This is a great company. We have been doing business with them for some time now and they are very helpful with any questions and concerns always wiling to give credit challenged customers a chance when no one else will. My customers have told me there always friendly when they call them and never have a problem i would reccomend them to any dealer that wants a good subprime finance company for small auto loans to give them a chance.
I was buying a car at a buy here pay here. When I went for my 2nd vehicle the owner of the lot surprised me by saying he got me financed. They took a chance on me when no one else would and I couldnt be happier with my car and my payments. Its great to have people out there that will give 2nd chances. They realize that bad things happen to good people. Always very nice when Ive talked to them. Couldnt be happier.
Beverly gave me the BEST customer service experience I have ever had! She is so sweet! I wish all customer service representatives understood the value of listening, understanding and then reacting like Beverly does. She treated me like family and I will always appreciate her! She treated me like an MVP when in all actuality she is New City Fundings MVP!
Although interest rates are extremely high and the payment options have become limited. This company makes up for it with the people they hire. Ive been dealing with them for three years now and my experience has been exceptional all do to one women, Beverly! What an angel. Every time she called I looked forward to hearing her cheery voice. Very polite even if I had missed payments. She worked with me and really made my experience the best Ive ever had when dealing with paying people money. I would probably consider getting another loan through them regardless of who has a better deal only because I know Beverly is the best I could ask for when being asked to shell out a few hundred dollars.
I just called and talked to someone named Denisse she was excessively rude, I was trying to help and all I got was someone talking to me like I was her daughter. Very unprofessional, plus the company doesn’t even care about the quality and the true value of the vehicles that they finance. Very disappointed and willing to start a voluntary repossession even if that means damaging my credit score.
I have no complaint about the company itself, my complaint is about the people that represent the company. The representative name Heather and who I was told was a supervisor Nina are very unprofessional and rude. Not only did Heather slam the phone down in my ear, the supervisor Nina was even more unprofessional and refuse to give me the owner information in order to send a complaint. I told her she do not need my social security number to give me a name and address to send a complaint and once again she refused over and over. I then told her to forget it that I would look it up online and she stated, whatever, we’ll do that , bye and slammed and hung up. These workers need more training on customer service and how to talk to people regardless of that customer situation. Its not up to the representative to get nasty and rude in order to get payments. Terrible. Unprofessional, rude.
Miss Beverly Truly , Is amazing !! I really appreciate her work effort .Shes kind , polite , very compassionate while also doing her job. Shes the sweetest voice you look forward to speak to .If shes not available I will not speak to anyone else Ill email her or try again later .Some of the other employees get upset because I prefer to speak to her some are rude about it and others are very nice .I prefer to have a more pleasant conversation each time . I had the best loan experience with New City Funding because of Beverly and I truly thank her ! . Job well done :))
I just want to say I’ve been going a lot this year from ex wife cleaning my bank account to car problems to my phone speaker not work .. etc and through it all hands down Beverly has been the best account supervisor to work with. she has work with me to to help get me situated with my past due car payment and I couldn’t be grateful enough of her. I would like to say how truly blessed I am to have Miss Beverly F on the other end of my phone call every morning. It’s like I’m speaking to an old friend she treats me like a human being and not just a job. There’s so many things I could say about Miss Beverly that I quite don’t have enough time to say. She always goes far and beyond job title, expectations, and exceeds extreme great customer service. Starting off I heard bad things about new city funding not to mention the 2-3 phone calls I would get in the same day for a courtesy reminder or the 5 phone calls in one week I would Get letting me know I was late on my payment after I change my payment day over ten times and asked repeatedly to note it on my account to stop these phone calls, some where down the line I got this wonderful women Beverly F. She fixed my problem with the excessive phone calls and was my go to since. She is an amazing representative and is a true asset to the company, she is the only person who I deal with within the company when they ask can i help you I say no thank you Ill wait for Beverly. I would highly recommend her and this company honestly simply because of her, she brights your day with her amazing voice and after Im done with new city funding I think I might just call in just to hear her voice lol thank you Beverly F. Your amazing!!!!!
Been making payments thru them since last Christmas. Haven’t had any issues at all, only time I speak to them is when I need slightly longer to make my payment. And they are always very kind. Good company for second chance credit buyers!

