A friend of mine told me about this school, I was a little hesitant since I had a bad experience with another school, but let me tell you NYREI did not disappoint me at all. I called to enroll and spoke with Edreana Hampton. She has been so helpful to me. I encountered some challenges in my personal life while enrolled in school, when I explained to her what I was dealing with , she gave me the necessary guidance to stay on track. The professors are very knowledgeable. I recommend this institute to anyone who wants to become a Licensed NYC Real estate agent.
Great experience using their online platform to learn the real estate fundamentals during the pandemic. It was super convenient and easy to digest. Its a bit more pricey than other real estate schools but in my opinion it is definitely worth it ! I was more than prepared for the state licensing exam. The slides were so good i almost want to take the course again just because ! The fact that you can go back and review at your own pace is like the best ever.
In May of 2021 I decided to apply for a real estate licensing course with NYREI. The website is user friendly and the content is easy to read. Its divided up into many slides that are not overwhelming. I love that they have clips from instructors sharing from their experiences. There are review questions throughout each section that keep you clear on the material being taught. And my favorite part of this online course is that I can long in at night when my children are sleeping. I had a few questions about my upcoming exam so I called. I spoke with Edreana whom was so pleasant and helpful.
I was taking some random course earlier in the year and wasnt really absorbing any of the information. So I switched over to the New York Real Estate Institute, and re started my course work. I find this course extremely helpful and super easy to navigate. I highly recommend!also extremely helpful team behind the course making sure all of my questions get answered I love that the support isnt a robot, and that they have real people you can talk to if you need help.

I had a great experience at NYREI. Best school to start your real estate career with. I personally took real-estate sales person course and I passed my school exam in first try. instructors and staff are amazing, helpful and very professional, specially edreana , She is the best.
I took the 75 hour online course for real estate agent , did it at my own pace ,had no issues with it , very user friendly . Edreana Hampton in customer service was very helpful in guiding me through the whole process , very sweet and helpful. I took the NYREI state exam prep course with instructor Donald , he was to the point In breaking down what kind of questions and material we need to know for the state exam . I passed it on my first attempt !!! Very happy I chose NYREIWould def recommend it!

I have used the NYREI for sometime now and it is my go to continue education school of all time. Its conveniently located downtown and very flexible courses and hours. For example, I spoke with Edreana Hampton just to find out how things are being done due to Covid. Ms. Hampton was a pleasure to speak with. She understood my questions and gave me straight forward answers so that I know how to proceed to renew my Brokers License. She was very easy going and had a great sense of humor. I would recommend anyone to enroll in the NYREI.
L came to NYREI as an interest from a high school dream which i was told would never be possible. It took over 15 years to finally make the decision to enroll which is one i have no regrets of doing. I must admit i knew nothing, the thing i loved so much is being able to move at my own pace without being judged. The live classes, the textbooks, and even the online classes changed my life allowing me to appreciate the value NYREI offers. I may have passed the state test on the first try but knowledge last a lifetime. Kristen is a great and great lady, she is very professional and kind. As you known, i am a Chinese guy, there are so many other classes outside the city, some very cheaper, but i chose her class,you would learn a lot of very interesting stuff from her classes and her little hand books. I read 2 times and write down the answer from her book, i pass the school test in 1-1/2 month, most of the answers are from her class, take good notes, and for the state test, about 60% from this book or more, i am so impressed by her effort to write this book.her main points just like the music spreading in your head, and telling you that is the right answer on the test!!! I still remember the questions from the State test seen from her pass book.. it is like sunlight from the God... haha.. work hard and have fun. In less than 2 months, you will pass the RE State test...Once again: go to her class take all her notes, read her little green pass book. At least 2times, you will did a very good jobs!(I read every single words of the red test book and the Glossary it also helps and I learn a lot from it)
I decided to take their online course while going thru chemotherapy. They kept my mind busy, I had something to look forward too and they made my experience worth while. It was the best decision I made and the professors are friendly and extremely helpful. I highly recommend them and not to mention that Edreana Hampton is awesome!!!
Great classes, obtained my license through them. Some friends that I’ve spoken to, failed the test the first time through other methods. The test was a breeze. Passed it on the first try. Thanks NYREI! Awesome experience.
I am currently taking this course online due to Covid! This class so far has been very helpful, the information and help they give you at the nyrei is very useful. I can go at my own pace easily and give myself enough time to study. Edreana Hampton was a huge help as well as she answered every question I needed and problems I was having , Id recommend this institute to anyone who is interested in getting their license in New York!! The NYREI was overall a great institute for learning about real estate and preparing for the state exam. Most teachers were very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the materials and made sure that everyone understood the topics. I recommend taking your classes with Jim Watson when they are offered. I also recommend taking his tutoring sessions for both the school and state exam. I took both of them and felt very prepared and confident with the material. Also, if you have questions he is a good mentor to email as he is very good about replying thoroughly and promptly, unlike several of the other teachers. But again, overall I was very pleased with the education that I received from this institute and would definitely recommend it for anyone interested in getting involved in NY real estate.
So far Ive really enjoyed being able to do my courses online and in no rush. Ive been able to take my time and really learn the things I need. And The practice/ reviews on CompuCram are truly amazing. Edreana was also super helpful with letting me know what to do to schedule my exam!!! Thank you!
I knew absolutely nothing about real estate coming into this course other than an interest and I left feeling so much more knowledgeable. Kristen Baycorn’s classes are for sure the best! She makes learning light hearted and easy to understand. Some things can be a bit overwhelming but she breaks it down simply. The school itself offers great resources and are there for you. I passed both my state & school exams first try! I will actually miss going to classes. They’re the best!
I had a wonderful time attending NYREI. They offered great courses with a very flexible schedule. The instructors were professional and knowledgeable. Most of my courses were taught by Jim Watson who made it interesting and offered real life examples relative to the material in the chapter. I would highly recommend Jim Watsonand his teaching skills – they were outstanding. I passed my school test on the first try and the next day passed the state exam. Thanks Jim!

