Standard well to do health food store. Wide aisles, good selection, lots of local produce, they have a kitchen and juice bar that was closed when I was there. $$$ They do Not believe in a cheap sandwich! Staff was friendly and helpful, checkout was fast.
It can be a challenge trying to find vegan options (such as vegan cheeses and dressings) and Natures Pantry always has what I need. They even have vegan pizza (that was delicious). They have a good assortment of fresh, organic fruits and vegetables. They also have a great variety of cruelty-free, organic home and lifestyle products.
Always shop here, love the bulk bins! Also love the variety of products ranging from local produce, to vegan, to even beauty and health! My mom recently started to shop here and she loves the bulk bins as much as I do, even saying to me that everything is fresh (not stale) and that they do not have an over abundance of produce, so it is always replaced and literally, farm fresh.
Great nature/alternative health store with all of the basic staples for vegetarians/vegans. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. If you need help finding a certain item, they wont hesitate to help you find it.
They do a good job of keeping prices as low as possible and run lots of sales. its more expensive than normal grocery but thats because everything is better quality so you get what you pay for. amazing hot bar, friendly employees, great selection. only issues seem to be with the building as each summer it seems like half the stores refrigerators are broken. hopefully wont happen this summer!
Idk what the inside of the store is like but I logged on to their website to look for keto products availability and prices but there is NO SEARCH BAR. That seems to be a basic option that they are missing.
A great selection of everything we need for our non-GMO vegetarian eating. The bulk selection is huge and FANTASTIC! There is a gorgeous bulk tea selection as well, and a nice health and wellness section. Its the first place we go when were here visiting family. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
They have great healthy selections. The food is fresh, and their Deli has a lot of options to include gluten free. The employees treat you like family. The prices are very competitive.

This is more than a store, it really is a lifestyle. This place is so close to my house that I stop in all the time - it actually makes you go, OH, yeah - I should be eating more organic produce! And look at the awesome selection of fair trade coffee beans...oooh homemade soup, and yes, Im going to try the recycled, organic toilet paper because - well I have to start saving the planet right now!! But seriously, they have everything you need and I can spend an hour just browsing eco-friendly lotions + soaps! And, to top it off, all employees are extremely friendly and helpful.
I love this place. From the moment I walk in I feel better. They have a great selection of products which are reasonably priced for the most part. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I love the juice bar and the bulk bins. I try to shop here as often as I can.
We love Nature’s Pantry! Great selection of vitamins, probiotics, and other natural/organic products that are hard to find elsewhere. They sometimes have coupons in the coupon book that comes in the mail every few months, so that’s definitely appreciated as we all know that better quality foods tend to be a little pricier!
Great place, full of good things. The hot food is very good, but needs to be better monitored. Sometimes the soups are crusted over because the lids were not put back on fully, and air get in and dries the contents. Seems no one stirs it occasionally to keep it looking fresh.. Yuk.

