what a lucky find it was. Donna is a wounderful person, knowledgeable and so helpfull. She helped me find a recliner for my ill brother to fill all his needs. The furniture is GOOD quality, GREAT priced, delivered VERY fast and my brother LOVES his chair. Donna and the other staff are so friendly and helpfull. I highly recommend this establishment, go here before you look anywhere else, they will have or get what you need. Look no further then then naussau furniture. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. :)
I have been shopping at Nassau furniture for many many years now all my furniture is from there and I have no faults or complain customer service was alway great it’s a blessing to shop there !!! Especially customer service like donna !! I recommend friends they love Donna for the service that She give personality good attitude always laughing she will not let you leave without feeling satisfied with your purchase she try everything to work out the best way she can 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Non-existent merchandise. I was here a few weeks ago and the employees were straight chillin 😆 when I asked the name of a bedroom set the big man in the back told me there were no names, was I trying to look it up on the internet because I couldnt find it. 🤣 I laughed inside and headed towards the exit... its 2021 man. He was quite interesting and I felt out of place.
In search for Kitchen Chairs I visited Nassau Furniture and Mattress Store on December 29, 2015 after visiting some of the other larger chain stores including Raymour & Flanigan(Garden City), Ashley Furniture (Carle Place), Bobs (Carle Place) and even Big Lots (Carle Place). I was most pleased with the selection of chairs at Nassau furniture and Ashley Furniture. Nassau Furniture and Mattress actually sells authentic Ashley Furniture items, just at a more reasonable price. The chairs that I selected were $121 at the actual Ashley Furniture Store in Carle Place; however, they were $86 at Nassau Furniture and Mattress in Hempstead (with the same manufacturers warranty.) I AM EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH MY PURCHASE!!! The Chairs are solid wood with upholstered leather cushions. The cushions feel firm when you sit on them and the entire chair feels sturdy unlike the chairs at Raymour & Flanigan and Bob.s I found the chairs and Raymour & Flanigan and Bobs to feel flimsy and hollow as soon as I sat on them and not as sturdy. The salesperson who assisted me at Nassau Furniture and Mattress was Alan. He was patient, pleasant and had a sense of humor which made him a pleasure to work with. As soon as my chairs arrived in the store I was contacted. They have a delivery option; however, I opted to pick the chairs up. Alan assembled the chairs for me, and loaded all of the chairs into my SUV. I offered him a tip, but he declined to accept. Overall, I had a 5 star experience. ****Do not get discouraged by the location of the store or the metered parking. The staff are not dressed in suits and ties, but honestly they dont have to in order to be good sales people. The quality of the merchandise and the actual selling experience is what matters most. Again, I was extremely pleased! I was able to save $140 by shopping there so it was worth it and I will definitely shop there in the future!
Worst customer service I have seen in years! Nassau Furniture of Hempstead did not deliver the items as indicated at time of purchase (2 weeks), I purchased the items on May 24th; items were delivered June 28th, after I repeatedly called the furniture store for information. Al (delivery coordinator, manager, owner - he wears many hats, all for his convenience), stated for my inconvenience they would assemble the items, never wrote them on the order form for his delivery men to be aware. My furniture was thrown, as if it were garbage. Assembly did not take place, Al did not contact me on Sunday (6/30) as his staff assured me he would. I contacted Al Monday (7/1) and his nonchalant attitude and complete dismay towards his customers is despicable. He will not find any other means to appease my discontentment, because he does not value the customers. Had I known this business BBB rating was an F, along with the other negative reviews I would not have purchased anything from this establishment.Its truly saddening because some of the staff at the store are very friendly and seem to demonstrate empathy towards their customers. Unfortunately, their leader into demise - Al seems to be the only individual a dissatisfied customer can speak with;I truly hope everyone realizes the type of business this is, they do not commit to customers, nor do they try to resolve customer complaints to maintain a good clientele.Customers beware!!!
Danny, who is the gentleman who helped me, was amazing! Very nice, very patient with me. Helped me pick out the best things that I needed for my room. And he was always ready to answer any questions or concerns I had!I would most DEFINITELY recommend the store to anyone else!!!Manoucheka
Very unprofessional customer service. Donna the apparent operator of shipping/deliveries apparently called my cell during work. After work, I see the missed call, but because no one LEFT A MESSAGE I assumed that they would call back, if important. Since she did not receive a response from my first contact number (nor left a message) she says she contacted the second number that I gave and got a response from a gentleman (my brother). She told him that the delivery will be made on Monday (11/18/13). My brother tells me that he kept getting missed calls during work from various unrecognized numbers, and no one LEAVING MESSAGES. I also received a call from an unrecognized number that same day, and what I thought was a voicemail was actually just very loud music in the background (Im assuming was the truck drivers) When the number called my brother again, he was able to answer and it was the truck driver saying he was out front of my house with the delivery (Thursday, 11/15/13) and that we would have to reschedule for another delivery. ANY company who conducts business regularly should ALWAYS leave messages, its a SIMPLE FACT and pure, basic COMMON SENSE. Some kind of backwards, unprofessional protocol Donna is working with. She refused to admit fault and did not even offer the slightest apology, being a so called professional in her position for 10+ years This will be the 1ST AND LAST TIME I conduct business with this Hempstead location. By the way, the second star is for Christina who was very pleasant in helping me with my selection.
This is the most unorganized company I have ever dealt with! First they tell me they HAVE to deliver my furniture Thursday between 1 and 5 even though it was inconvenient for me- the customer who is paying 200 for delivery charges. So I tell the woman Donna who handles the deliveries that I can t be there until 3. She says- that they will just do my delivery last. So I rush home from work to be there by 3, expecting them to come between 3 and 5. They didn t show up until 8! No phone call. I tried calling twice just to make sure they didn t come before 3 and no one was able to give me an answer. Then when they get there, there was a missing piece- I ordered 2 bookcases and they only showed up with one. I look at the order form - which is just a piece of paper written in sloppy handwriting- that would be hard for anyone to decipher. Now they tell me the delivery of the bookcase has to be in the morning. I tell them- no you can come at night since you messed up you should work around my schedule. And the woman Donna said they don t do deliveries at night yet somehow they showed up at my house at 8pm on Thursday! She said all of the deliveries were 3 hours behind that day How is this an acceptable excuse? I understand that things happen but you could at least call your customers who are waiting for their deliveries to give them a heads up, and maybe a credit for the inconvenience. This is my first and last time ordering from this company.
Nothing went right.... 3 Yr.UPDATE!!......I should have stayed in the room when they assembled my bedroom furniture! Firstly, it did not arrive when they promised it would, Secondly, they sent the wrong area rug, Thirdly the drawer on the dresser was damaged!! The extra long screws they used are sticking out of the bedframe in reverse damaging the paint on the wall, The frame is attached only on one side of the headboard leaving the other side unattached because it didnt line up to the frame!! Now I have to figure out how to correct this MESS theyve made. Im not gonna bother with this store again as it is some years later. I always wondered why the bed seemed crooked and the headboard moved. I will NOT be doing business with them again!!
Poor service, Ill never use again. Small business always want business but cant handle it. Armando broke my mirror in my hallway and laid it on the couch. He would of never said anything about it until I complained. I blame myself, Ill never buy from Nassau furniture and mattress. Lesson well learned
I purchased a living room set which was delivered damaged. It took several calls to even receive a response from a manager. Upon finally receiving a call from the manager, I was given a date for the repair and told they wioukd be at my home some time in the afternoon. The day came and went with no show no call from the store. I called in the evening and was told one lie after another by the manager and then was finally told that people have things to do which is why he didn’t show as if they were doing me a favor. She then lied again and said that they were in their way even though it was 7:30 pm. Of course they never showed. I asked repeatedly over this 2 week ordeal to speak to the owner and the manger refused. I will be filing a formal complaint since the store refuses to resolve the issue and the manager is impossible to deal with
Ive been at this place once, its very nice looking and they have some decent prices as well. I bought some stuff from there, and i got it for a good price, i can recommend checking out the place, as it has potential, and i will for sure visit this place once or twice each month. Regards, phil.
Those furniture looks ok on the outside,The stuff bought from them one year ago are already bad. The mattress claimed to be firm are now have a sink in the middle. The frame I got there is already squeaky. Shame on you. The sneaky Jxxxxx sales person, you are snake oil salesman. Shameless Trolls on here.
It is a lousy place they do not deliver the products on time and when they do deliver them... they deliver the wrong one and they are lousy at answering they take up to a year to deliver the product and they say that everyone is waiting like this because of the pandemic when the pandemic is over but it seems that it is in their minds and I do not recommend it at all forget about that place and do not see it the truth is I am disappointed in that place they should close it better
Mal servicio no escuchan a los clientes no dan el producto q uno pide cuando uno llama cortan las llamadas o no atienden cobran caros los productos y los mandan defectuoso o equivocado y no se hacen responsables no merecen ni una estrella pero si uno no la pone no puede opinar no xq no se merece ni ser reconocido este lugar…es un pésimo lugar no lo recomiendo a nadie

