This place is very unresponsive. I met two recruiters at a job fair who said theyll forward my info and resume to the hiring managers and I dont even think they did. Ive sent out several emails to three different staff members there to follow up and its been weeks with still no response from any of them. This is not a good look for them at all and completely unprofessional.

Ive worked as a freelance photographer on several SASF projects and was impressed on how well-organized and executed the events have been. Looking at the photos Ive taken of the kids, parents, and teachers at events ranging from basketball tournaments to tours of local colleges to fashion shows to the performing arts, its clear that the kids and teachers and SASF staff and volunteers put a lot of heart and effort into the activities and are very invested in the outcomes. SASF provides opportunities for experiences and chances to develop skills that a lot of the kids might not otherwise have.

Poor communication. I went thru the interview process, collected references, transcripts, and was all cleared to begin work with SASF. They began to ignore my emails and phonecalls. I never heard back from them again although they continue to recruit new teachers on job sites and craigslist.It makes you wonder if the money they generate is actually serving kids in after school programs or just for their rather large administrative staff.

This program is a constant short change to minority kids. They send buses that lack cool air and cause heatstroke for young kids. They do not follow through on what they promise to give their participants. Some of the directors have no real interest in seeing these kids succeed, their check keeps them coming back and when that is the motivation the kids will suffer. My child is a part of the program and I am trying to alert head quarters of the distorted versions of what SASF is suppose to be.

OMG the Spring Showcase last night had to be one of the best school program performances that I have ever personally attended. The level of professionalism and precision and expert execution was seriously, reason to brag and be super proud.I didnt get a chance to earlier, but I had to take the time out to say Congratulations and BRAVO to you and the SASFNY team.Being able to attend and see the investment in the students, made me that much more excited about partnering with SASFNY.- Valerie Jeannis​

I have never seen such lack of respect from an organization. Receptionist at headquarters is extremely rude and condescending. He refused to answer any questions and lacks the professionalism necessary for his position. If you need to speak to someone at this office, you have a better chance emailing because he wont answer the phone either.

New york edge is a horrible place.THe staff are very disrecpentfull.YOu cannot ask them a question without them giving attitude.

They share the building with Staples. However, the parking lot in the front the building is only for staples. You will get ticketed and towed if you park there.