So I recently finished my 75 hours, and passed the school test first try. Kristen is by far the best instructor EVER! The way she teaches & make everything so simple for you to understand! You will never forget. I was so happy I had her most of the time. First 2 days I started she wasn’t teaching so I had Donald Lincoln which was my second favorite instructor ! As for Steve Goldberg you will not learn anything. He was a substitute and was just hard to understand! I literally stood for 2 classes because i needed the hours but wow I left not learning anything.As for the schedule it’s so easy to get by fast if you are consistent ! I’m glad I attended this school. Everything you need is there ! + Kristen’s real estate exam pass book is a bible! All you need is this book and take her notes + listen to her and you will be great. I hope this helped !

New York Real Estate Institute is the best institute for real estate. The instructors are very knowledgeable and very humble, and they love doing what they do. Specifically, one of the instructor Mr. Jim Watson has made my learning experience very exceptional and fun. His method of teaching is unique and affective, which makes one want to learn more about this field and become passionate for it. Other instructors are very good too, but Jim Watson is exceptionally a tremendous teacher. I would highly recommend anyone to go to NYREI to take there 75 hours of real estate classes, and if possible take most of them with Jim Watson. I give this institution 5 stars.
Im shocked, to see negative reviews about this school, had nothing, but positive experience. After attending, I accomplished my goal, passed all two examinations, by the state of New York and NYREI school test. All passed from first try!To my opinion Kristen is the best teacher in NYREI ( Manhattan location on 36th St) . Her classes were very interesting, she used her personal career knowledge in teaching class. Cant say anything bad about other instructors, but you defiantly wont fall asleep in class with Kristen. Highly recommend purchasing her book, if you are having difficulties with the material (I perched mine on Amazon, but I think school sells them too).Kristen is not only a good teacher, but she also has a good heart, she donates a portion of the profit from selling her book to a charity who protects sheltered pets.
Kristen is definitely the best teacher over there... I completed my 75 hours in 2017, I got overwhelmed with the subjects so I just did not take the test at the time.. Last month (after two years) I decided to go through the exams and I knew that I forgot everything considering the fact that I didn’t look at the book for the past two years.I didn’t want to attend the classes all over again or confuse myself with reading that thick (500 pages) book at home so I got Kristen’s book and studied it so so so well (like reading it 3-4 times and taking notes and reviewing my notes everyday) and attended her tutorial class once and I passed both school and state test the first time. She is the best teacher and her book covers all important subjects you need to know to pass the exams.
My experience at NYREI was fantastic, largely due to instructor Jim Watson. Thanks to his outstanding instruction, I was prepared to take my school and state exams within a month of making the decision to start a new career in real estate. He is clear and concise when in comes to instruction and test prep, yet his knowledge goes far beyond the required curriculum, and he will enrich your understanding of many aspects of the industry. I took the real estate classes online . I had a great experience with finishing the course at my own pace . I did not have one problem . When I finished I was able to call and get a quick answer. I spoke with Edreana Hampton on the phone and she was so sweet , nice and helpful .

