If you have to go to the dentist, this is the place to go. Everyone is warm, kind and welcoming. They don’t suggest unnecessary procedures and they’re great with nervous patients.
I’ve been coming here for almost ten years. They have hired great people here over the years, and I always feel like a person when I come here. I have spent time at both their Rockefeller and Murray Hill offices, but I now stick to Rockefeller, because Dr Park is hands down the best dentist I have had in my life. She is warm, personable, very thorough, and always helps me understand the details of whatever she is doing.She really cares.As a result, she has helped me turn around my prior cavity-filled life, and I now have years of checkups without cavities.Dr Kai is also someone I spent a lot of time with for a dental implant after I had a cracked tooth become infected. He’s fantastic, always seems to be smiling, and clearly knows what he is doing.Crowns, root canals, and an implant I have had done here early on have not had any problems 5-10 years later. Additionally, I often find myself teaching my friends things the Slim Dental team has taught me, when they are facing their own dental issues.From the hygienists to the people at the front desk, I never expected to enjoy going to the dentist, but they all make my experience amazing, and as painless as possible. I cannot recommend them enough!Finally, on the topic of Covid, I have been very conservative/careful through the pandemic, but started returning to the dentist in Oct of 2020. I have never felt uncomfortable here. They have spaced out appts to keep the waiting room clear, and clearly take things seriously. If you’re anxious about indoor spaces, they’re at least as serious about it as you are. Probably more.

I had a great experience with SlimDental and while I rarely leave reviews, the dental hygienist (Tamara) and the entire Dental team were great. Tamara noticed an issue with a bonding that had broken off my tooth years ago and she said I should have the remaining portion removed to prevent a cavity. No one had ever noticed it before. Everyone is very detail-oriented, professional, and kind there.
Going to the dentist Can be nerve racking for most people but Anne, Jasmine and Dr. Khalil are amazing. They were all very welcoming and friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of being in the office with each and everyone one of these lovely ladies.

I can no longer recommend this practice. After they told my son he needed a deep cleaning I got a bill for over $1,000 that was not covered by insurance. Astounded that they would perform a service of that expense without explaining that it might not be covered. I was furious and told them never to perform that service again. A year later and today my son went back and what do you know, they performed another $500 deep cleaning. Feels like this is a huge scam. We will be finding an alternative dental practice.
I have had a great experience for years. Very professional staff. No wait time. Dr Park is amazing. She’s very knowledgeable and she does not push for unnecessary treatments. I highly recommend her and her team.
I can’t say enough about Dr. Lim and his amazing team. I’ve been seeing him for several years and have recently began the process of having an implant done with him and his team (Dr. Kye). They are truly the best and have gone above and beyond to make me feel as comfortable as possible. The scheduling staff has helped me out on NUMEROUS occasions and always go out if their way to work with my unpredictable schedule. Dr. Lim is a simply the best and I recommend him to everyone I know.
Dr. Lim and the entire staff are exceptional in the field of dentistry but also in their compassion. There is a sense of calm and peace in the office - and it is just steps from the gorgeous Morgan Library & Museum at 37th & Madison Ave.

I initially chose Slim Dental Rockefeller Center based upon the location. My services were regular cleaning and structural work. The staff were professional, informative, and friendly. My needs required two different appointments and they were all within a week and a time that was convenient for myself and Dr. Schwartz . Dr. Schwartz did a phenomenal job on my teeth and actual made the appearance better. I left the office smiling with confidence and will continue my business with Slim Dental.

My bill more than doubled from the time I sat down till the time I got to the desk.I don’t have an issue paying for great care but I do have an issue with being told I’m paying a certain amount and then having that doubled with no change to the service I’ve received

Always a great experience. The Rockefeller center location is super conviennent, clean, and the staff is super friendly. Automated reminders for appointments is helpful. No pressure for unnessary procedures. Love this practice.
I originally liked this place because of one doctor there: Dr. Kye! Infections had been building for about 10 years, and their time had finally arrived.I had researched for an office with relevant diagnostic equipment, in case of structural problems. Aside from a little gum disease, only 2 infections needed to be cleaned out...down to the bones, as it turned out.Dr. Kye was the proverbial empath of folklore.He was able to get right to the, ahem, root of the issues. So, he dug all the way to the bone on tooth #19, replacing it with an implant and saving a loose #20 by encouraging me to leave it alone to heal on its own, which it did do.Then, he cut off a 3-tooth bridge post, #13, cleaning out that infection and replacing #s 13 and 12 with a double implant, and re-capping #11.Brilliantly done. I paid out of pocket, about $20 grand.Lately, the doctors there have shown me that a criticism I once wrote in this space was unfounded. A patient should be aware of his needs and be prepared to limit the scope of treatments. I correctly turned down offers to pull out 2 wisdom teeth and to reconfigure an old 3-tooth bridge.Also, a double implant that lacked space to floss, did, as it turned out, have enough space for Waterpick to stream-clean. The doctor saw, and I felt, cold water streaming through the tiny space. Also, a hard-to-find cavity in a wisdom tooth was photographed and repaired.All the doctors there, as well as the hygienists, used the state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment like seasoned pros! I recently became quite impressed. Ergo, an upgrade.
Had a clean and exam here, where is very close to my office. I got very detailed and patient exam and cleaning as well as a complimentary gift set! Will keep trying their other services

