I normally go in person for special occasions to get flowers. I had a pleasant experience with the 1 time I had a delivery which prompted this review. I thought the arrangement was great and the size of the roses were impressive. I ordered it in the afternoon and they arrived soon after my wife came home just before 6p. Only 4 stars because it is a little pricey, but for the service and quality of the flowers Id give 5 stars.
The funeral flowers Trish and her co-workers designed to be sent from our church were absolutely gorgeous. The arrangement was so full, beautiful colors and much better than the catalogue representation.I also appreciated the kind service Ive received and the prompt attention to our needs.I highly recommend this local florist. Its nice to know theyre in our neighborhood.
Just WOW! This little local flower shop in the Smithtown/Holbrook/Stony Brook area really knows how to make your reception ballroom look stunning! As soon as we sat down with Nicole, we told her our vision and she was SO passionate about bringing our idea to life! We absolutely loved working with her! She is a very professional, knowledgable and talented florist with phenomenal modern taste - you wont find easily anywhere else! She will tell you what looks good and what not & thats so important if you are still deciding on the last thousand details a Bride has to decide on last month: bouquet flowers,colours, flowers for the cake, etc. - she helps with everything. All centerpieces for my sister-in-laws Indian American wedding reception looked drop-dead gorgeous! The evening of the reception we walked into the ballroom & it was like we walked into a fairytale! Every single centerpiece was executed to PERFECTION and we were blown away by all the beautiful fresh flowers everywhere & candle light that filled up the room! She goes way out of her way to make her clients happy and we cant thank Nicole and her team enough for making it such a beautiful event for us and our family to cherish forever. Thank you! PS: Even all of our guest are still talking months later about how beautiful the decor was at our event.
Jeanne did a wonderful job customizing arrangements for a large corporate event my company recently held. Her price was more than fair and the centerpieces were lovely. I would highly recommend this local florist for any floral need.
It was an absolute pleasure working with this florist! Jeannie went above and beyond to fulfill every request for my parents surprise 50th anniversary party - right down to the absolutely beautiful corsage she put together for my mom to wear for this special occasion. Even though all planning was done from out of state, it was like I was right there in the store going over every little detail with her. She truly went out of her way to make this event extra special for us!I would DEFINITELY recommend her services to anyone looking for balloons and/or flowers for their special event. In my experience, I have to say that her professionalism and attention to every detail immaginable is unmatched.
My wedding flowers were GORGEOUS!! They made me two purple and blue hydrangea bouquets, a corsage and four boutonnières, and they were worth every penny! The flowers lasted for a really long time afterwards, as well! Thank you so much!!
The woman who assisted me was very nice. She asked what colors I was looking for, but that was about it. She wrapped the very simple looking bouquet before showing it to me. I commented that there was only 1 rose in the bouquet, and she said well theres other flowers, pointed them out, and continued to ring me up. It was a pretty sad looking bouquet for $25. The least she could have done was throw in another rose. Ive bought much nicer bouquets at grocery stores for less money. Unfortunately I will not be buying flowers here again.
I am extremely disappointed with this flower shop and I strongly suggest everyone stays away. They were doing the flowers for our wedding at Villa Lombardis and problems started 3 months before the wedding. My wife and I live in Florida so we had little time to visit the shop, but she scheduled an appointment when she was home for her bridal shower to have a look at what they were going to do and approve the centerpieces. So she shows up and the appointment was not in their book and they had to send her away because the owner was not there. So she wasted time and money getting there. Nicole, the owner/person in charge called and apologized and being that were out of state, we foolishly decided to stay with them as my wife had no time to go elsewhere.My wifes bouquet was much smaller than the bridesmaids even though that was not discussed with us prior, we would have paid more for it to be bigger! And it was wrapped with the wrong color ribbon. We had showed Nicole a picture of exactly what my wife wanted and she said Okay thats about 30 Calla Lillies, so we agreed, how were we supposed to know 30 would be small? 30 little flowers for $175 seems extremely expensive as well.On the day of the wedding, they were an hour late delivering the bouquets and boutonnieres, which was extremely stress inducing as they arrived after myself (the groom) and the groomsmen were already on our way to the church. My wife called when she received her bouquet to ask why it was so small and Nicole offered no apologies whatsoever.Prior to the wedding we went again to approve the centerpieces. We asked for a few minor changes, one specifically being to not use a pink flower that was in it. The day of the wedding, those pink flowers were still in the centerpieces even though we had discussed it and Nicole agreed to change them out for something purple (our color). Also, they delivered the centerpieces at the last minute, DURING COCKTAIL HOUR, so when we saw the mistake it was too late for them to come back and potentially fix it.At the appointment a few days before the wedding we were promised water in the vases of the centerpieces with purple lights inside to give a purple glow. There were no lights at all in the centerpieces, although there was water...Going back to that appointment before the wedding, they were completely unprepared for it even though they told us when to come. We got there and had to sit and wait while Nicole prepared the centerpiece for 15 minutes.DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!! They will make promises, fail to deliver, and offer no apologies because they already have your money.
Most beautiful flowers I have seen in a long time. Awesome people who helped with everything i needed. Our wedding was talked about more for the flowers than anything. These girls went out of their way to help us and treated us amazing.. Thank You So Much!!! I recommend them highly!!