The instructors are well prepared and they always combined their experiences in the field to make the student understand more clearly every chapter in the Book. I specially like Jim Watson and Kristen Bacon as instructors, so i recommend you to take their sessions the most you can. I will be back for my continuing education!
When I started researching where to study for my Real Estate Salesperson license, the only logical choice was NYREI. The flexible class schedule fit my lifestyle perfectly and I was able to finish in 4 weeks.Each instructor is different and each one of them was exceptional in their own way. It was a lot of fun having different teachers throughout my time at NYREI.But what proved most valuable to me were my tutoring sessions with Jim Watson. Both the School Exam and the State Exam Tutoring were invaluable experiences. I was confident going into each exam and passed both - the fact that I was able to sail through all 75 questions in under 30 minutes was the icing on the cake.Jim has the ability to take factual, some may even call dry, information and make it interesting and applicable to our future careers. His classes, as well as his tutoring, are engaging and a real pleasure.

I cant imagine a better school for real estate. The class schedule were very easy to accommodate. The additional tutoring was incredibly helpful. The recruiting was great. I really felt like the entire institution was really committed to the develop of successful new agents. I do have to give a special acknowledgment to Jim Watson. Jim is an amazing instructor. His experience in the field has made him an invaluable resource to students. Take as many classes with Jim as you can. Take his tutoring sessions as well.

NYREI was a great place to get my Real Estate License. I work full time so the nights/weekend classes were perfect for me. Especially the fact that even having to take 20 sessions along with missing some classes in order I was able to complete the course in a little over 1 month! Great professors with real life experiences are the best here too!
I feel that I got my moneys worth with New york real estate institute. the school costs twice as much as other schools in brooklyn. Jim is awesome and he was caring and dedicated. he helped me pass the state exam. on the first try! and then I was able to check out what different firms had to offer during all the recruiting sessions. The exposure and networking was great.
Ive been attending NYREI since 2007. It was great then and its great now. Theyre very friendly and helpful, from the assistants at the front desk (Rosio) to the instructors. Speaking of which, Jim Watsons Construction class is very engaging and creates excitement for a subject that may have not already have been. Hes very lively and you can tell he has a real passion for the subject and for everything Real Estate related. I took full advantage of the recruitment sessions, which made it easier for me to narrow down my search to one. Thank you NYREI!

This concept worked for me and my schedule as Im sure it did for many others.But much more than course accessibility I was grateful to be taught by an outstanding faculty of teachers, most especially Jim Watson, Kristen Bacorn, & Nancy Mosca.While all the teaching staff were qualified & brought to each class I attended real life experience these three went over & above an excellent standard already. I first started out by attempting to do the online course, but it was long and tedious. I then joined the NYREI classes and have never looked back! The flexible schedule was very convenient. Before and after most classes, there were recruiters from most NY real estate agencies to tell you about their firm and to answer any questions. This was especially useful to someone new to the industry and without knowing which way best to turn. Best of all were the teachers - particularly Bill Plunkett and Jim Watson. Bill wrote the textbook that we studied from and knows the material backwards and forwards. Jim brings 30 years of industry experience to the table and is very knowledgeable. Both instructors keep the classes interesting with personal experiences and dont read the book out loud to you. They also focus you on the material that you need to learn to pass both the school and state exams. Jim Watsons review sessions (one for the school exam and one for the state exam) are fantastic and worth every penny! He will hone you in on the key concepts and get you to study in an efficient manner. I couldnt be happier that I have started my career through NYREI - I have already learned so much, and am excited to start working in real estate!

This school is great. the instructors are superb and helpful. Jim is a character! You really have to see him in action.the location is super convenient. right in the heart of the city. and the schedule is also really flexible. They offer night classes, which is good because I have a full time job.this is also a great place to make contacts and network. im now friends with several of the instructors and weve stayed in touch and theyve really helped me out along my path.I was very impressed with this school. 5 out of 5.Oh and they use mics which is really important because usually i end up sitting in the back because Im running in after work.