From the early weeks in my loan over 3 years ago I was called by a woman named Beverly, the level of patience understanding and care that was given was remarkable. Beverly is not only handling my account but she has become like a family member to me. Beverly is the reason why I will sign a new loan with New city funding. My overall experience has been positive and I’m thankful that Beverly has been there every step of the way.
Miss Beverly has been beyond helpful throughout my loan period. Thank god for her!!! Just paid the loan off today and I let her know that if not for her I don’t know how I would have done it and I appreciate the patience she’s had with me through the last years.
Totaled my car with them 3 payments left I was denied a car because I was told I cant get help with hardship or anything and I had a choice pay old new or try to get new one so I can have a way to work to get new funding there 3 payments and now I cant get a car smh I cant wait to get out of this never again I feel I never want to finance a car again they where paid 90% of my loan and put on my credit I owe the whole loan not what I actually owe its not fair

I’m an auto dealer and I’ve dealt with many banks but new city is By far the easiest to work with. I’ve done hundreds of deals with them and everyone there is respectful and pleasant to work with. Customers need to understand they’re giving you a second chance at an auto loan so if you make your payments on time your credit improves and it will be easier getting another loan in the future! 5 stars
Beverly has been amazing. Honestly the past 6 months have been really testing our faith. We recently moved and had two incomes but my fiancee needed emergency spinal surgery so we lost an income and ive been home from work a lot caring for her. Then when we finally get our heads above water someone broke in to our car and stole our rent and car payment money. If it wasnt for people like Beverly I dont know what Id do she is understanding and helps to keep me positive. Thank you so much for all that you do.

For having no credit, the Only place that would take a chance on me is New City Funding. And I am so happy they exist when EVERYONE either said NO or wanted me to pay $450/mo for 3 years? NCF made it possible for me to get a great used car and my credit is getting rebuilt! Beverly is so kind and caring, I made my payment today and she was super fast and knows her stuff! Beverly is a asset to this company. I have spoken with many agents with in my 2 years working with NCF and she is by far the best, Her response time is great and she is always available if i have any questions or concerns. I would recommend NCF to family and friends. Edited.. I needed to change rating.. Not sure whats going on with Beverly but shes more concerned with complaining about her boss and blessing peoples lives then trying to save a loan.. I was 3 years in only 1 yr left.. I fell on hard times. I requested to defer a payment to help get my caught up or even auto pay.. When she emailed me back her only response was have a blessed life.. Like really????? . well needless to say they have their car back now.. Never work with Beverly. Never!

Id have to give New City Funding 5 Starz not because of the company, though it is a great company. Its because of this precious gem Ms.Beverly I had the pleasure of handling my account. Ive had a a couple vehicles financed with them and Ms.Beverly has been with me every step of the way. She is a rare gem, personable, charismatic, caring and compassionate woman, her candour makes you feel like family. Dealing with loans, and making payments and other aspects of things can be really stressful. Shes saved me a lot of grief, and has helped me build my credit with her jewels of advice. So when you have someone who will take you under the umbrella and look out for you like family. It makes you want to continue business with the company.

They’re the nicest people ever...... UNTIL you miss a payment, then they become the most rude, ghetto, unprofessional people you’ll ever speak to. I was only behind on a payment for 2 weeks, told them I’d make the payment next week because I started a new job. They said “ok we have you down for next week” and they repossessed my car the next day just to scam a extra $400 repossession fee out of me.My advice, get your credit right and go through a REAL bank
I thought i was on a real downward spiral, Beverly reassured, worked with and helped me to make a bad time in my life (losing my mom) better. She’s not just a collections supervisor, she’s a caring person who isn’t there to take your vehicle, she’s a person who realizes life happens and makes sure things get back on track. Aweful, just aweful. I have never in my life dealt with so so many rude, and arrogant employees. One hung up when she didnt want to hear the truth. Take my name and phone number off my daughters application. You have no problem calling me and leaving messages when she struggles to keep up with her payments. Your company wont even work with customers. Good luck to new customers i wont be interacting with this company ever again. You can keep in touch with the car owner not i.