Ordered a plant as an anniversary gift. It was never received and no notification from Natures Design Group. Called and they said they had no order and called me rude for being upset my daughter didnt receive the arrangement!! Avoid this business as any issues will be the customers fault.

These people are absolutly horrible! I called to have flowers delived to a funeral and although they were delivered there was no card telling the home who they went to so the family never got them. I called several times trying to get this cleared up and they just continued to tell me that it wasnt their fault and there was a name on them when they left the shop. I said well its very possible that the card fell off during route, NO NO it didnt my employees are reasponsible she continued to shout to me. I hope that someone day they will learn some customer service skills and how to make things right or they just go out of buisness. I now have to go thru the hassel of disputing this with my credit card company but at least I will get my money back from these disgusting excuses for buisness owners.

I never write a review but this is my 7th time I had gotten flowers for my girlfriend and for special occasions, the owner and staff are great .....family owned business.... Every Arrangement that I ever got It has always exceeded my expectation.. thank u guys so much ... you are my go to Florist!!!

2022-05-15Nicole sat with my sister and I to plan the floral arrangements for my mothers funeral. Her compassion and design experience were fantastic. Since my mother wore a certain perfume for many years, Nicole was inspired to create a perfume bottle made from flowers with the insignia of the perfume. It came out absolutely beautiful and it was a one-of-a-kind piece.Everything was set up at the funeral home as Nicole said it was going to be and it all exceeded our Families expectations.I have been patronizing this florist for many years and they treated me and my family like their own family members.We are very grateful for everything that Natures floral design has done in our time of need and I couldn’t possibly think of going anywhere else for all our flowers in the good times and in the bad.Thank you Tricia, staff and especially Nicole.Lenore Berlingieri and family

2022-04-16I needed a small arrangement for my Mother’s burial. I went in and the owner was so helpful. When I called later that night to change the order, she double the size of my arrangement, it was STUNNING. It turned out to be the perfect size spray for her casket. I wasn’t able to thank you in person, but you really did a beautiful job. I was not mentally there that day, and you comforted me and helped me make the right decision.It was all so greatly appreciated!

2022-06-08I ordered a corsage for my daughter’s prom. The item I was given was NOTHING like what I wanted. I even gave this woman a photo from their own website. When I complained, another woman actually had the audacity to argue with me about color. Regardless of the fact that it doesn’t match her dress. Now, my daughter has tears in her eyes and I’m furious! This is NOT how you practice good business!

2020-08-15Find a different place to order flowers from ! I ordered flowers for a family member who is very ill. The ones that I selected and the ones that were delivered is not at all anything that I paid for. They sent a few flowers and filled it with greenery and babies breath to fill in a vase that was not even selected . Where are all of the flowers and where is the basket? We feel very cheated and have been upset as there is nothing that can be done about it. Here is the photos .How would you feel? Very poor service that takes full advantage of your hard earned money.

2019-01-03I first used Natures Design Group to send a bouquet to my mother for Mothers Day, which came out better than the photo, the flowers were gorgeous. So I decided to use them for my wedding and they exceeded my expectations once again. The centerpieces were just stunning, my bouquet was exactly like the photo I gave them and they decorated our wedding cake in the most beautiful way! Their prices are so reasonable and they really work with you until you are satisfied. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them for every floral need! Thanks Jeanne and gang!!

2021-01-11Sorry, I know theses are tough times but a simple flower delivery went wrong and wasnt corrected. Long story short... I stopped at my parents house, saw flowers at the door, opened card without glasses and then realized I didnt know who sent them and then saw they were addressed to someone else. Sounds simple but I had just lost my Dad, they seemed appropriate. The florists information was not on the card or envelope. I looked up the address so that I could deliver them myself. The address didnt exist. Days later I received a call from the person who purchased the flowers hoping they were delivered to me. I explained what I happened, and I ended up delivering opened (used) flowers to another family that just lost a loved one. The purchaser contacted me due to the uncaring response from Natures Design. I am not one to write a negative review but I tried contacting them and no one answers the phone and there isnt a voice message system.

2021-02-15It was a pleasure working with Nicole and the girls on my daughters wedding. The flowers were fine quality and designed exactly the way my daughter envisioned. Flowers were delivered on time which was a big worry of my daughters. Thank you ladies from the bottom of my heart.

2016-02-05Natures Design Group completely exceeded my expectations for my wedding flowers! Jeanne was wonderful to work with. She was able to see my vision and then make it even more beautiful than I imagined. I was absolutely blown away by them! Even my photographer mentioned that they were the nicest wedding flowers he saw all season. Truly made the entire color scheme of the wedding come together.On top of how gorgeous the flowers were, the price was the most reasonable that we received by far.
