I accompany my aunt to Dr. Kathy Feng for her hearing issues at New York Hearing Center. My aunt is very pleased to have Dr. Feng as her Audiologist. We both appreciate her kind demeanor, her knowledge & experience in her field. She is very accommodating. Dr. Feng is very professional and addresses all of her patients concerns patiently & diligently. We have been to several Audiologist prior to going to Dr. Feng. By Far, she is the best Audiologist that we have been to in every and all respects. We highly recommend her and her friendly office staff/environment to anybody who is seeking the assistance of a perfect audiologist.
There are not enough stars to give Dr. Feng and her staff. My grandmother always hated wearing her old hearing aid from a previous audiologist and complained it made her feel dizzy. This was our first visit to Dr. Feng’s office. She made my grandmother feel at ease and made everything so easy. She fitted my grandmother with a light weight hearing aid that was perfect for her. I highly recommend Dr. Feng and cannot thank her enough. This has been a life changing experience for my grandmother as well as for our whole family.
She is a wonderful doctor. My dad had issues with his hearing aid, and she was very helpful in the whole process. Thanks to her, my dad listens much better than before. I highly recommend anyone with hearing problems to visit her. The best doctor for hearing issues so far that we have experienced.
Kathy Feng is a wonderful professional as well as being an extremely nice person. She took all the time needed for my hearing test and then gently told me the problems she found and the solutions she suggests. Her office is pleasant and the people working with her are also very nice and helpful. Kathy went out of her way to accommodate my needs and even opened the office once on a day it was supposed to be closed, since I was flying the next day. I accompanied my mum here and Dr. Kathy Feng attended to us. She was attentive, informative, patient and kind in her service to my mum. She was also very friendly. These are qualities of a committed and competent professional. They also have a great assistant/receptionist, Kelly who was nice and helpful too.We were satisfied at the end of our visit to say the least. I highly recommend Dr. Kathy and her team at New York Hearing Center.
Kathy is beyond amazing a few years ago I brought my father to her office and she was able to help him, imagine after 64 years of not hearing what it felt like for him to be able to hear thanks to Kathy. Today I was able to bring my brother to her office with the same issue she worked her magic on him and thanks to her skills and generosity this young boy will be able to start having a fuller life and new experiences. We will forever be grateful to her. If you are looking for an excellent audiologist there’s no need to look any further.
Greetings,I’ve been a patient of Dr. Fengs for 2 years now. Her initial examination was top notch. She went into many details after my exam.She recommended a type of hearing aids that went with my needs.Recently went back to update the firmware that’s needed periodically for most good hearing aids.It’s always a pleasure to see her & her staff.Anyone would be glad to see her to help improve their hearing.
Audiologist Kathy Feng and her team provide great service! Kathy is able to patiently listen, advise and ultimately satisfy the needs of even the fussiest of nonagenarians. She is also a great go-to person for hearing aid repairs. Professional, knowledgeable and friendly team!
Dr. Feng is amazing. She has helped my 91-year-old parents get the right hearing aids, understand how to best use them, connect them to their phones, and even advise the family (we routinely bring 3-4 family members to appointments) on how to best help them afterwards. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND her and her team!
A wonderful experience!I purchased custom-molded musicians earplugs from here a few weeks ago. Dr. Feng explained details of the molding process very clearly, and carefully applied and removed the impression foam.Once the plugs came in, she patiently taught me how to insert, remove, and clean the plugs, which work extremely well - great clarity and superb protection for practice and performing.Im very happy that I went through with this, and am glad to have done so through New York Hearing Center!
Dr. Feng and Sandy are wonderful.She came highly recommended by a top custom in ear monitor manufacture for impressions. I went to her for a different issue in a time of need and she accommodated me on New Year’s Eve with the upmost professionalism, kindness, empathy, and compassion. She made a special call to have me see another doctor again on New Year’s Eve. I couldn’t be more thankful and I’m so happy that there are other good people out there. I also I am a surgeon, and try to provide this high a level of care to my patients. So it is even more appreciated when I am the patient.Follow up:I had a second visit today and Dr. Feng again exceeded my expectations. She spent an appropriate about a time with me.She is very methodical and thorough with her craft. She is a perfectionist and her dedication is obvious and extremely appreciated.

