The Frontier manager at this location lacks ability to communicate in a professional manner along with separate feelings from task. Providing answers in line with the company’s written policy was not within her skill set or value structure. When I followed up with Frontier on the phone I was given a very different perspective of client service and resolution vs in person lack of accountability and holding back documentation of process at the counter. If one star service is what you’re looking for ……..look no further.
Stewart Intl. Airport is the closest local airport when driving from Dutchess, Ulster and Orange Counties. In comparison, driving to J.F.K. Airport is much further away. Consequentually, it will use up more gas which is especially exorbitant these days. You also need to set aside more precious time to arrive there on time.J.F.K. is always overcrowded with travelers and a big hassle to get through security. Parking is also a nightmare. Therefore whenever possible I book flights going from Stewart Intl Airport to my chosen destination. Its a small airport which means that you wont have to walk a long distance to navigate where you need to be in order to board the plane. Another positive is that there isnt big crowds of people there. What a relief to actually have some personal space instead of feeling like people are in your way. This airport is kept clean and the employees are friendly and courteous.Theres so many more benefits to Stewart Airport but those are just a few. For these and other reasons, I recommend it.
The staff here is amazing and so helpful, TSA is so quick and there is no sweat to get through. Most other airlines rush and treat you as another ticket. Stewarts sees you as a person and makes the experience a wonderful one! From the ticket counter to the airline its 100% my go to airport!
One of the easiest International-Travel airports i have been to, and just for regular flights aswell. (while there was international flights). Quick security, extremely convenient parking made the experience better. Flew the SWF-BFS flight on Norwegian before they shut it down. Food is good too. The only problem would be US Clearance, a bit of a struggle but its better than JFK. I would consider coming back if the right airline & route flew.
The worst organized TSA setup I have ever encountered. Lines move very slow while they stand and watch not even checking if the right people are in the Pre Check line. They need someone to get there and straighten them out they are unconcerned about the confusion and disorganization that is happening there.
This airport is not good. They canceled my flight 4 hours befor the plain was to take off and then when we went to give then our lugeges they said the flight was canceld and they said that they emaild everyone 2 hours ago. My dad quiqly whent on his phone and cheked every email he did not get one. And then when we were exiting the bilding we ran into a bunch of other people who did not get an email as well. It was very diciponting because we had to drive for a rely long time in a taxe befor we got there,so when we whent into the airport the taxe left and we had to call an uber that made us wahit 20 minits befor we were able to go home.
I took a Norwegian airlines flight from here and it was fine. Bare bones service but then again the parking and access to terminal are so much easier than the bigger airports. The downside is that after security all you have is Euro café for food 20 minute line to buy water and a small kiosk that serves as a bar.Not even a water vending machine. On arrival staff were very friendly in dispatching people to the correct immigration lines.
Good experience on a layover to Philadelphia. Obviously the airport doesnt cater to large amounts of travellers so there is not much in the way of food/drink options available. But, security was friendly and there were ample seats and charging stations (USB compatible) around the various gates.
Its so sad that Stewart no longer offers the direct flights to Europe. Hopefully they will recover after Covid.Edit: Im so glad Stewart has reopened and is now offering more flights! It is a wonderful thing to have a small, close, easy airport which can fly to so many places!
So I usually travel out of Westchester or Newark but decided to try Stewart. It hasnt really changed since the last time I fly out about 15 years ago. Still small and I love it. Cozy and convenient, the staff is exceptionally nice. You cant beat the Frontier prices of the flights or parking.
Everything is just so slow here—check in, security screening—even ordering a sandwich at Quizno’s took 20 minutes. On top of that, I had to open my sandwich in front of the screener. Very strange and a first time for me. The people working here are friendly for an airport but on top of being so far from NYC, it takes eons to get to your gate.Shockingly, considering it’s 2018 in the US, my flight left on time-ish.
Allegiant air provides the worst customer service Ive ever seen from an airline.. the luxury of flying from Stewart airport is being a small airport and avoiding all the hassle of getting to your flight 2 hrs early to wait.. Allegiant air advertises getting to gate 60 min before flight... Perfectly reasonable except when we arrived 75-85 min before fight to check our bag, no one was there to check it at the front desk. We waited while AA employees who were friendly enough to call and try to assist finding staff.. TSA was also trying to help.. after leaving my husband with the bag finally and going through TSA to the gate, I greeted Roe (the least friendly flight staff Ive ever encountered) and explained that we have a bag that needs to be checked downstairs... At this point it was 45 min exactly until take off.. she repeated that they close the counter 45 min beforehand.. I explained that we have been waiting for the last 25 min for service downstairs and without even looking at me she said well Ive only been here 5 min. You have to bring it through TSA and Ill have to put it on the bottom of the plane. I lost several bottles of liquids/ cosmetics etc bc I had to bring through TSA now and when we finally got back upstairs and boarded the plane we were treated like we completely inconvenienced them. I want to add that we also werent the last to board and then had to wait 25 min after all boarding for take off anyway. What could have been an easy thing for staff to fix turned into a terribly unpleasant experience.
