Slim Dental is amazing! Very clean and modern, with great COVID precautions. My kids love it here, and I am so happy they take adults too! The receptionist are wonderful, and their online check-in results in no wait times. Dr. Kim is terrific, very efficient and accommodating with a great bedside manner.
My child saw Dr. Abby Brecher, who is great.BUT the office staff is quite unorganized. My child had pediatric dental plan with his medical insurance at Aetna. We called and asked if they were in network with our insurance, which they confirmed yes. We saw them in 4/2021. They waited almost a year later to reach out and said that Aetna does not cover the visit and we have to pay out of pocket for it. In the mean time, I also changed job and insurance. So calling Aetna when you dont remember you member ID was not fun. However, Aetna was helpful and told us that they are not in network. When I told the office, they blamed it on someone else in the office and on us for not checking our insurance policy. I thought calling and confirming with them would have been enough. But according to this office, it is not enough. So make sure you check with your insurance company before going to see them so that they dont chase you down a year later with a hefty bill for a routine cleaning for your child.
Dr. Chaudhary is so sweet , her demeanor is very warm and gentle , she made my son feel so at ease . He had a wonderful Cleaning and he loves all the staff! The two assistants were also very nice and friendly and welcoming , Rita and Luis , and I my son loves going to the dentist after this visit !! The prizes at the end also a great touch! The kiddies love them . They also have tvs on the ceilings !
This was my second visit. Both times the Dentists, dental staff, hygienist, and front desk staff were great. Everting is friendly, helpful, patient, just a pleasure to deal with, they could not have been nicer. The office is immaculate and I never have to sit for hours waiting. Both visits were during the pandemic and proper precautions were in place. I felt safe and comfortable.
My daughter actually likes the dentist after coming here three times (shes 3). The staff are all professional and very adept at working with kids. The space is super clean, colorful and inviting, with TVs above all chairs to keep them distracted. And theres a large toy selection at the end, which my daughter loves. I also appreciate that weve gone twice during COVID, and both times have been the only patients there for the entire visit. Highly recommended.

Weve been to the practice two times and overall have had very positive experiences with the staff and pediatric dentists. Both appointments weve had to wait 20 min past our appointment time, but I think that was probably a good thing for my young daughter, it allowed her to have time to get her bearings and adjust to the sounds.
Amazing staff and a beautiful office! I highly recommend Dr. Kim. My daughter was very anxious about her cleaning appointment but that quickly changed when she was treated by Dr. Kim and staff. They were extremely nurturing and professional. I cant recommend them enough!
Highly recommend SLim Dental and Dr. Kim! My daughter, with sensory concerns, required dental treatments. Dr. Kim understood how to communicate and put her at ease. She took the time to explain treatment options and take our special needs into consideration.Despite having multiple procedures completed in one sitting, my daughter left smiling and said Dr. Kim was amazing. Excellent customer service, caring staff, and skillful dentistry. They were able to accommodate an emergency visit due to an injury, and they treated my child with such care after having experienced a traumatic accident. They were able to reconstruct a broken tooth within no time, and saved us so much grief and saved us from a permanent and expensive procedure that another dentist had unnecessarily recommended on the previous day. Dr. Kim followed up with a courtesy call on the same night to check in to see if my child was doing ok after the procedure. Highly recommend Dr. Kim and her staff at SLim Dental Kids!
Great dentist , extremely professional, and we picked up some advice on flossing and choice of toothbrush. My son was made to feel very relaxed . Relieved that my son will not have to fear a trip to the dentist the way I did when I was his age .
All the dentists are wonderful and professional. I highly recommend the place for the quality of work. I took one star off because I find it sad that your kid get used to people, especially dentists, working there but in couple of years the staff your kid is familiar with is gone. I dont know why is that.
Wonderful first time experience for my 3 and 5 year olds. Dr. Kim was kind, gentle, and provided great care to both of them, and explained everything very clearly. I’m very happy that I found SLim Dental kids.