I enjoyed my classes at NYREI and finished my courses quickly with there scheduling. Jim Watsons teaching was great and not reading straight from the book.I took his school test tutoring class and it helped a lot with passing the school test.I enjoyed his teaching and now that i am licensed am looking forward to some of his CE classes.
Working with Jim Watson and NYREI has been a great experience. As I continue my real estate education they are always there to answer my questions and in an expedient manner of time. The New York Real Estate Institute has many extremely experienced and knowledgeable individuals whom give great advice. They do a great job in preparing individuals prepare for the real estate salesperson exam as well as inform the students of extremely useful tips to implement once one is practicing as a real estate salesperson. I would definitely recommend the institute to others.

I enjoyed all of the classes that I attended at NYREI. The teaching was done in a way so that anyone could understand even the most complex real estate examples. What I enjoyed most were the visits from different brokers, all competing to hire YOU. I recommend this school if you would like to get a top level education in New York Real Estate.
I have just a few more classes to go. So far its been very good .Opportunities for additional support and continued support are plentiful. The flexible schedule has been very helpful for me in juggling work and family. The teachers are quite varied in their styles yet all hit the material dead on. Good experience so far.I looked forward especially to attending Jim Watsons classes. He always held my attention. He moves quickly through the material and is just conversational enough to keep me caring. Thorough, interesting, and fast-paced - he creates an ideal learning environment.You wont be disappointed.
I highly recommend this school. They are so accommodating with there schedule. My brother and I both took classes here and just passed both of our tests on the first try. We took all our classes with Kristen Bacorn she is truly amazing and helped us tremendously. She makes the classes so enjoyable and the material really sinks into your head. This review is for Jim Watson and NYREI. I had taken my real estate classes at NYREI, found that some of my best classes were taken with Jim Watson. I found his classes very easy to learn and made fun with real life situations. I did try to also take as many classes as Mr.Watson had to offer. I now have gone off and taken my school test and also my state test witch I passed both first time out. He made the expereince very enojoyable and fun learing enviornement. Jim taught I believe 8 of my 20 classes I took at NYREI and he was an all around amazing instructor. Really happy I choose this school and cant wait to get started. They give you a list of which instructors are teaching classes so if you have a preference on whose teaching...thats helpful. Ive been to other schools and if your looking for a dynamic and organized school, this really is a good place to be.
I was thrilled with my experience at NYREI. The knowledge that this school teaches is an invaluable experience. I think it should be a mandatory experience for everyone over the age of 18. I learned so much about EVERYTHING. The professors are all people in the field and have lots of different experiences to share with you. Jim Watson, Jordan Cooper and Michael Most are some of my personal favorites. They are all willing to spend time with you and answer any questions you may have. Jim is especially accessible! Not only does he answer my 1,000’s of questions, but you can tell he is there because he cares.
I had a great experience at NYREI. I started out with no experience, just an interest in real estate and decided to go for it. I chose NYREI through a recommendation of a friend and their wide online presence. Im glad I did. I learned so much during the courses and extra seminars/webinars they offer. The instructors give you real world tips and advice to make real estate a career and not just a job. Their career advisor, Michael Englander, was also very efficient and effective! I have been taking classes here for the past few weeks and i just finished my course. The process could not have been any easier or convenient. I finished the course in the 3 weeks and i passed my exam the 1st time. I highly recommend NYREI to anyone who is looking to get their Real Estate License.