Norwegian Air commenced flying transatlantic flights on June 16th this year into Stewart Intl Airport. I drove there from NYC to collect friends and carry them onward to Maryland. Flight was delayed by 1 hour plus leaving Dublin but when it finally boarded passengers were assured that there would only be a slight delay in the landing time. I arrived at 17:50 and they were already on the ground... super😊NOT😢It then took over an hour for the bags to reach the terminal, a distance of 100 metres or so. It turns out that one of the baggage handlers had an accident and an ambulance had to be called to take him to hospital. I hope hes doing good👍Also a K9, accompanied by police officer, sniffed something illicit in the bags and a thorough check ensued. Both understandable reasons for the delay.Good luck Norwegian we all need a low cost transatlantic carrier😊
I cursed myself for not checking more thoroughly where my flight was departing from when booking, seeing I would have to take a 90 minute bus ride there from Manhattan. But what you lose on the bus ride you win on the airport, which is small, calm and has fast lanes. Youre at the gate in 15 minutes. The bus ride through NJ is actually quite pleasant. Overall probably the most stress-free experience I had flying out from NYC.
Fantastic airport - quick, hassle free. Its so easy to drive to. Once there, simply park, walk a few minutes and then youre at the airport. Its not a big airport, but thats why its just so much easier coming here. The service is friendly and normally as fast as can be expected. Security is normally pretty fast, although not always.
Staff helpful, even the TSA were friendly!Incoming you collect baggage before immigration. Very cramped, but its a small airport. Quickly out without any problems.Outgoing was a bit different. Yes, friendly Norwegian check-in. Fairly quick through security, no great hassle. But I wanted to get something to eat before flying. That is what lets down Stewart.Only one burger restaurant, Euro Cafe, that simply cant cook nor cope with hundreds of passengers. Fries done in ovens rather than fried; they dont have the right equipment! Therefore, queues were long, service slow. There was food presented for a customer sitting on the counter with nobody coming to collect and Id bet they had to leave for a flight! Yes, its that slow. After waiting ten minutes I bought the second last sandwich from the adjacent Hudson News instead of waiting any longer. Went past over half an hour later and the same people were still waiting at Euro Cafe.So my low rating is because there simply isnt anywhere to eat post-security.
Check in and security were extremely fast. The airport is small and really easy to navigate. Only $20 to/from NYC on the bus which is timed to go with each Norwegian Air flight. Definitely flying into here the next time Im going to NYC, its a lot less crowded and stressful than JFK!
For business travel it worth the few extra dollars for plane tickets and you avoid dealing with metropolitan airports, which are always a hassle. Stewart is fairly small. This makes it very easy to get in and out very quick. Average time from the door to the gate waiting area is 15 minutes. Youre not getting that in Newark or NYC. Security is very fast and professional. There is a strong NY State Police presence adding to the feeling of security and safety. Flight times are limited depending on where you are going so you cant get too picky about when you leave and if you are going to non-direct locations your going to need a connecting flight. Again for personal travel this might be a hassle, but since most if not all my travel is business I dont find this too bad. There is no free WiFi and thats a bit frustrating. Flights usually are on time and baggage pickup is very easy. Food options are limited so eat ahead of the time. Parking is ample and reasonably priced. For business travel I recommend SWF. Less hassle. Closer to the Upper Hudson Valley. And fairly good flight options.
Review of Stewart International Airport, Newburgh, N.Y..7 gates and is very easy to get in and out of. My last arrival from Europe, wheels down to unlocking my car door....10 minutes! Norwegian has daily budget flights to Edinburgh, Dublin, and Bergen. My round trip ticket to Dublin was $350. Parking is $10 a day and is a short walk from the only terminal. I would recommend eating at one of the many chain restaurants a few miles from the airport. Food selection post security is very poor and low quality. Food lines can be long and slow. There is a bar as well with reasonable prices. They run shuttle buses from Manhattan, I dont know the fare but its probably reasonable.
Stewart International Airport is a great airport. Although its smaller than the other airport the level of service is brilliant. The staff there are quick and efficient. When checking in and out of the airport it took no more than 5 minutes to do so (I had carry on bags only). I was very impressed.
