So my post gets deleted never make it on here so I’m writing again. This place is no good would not help my family member with nothing but medication. When it comes to helping you get Medical paperwork from your treatment they say that can give that information even if it’s to get ssi so that you can have a better life. This place will not help you, they will watch you suffer. I’ve done my research and it says that if these doctors at this place don’t provide the information it will be a denied .. that’s what happen when you tell these people at this place they seem to be the ones who needs the help due to not helping people who have been coming here for 4 yrs and nothing is working…This place won’t help you unless your (Spanish) and that’s racist!!!!!.

Terrible center if I could rate it nothing I would.Been in 1/2 treatment since March we are now in July and I haven’t received appropriate treatment. They are actually not supposed to do one without the other but go figure. Doctors don’t even call and tell you anything they leave you to keep calling with no call back nothing.Don’t try to fax anything. They will “ never “ receive it even tho you might have proof on the end it was sent on. I hate this place.

Omg this place doesn’t even deserve 1 star, I been with this place about 1 year now and I regret not reading the reviews before wasting my time and energy here, this place and workers are horrible horrible with the most disgusting attitudes and lies, keep making apt with me and lying on me that I didn’t keep my apt, since Nov they keep postponing my apt without any meds, also they lost my EKG telling me I need new EKG and labs in order to get meds, are u kidding I thought ppl go to therapy for better treatment and help instead this place giving me more stress, please don’t come hereOne plus is that my therapist is not that bad, she’s understanding but I can’t stand the office and their management so poor in customer service

This place is great. My therapist is splendid, listens to me and encourages me to be better, in my studies and outside of academics. I have not been able to go to the clinic in person so Im not sure what it looks like, but most of my experiences here have been positive and friendly.

I lived in East New York for over 15 years, and New York Psychotherapy and Counseling Center, is the only psychotherapy center within our community.New York Psychotherapy and Counseling Center had a poor reputation among the community, especially parents. Schools in our districts, Youth Officers, even the Administration for Children Service will refer all their clients there.Over the decades the poor reputation developed due to pediatricians, doctors, and parents noticing the rise in medication through psych doctors. New York Psychotherapy will diagnose individuals just to medicate them. My daughter pediatrician at the time didnt agree with their practices with young children and adults in our community due to understanding every situation is different and not all situation is needed for medication. As a parent I was not appreciative of their reviews due to wanting to welcome therapy into my family. I called them and didnt agree with there professionalism, I opted out into going, that was almost seven years ago. Recently I wanted to go somewhere closer, and literally it was the same thing, everyone I spoke to refer me to them and stated they revamped their practice to accommodate the community more sufficient.Fast forward, I called them on July 19th, 2021 and intake stated I was unable to schedule a intake appointment due to me contacting them 7 years ago and they were unable to receive my information. I than spoke to an other intake counselor and stated I will not be able to do anything until three weeks because their full, I than ask to speak to a supervisor, which I receive voicemail which I left a message.I started to look for other services for a closer time frame. They ended up calling me two days later on the 20th & 21st, when I contacted them back several days later, Angie the intake specialist stated I wasnt in compliance. I had to start the process over, I was confused due to never even starting a process. I would of understood if I received and missed an actual appointment.I didnt think that was professional because I was told three weeks, and when I contacted several days later and not weeks. I was just told there were no appointments until the end of August and early September. I asked to speak to the supervisor which I was told was Alba to explain my situation, but it the same generic answer, she in a meeting she will call you back. This is not an amusement park like we just rotate in and out your office, this is not one stop shop where every situation is the same. When clients and future clients call, we should be treated with professionalism and respect throughout the whole process.People are in need of your services and before they can even receive them their taking through hoops which will create stress period. More compassion, empathy, and attentiveness should be displayed. How many other people are calling for services and unable to receive them due to a miss phone call.

Don’t expect people to respect you or your time if you’re poor. Get some self help books and pray because this institution exists for show and prescriptions.

I have Carolina Morales as my therapist I believe she is sad in her life. I feel like Im her therapist at time. Her supervisor must be horrible she wouldnt even approve companion letter for animal.I suffer from panic attacks since my daughter was removed from my care during a domestic violence dispute with my ex. I believe I may sue them for assigning me an unlicensed therapist. I wish her well on her journey but i dont believe shes fit to be a therapist. Im asking for a letter to end therapy its my right. I hope they comply with my request for one. I should of chose a better location for therapy. The end.

My 10 yr old sons case was closed because he would not get on the phone and was uncomfortable with the process. He has ADHD and impulse control issues. Plus during this time he and members of my family had covid! They wont reopen his case because of that! Telehealth doesnt help some children. You think as therapists they would get that.UPDATE: was told to call back by owner. I did and was told sorry my case was closed.

Ms Danielle Dore The Therepyst and her Supervisor need to be fired. The inconsistency there 😳they say u missed ur appointment. When they didn’t even call u. And or they Dnt. Poor experience with a therapist who was not a good mutual match over-all. Intake process was like a month. All sessions were on the phone. Then when I stopped attending sessions the company sent a mobile crisis unit to my home unsolicited.