My daughter has been coming here for the past 3 years. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. All the dentists here are great and very patient with the children. It’s clean and comfortable for the kids. They even have televisions on the ceilings for the kids to watch movies while they get exams. That’s so thoughtful and cool for the kids! I am very happy with Slim Dental Kids and recommend.
Dr. Josh was amazing and so sweet with my son. I was a bit nervous prior to my son’s appointment, thinking he needed a procedure done but immediately felt calm after talking to Dr. Josh and his assistant Amber. Great team! My son’s first visit to see the dentist could not have gone any better. Amazing experience and you can see right away that Dr. Josh is really skilled and good with children. My three kids really enjoyed their experience with Dr. Josh at SLim Dental Kids. Dr. Josh knew all three of their nicknames when he walked out; he has a tremendous demeanor with kids. We recently switched practices, and Im so glad we did. I love that all three could sit in the dentist chairs and watch their own shows simultaneously. They all had great things to say about their experiences when we came home. Highly recommend!
Our child has been at this dental practice since the first time he was due for a routine dental cleaning. There are so many great things to say about the practice (from the cleanliness, the decor, the front desk to the dental hygienists and of course the dentists). At our first visit, our child loved Dr. Ela who no longer works there and now Dr. Josh is his dentist- he loves him just as much!!). We cannot say enough good things about this practice. Highly recommended!!!

On a busy holiday, I stopped by SLim Dental to see if a dentist could take a super quick peek at my sons purple gums. Dr. Josh came back from lunch and saw us right away! Such an amazing experience. My family and I couldnt be more pleased with Dr.Josh and the amazing staff at Slim Dental. This past weekend was our first time visiting Slim Dental for our 2 year old daughter and our expectation went above. She especially loved all the toy goodies she received at the end of her great visit, big hit for a toddler! They were so welcoming, comforting and super child friendly(huge plus). Really nice pediatric office! They’re very responsive on Yelp, scheduling was seamless, and the staff is professional. Our daughter had several cavities, one of them pretty bad in the back tooth. The pediatrician handled the process of filling in the cavities seamlessly. A light anesthesia was applied and it was as if our daughter didn’t feel a thing during the operation. She came out very happy, no fuss, and even doesn’t mind coming back. Maybe the TV on the ceiling played a role in her enjoying the visit too!
Dr Linn was amazing with my petrified 2 year old son. His staff was very patient and accommodating! They had a tv on the ceiling and gave my son toys to play with. They made me and my son feel comfortable and he gave me lots of time to ask questions.
Dr. Kim was super patient and friendly, and she got my very scared 4 yo to sit in the chair by himself and follow all her prompts. She explained every step, and let him sit upright and hold a mirror to see everything she was doing. It was a huge milestone for a kid who was crying, stalling, and trying to hide. Thanks to Dr. Kim and her staff, we can expect to have a very positive experience at the dentist.
Wonderful and kind staff from front desk to the Drs, they were all so professional and made my nervous 6 yr old feel very much at ease. They took the time to explain what was happening (2 filings) in a way a young kid could understand and we were done much quicker than expected. For a first visit my 5 year old son at first was nervous and scared but once he met the dentist he loved her. She explained everything before and while doing any procedure. What was even cool for him and I was while he had to open his mouth and look up to the ceiling there was a televisión connected to the ceiling with a popular kids movie to keep him distracted while she is doing her exam. Great place for small children that are fearful of dentist. All their fears will go a way when leaving this dental office. Office is kid friendly and staff are polite and patient.
I struggled to find a good pediatric dentist in NYC since we moved. My daughters last dentist on the Upper East Side was impersonal and got right down to discussing a multitude of procedures, which apparently needed to happen asap. I was not thrilled.After doing my research on what my insurance (Metlife) covered, I found Slim Dental and just had my daughters checkup with Dr. Lin. I was so impressed with his demeanor, how rationally he explained his answers to my questions, and the clean and calm setup of this practice.Highly recommend Dr. Lin and Slim Dental if you want a dentist who is genuinely nice to kids and has a great bedside manner. Also, surprise, surprise - he didnt push for any of the services that were highly necessary as deemed by the other dentist. Always worth getting a second opinion!

Dr. Ahn at Slim Dental Kids is as caring and professional as you would hope a pediatric dentist would be. She was kind and patient with my 12 year old daughter who was anticipating pain in having a simple extraction. Dr. Ahn used a special numbing technique, explained every step and made sure my daughter was calm and comfortable. This was my daughters first visit and she now wants Dr. Ahn to be her general dentist. Great office!!

