Saw the debt clock in person in NYC; thats a BIG number. Not sure how we & other countries operate on so much debt, but one day people will be talking about it. In the meantime, your savings is in digital & paper IOUs from the government.

Using the National Debt Clock as part of a research project about the federal budget deficit. Every time I check the clock I have to go back into my essay and change the numbers because they keep increasing. Eventually I should just stop checking.
This is very alarming, Obama made 11 Trillion almost 12, in debts, more than all other previous presidents combined, he also put 14 Million more people on Welfare, including illegals, give money to known radical Muslim countries and organizations, looks like he knows his priorities...and sadly its not to make the life of Americans better.

2017-03-31I came to know about this clock after a documentary called I.O.U.S.A released in 2008. From 2012 to 2017 (5 years) it has increased more than 4 trillon dollars.

2017-06-15I see the National Debt more as an individual problem. It is your responsibility to pay off your debts and manage your money properly. Your can live a good life with a half decent job with good credit and very little debt. Kind of funny because it took me until my early 30s to realize this.

2016-10-05Debt is a bad thing until you realize that someone borrowed the money to write your paycheck. Debt will continue to go up forever or the economy will collapse. Modern capitalism is debt. Who better to lean it against than Uncle Sam?

2017-06-20They cant pay the debt off just by printing money because we dont have gold to back it up. Yes people, gold is still a currency. By printing more money than we have gold to back it up the money becomes worthless. In other names, we cant counterfeit money as a nation and get away with it. The amount of debt we are in basically proves that we will never get out of it.. Possibly EVER.

2017-05-10The Government cant just print money to pay the debt because its not governments who print/issue money - its the federal reserve the fed - and that is a PRIVATE BANK owned by private people, who do NOT take any orders from the US government. The president has the ability to appoint one member onto the feds board of directors... did anyone ever mention the fed print (ie type money into existence) then LOAN this made up money to the US government, and then Uncle Sam charge citizens tax, to pay the interest... on money that was just typed up a few years before... Good scheme if you can get in on it - central banks - you either love em (like the 0.00001% do) or they deflate your purchasing power of wealth so quick, that americans are now as poor as they were in the 70s and heading downhill rapidly (as is everywhere else)

2017-09-20I rate the Emoji move a 5/5 if i could i would rate it a 6/5 but i can not, so i have to write this review instead. the emoji movie is one if not the best action movie of all time . Although the two main characters had feelings for each other they never once kissed or anything like that. I knew the moment i walked in to outback steak house i would love the food there. the steak there is good but the salad was the best part of my experience there. i also really love how McDonalds has a play place for my doggies and kitties that way i do not have to leave them home while i go out to the get some food from Burger king.