She was able to calmly explain what my situation was and remedy it. Beverly is an amazing woman she is always nice always egar to help asks how my day is going and makes me feel like more than just another customer. She is the reason i have kept making sure i make my payments. She is a great example of what customer service should be even if shes not having the best day im still greeted with enthusiasm and a warm welcome i would love to see her be promoted or move on to bigger and better things and i am greatful for this experience. I called to make an arrangement w a rep and she was kind enough to make it for me.. then my “account manager “ called me later that evening and said that I couldn’t go w that arrangement.. i made another one w him.. the day before the arranged date i came outside and my car was gone.. i called to see what happened and not only did the supervisor April couldn’t help me but couldn’t even tell me where my car was..very unprofessional and big fat liars..i will get out of this deal as soon as i can .. NEVER GO WITH THEM ‼️
Rates are too high down payment too high and car dealer was Iffy suggesting if you have poor credit this about the best you can expect. Got the loan in April have yet to see a payment book even though I asked for it as I want to switch to mailing payment. Had a nasty encounter early on but manager made nice for me it could be worse not an experience I care to repeat but if I have to .I will have to use a better dealer or a private sale
I must tell you my son had a loan through New City Funding. His rep was B. Bichmo she was the greatest really knows her customer service. I have to say....that New city funding was a great place to do business with especially with my credit being so bad. They still took the chance with me. I will be done with my loan payments by the end of the month. Though at times when I called in some of the people in the office was not so pleasant as you would think they would be. But then I had an encounter with Bruce. Which made me feel extremely comfortable calling in even if I was making a late payment. Bruce took control of my account and with his help and guidance I was able to successfully be almost done with my payments. If I had to do it all over again I definitely would as long as Bruce is my account holder!!! Theres just somethin about his personality that is so homesome and comforting ! I truely appreciate Bruce!

Thank you for responding to my review. Over most I believe you guys are aware that the customer service may be the worst that many of us have experienced. The representatives are rude, disrespectful and totally unhelpful nine times out of ten. They speak to customers like they’re speaking to someone on the street. Second I think it’s unfair to not offer refinancing options. Lastly you guys won’t rollover a loan, I’m sure most of the cars you guys finance are older vehicles and are prone to breakdown.
Ive had two car loans through NCF. They have come a long way in the last three or four years. In 2013 they were very hard to deal with, unprofessional, etc. Very surprised last year when I ended up getting a loan through them again how much they have changed. I still get the occasional rude rep but overall no complaints. Happy with them this time around.I am not happy about the loan itself, 24% interest rate @ 24 months and with a tracking device linked to killing your starter, BUT as for the business themselves, they are pleasant to deal with.
Got my first car loan through them and Ive never had a problem. They work with high risk applicants so the payments will be higher but like Ive stated above, theyve never treated me bad. Rick and everyone there has always answered any questions Ive had and resolved any concerns Ive brought up. If you need a car or need to get your credit back in good shape I highly recommend them.
Honestly, I have had ZERO problems with this company in over a year that Ive had my car loan. Ive been treated with respect every time Ive spoken to them. If I ever need another car loan, I have no reason not to come to them. UPDATE it has now been 3 years and my loan is coming to its end. This company has been top notch with me from start to finish.

Apparently I was misinformed last month when I told the rep I had to have neuro surgery due to a tumor in my spinal canal. I told her I would be out of work with no income for a month. I asked if there would be a way to work something out since Ive been making my payments on time. She told me yes when I call when my payment was due so I called tonight I was transferred to Mia who spoke down to me and was extremely rude! I asked to speak to her supervisor and she told me she didnt have one so I asked to speak to the owner then because she has to have a boss and was told he was in FL for the winter. I asked if I could reach him at the number I dialed in the spring then and she said no he doesnt come in at all ever! So who do I speak to about rude employees?! And its 2 days before Christmas! I will make sure friends & family know to get funding else where! As well as I will be shopping for lending elsewhere!

This is the worse place I ever had to deal with. They harrass you over . cents balance. They are rude and very aggressive. I had a rep. hang up on me 7 times after I made a payment and did not pay the 49 cents. She refused to give me my code an day car tracker was beeping very loudly. I cant wait to get ride of those monsters. They are cold and have no courtesy or lack profesionalism. THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE HORRIBLE PLACE. DO NOT finance with them.

These people are crooks. Their customer service reps are ghetto and speak to you as if you are their child. I got hung up on more times than I can count and was cursed at and degraded. They add in fees to make more money off of you. My car was repoed and on my receipt from getting the car back it says I paid all the fees including the repo fee. I call in today to see how much I owe in my loan so I can plan accordingly and they tell me I’m 600 behind because of repossession fee, when I have the paper work saying what the fee was and that it was paid. One girl told me the fee was 175 then get passed to a manager who said the fee was 375. Your company sucks and that’s me putting it nicely. You take advantage of people to get every dollar you can. I’ve reported you to the BBB and plan on taking further action if need be. I. Surprised you aren’t put out of business yet, but seeing all the reviews and reports on the BBB I’m sure that will be coming soon.