Dr. Kathy Feng evaluated my 90 year-old father for a hearing aid last summer. She was professional yet warm, as was her staff, both at her Mott St. office and in Brooklyn. Dr. Feng was particularly patient with him in all the follow-up appointments. She and her staff also go out of their way to accommodate my schedule during my brief visits to NYC. The hearing aid she provided seems simple enough for Dad to use and has greatly improved his social interactions. Im so happy that we can now have a conversation over the phone with reasonable success. Though Dad usually resists going to many of his routine medical appointments, I have no problem persuading him to visit the audiologist. Thank you Dr. Feng!
Went with Pop to try to convince him to get a hearing aid. Going in, I knew it would be a challenge. The Doc made it educational, professional and pleasant as possible. Personally for this patient per se.. was a good experience. lol.. going to the doctor office .. you never know what you will get ... but in this case.. a healthy one. Have a good one!
Dr. Feng is great! She is very polite, professional and nice. She did a hearing test to me and she explained the results when she finished.I didn’t have to wait long time. The office is very clean and neath. They also have little tables, chairs and games for children.
I love coming here. I feel like I am coming to visit a friend who happens to know a lot about hearing aids and audiology. Ive only been coming here a few years and feel like Ive been a regular for decades. Dr. Kathy Feng gets 5 stars from a person who has over 42 years of experiences with hearing aids and audiologists.
I get all of the wonderful reviews. I wasnt expecting the location but the staff and doctor were just fantastic. They have a patient for life with me... I just went in for a test and evaluation and the doctor was so fun and so thorough. I trust her completely and so grateful to have met her.
Due to the coronavirus I was able to bump up the date of my appointment. Dr. Feng and Sandy the receptionist was very pleasant, there was no wait and was in the examination room right away. I found them to be very knowledgeable and professional and was extremely please with her explanation of my problem. Would recommend her to others.
Simply put Dr. Fang is the BEST. I have been going to New York Hearing Center for over a year now and she has been a wonderful and caring doctor to me. Wonderful bedside manner and understanding of budget and needs when it comes to the issues of hearing impairment. Very bright woman. five stars! and they have saturday hours !!! awesome!!
Ive been treated by both Kathy and Winnie--each is very competent and has a warm personality. Theyve accommodated all of my needs, including emergency situations, such as sudden hearing aid failures. They have gone the extra mile to help me through insurance issues and repair processes. They take whatever time necessary to explain results and to recommend and adjust treatment. I have never felt rushed--we always have time for a personal conversation, as well. An excellent clinical experience. I cant recommend them highly enough.
This place really is the greatest. Is it fancy? No. Is it efficient and on time and straight forward? Yes. Im an architect and the service couldnt be more helpful, efficient or kind. And I am on my second test period, using a 2nd different pair of free demo hearing aids without paying a thing yet. The doctor really wants me to be happy and to hear as well as possible. What more can you ask? Could not recommend more. And pick up dinner on the streets of authentic Chinatown on your way out! Wishing them all the best. PS--Im giving 4 stars not because the service and expertise wasnt 5-star, but because I heard somewhere that people tend to write off and ignore knee-jerk 5-star ratings.
The reception area and office have a nice aesthetic. The wait wasnt too long, and they make sure to answer any questions you have. If you visit Dr. Hermand P. Lams office, they directly refer you to the New York Hearing Center to perform any hearing examination you may need,and their offices arent far. I was able to perform my hearing examination on the same day as my consultation visit.
On my first visit, Dr. Kathy Feng was telling me frankly about how my poor hearing affected my communications and relationships with others. I agreed with what she said. In just one week, I had my hearing test and hearing aid set up with the professional help of Dr. Feng. Thanks, Dr. Feng!

I had an emergency. My hearing aid broke on Friday night. I could barely hear. There are no audiologists available on Saturdays. I was so upset that I could not get to my dr until Monday. I found New York hearing center online. I called and they gave me an appointment in the spot. They were professional and very nice. My hearing was fixed and I could enjoy the rest if my weekend. I want to thank Kathy Feng for doing an excellent expertise for helping me pick the right digital hearing aids that meet my budget needs. I found Kathy via internet when I was looking for someone who can repair my analog Personic 625 hearing aids that broke. Kathy answered my emergency email immediately and she suggested that I come into her office to look into my broken hearing aids. She said that she can have my hearing aids fixed and she suggested that I go for the digital hearing aids because the manufacturer doesnt make analog hearing aids anymore. She was able to work with my insurance company so I can get the digital hearing aids. Karen did an audiological exam and then she suggested that I try for Phonak Q50 which meets my budget and matches my profound to severe hearing loss range. The custom earmolds were excellent as well. Kathy’s service was very informative and she was very professional and patience. Im very happy with her service and highly recommend Kathy. The receptionist, Audrey is very reliable in answering to all my emails. Now I’m able to hear very well with my new two digital hearing aids!Best Regards to Kathy and Audrey, thank you again. Glenn