Dr yasmin! Amazing dentist who captivated my 3 yr old who was traumatized by other dentist visits. In 20 mins she resolved 2 cavities and my daughter walked away without a tear... Even a smile.
My toddler had a traumatic experience here and hopefully he doesnt fear the dentist going forward. Needless to say we will not be going back here.

Adorable nursing and administrative staff, who do everything possible to provide the best support to anxious children. Here no bundles of paper to fill in, many procedures are computerized. The practice is clean, very well equipped, and pleasant. We are very satisfied with the follow-up for our children.

2022-05-06Amazing experience! Brought my 4 year old here for her first appointment and Dr. Kim really knew how to make her comfortable. Couldn’t believe how smooth everything went, given that my daughter is usually very afraid of doctors. Very child friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend.

2022-01-12Great experience - everyone is friendly and helpful. It is a bit interesting to be in there, due to all of the decorations for kids, but the staff are certainly trained for adults. It was one of the most comfortable cleaning experiences, they walked me through x-rays and explained the tests they did to test my oral health, and then they give a heated towel at the end. Great place!

2022-02-19We go here since the boys were very young. It’s very clean and the kids love their high tech TVs on the ceiling with Netflix shows of their choice. Plus, they take our insurance. The dentists are all good and quite wonderful with the kids. We saw Dr. Tracy twice over the past year and a half, and she is especially nice and excellent at dentistry, a thorough explainer if you ask questions. The front desk staff and the dental assistants are very sweet as well.

2022-07-13I would not recommend SLim Dental Kids for adults for these reasons:1)I wanted to have an appointment with dentist Maria Muniz, but they gave me other dentist and they did not give me the opportunity to choose another one.2)They did many x-ray on me even if I just told them to do oral exam and cleaning. They told me that all x-ray were needed for oral exam but this is false: I had oral exams before in other places and x-ray were no needed. Of course they charged all these x-ray to my insurance, which I did not know. They took $350 from my annual deductible $2,250. Also they don’t give you copy of these x-ray nor even a receipt of all treatment you got. I felt totally scammed.3)You are in an open space while the dentist is working on you, so you don’t have any privacy, everybody can see you.4) After the oral exam, the dentist told me that I needed to come back many other times for deep cleaning (meaning that the regular cleaning they do is not very deep) and for crown. I did many oral exams before, the last one being last year and I was never told that. I had the feeling that they are trying to bring all the money from you that they can, which was a very ad feeling.

2022-05-18It’s very challenging to find a good adult dentist in Manhattan. This office services adults on Wednesdays, and I have had nothing but excellent experiences from the front desk to the hygienists to the dentists. They always put the customer first, and that’s rare these days.

2022-01-05Amazing staff and fun extensive set up to make this experience the most seamless and enjoyable for kids. Fun videos everywhere, my son gets to pick what he wants to watch. Latest technology to get the dental results and information fast and immediate. And most of great staff that make my son love the experience even when he has cavities. 😂

2018-11-07My kids, 4 and 7 years, actually enjoyed their visit to the dentist thanks to Slim Dental Kids. They have TVs on the ceiling for the kids, which helped to calm my kids nerves, and Dr. Lin is an excellent pediatric dentist. I would definitely recommend Slim Dental to other families!

2021-10-24We’ve been coming here since the kids were 1 years old (almost 10 years now!). We switched dentist after we moved out of the city, but we love this place so much we switched back! Now we drive an hour into the city every 6 months for their bi-annual check-ups, because this practice is the best! Super friendly, professional, great with kids of all ages, beautiful space, and the wait-time is always less than 10 mins. Can’t say enough great things about this wonderful pediatric dental practice! Keep up the good work!

2021-11-23Dr. Natalie Chaudhary and team were amazing. My daughter needed her two front teeth extracted and I requested to be discussed discreetly so my kid doesnt run out. They were able to pull her teeth without her knowing and was so happy to get her little teeth in a treasure box. I absolutely loved how they took care of the whole situation and making sure my daughters dentist experience very positive.
