Dr. Cheriyan is very knowledgeable and has the hands to match!!! Over a year ago, I had a car run over my foot and still had limited motion in my foot...that was until Dr. Cheriyan got his hands on me.. After one treatment, my ankle was unlocked and I was able to progress my rehab to the point of running and playing sports again. Many thanks to a great Doctor and guy.
I can’t express how grateful I am to have been referred to Dr Cheriyan! I’ve suffered with jaw pain for years now due to a dislocated disk. I’ve gone for MRI’s and procedures with an oral surgeon with no positive results. I was told my only other option would be surgery so I came to terms with the fact that I’d be living with the minimal range of motion and pain for the rest of my life. A neighbor referred me to Dr Cheriyan and in my FIRST appointment, he was able to put my disk back in place!! He even helped with my neck and shoulders! He was so gentle and knew exactly what needed to be done. The pain was instantly gone and the swelling in my face ... GONE. I can not thank him enough and I definitely recommend him! He’s absolutely amazing ! If I could give him more than 5 stars I would !!

I have Ehler’s Danlos Syndrome Type 3, with several different other problems including joint dislocations and scoliosis. Doctor Cheriyan has helped alleviate the pain from all of these issues within two sessions, correcting multiple bones/joints etc and putting them where they need to be. I was suffering from a horrible migraine the first day I went to see him and was able to sleep through the night without any headaches or back pain after being treated. I would absolutely recommend him for anyone with chronic pain!
I experienced chronic neck and shoulder pain from an MVA about 5 years ago. I have seen dozens of massage and physical therapists, but honestly never felt any form of relief until I found Dr. Cheriyan. His knowledge of human anatomy, physiology and medicine surpassed my expectations. After just 2 consecutive sessions with Dr. Cheriyan, I no longer experience pain on a daily basis. I am grateful for his passion for helping others and highly recommend him for osteopathic manipulative treatment.
I initially went to see Dr. Cheriyan for a shoulder issue. I’d done something to my left shoulder and could barely lift my arm enough to wash my hair. Putting it in a ponytail was nearly impossible. My massage therapist sent me Dr. Cheriyan’s way, saying that rather than a muscle issue, he thought my shoulder was misaligned. Misaligned indeed. Dr. Cheriyan figured out what was wrong and shifted my shoulder back where it should be in a matter of minutes. It was like a miracle. While my arm felt a bit weak, I could move it all around and put my hand on my head with ease.With that tackled, I pointed him toward all my other problem joints...my right shoulder, my knees, my left ankle, my right elbow, my right wrist, my neck, my back even my tight jaw! If it sounds like I was a mess, it’s because I was. The neck and knees were the longest-standing problems. I’ve had neck trouble for roughly thirty years after suffering a whiplash and herniated disks. I had been seeing a chiropractor off and on for back and neck trouble, but my neck always stiffened up after adjustments. Not so with Dr. Cheriyan. He gently moves my head and neck around with no quick movements, and no “popping” it into place. He just gently coaxes the bones back where they need to be. I also have Scoliosis and needed weekly chiropractic adjustments for that too, but with Dr. Cheriyan I noticed that sometimes treating everything else takes care of my back. That is, I don’t need my back adjusted as much anymore.He’s worked wonders on every joint that was causing me trouble, including my knees, which had been bent and hurting for several years. I’d been through every kind of treatment one could think of for my knees, but just wasn’t improving. Dr. Cheriyan observed that the bones weren’t lined up properly. I can’t recall the specifics, but the bones below my knees were a bit twisted. Again, through movement and gentle coaxing, he was able to move them back to where they needed to be. My knees weren’t “cured” and back to normal, but the relief was immediate and the ease of movement I had afterward was surprising. I could go on and on about how my left ankle now has nearly full range of motion again, or how my right elbow is nearly back to its old self, yada, yada, but I think there’s a limit on the length of these things. :)I’m not saying his treatments are a quick fix. Because I’ve had most of my issues for years--some decades--the muscles needed time and consistent reminders to adjust to the new alignments. I’m happy to say the reminders are working and the adjustments are sticking. I’m so happy that I finally found something that works.If you have joint issues, back pain, or range of motion restrictions, I can’t recommend anyone better than Dr. Cheriyan to help sort things out. He is kind and gentle and sincerely wants to help.
Best doctor ever had an si joint problem and reffered coccyx pain couldnt sit for 6 months went religiously to different chiropractors all this time no success it took 2 sessions with doctor cherian in a 2 week span my pain reduced by 75% and is gone after a month as i m writing this .now i can sit i m overwhelmed and extremely grateful. Dr. Cheriyan is truly a gifted physician. He treats all kinds of pain with gentle manipulation including joint dislocations, migraines, syncope, herniated discs and gastrointestinal problems. His patients have been very satisfied with their results and I highly recommend him.
No words can describe how grateful I am that I found Dr. Cheriyan. I consider him a true Healer and Body Guru. Starting a series of his treatments this year has drastically improved the quality of my life and minimized my pain. Now I know why his patients call him “The Bone Whisperer.”I have had neck and spine problems since adolescences and my shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, and feet have been very problematic with joint, musculoskeletal soreness and fatigue.. the top half of my body if very hyper mobile.. he has been able to realign my bone structure gently. If I could give him 10 stars I would!
So I went to a Chiropractor who said it was a L5 and pinched nerve.I tried weeks of a Chiropractor with no long term relief.I tried Acupuncture and Cupping, I tried icing and stim. Nothing worked for me.I went to Dr. Cheriyan and in 1 visit, I went from a human pretzel all twisted to a place where I could stand straight up, sit up without pain. My entire body was out of alignment. Things that I knew hurt in my body but didnt know why he was able to address and help me.Dr. Cheriyan works on what is the root cause of the pain? I can now say that I can sleep thru the night. I can get in and out of the car by myself.I feel so much better and I am pain free.I didnt know what a DO or Dr. of Osteopathic Medicine was before I went to Dr. Cheriyan. Dr. Cheriyan is always very friendly and he treats my joints very carefully during my treatments. Without his amazing skillset my daily life would be much more painful and difficult, so I thank him every chance I get!
Dr Cheriyan treats my daughter who suffers from EDS. We like to call him the bone whisperer. My daughter visits him with joint subluxations. He takes his time to talk with her and treats her from the head to her toes. Her pain levels are lower since we have been seeing him. I can always see a difference in her personality after she sees him.
Hello, went to Dr Cherian about a week ago, very good hands. I have a troubled back and pelvis area ( chronic- decades) and Dr Cherian set it straight. His approach to OMT is very effective and thorough. I am definitely coming back here, for a follow up.The place is clean.I recommend this doctor.
Dr Cheriyan is an amazing doctor. He is very caring and gentle with his patients. He is very deserving of the title: THE BONE WHISPERER!
Literally changes the game!!!! Any tightness or pain gets fixed here. I workout and come to fix up any tightness or pain. Feel like a new person every time!