New favorite place for healthy food and organic products. Wider selection and better prices than Mother Earths or any organic section of any of the local grocery stores. They have everything from organic baby products to produce to frozen foods and more. Will certainly shop there regularly.
Have always loved Natures Pantry and their expansion has only made it better. Full size natural grocery store/supermarket with organic produce, bulk products, spices & coffees, grind your own nut butters as well as vegetarian, vegan & gluten free products & as well as daily prepared hot & cold foods, salad bar & deli. Everything Ive tried, whether it be with meat, vegetarian or vegan from the food bar (pay by the pound) has been yummy & full of flavor. Nice gluten free baked goods, full line of frozen & cold items, dairy & non dairy. Kombucha bar to fill your own (purchase there) jug or bottle.Full lines of vitamins, supplements, powdered nutrition, homeopathic remedies, essential oils, cosmetics, health and beauty, baby care, natural pet care, home care & cleaning products. Staff is courteous & knowledgeable. As with most healthy alternatives to your local supermarket it is more pricey, but not out of line or even cheaper than the big name health food supermarkets. Love this place. Mostly shop at the New Windsor location.
This store is fantastic i shop here so much. They have such a wonderful slection of items. The store has so many VEGAN options its like heaven lol. But there is also a deli which also has a case of goodies that are 100% vegan made they even serve hot foods on certen days that can be vegan including Delicious soups!!!! And hey if your also a lover of ice cream and cant find non dairy options they have a whole selection to choose from. The store really is great i always find something new to try from vegan candy bars to awsome vegan chesses. I could go on and on but really go check it out youll find what you like.And final extra note cause i know many people maybe on the hunt they have multiple BEYOND MEAT products!!!!!!
Consistently excellent selection of quality, organic produce and foods, with several local options. Four types of kombucha on tap to fill up your growler or grab a cup to go. Amazing bulk section of grains, beans, peas, nuts & seeds, granolas, spices, coffees, and teas. Full range of eco-friendly supplies for the washroom & home. Good sized vitamin and supplement wellness section, including cosmetics, essential oils, and perfumes. They have a hot bar, salad bar, coffee & tea station, and a smoothie & juice bar! Their deli offers made to order sandwiches and wraps and is fully stocked with (meats&cheeses) several mouth-watering sides made with vegan and/ or gluten free ingredients. The store and restroom are well kept, and there is always a refreshingly unique staff member around if assistance is needed. Though I wish they were closer, Im so grateful theyre just 25 minutes away!
Natures pantry has remained a staple provider of vegan, vegetarian, gf and organic products in Orange county for many years. Their stock continues to grow and stay current with new merchandise added weekly. My vegan family shops there several times a week and we always find new things to try each time.
Great community health food & grocery store! A little pricey, but hey, its your health and its cheaper than the Drs offices! Wide selection of BOBS REDMILL products Ive ever seen, but ck exp.dates. Nice beauty and vitamin selections....lots of specialty items you cant find in regular supermarkets, which sets them apart from other stores...convenient location..Im going back for sure!

So disappointed during my last visit. I attempted to order a sandwich from the deli over the phone during my lunch break to pick it up. First they left me on hold for a really long time before a person answered, and the woman who answered the phone had no social skills at all whatsoever. She became irate because I was asking for wheatless gluten free bread, giving me a really nasty attitude. After all it is a health food store.if I wanted a regular sandwich I could have just called any old deli. This is not the first time that I received poor service at the deli. Certain employees just like to hang out and talk a lot to each other about their personal lives, instead of focusing on their work. I did complain to the manager and they comped me with a gift card to use the next time I come back into the store. I dont know when that will be.
I love this place more than Whole Foods. They have every product I like for celiacs. Great produce and dairy section.

I travel 45 minutes for the fresh produce. They have a wonderful selection of organic goods. Lately I have been finding that they are under stocked and i hope this does not continue.
Will no longer be patronizing here! This place is overpriced, FILTHY, and the rude staff have no qualms about harassing their customers over masks. Thankfully, there are many other local establishments to shop at!
They are an amazing store with lots of different products ( including gluten free ) but a little pricey on some things and the staff are always ready to give you help and information and a couple will let you know how the products have affected their lives as well ... overall very awesome
Natures Pantry is absolutely the best health food store in the area. The people that work there are very nice and helpful. If they dont carry an item, they will get it for you if it is possible.

Called New Windsor location yesterday to inquire about hours today and was told theyll open at 9am. This morning the store was closed at 9:10 am and when I called I was told that theyll will open at 10am tentatively. I understand and appreciate special circumstances, yet the store couldve communicated better, perhaps using the website?
Loose Nuts, grains, candy very fresh and reasonably priced. Deli has really good and fresh items and salad bar. Veggies and health related products are too expensive.
Excellent all purpose health food store. Fill line of all grocery items fresh and frozen. Deli department with take out. All ty press and brands of supplements. In short a one stop shop.
My husband bought some fresh vanilla beans from there for me , the place is always clean and very well maintained, and when he got home the vanilla beans were so fragrant and spelt the house up like a vanilla valley
Pretty disappointed in pricing. I asked them to price match a legitemet site because they are severely over priced on a supplement and it was not even a consideration. I get that you need to make a profit but youre over$10more than competitors. I bought it because i needed it, but i only got a 60day supply for 45 Plus tax when i found a 90day supply for$39and free shipping no tax. You lost my business today.
This place is good for finding speciality products, but the scientific inaccuracy and propaganda is not likeable. Unsound poster about the bad consequences of GMOs flood the store and products. I enjoy some of the products as there is a wide variety of them, but the prices are very high. I personally could notnafford to do the entirety of my food shopping here.
I am giving this store a rating of 2 not because the sales people are not nice and helpful but because after being helped with picking out a multi-vitamin for my children I found out that the vitamin I purchased is actually # 6 on the FDAs list of vitamins containing LEAD! This information was of course NOT listed in the ingredients on the vitamin box. ONce I found this out only a week later, I called the store and explained my concern asking politely for a refund or even store credit. I was told NO because I did not have the original store receipt however I do have proof of the purchase on my credit card and this still was not enough proof for the manager of the store.I am just very disappointed in this store for not only carrying a vitamin that I entrusted to be safe for my children but the way that they handled this issue when I raised concern with them. This is supposed to be a health food store not a place you would think to find dangerous products,I am now forced to dispute this charge on my credit card company and I hope that this store does the right thing. The money is not the primary issue here, it is the principle of doing right by your customers and being accountable for the products that you sell.
This place is nice, but if you go there in the evening they are packing up all the hot food, deli and juices way too early. They make you feel uncomfortable for being there. We get it- you want to go home.