I ONLY gave this place 2 stars because they approved me for a loan when my credit was in the dumps. Cant Complain about the 24% interest rate because i knew what i was getting myself in to but other than that this place is a joke. The customer service was horrible. horrible enough for me to never want to call this place again. Every time i call this place i get the same rude ass Female who says anything to get you off the phone. I cant think of her name but she isnt helpful at all. If you hate your life and your job that much than do us all a huge favor and quit please. If you desperately need a loan than this place is for you but dont expect bells and whistles when you call them on the phone. I ended up refinancing my loan through my fcu for 8% interest rate once my score improved.

Do not get a car loan from this place. You pay double the price for car. Which yes If your credit is not great it is what it is. I paid for my car every month. I run into a issue and their customer service is horrible. Their little “box” they install in your car decided to malfunction and my car would not turn on. I reached out to this company and they tell me “there’s nothing we can do, bring it back to the dealship” well that dealer is no longer in business so what now? I was put on hold for long periods of time and hung up on twice. Unprofessional employees calling me “hun and babe”. If you guys control the box, you are liable to get it fixed if it stops working and I’m paying all this money. Still waiting on a “manager” to call me back as my kids and I stood on the side of the road in the cold. My car is still in the same location as I don’t know where to get this done. I’ve reached out to friends who are techs at big dealerships and they never even heard of this process or where to even start. Please read the reviews on this business before doing business with them! Big scam! Ill be contacting a lawyer in regards to this! This isn’t right!

Have a 36 month lease to own threw them. My payments are not bad however every single month after the first three payments ive had my truck i had to call for my pin. I sent in the text me my pin paper work 4 times and they no longer call me with my pin. I also paid 6 months in advance amd got 6 pins to enter each month. 5 of those pins were wrong and i had to call them again every month for pins. With technology taking over the world this company needs to invest in an easier way to dish out pins. Would also prob save having office personal also gotta soend money to make money.

I just paid off a car that I bought through them. Id been paying faithfully for a year and 1/2. The car is an entirely other story but my interactions with NCF were AWFUL.I wouldnt post this publically until I had already spoken to NCF myself, but after talking to a supervisor at the company I feel at liberty to say the following:There werent any issues when Id call to make payments but due to car being a total lemon I was working out ways to have the situation dealt with. The man I talked to on the phone (he called himself a supervisor and refused to transfer me to anyone else) ended up screaming at me and acting extremely condescending. It was hands down the absolute worst customer service experience I have EVER had. I will never touch NCF with a 10 foot pole and moving forward I will also advise my network to steer clear of this company. I work in customer service and have for most of my adult life and to be treated this way was infuriating. No one deserves to be treated like theyre stupid. Im so disappointed. So glad to have paid off my car and have no further dealings with this company. If you have any desire to be treated like an adult, or even like a human with dignity, I dont recommend this company.
I have used New City Funding twice. They are wonderful. They are easy to work with. They are clear about any and all fees. Their rates are very reasonable. The customer service people like Yalary are knowledgeable, helpful and always pleasant. I wish more dealerships would use them.

Not only is the staff not friendly youd think when your being charged 21.99% interest on a loan theyd treat you with a little more respect. I paid off my car over 2 weeks ago still havent received the lean title in the mail and every time i call they give me a different answer from all very rude employees. Would not ever suggest getting a loan through this company.

Wish there was more.payment options that didnt require a check essentially to be sent in the mail.. I have sent a check twice and its been sent back to me without the envelopes being opened.. I havent been able to drive my vehicle which I purchased for bad weather to drive instead of a yaris... so with that being said Im slightly frustrated that I cant seem to get my money to the company. Using the address labels they sent to me.. I dont quite understand what is going on. But otherwise company is ok staff has not been friendly 3/4 times but one girl was very friendly.