2022-07-15I have been visiting Slim dental for a few years recommended by my friend. I did my cleaning, filling, night guard and whitening all here. The service is great and the environment is super clean. My Dr is Dr. Liu, assistant name Courtney and Chona. Front desk Ann, Shenelys and Amber, thanks for all these years’ service helping me. They are great and I highly recommend this place.

2022-06-22So to be fair, I never received any dental work from this office, and what a-shame! I only made it to the reception area. I made an appointment at 9am for a cleaning. I arrived on time with all paperwork filled out before I came to appt. The receptionist was horrible! From the moment I arrived, to me abruptly leaving because of poor service. I was in the waiting room and another guy came in office, Mind you; I’ve been waiting patiently at least 10mins before the other patient arrived. Once I noticed that the other patient was called in for service before me, I immediately made my concern known to receptionist. Her reply was sorry. As I replied ‘don’t be sorry, be better!’ I left because my time is just as valuable as the white guy who came after me, but was given service 1st. The receptionist bias’s where clear as day! I deserve better and decided to share my story. Do better and be better for other potential patients!

2022-05-14Hygienist, Veronica, was amazing. She was very communicative and gentle. I had one bad experience with a different hygienist who clearly did not want to be working. I opted not to continue with the check up and rescheduled for another day with a different hygienist.

2022-08-03I got into a bike accident and I cracked few teeth and my old veneers fell off and my teeth were total mess! I found slim dental on social media and the advertisement was so convincing it said accidental With a broken tooth picture so I decided to give them a call and made appointment to see Dr. Lim. Dr.Lim is a wonderful person and very professional and all his staff members as well, he knew exactly what he needed to do and made sure I was okay with everything because the job was big and I had to replace all my teeth. I love love my new teeth thank you slim dental for giving me the confidence back and I am so happy with the results! I will definitely come back and also I recommend everyone to come see Dr. Lim he is AMAZING!!!

2022-09-16Profits over Patients will definitely not help this practice grow.Originally made an appointment for a first time patient visit and cleaning on Aug 16th. The earliest availability at that time was Sep 19th. After email confirmation, they called and asked for the appointment to be rescheduled to Sep 23rd, because the time was no longer available - despite having made it online though their automated system and receiving confirmation. Then on Sep 14th they called and to say an appointment had opened up on the 16th, and would I prefer to come in earlier - and I said sure.Today I went in and had x-ray and cleaning. The dental hygienist had me at a bad angle, because I kept choking on the water and having to move the suction around - which is fine. I was told Id need some follow ups. When I went to make the appointments, I was pushed to make one for Sep 19th. After I explained it was not a good day, only then was I informed that the practice will no longer be accepting my insurance after Sep 21st.Seems to me, they knew full well when moving my appointment from the 23rd to the 16th that they wouldnt be carrying my insurance anymore - but had me come in and go through everything in the hopes that I would pay out of pocket to stay with them. Apparently they prefer to put their business profit ahead of their patient experience, and expected loyalty for it.Now I must transfer my xrays from todays visit to another dentist to do the procedures - or pay for a 2nd round of xrays with a new dentist...all for their profit.

2022-08-27My son had to get an emergency root canal and the staff was so accommodating: the UES and Rockefeller location staff coordinated and managed to squeeze us in and Dr Choi did a phenomenal job. The dental hygienists and doctors were so good at allaying my son’s fears and the procedure went swimmingly. Highly recommend for both adults and kids!

The team is top notch, the quality of care is excellent, and their obsession with detail and caring service is unparalleled. You wouldn’t expect that from a dental practice, but it makes you wonder why others don’t care just as much. They’re great practitioners and just great people.

2021-07-08My experience with Slim Dental has been excellent throughout the years. Staff there are extremely professional - from the front desk personnel, the dental cleaning technicians to the doctors. I have had several different doctors and they are all highly skilled, knowledgeable and efficient. AND they are all very kind. My current doctor, doctor Park, is no exception. She is incredible. I could not recommend her and this office highly enough!