Last time I came here, the people working behind the registers were very rude. Went last week to try it out again and they asked me to wear a mask lol so I left. Nobody has time for that.

Bad experience, they dont take manufacturers coupons. I printed coupon from manufacturer website and the cashier said to me its a fake. When I asked to show me their store policy they refused.

2022-04-13I am from out of town and visiting my father in law here in new winsdor, and went to natures pantry to pick up a few things. Dairy was very well stocked filled with a huge selection & very well organized and displayed. the young man in the section was very helpful. Was a very good experience.

2022-04-12Well stocked store, friendly, highly knowledgeable staff. The deli has partially reopened and I got a pumpkin spice non-dairy creme filled oatmeal sandwich cookie which is ridiculously good and healthy, too! Highly recommend.

2021-10-31This is a great find for the area. Many unique products and staff department heads are knowledgeable and willing to help you find the product you need if you take the time to speak with them. In my experience I’ve never found the staff rude or uncaring as stated in many reviews; they’ve been fast & efficient at check out. I’ve given only 4 stars because of pricing which is high. That being said I do travel from New Paltz once a week or every other week to purchase items I can’t get locally. Hope they stay in business for the foreseeable future.

2017-03-08Great place if your looking to go organic. It is over priced but this is independently owned. If price is no issue then by all means come here. Ive seen someone purchase go over 200 for literally 2 brown bags. So if your on a budget this is not the place to do your shop.

2021-06-22Extremely unhappy with my experience today. I always shop here and for the first time I had to do a return but I didn’t have my receipt. The boy at the register asked a woman who was there (possibly a manager or cashier) if he can do the return with no receipt and she immediately said no. I asked her if he can scan the credit card I purchased the item with and she said no. Usually you would get a store credit for the item anywhere else and the item was unopened. Anyway, bad customer service and I won’t be doing business here any longer. She pretty much treated me as if I stole the item the way she was talking to me.

2019-04-28I love this place. All the employees are always super friendly. I love there is huge selection of all kinds of organic foods and they are always bringing new products. The hot bar/prepared foods I love - everything is always so yummy and they are always switching them up - tons of new recipes.The only negative (not enough to drop a star) the prices are strange - for the same product coming from the same company just in a different flavor/variety there are different prices. I never seen that. Usually its the same prices throughout.

2020-09-15Let me just state: this review is for the very rude staff. Obviously, its a clean place and has the specialty items you would usually get at Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Sprouts, etc, but this area doesnt have those so this store is our only option. Ive been coming here for a *while* and I have really experienced quite a bit of sass and rudeness from the staff. Today was a new level. One of the managers Donna/Donnette, was over-the-top rude when I tried to return two boxes of Mac and Cheese. I tried to make the first box at home and the cheese packet was hard and like pebbles, quite rocky, not powder, so I didnt even eat it. Therefore, I returned one attempted-to-eat box and one unopened box, and I was expecting a return of both boxes (as the other cooked box was inedible) but the staff member literally said I have to bring my pot of cooked Mac and Cheese in the store! They will not refund me. (Fun fact: they dont refund at all, only exchange). I asked for a manager, guess what, thats her. One of them she said. I asked for another, and her response was that it was not possible. I informed her I will review the store for her rudeness and lack of assistance. Her response? Beautiful. Basically just know youre coming to this store to pay too much for your groceries, but try not to communicate with anyone because they will bite your head off and give you some serious high school level attitude.