Almost everytime without fail when I call it get the rudest people! I called today about making a payment on my loan and theven lady was more than rude and then just hangs up on me. Not sure if its because I work in a call center but the owner should really have the employees take a class on respect and how to treat people. Definitely will not be asking for a loan in the future from this place!
At first they were ok cause I didn’t have to really deal with them much but towards The end they were very rude,poor customer service,requested management to contacall me which never happened, I was accused of lying about calling to make a payment b cause no on answered during business hours and had to pay a late fee though no fault of my own, did I mention they are extremely rude..worst part is that I only finance a car to build my credit being that I have always bought with cash only to find it it they NEVER REPORTED MY PAYMENTS! And I have yet to hear back from a mgr about that and I requested a call back specifically for that reason..was at a dealership and found out they never reported so called to see if I could finance again through them since it looked like I was a first time buyer and they could clearly see I wasn’t..I was put on hold and no one ever came back and this is after I have already paid my car off. So yeah they are horrible as far as customer svc and professionalism. Would not recommend them to my worst enemy.

Once you miss a payment, they turn in ya! They have no consideration for the people involved. You set up payment arrangements, and they take control. Threaten repossession even after payment arrangements have been made and fallowed.Never again will I use them, nor recommend them. They just dont care about anyone but themselfs.

I am a customer of new city funding . I became sick and could not make my payments anymore. But I didnt want to have a repo on my credit nor did I want to give the car back and I already invested into the car. Long story short they came and repo my car my second week starting my new job since I was sick. I talked to a couple people at new city pleading to work with me and I got very nasty ppl telling me all well we cant help you and very unprofessional . Just at that point I wasnt upset about the car but the customer service . But then an angel named Bruce started to talk to me . He was so professional and he treated me like a human. He cared about my situation and really understood. He went up and beyond his job to he me . Due to Bruce s persistence and the owner agreeing to help me out save my life . If it wasnt for Bruce I was just gonna leave the car there. Bruce saved my life, my job, my credit, my school and my children . Because without a car being a single parent who works and school dr appts etc. It would be very hard . Bruce made everything happen except one thing that was not part of his job but he tried anyway . Even tho I couldnt get my car that was ok because I know Im getting it back the next business day and all due to a man who fought for me and I appreciate him so much and the owner! He talked to me step by step all the way to the end and because of his compassion I will make sure this car loan gets paid off !! No matter what❤️Thank you Bruce people should learn from you. New city funding has the rudest staff ever. I have been paying 267$ a month for the past 2.5 years. I have had a financial situation where I have fell behind. I called today to see if I paid 500$ today and another 500$ in 1.5 weeks if they would drop the repo and I got screamed at by the supervisor that she wants my car!!!!! And hung up on me!!!! Ive paid on time for the past 2.5 years and recently became a single mother of 4. I now have a 2nd income so that I can pay on time and they wont even give me a chance. The car was 10,000$ and I owe 2700 and was able to pay 500 today and another 500 in 1.5 weeks which would have me caught up and then pay off at tax time while making my monthly payments. Theyre very rude and could careless that people have problems sometimes. But like I said after paying for 2.5 years on time just doesnt matter.

Ive had 3 loans with NCF my sons and my sons girlfriend also financed their cars with NCF. Ive worked with Rick and Beverly. They both rock!! Beverly has been patient and understanding. Now that the loan is paid off, I will miss her. I will have to take another loan again soon. Lol thank you!!!! 😁
Ive had an auto loan from this company for a little over a year now. There interest rates are a little high but thats what happens when you dont have great credit so they cannot be penalized for that. All in all I got the truck I always dreamed of having at a good monthly payment. But they have been extremely flexible with me at one point I was a few months late and they worked with me the entire time and helped me get back on track and never tried to repo the truck on me like most companys would adter being 3 months late but not them they worked with me the entire time all I had to do was keep in touch and stick tour payment arrange. Everytime Ive called Ive always been treat with respect even being months late. All in all there a great A+ company that has helped me more then any other financial institution period. So all you people with negative posts you should not blame them because you have bad credit and have high interest rate and payment. And i f you treat them woth respect they will treat you with respect if your rude and arrogant then i wouldnt be nice to you either respect is earned not given. So anyone thats looking into using this company I would recommend then 100% and stand behind them 1000% and will do much more business in the future
I wish there was a way to put no stars. Im glad to see a ton of comments with similar situations to mine. First off I must say I dont know who Beverly is but she must be the only good thing about NCF because all the good reviews have her name in it. Now my situation. I bought a 2004 Pacifica from Cars R Us which turned out to be a lemon. The fist week it was smooth. Everything was good until the end of the second week. My car broke down on the highway. I had 2 mechanics take a look. The 1st one noticed coolant fluid was leaking into the engine and on the engine. It was everywhere. The second mechanic said the car shouldve never passed inspectation because the bottom of the car was rotton. My wife ended up losing her job because we were stranded in a different state. My wife informed NCF and they claimed the dealer would have to provide us with a new car or give them their money back. We were content until the dealer contacted somebody he was familiar with at NCF. Then it went from us getting a new vehicle to, we had to pay to replace the engine in that vehicle AND still make payments on the vehicle. NCF claims our issue is with the dealer not them. However, NCF should be held accountable for doing business with crooked salesman. Especially considering the dealer is who refered us to them in the first place. Sounds like the perfect scam because after, they also tried to convince us to take another 1k loan out to get the engine fixed. That deal didnt work out because as I said my wife ended up losing her job because we were stranded and that was our only income source. I wont tell you not to try NCF. I will say read the comments and make your own decision. They might say well you shouldve checked the car before you bought it. Be mindful the issues I named are things you wouldnt catch with the naked eye. A leak in the engine and rot under the vehicle.