2021-12-22The poorest customer service ever!. They state they are too busy to return calls as they have a lot of shoppers. We called them while we were parked outside their store and there was zero shoppers in the store. The manager is not much of a manager and just pampers you if she decides to talk to you. Go elsewhere please. no stars

2021-11-21Hi never go here. They very bad people, they steal my money, we order some pieces of furniture many months ago and they delivered two of the four pieces and both were bad. The other two they still haven’t delivered we went to the store many times and they say someone is going to come to our house to see and no one ever came. They don’t pick up calls either. Our defective items haven’t been replaced and it’s been months. Plz don’t go here and they say the manager isn’t here or they say someone will come home. Not good at all

We relocated and needed to furnish our apartment. My boyfriend and I went to the store and Donna helped us quickly select and match all our furniture. She is incredibly friendly and genuine. 2021-05-10The manager of this place is very unprofessional, she sold me two couches and said I would receive the second couch in two weeks and I have yet to receive my item. I purchased both couches in March, it’s now May! She should have never pushed the sale if I wasn’t going to receive my item when told. Also ordered a table and a button on the stools broke off. I sent pictures to the email and still no response about that matter! They are HORRIBLE

2019-06-13This is the right store, if you are looking for both high quality and affordable furniture! I just fell in love with this store. There are so many beautiful and fine products. I adore our new love seat, it’s very stylish and comfortable. We also bought a rug for our living room, which is beautiful and soft. I wish all stores had such amazing customer service. These guys are truly customer-oriented. Highly recommended!