What can I say about NYREI.... simply WONDERFUL!!!!. They offer classroom and online courses, however I STRONGLY advise taking all of your courses in the classroom for a myriad of reasons, which Ill get to later.There are also a number of campuses to choose from Manhattan, Queens, Long Island, and Westchester.You can purchase all of the courses you need for your license as a package deal for a discount ( from $395-$540.) which I also STRONGLY recommend!There are career counselors available to speak with on campus who are very knowledgeable and friendly. They offer morning, evening, and weekend classes, all of which I have attended for assorted courses. BY FAR, the best time campus to sign up for is in Long Island.The reason I advise taking on-campus classes are as follows:1) The instructors are very knowledgeable and all of the ones Ive had are currently working in the industry as brokers, experienced agents, etc and in addition to teaching the coursework offer EXTREMELY valuable advice based on their personal experiences.That being said, youre going to get the most out of your time and money attending campus classes because you get a lot of exposure to the industry AND get a head start on finding a company that you can work for.As far as Saturday classes are concerned, I would have to say that the instructors make if fun and time seems to fly by...The class atmosphere is very relaxed, much like a regular college class. Coffee was usually provided daily by the school and students are permitted to bring food and drinks into the classroom.Ive yet to have any complaint about any of my instructor Bill ( Who litterally wrote the Book). He is a great teacher on their subjects and have been able to thoroughly explain any questions asked of him.Like I said earlier,all of the teachers are extremely experienced and most have literally been in real estate for decades. The things Ive learned from the instructors here I consider to be invaluable and something I definitely would NOT have gotten had I taken the courses online.Another nice thing about New York Real Estate Institute is that the price of the textbook additional $40. For those with an urge to get ahead, you can pick up your book from campus as soon as your class is paid for. This is something I did for all of my classes and having read the course information ahead of time was a tremendous help.Basically -- IF YOU READ THE THROUGH AND STUDY THE TEXTBOOK, YOU WILL ACE THE EXAM. The textbook is sectioned off well and are easy to read and understand. Absorb as much as the class information is possible, because even after you pass the class youll still need to retain the information for your State exam!In summary, NYREI is a fantastic place for real estate education and you definitely get a lot of educational bang for your buck!
Two years later and I am a well seasoned veteran real estate salesperson, thanks to having passed my license exam from my education here. That said, the facility is one level up from the DMV and it would not be hard to fix the issues they have. Areas I recommend they focus on are, the washrooms, cleaning the whiteboards and the demeanor of the office staff. Short of those few suggestions for improvement you will walk out of here fully educated having met NY States requirements.
I loved the flexibility NYREI allows students to have with taking the scheduled sessions. The instructor I found most beneficial was Mr. Jim Watson. He was able to make the material interesting by bringing in wonderful real world examples to the classroom. He also made sure the class overall, ran smoothly.
If you want to become a Real Estate salesperson NYREI is the place to go. The teachers led by Jim Watson and Kristen Bacorn are all outstanding being both informative and entertaining. Mixing real life experience with book knowledge the teachers keep the lessons interesting while making sure the necessary information is taught to the students.Highly recommended.
A total scam. I was lied to from the very beginning. I am a single parent and I spoke to multiple people before paying the maximum amount for schooling through them.It was very convenient and easy to get ahold of someone before I paid. After they had my money I could not for the life of me get anyone to respond. They gave me a day and time to go all the way to NYC from buffalo to pick up my text books. And NOBODY was there.And I wasn’t the only one this happened to that day because another girl showed up and left a note on the door explaining my same situation.I have sent a dozen emails and made equal amount of phone calls to no avail.Please don’t waste your time or money on this place.
What a great experience to have Jim Watson for a tutoring session for both the School and State exams. i felt somewhat knowledgeable of the subject matter for the exams, however, after the sessions i felt 100% confident in my ability to pass, AND I DID! very grateful to Jim for essentially being able to help me enter the field which i plan to succeed in. Taking this class online was really good, you are able to understand and re-read material. I begin by taking it in class but due to unforeseen circumstance I was unable to finish. The ability to due it anytime you felt like 24/7 is a plus.
NYREI delivered what they promised. The staff was very nice and helpful. The teachers focused on the important things to help me pass the school and state test.There would be presentations from different RE companies everyday in between classes that helped me to get an overview of the multiple firms working in that field.Even after finshing the 75 class, Mike Englander from NYREI has been always there to give me advice and support. Over all I am very happy with my decision to choose NYREI and can recommend it to everyone who wants to get into real estate.
My experience has been amazing, I feel like I am learning so much. Dont get me wrong, the school provides you with so much information that I do feel overwhelmed at times but I am also very comfortable with know that I have teachers who have no problem helping through anything I dont understand. NYREI is the GOLD Standard of Real Estate schools. All of the teachers are Licensed real estate salespeople or brokers. All have many years of experience. The classes are convenient and offered at different locations. They made taking the exam easy and simple. I was able to pass the first time.With out question its the go to for real estate schools.
HORRIBLE! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I want to sign up for classes to get my real estate license but cant get on the phone with someone to save my life. You would think that now with COVID they would be trying to make as many sales and helping as many customers as possible, but NOPE. If they are this negligent then what type of service will I receive as an actual student? I dont want to spend hundreds of dollars only to be left in the dark and feeling like Ive been cheated.