2022-06-12Dr. George Cheriyan has seriously changed my life. I have been living with chronic pain most of my adult life due to joint hypermobility. He is the only doctor to identify this issue and actually treat the issue in a way that completely relieves my pain. I cannot even remember a time I did not have lower back pain, but through his treatment plan I am able to finally get relief. I feel so much better after his treatment sessions, so much more full of energy and alertness. Dr. Cheriyan is also very knowledgeable and caring. He is not like most doctors where they only have 5 minutes to meet with you; his practice is centered around individualized care. He really listens to your concerns and works with you to create a personalized plan just for you. I cannot recommend Dr. Cheriyan enough!

2022-08-18This was a first time experience for me seeing an Osteopathic doctor, and it was great. Dr. Cheriyan really listened to my concerns, and spent time working through possible solutions. 2021-11-02My father recently had his first appointment with Dr. Cheriyan. He had struggled with shoulder pain for a couple of months and thought that he had to adjust to a new way of life in pain since he was unaware of how it began. Dr. Cheriyan proved him wrong!He was accommodating to his schedule, was extremely professional and knowledgeable, skilled with his hands and was incredibly compassionate and caring-all of the qualities that one looks for in a great physician.My dad left the office, after his treatment, with full relief of his pain and for that, I am extremely grateful for Dr. Cheriyan and his work. If you or anyone you know has suffered from any form of joint/back pain, please book an appointment with Dr. Cheriyan-I promise you wont regret it!

2021-04-02Dr. Cheriyan is a very knowledgeable and gentle practitioner with a great bedside manner and incredible sensitivity to the human body. He helped me recover from a finicky nerve in my hand (and ended up treating several more things troubling me in the same session) and has also helped my husband with some alignment issues over the past few years. Dr. Cheriyan explains his process and prioritizes transparency and holistic care. I wholeheartedly recommend him!

2020-11-01I recently had an initial consultation with Dr. Cheriyan for some low back pain I was experiencing. I am also an osteopathic physician, yet finding a DO who specializes in OMM is quite difficult as this is a lost art. Dr. Cheriyan explained everything he was doing in a calm, collected manner. I was really in rough shape with the low back pain and muscle spasms affecting my mobility and posture. After the treatment I felt like a new man! My low back pain improved dramatically, My right leg was no longer rotated outwards as Dr. Cheriyan adjusted my sacrum, and my overall flexibility and range of motion was drastically improved. The treatment was beyond worth it; I just question myself why I didn’t reach out to Dr. Cheriyan much sooner. If you have and structural/postural issues, run, don’t walk to see Dr. Cheriyan!