When I bought my car in Massachusetts Feb. 2016, I was informed that I had to have a start interrupter device installed on the car. Never heard of this , but ok , Im good with it. I always pay my bills. Never had a problem with it up until April 21, 2017. Went to go start my car and nothing, wouldnt start. They killed my car even though I was current with my payments. Tried calling them (honestly forgot who I talked to) , but it was the weekend. I was treated with indifference and told its all my problem to deal with. Wait, What?! It wasnt my equipment that was faulty. Not only did they shut off my car for no reason, when they did it, the box that this thing is malfunctioned and started to melt. I had to have a mechanic fix all the chopped up wiring that their device required and some wiring replaced because their kill switch device fried it. Now I come home from being in the hospital for 3 weeks and there are emails and phone messages telling me Im late with my payment for this month. Dont walk, run from this company. at a 21% interest rate for a 5k car, its just not worth the nightmare.
In August I was told my final payment in September would be $185. When I call to make final payment Im told it is $222. When I ? This Im told the interest is 12 cents a day. Duh 12 cents? Its $37 more. Thats more like a $1.12 a day. Terrible way to do business and I found the staff rude and unfriendly. I was never told about the box that turns your car off. But thats the scum bag that I bought the car from. Carvalhos in Westport Massachusetts. In the end Im the stupid one. Never again.

I had the opportunity to be a client for this bank and the interests are too high I do not recommend them, call to make a payment and try to clarify many doubts because every time the balance of my account rises more and I had doubts as soon as that , I asked to speak with someone who speak Spanish and the person speak Spanish without letting me talk, he explained to me of the interest they are very high and I continued with the doubts and she as it is nothing profeccional I hang the phone, little profeccional not even how they accept personnel so Disrespectful in a bank where it is important to serve the public!! ...I was able to speak with the manager of the bank, with great patience, I enlightened and finished paying my account, for employees like her, you lose clients.. by LilliamCorraliza rate 000
Worst customer service, ever! Customer brought me a truck on Friday, we repaired it. Left it in the bay over the weekend, went to remove it out of the shop Monday morning, no start. Tried calling customer, no answer. Called New City Funding, they say its going to be out for repo, they will come get it. Here we are Tuesday morning, still not here. Call again, rudest person ever! Actually had the nerve to say it was our fault! That we put it in they bay. How would I know if a customer is paying or not? Now, Ive lost out on 9 hours of lift time. They dont care. I will never recommend them for financing.
This is by far the worst company i have ever been in contact with... i know alot of ppl like them because they approve everyone. Hiwever its not worth the feeling of being cheated i feel like this place is one junk whole of scam artist. I absolutely hate their customer service. They will avoid dealing with matters by telling u they will call u back and you will never get a call back .... im still waiting on a return call. I wish i wouldve read some of these reviews before going with this company. They have the most “ghetto” unprofessional workers u can imagine. They answer the phone and before u can even tell them whats wrong they cut you off and say “lemme get the last four of ya social to pull u up” and its just like ... excuse me????? I hate hate hate this place im currently contacting a lawyer to deal with my situation they wont recieve one single payment until my issue is resolved. Do NOT take your business here they’re so many more companies with better customer service and will approve you. Thank me later!!!!!
I gave a 3 star rating as I has a car loan through New City Funding from 2013-2017 and never missed a payment yet none of the activity was ever reflected on my credit report or credit score. If youre looking to establish credit while financing a vehicle, this is not the place to go through.
Kevin is pretty good, sometimes hes more willing to help than others, but all in all our experience is a positive one. he always works with us and keeps us going. Staying current on payments is really easy with Kevin. He checks in. An app would be great!
New City Funding is one of the best choices I mad so far dealing with auto financing.Robin understood my situation and work with me she helped me out alot she also showed me she cares I can tell she really likes her job. I will do it all over again as long as she have my case..