Everything went well until COVID hit. I completed the online course with ease back in February, havent been able to go into the school to take the proctored exam due to COVID and now that they are open again I havent heard anything from them in about a month since I last emailed them to try to get the exam done online or in person. This is really delaying the process to continue moving forward with Real Estate.
NYREI came highly recommended, I know several people who had very positive experiences here. Personally, I opted to take my class online and find the modules easy to navigate through.NYREI also has a recruiter reach out to you after you sign up to learn about your goals in real estate and help find placements for you.

I have just finished my studies at the New York Real Estate Institute. And, Ive just passed both my school and NY State exams.I had a great experience the the NYREI, and had the privilege to study with a great group of people.Kristen Bacorn, Steve Goldberg, Nancy Mosca, Donald Lincoln, Erik Alberti, Steve Landfield, Grace Chan and Jordan Cooper were all wonderful instructors.Kristen Bacorn in particular, was absolutely terrific. Kristen knows the real estate world backwards and forwards, and explains extremely complicated information in a simple, direct, humorous and very stylish way. In addition to Kristens regular classes, I attended her group tutoring sessions specially geared towards the school and NY State exams. Well worth every minute.I have always had a hard time with academics, and I do not test well. However, Kristens knowledge, dedication and support made the entire experience far less difficult than I ever imaged it would be.The bottom line is...I never would have passed the exams without Kristen Bacorn. Took their R.E. Salesperson course in 2009, and passed with their review class the R.E. state exam.In 2016 i decided to reactivate my license so i went to the school and purchased he latest edition of the Cram book. I self-studied it (without retaking any of their classes), then took the test and passed it. I look forward to taking their continuing education courses (remember, All licensees must complete 22.5 hours of approved continuing education credit, including at least three hours of approved fair housing and/or antidiscrimination training, within their license period.)

So, if a very interested customer (see review and response I pasted below) tries to reach your company FIVE times, but gets zero response from your sales team, your response is to completely ignore them, not address their concerns, but instead act like a braggart..... SAD.... I take the classes online everything was good until their proctorfree cannot recognize my face, its been 6 months since i pass the state exam i canot take the a school exam, i tried them all trying go get help it doesnt seems like it is going anywhere. Jim Watson focuses his efforts on preparing all of his students for a career in real estate. He addressed the specifics of issues that occur in real estate by allowing an open forum for learning. His methods in teaching how to compute cap rates I still use today with many of my investor clients.

Jims Review Class for the NY State Exam is the best prep anyone can take before the test. This is a MUST TAKE class and do so right before you take the State Exam. He has most of the information that is on the test and in the two hour class he explains everything so that the information sinks in. Just one example: He told the story of how he is a very good maker of flashings and how he was called in at the last minute to help make some flashings with a friend. In the story he explains how he likes to do manual work every once in a while and how he grew up in the business so he knows how to bend metal. In any case, this personal story made it easy for me to remember the difference between flashings and sheathing. Thanks Jim! Jill
Taking classes at NYREI pays off...LITERALLY!Case in point:I took instructor Jim Watsons adamant advice and requested copies of my amortization schedules for rental property I own. I compared the amortization schedule to my form 1098 mortgage interest statement which shows actual interest paid. I noticed that I actually paid $600 more in interest last year than what was listed on the amortization schedule. So, I called the bank to inquire.Net Net - the bank said they made an error. To correct it, they applied a $600 credit to my principal. This is a huge benefit to have the principal lowered even a little. Furthermore, the $600 interest deduction was probably worth about $200 to me in real dollars. But the $600 being applied to the principal on my loan is worth a solid $600 to me. Hey so I think Ill frame this amortization schedule going forward...LOL!I looking forward to continued learning at NYREI!!! Its amazing to get first hand knowledge from experts who have so much to share!

I just call on Jan 31 at 11:21am, press 3 to find out some info, but the guy sound like just get up or something...not really excite to tell me more info except I heard he said $618. Is there anyone in your office tell me your RE course I was excited and see review is good, but after this call, I doubt very much your school match the review rating.

