I have been working in Long Island city for 5 years now . One of best Asian place for lunch during work . The food is good and delivery is fast . This place gets 5 stars . This is me giving them 5 star with experience with the restaurant for close to 5 yrs
I went this two time and the food was very delicious and cheap.I order Hunan beef.I will come back for sure!! This restaurant not good for delivery ,it is better if you pick up.It s small restaurant by family.

Waited AN HOUR but they never delivered it. Ordered online and they didnt attempt to call or contact me about my order. They waited until I called them to FINALLY tell me that they wont deliver to me because Im too far. They still took my money and refused to compromise. They are a selfish business and should NOT be trusted. Terrible service and awful business model.

2021-01-04Way over priced with low quality food.Ordered Braised Pork Bone with Soy Sauce and Stew Trotters in Special Chili Sauce.The pork bone has nearly zero meat, unlike the same dish i ordered at other Chinese restaurants. The trotter was uncleaned and super hairy... will not come again.

2021-06-13I shouldn’t have to feel like maybe I got re heated food from someone else😩 I got wings and fries. They were all cut into the smaller parts of the wings (in total there was like 2 1/5 wings) and as I was eating them one of them that was cut weird, like almost in half, had hot sauce on them, which I never use. I wonder if these were recycled wings left over from someone else.

2021-02-06I had been craving for some Chinese Szechuan food and this was highly recommended. A bit pricy for chicken and broccoli with brown rice but then again I ate 3 times from it. Not so pricy after all and very tasty. I give it a 4 because it was my first time. Will try another dish and repost.Stay tuned and looking forward to ordering again.

2016-02-25I love the people there, they are a hard working family that makes great food and delivers in rain, sleet, or snow. Ive Been ordering for as long as I can remeber.. 100% satisfied with the food which is always consistent in size and flavor. P.s. and i consider myself friends with the staff/owner and their family, very nice people with good food who cook with love and clean hands. what more could you ask for? 10/10 starsP.S. their home made iced tea/sweat tea is great on a nice hot day and or meal..good prices too!

2018-04-11My review of this restaurant may be a bit bias considering I grew up just across the street from it but nonetheless, here it is. Delicious! Even after all these years, New Szechuan House is still to me, one of the best Chinese take-out or dine-in restaurants out there. Extremely affordable and owned and operated by the same family for over 25 years, your dining experience here is everything but glamorous. The establishment only has three tables and doesnt have the most luxurious settings but has the most amazing menu items. I have not once been disappointed with my order. Granted the menu items are generic and can be found at any Chinese restaurant but New Szechuan House definitely stands out amongst the best in New York City. Ive lived in Brooklyn for the last 15 years and still trek it out to Woodside just to eat there chicken and broccoli. This restaurant is highly recommended and will not disappoint.

2017-09-02When people say great food, its totally subjective.So let me put it this way. I got the sliced chicken and broccoli, and all the chicken was whatever part of the chicken thats all tough and rubbery and you cant chew it and you cant cut it with a knife and just gross and offensive to my textural and culinary sensibilities. The rice was bland and dry. If thats great food to you then youll enjoy this place. Everyone has different standards so far be it from me to pass judgement. You may enjoy that and thats your preference. But Im just putting it out there.My cat seemed to like it. Then again he likes cat food and whatever live birds he can catch.Theyve been in the neighborhood for at least 20 years. Theyre hard working and nice. Just not my preference food-wise.