Ive had hearing loss for most of my life and would rate NYHC among the best in terms of ease of setting-up appointments, and follow-up communication. Im a bit younger than most who need aids so I began the process feeling pretty bad. Then I stepped into NYHCs office and began to feel much better. Winnie was amazing. Ms Feng is great with a wonderful personality. I got my custom ear plugs and they work great for my construction jobs.
If you are looking for hearing testing or hearing aids, this is the place to go. Start with professional and knowledgeable. Add that they will go out of their way to get you what you need with an honest evaluation of you hearing and without trying to sell you something you dont need. Did I mention these are really nice people? It doesnt get any better than this.

Audiologists Winnie and Kathy Feng at New York Hearing Center have literally made the quality of our lives better. Tom has had hearing problems for many years now but being 57 yrs old in a tough workforce he didnt want to look old. After much pleading from myself and the kids he finally agreed to see an audiologist. Winnie was extremely professional and gave Tom options as to what types of hearing aids are available and how they really are very inconspicuous. Tom is very comfortable in the hearing aids and the ringing in his ears has stopped. Winnie has Saturday hours and if there is a problem her receptionist is more than accommodating. We highly recommend the services of New York Hearing Center.The TV volume used to be on 63 and now it is set at 17!

2022-04-19New York Hearing Center is excellent !They are professional , knowledgeable, expert, kind, respectful and totally client friendly. They have a wonderful staff and there services are complete. They perform hearing tests and have extensive knowledge about hearing devices. 2021-12-28I found the New York Hearing Center 15 years ago and have been using their service since. Dr Feng is the consummate professional. Dedicates ample time to the assessment and hearing test and to the adjustment of my hearing aids whenever that has been necessary. The administrative staff is very personable and so responsive by phone. Even though were from out of state we return to the center when we need to.

2021-09-14The staff are welcoming and helpful and just simply very nice and makes the visit pleasant . The doctor is fantastic. She carefully and in detail makes sure everything is working properly and she is patient with your particular problems and helps work out whatever is at issue. She goes the extra mile. I recommend NY Hearing Center to everyone. And their prices are reasonable and makes it possible for people like me, senior on low income social security, able to acquire a second hearing aid if needed!

2021-08-12Dr. Kathy Feng and her staff are professional and personable. My father was experiencing slight hearing loss, tinnitus and vertigo and they saw him right away on a Saturday. Dr. Feng explained the results to us right after the test and figured out what was wrong. They found and referred us to an ENT for treatment on the same day. The entire appointment was seamless and I would recommend them to anyone looking for an audiologist!

2019-08-31Dr. Feng is an excellent audiologist. She fitted me with very good, light weight, fine tuned European made hearing aids The best Iever had. The office is very organized, with very short wait time,.They took care of insurance and the whole process was stress free. She treats all kinds of patients with kindness, dignity and respect.I am very happy I found this place and will return.

2020-10-20After reading all these glowing reviews on NY Hearing Center, I decided to take my extremely hard of hearing grandma to see if they could help get her a good hearing aid. Sandy and the front desk couldnt have been nicer and more patient from the very beginning. Dr. Feng is incredibly honest and detailed - she even had me go into the booth momentarily to play the lowest decibel my grandma could hear. This really helped me understand (along with her clear explanations) what my grandma could/couldnt hear. Highly recommend!

2018-10-19Dr Feng is personable and dedicated to excellent service. If you need to feel like a family member is your ear doctor, then visit her office at the New York Hearing Center.I have accompanied my mom to this practice under this doctor since 2013, after discovering it via so many impressive reviews by other patients. I havent been dissapointed till date.Dr Feng is now an adopted family member in my mind. She is knowledgeable, genuinely caring and willing to go the extra mile to ensure timely and complete service at all times.Shes the best that I know of among audiologists that Ive visited with my mom.

2020-08-05Dr. Feng spent a lot of time with my 97-year-old mother-in-law who has severe hearing loss, and was instantly able to get her hearing better by trying a variety of hearing aids. She has many brands, styles and price points so her expertise is MUCH better than visiting a hearing aid store with one brand. Dr. Feng also took into consideration the patients dexterity, and cognitive abilities (what style of hearing aid is she used to, and would batteries or charger be better?) We had the waiting room to ourselves and no virus concerns. The Manhattan office is only a mile from the Holland Tunnel. We pulled up outside and only had to walk 20 feet so it was all very convenient. Highly recommend.