STEVE Goldberg is by FARRRRRRRR the WORRRSST teacher. He instantly puts you to sleep and if you are not sitting in the first row of the class, you will not hear a word he says, which is extremely frustrating!! KRISTEN explains everything loudly and in great detail resulting in the students actually LEARNINGGG. If this school continue to give her weeks off, their test passing rate will deteriorate tremendously!!!!
Kristen doesnt teach. She gives lessons on what questions she has been told are on the test and skips over the actual literature. I learned nothing from this school and bombed on thier test. When i reached out for extra help. They tried to charge me all over again for the classes. Absulote joke and a waste of my hard earned money. Now i have to find another school and pay more money
Took classes at the Brooklyn location, took thorough notes, studied every day, passed all the practice tests, passed the school exam, went to take the state exam which was 90% material the teachers in Brooklyn did NOT teach or even talk about because its not on the exam.
Good luck getting someone on the phone here I went through the course and can not get the certificate. Tech support sends to customer support where no one answers either the phone OR email. Everyone is working under COVID conditions. No reason not to help out.
Make sure you keep track when your online classes expire. Or you have to pay $150 to renew. Thats a 90% markup from what NYREI gets charged from the third party company they deal with (Hondoros Learning).

I had a life change that made me go past the time I had to do the online course. I tried repeatedly to contact the person who could extend the time for me. I left several voicemails. I was never able to get any help. I am out $99.00 at a time when I really need it. I am very disappointed.

Currently looking into real-estate schools and as Im reading these reviews and cant help but to notice the all the responses by the owner are a bit defensive.

TEachers are hit or miss, but you are ready to pass the exam at the end.

2022-01-20Great school to learn all your Real Estate needs. I took the courses for the real estate salesperson license and they provide both in person and zoom class which gave me options. Their price is fair and you get a lot for what you pay for. They provide you with all the learning materials that you need to pass the School and State exam. The instructors articulate their lessons very well and provide you with lots of material and information to make you become successful. The staff is very friendly especially Edreanna, she’s super helpful and resourceful. I totally recommend NYREI for all your Real Estate needs.

2022-02-20I am writing this review as I prepare for to take my NY State Real Estate Exam this coming Friday. I plan to take the NYREI school exam probably sometime next week. I completed my 75 hours of schooling on zoom & finished in a little less than 3 weeks. I was very eager to get started with everything and learn it all as soon as I could so I rushed my process, but you have up to 4 months to finish your 75 hours of classes. I paid about $400-$500 for the basic package & then an extra $75 for the tutoring course for the NY State Real Estate Exam.Overall, I had a great experience being taught by the different professors at NYREI and I feel more than ready for the NY State Real Estate Exam that I plan to take this Friday.Although the cost was high, I know that in the end it will all be worth it.UPDATE: I passed my exam :D

2022-04-29The teachers are very kind, and very capable to educate the students.Some of them are truly outstanding. This school does the job of teaching as long as you pay attention, but still much to learn afterwards in the field.And the market changes constantly in NYC.

2022-03-11I have been to a lot of RE schools but sometimes you come across something a little different. It just happens I was researching schools and decided on the NY re institute for they had the best curriculum the process was quick and easy with there paypal option. I hadnt gotten any information about starting so I decided to call the office to see what was going on. Normally you might expect a bit of a run around but that wasnt the case here theres a special person that works the phones Miss Edreana Hampton I have been in customer service a long time and how Miss Hampton provides customer is a rarity she was polite knowledgeable and very helpful though out the entire process if you have any issues rest assure they will be resolved a great! experience over all I would highly recommend this school to anyone

I can take them at any time and I learn so much everyday. The staff has been beyond remarkable. 2019-08-05If you want to pass the State and School exam you should attend Kristen Barcorn classes. Not only is she an expert in Real Estate, but she also helps you to understand Real Estate. The best teacher in the whole school. Her classes are very knowledgeable. Many thanks to Kristen!!

2022-01-05Ive been taking the online salesperson license and its been great!Really thorough lessons, complete with links, summary guides, quick checks, and quizzes. They also provide all the possible forms and resources you might need, and explain those too. Theres lot of old video content which could be updated but overall its great. Support is also easy to get a hold of, Edreana helped me out with an extension and was very quick and courteous !
