Cargo Taxi truck came late yesterday so I give 4 start review, but Sasha and his helper were very fast and I also get 5% OFF. They explained that on Fridays sometimes they have delays because of heavy traffic. Anyway great guys and super service!!!
Hard to reach nor use them cause waiting time quote so went to other that came helpful and paid better on TaskRabbit than New York Cargo Taxi did !
If I could give them zero stars I would. Although very reponsive via email to ge the client/job after that it is ALL down hill. This guy sasha showed up wiith my items from ikea asked for the money and ran out. he stated he was parked at a hydrant and would not cross walk the items with the receipt. Once he left I found out the main peice/box for the tv console was missing. I called and emailed many times before receiving a reponse. Via email the next day I was told he would go back and come put it together for $60 between 2pm and 3pm. I said oK/ HE NEVER SHOWED UP NEVER CALLED the next day. Two days wasted and my project not complete. His boss finally emailed me to say sasha reported the item was out of stock and he doesnt work tomorrow, we can not go back due to gas costs and tolls
Used this morning man with a van service. Great experience! I paid $120 for 2 hours and no hidden fees or anything (hard to find in New York) very friendly and polite driver. They good for that name. Recommend to anyone.
Absolutely incredible man with avan service. I need this type of service couple times a year and glad that found legitimate company. 2 uniformed men arrived on time and move my art studio from city to Bushwick in 2 hours. Thank you guys!
This is a scam company. Asked for a move that is 4 blocks at 5:45PM the person said they could not do that late, agreed to a 4:30 move. Price more than double 1 1/2 hours before time to move. Avoid at all costs, they will scam you, prices on website are not what they will charge.
I made a call to this company having no response back to my previous email contact, and the person answering the phone kept saying email him and hung up while I was still speaking and asking a question.

2014-07-15They were late for about an hour, but then all move was just amazing. Very quick and professional guys. I had a very heavy upright piano with some small furniture and boxes. I was moved within 3 hours and for ~ $270.00If you are looking for cheap and expert movers ask for George when call Cargo Taxi

2014-11-11Absolutely awesome service. I was thinking to rent a truck yesterday and ask my pals to help me with the move, but ended hiring Cargo Taxi. For the last minute move the price was very affordable and Sasha with helper performed fast and smooth job. well done guys! I will definitely use them again.

2015-01-21If you need man with a van service use this company. Just want to thank you man with a van service today! Sasha came 7am this morning and moved my sofa from one elevator building to another in 45 minutes. He covered sofa with blankets and quickly squeezed couch through bedroom door by himself.Amazing! Ask for Sasha if you need job done right!

2015-02-23The only problem is that I was waiting for Mercedes Sprinter to help me, but movers came with GMC box truck (also yellow). I believe that truck is bigger than sprinter van so no complain. Sasha and Dmitri were the best movers I ever had. We had issue with snow and weather condition but there were working hard, fast, and very very friendly. I dont know how many truck they have but I got super service yesterday!

2016-01-05We worked with Cargo Taxi for IKEA delivery and they offer absolutely awesome service. Specially on the last minute jobs. They helped us with many deliveries from IKEA to NYC and all our clients were happy, no complains. They work 7 days a week and very punctual.Geo

2014-07-05Absolutely great company. I needed some IKEA furnishing for my new apartment and also move my studio from Upper east side to Brooklyn. They bought almost everything at IKEA and assembled my new bed, 2 night stands and dresser in 2 1/2 hours. Sasha with his helper moved everything and all service took ~ 5 hours. I have no idea how else I would do this without this service.This company makes my life easier and hope will help you too!!!

2016-08-31We had very poor service with Cargo Taxi. No one answered any of their 3 phone numbers when they failed to arrive at the scheduled time. Emails from the owner were wildly inaccurate. If we didnt have so much to move in a time crunch I would have cancelled. The drivers were great and very apologetic.

2016-06-02I checked all reviews on YeLp but still wanted to try this service. Many reviews was given even without service performed so I called Georgeand made appointment for the past weekend. May be I got lucky but everything went very well. Yes, they came little late but moved my studio apartmentto UWS quick. Also Sasha helped me to finish with packing my dishes. I will also leave this review on Yelp. Thank you George

2019-04-22Be warned, dont use this company, i had an appointment with George to pick up my stuff from a location and his worker told him that he is not interested in picking up from there as it stresses him out. He emailed me at 10pm the night before the pickup... They are unreliable, and just not a good company to work with. i wouldnt use his services again..