2021-07-20Doctor Cheriyan has changed my life! When I first went to him I was in pain from top to bottom. I have spinal injury which is a result of over use for many years. By the time I walked out of his office I was nearly pain free! After seeing so many doctors who never really helped me I was so happy to find one that could. The surgeon told me I would need surgery if shots didnt work. I dont want to do either one! I see Dr. Cheriyan every two weeks and he has given me a much greater prognosis and is a caring and concerned for his patients unlike many other doctors. Dr. Cheriyan may not take insurance and his fee is rather high but it has allowed me to see two less doctors and I to avoid surgery also I no longer need physical therapy. I am saving enough to afford the only doctor who has ever been able to help me!

2020-10-05I initially saw Dr Cheriyan 2 yrs ago, i had bilateral carpal tunnel syndrome. It was debilitating and painful. My activities of daily living was so affected, I saw a surgeon to have them released. I luckily spoke with an osteopathic student who recommended Dr Cheriyan. On my first visit, after he mapped out the treatment plan, and performed OMT, on my hands, immediately i felt, the tingling and numbness of my hands improved. I could see and feel the circulation to my hand and fingers. He showed me some stretching exercises that I still do. I had a second visit follow up. The strength and mobility of my hands are 100%. I highly recommend Dr Cheriyan. He is knowledgeable,skilled, kind, gentle with great bedside manners.

2020-02-12I saw Dr Cheriyan about 2 weeks ago to get treated for some back and neck pain that I have been dealing with for over a year. Being a physician practicing urgent care medicine, I work long hours and am standing for most of the day and then have bad posture while typing my notes, and being a DO myself, I have studied Osteopathic Manipulation and thought I had a good idea of what was wrong with me. After Dr Cheriyans assessment of my complaints and thorough treatment, I realized I didnt fully understand how jacked up my body truly was.From the time I walked into his office and began filling out the paperwork to be seen, Dr Cheriyan greeted me kindly and already began assessing me. He told me that he could see areas in my shoulders that needed to be addressed just by how I was writing on the forms! It was obvious that his training far exceeded mine and I trusted him to fix whatever problem areas he saw.Dr Cheriyan took his time treating me carefully and addressed every area I was concerned about and more. When I say I got a head-to-toe treatment, he literally cracked my neck, shoulders, back and popped my toes back into place! More than just being able to perform the maneuvers to crack joints, having the knowledge to do the neccessary, and oftentimes, time consuming work to get the muscles around those joints relaxed enough for them to pop back in is most important. It was clear that Dr Cheriyan wasnt just a whack em and crack em type of doc. He took the time neccessary to fully treat me.I walked out of the treatment feeling like a new man, but because I had let myself go too long without begin treated, I know that I will need more treatments to fully correct every problem area. Dr Cheriyan also reminded me it wasnt just the treatments, but my health is ultimately in my hands. He advised me on diet and exercise and basically reminded me to take care of myself in all aspects of my life - as is so easy to let slip through the cracks with a hectic job.Overall, my experience with Dr Cheriyan was excellent and I will be seeing him many more times in the future. I am so glad that I finally found a DO that I can see regularly and the treatment was worth every penny. If you are dealing with any sort of pain or musculoskeletal issue, I highly recommend you give Dr Cheriyan a call and see what he can do for you.

2020-01-21Dr Cheriyan is an amazing doctor. I actually refer to him as a magician because what he does feels like magic. He has changed my life. I have hyper mobile syndrome and am constantly sublexing and seeing him is the only thing that gives me relief. He makes me feel SO much better. One time, I sprained my ankle walking, and I had an appointment with him scheduled for that day, and he FULLY fixed it. He gently felt it and understood what was wrong, realizing I’d torn no ligaments but had actually just slipped different bones completely out of place. He put my entire ankle, knee, tibia, and foot back in place, and I left with no pain. He takes his time and makes sure you are taken care of. If you are considering going to see him, go. It will be SO worth your while. Also, Dr Cheriyan is just an all around cool guy who makes you feel safe validated and calm. Go see him it will change your life.

2019-11-03Dr George Cheriyan provided excellent care for the chronic neck/back pain I had, post car accident. For days, I could barely turn my neck and had frequent daily pains. After Dr Cheriyan spent ample time manipulating my back and neck, I felt the release of tension immediately. I am so grateful I went to Dr Cheriyan because now I am feeling pain free and at ease.
