Mr. Cook did a great job helping to do job research, although front deak receptionist was more into rushing clients elsewhere yesterday to continue on his personal phone call not a good place or time to handle personal calls unless its a family emergency
Called 4 times on 4 different bussiness days and left a message each time, trying to get them to call me back. Its been 13 days and havent heard of them yet.
I just called the number an I have to literally hear the Spanish version of the voicemail. ugghhh
You’re wasting your time applying for unemployment because they don’t answer the phone
If you get there on time ( appointment) you will be serviced adequately for the reason you are there.
Still closed I don’t know why they still Open Hours
They dont help you at all, they give u attitude and they dont want to answer your questions.

It is a relaxation one lasts the whole day calling and when they finally pick it up the phone they tell you that they cannot attend you. THEN SO THEY ARE OPEN. And if you are self employed or call. its a joke
I have called several times and they do not answer. They just dont seem to answer calls or messages.
Its good is the state department that gives the unemployed the best benefits

2022-07-15These peoples solution to everything is to hang up on the person in need. Even when information that is mine is entered incorrectly they choose not to believe me even though I know what all the other pieces of info are. There is no bigger waste of space or life than the NY DOL

2022-03-01I’ve been calling for the past couple months and just keep getting hung up on. I applied for unemployment back in September already got the monetary benefit determination letter at the end of that month. I’ve been claiming for 8 weeks and haven’t received a single check. I was told multiple times I was going to hear back but I haven’t. What kind of service is this, no help at all. What’s the point of the unemployment insurance if they aren’t going to go through with it. It have you waiting for MONTHS!!UPDATE:Due to an error on the DOL website, I haven’t received any of my UI for a month now. I’ve been sending emails, which of course I haven’t received any replies too and I know they seen them. I’ve made over 2 dozen calls, every time I enter the info requested the automated voice message says they’re too busy too answer. Even though I call around opening hours.

2021-09-01I went there and these offices are closed! Doors shut, Japanese vibes sign on the door talking about phone numbers to call. Luckily I was able to update my my.ny.gov login information to be able to sign in because I totally forgot my password to login (and other stuff). The best way to work with the Department of Labor is through digital and telecommunication channels. Call them, though they have TONS of phone numbers that redirect you across the board which is annoying. Use the Secure Messaging Center with subject prompts and message boxes to write your concerns. They are terrible at replying, however its the most convenient way to begin interactions while they observe Pandemic and related guideline mandates by heads of state.

2020-04-09I think department of labor website is really outdated. Even though I can message them, I cant attached my files. Im at lose here. Because ph call services is in high demand. I thought I can send them my files through online.

2019-07-02Elizabeth Medina at workforce 1 was very nice and professional with handling all my information and paper work, she made me feel comfrontable and made me feel that she was really here to help me find opportunities, if anyone is looking for work I would 1000 times refer this bronx workforce 1 location and person to you.

2020-07-08I’ve applied and filed since the beginning of April and I still haven’t seen any payments and I’m behind on a lot of bills and payments this is just ridiculous at this point !

2019-04-30Appointment or no appointment same result .....Worst complete worst ...never pick up when calling never return a call after leaving message after messages ...unreachable!!! Doubt anybody even work there ..this is unacceptable!!!! Just the worst !!!