2022-08-19Fair and polite. Went through the whole pandemic with late payments and they worked with me. Hoping to not need to pay 18% anymore but it did help when i needed it. My mistake was i purchased an unreliable 2011 bmw with high mileage. If i had purchased a more reliable car, I would have had no problem with the payments and would give them 5stars instead or 4. Recommend to people who only need it. thank you.

2022-08-17They work with incredibly sketchy dealers. They Works with a dealer that was allowed to cancel an auto contract After it had already been funded And the first payment had already been made. They allow the dealer to cancel the contract and keep my down payment. We spoke to five different people at the bank and they all told us something different.

2022-07-20Go with any other lending company a buy here pay here is a better option you will pay for your vehicle twice if not three times over in just interest it’s not worth it! No car is worth it and no company should be allowed to charge credit card interest rates for a car loan

2022-08-10RUNNNN FROM THESE GUYSSSSS, I got a car and when it left the lot I owed 8,100 almost 2 years later my car was totaled in a accident not my fault it said I owed 6,200 on the car still no breaks from these guys, I reported it to them and told them it would be paid off, $4.25 a day for late payments and how did I still owe that much hmmm I didnt thays why, they will Take advantage of you as much as possible, The car I got was in the shop 60 days of the 1st 90 days of ownership

2022-03-31This lender is extremely rude I spoke with somebody name Lauren she works in repo department she hung up on me multiple times she talked over me she questioned me about my health when that’s not her job title to do… I’m over it I can not wait until my loan is over and paid for because I am never ever financing with them ever again this has been a very good lesson for me it showed me that I can definitely do better by keep building my credit score to get me a better vehicle and a lender I’m 20 so I do have lots and lots to learn but this will be my last ! Anyways Lauren has been very unprofessional I have her on video on how she was speaking to me for the past couple of days she also has been calling me private harassing me as well and I do have proof of that… little do Lauren knows a police report has been submitted and I will be contacting corporate about it because that is definitely not a way to perform a job I also spoke with Lynn the supervisor she is nice she solved the issue and she listened to my frustration with Lauren but I still think it’s a red flag to how Lauren is still occupied with a job with causing emotional distress to customers it’s sickening and I’m taking FURTHER action.

2022-01-05Worse lender unless your credit is bad and you need something asap besides that STAY AWAY these guys dont even let you make car payments with credit or debit cards you need to live next to a cvs in order to make a payment , they dont do refinance so you would have to get another lender and put yourself in a deeper debt in order to leave them. Honestly only thing good is they accept bad credit but besides that in my personal experience opinion there horrible sorry

2021-05-07I’m giving them five star because they were the only one willing to lend me a loan with bad credit (500’s)Just make sure to pay off debt before high interest.Customer service were fine we’ve had our dispute were I wanted a letter to show I paid off the car loan they didn’t provide spoke with supervisor and it was done.Oh and they give a 20 day grace period to make payment.I recommend just be sure to pay extra in case you miss a payment it can be used as a back up.

2021-11-17Please stop dealing with these people. I’m not even sure why they are a lender. They are for people that are desperately in need a vehicle and will do or fix anything to get you in one. I dealt with this bank 2 separate time on my own in 2016 April 24th went to auto mart in Delaware on Kirk wood high way was sold a Dodge Caliber 2010 check engine light came on when I test drove it to get gas across the street . They stayed that was the only car I was approved for . The car never passsed inspection from April till January , have transmission stilled around October . The dealer promises to fix and didn’t and they allow a lemon to go in to contract and have a lien on the vehicle before know if it was a drivable car or not. Car was rigged if all speaker wires faulty system. 2 time when to New Jersey and got a car for my girlfriend , last a month and blew head gasket . Not to mention car kept shutting off since the first day we got it. Completely lose power. Chrysler 200 . Left was at risk majorly most of the time it was drivable driving on different high was and just shutting off . The bank doesn’t care they just want there money for a lemon they over tax. With a passion I hate this company and I’ve never had this anger toward no one in my life but these people are SCAMMERS “STAY AWAY “!!