Upon returning from my trip my car, which was parked in Long Term Parking, would not start! Stephanie was working in the ticket booth and was so kind and friendly! She immediately contacted Victor, the Terminal Supervisor and invited me to wait in a warm place since temps were below freezing. Victor arrived within minutes and quickly jump started my car and got me on my way! Everyone was fast, efficient and most important they were so nice that it made what could have been a nightmare very pleasant for me. Put a smile on my face! Thank you
Tiny airportsome good points - cheaper to fly into/out ofStaff friendly and helpful, shorter lines through security. Not so good - baggage delivery super slow , bus into nyc is very dated and expect 2 hours after landing will arrive midtown, long lines for bar/ shop at airport .Overall I would pay the extra 50 to 100 $ to fly with a different airline to JFK or Newark in future. Norwegian airlines ok but if you go basic package don’t expect much
While the Airport itself is easy and quick to get thought, the bus ride to NYC was a nightmare. We landed at 5 pm bus finally left for the City at 6.17, we got to Port Authority at 8 .50pm. The driver drove too slow and didnt seem to be very experienced. This didnt go down well after a 7 hour flight.
A nice little airport but the security side of things needs to work on engaging with the public as they enter - most of us are tourists bringing money to your economy and are not criminals! Small man syndrome seems to be the norm with security check-in employees. Just go with the flow and ride out the ignorant treatment - there is a lot to enjoy in the USA. Returning to the UK we were treated as expected.
Offers absolutely no real service anywhere! This review begins with Piedmont Airlines (carrier for American Eagle). Their antiquated system goes down and flights to my connecting city are cancelled after 5 hours sitting in a terminal. Where the airport review comes in is that they have little to no carriers flying out of there so you have no options if something goes wrong. In my opinion this is a complete waste of taxpayer dollars and should be closed!
I love Stewart - Ive been using it on and off for 20yrs and it gets better constantly...There are only 8 gates, and a handful of flights in and out - so sometimes it can be a bit empty, but otherwise it is really easy to get in and out of here.Rental cars on onsite, and there a few places to grab a sandwich (a few being 2).Much better than the big airports -
Have been to many airports, and have seen some things. This airport is as clean as I am used to at Schiphol Airport (Amsterdam - The Netherlands). Staff is friendly, and correct. There is enough choice in rentals: Budget, Avis, Enterprise, Hertz. Good connection by road to the 84.
The airport is fine dont get me wrong, but its sooooooo far! Its not at all convenient and the bus waits forever before it takes off, Ive been sitting for over 40 minutes waiting for other passengers! What a miserable way to come home; oh, and Norwegian airline is not that much better, no T.V or Foods and drinks offered!
Don’t bother, if your looking for a cheap trip to NYC don’t forget factor in your two hour coach trip each way and your time. Latest coach to leave NYC is 4pm flight is 8:45pm to EDI. 40$ return each. A taxi is around 200$ each way, a young girl ran for coach, they let her on, it was 4:01pm!Staff at security rude, check in weighed my hand luggage and charged me 30$ for being of by 2 kilos... however the Latin ladies with loads of hand luggage, chatting in Spanish where not weighed. Nothing at the airport, very dated and smelly toilets!(Norwegian airlines)
My flight was delayed 2 hours. I wanted to buy something to eat, I ordered pizza for 10$ but nobody told me, the pizza is of the size of a donut. Then I wanted to buy some snacks, but there are no prices, so I couldnt. I tried to ask somebody for help, I am losing my connection because of the delay, but nobody wanted to help me. I am very unhappy with the workers here. By the way it so small, I cant do anything during I wait for my delayed flight. I even cant go to smoke. I definitely dont recommend to come here.
Hands DOWNOne of the best airport AROUNDGreat securityGreat staffZero tolerance on those who have disaplinanary issues. Dont fly here if your a trouble maker or uncontrollable kids. You know who you are. You wont get far on the plane.Unlike the zoo at Kennedy airport or Newark or LaGuardia airport.Other then that, love this airport.
This is a cute, little airport - as long as you dont plan on flying out of here.I recently needed a rental car for a long-distance drive and used Avis, located inside the terminal. I used the airport long-term parking to leave my personal vehicle while I used the rental car. I was able to park close to Avis and walk there. It was especially convenient because the long-term parking lot was nearly empty since Stewart doesnt do much business because of the insanely high prices and chasing away all of the major airline carriers.I give it 3 stars because the place is very clean. Ive picked up people from the airport in the past and every time, the floors, seating areas, etc. are all immaculate. Although, when you have no customers, its probably much easier to keep it clean.Ive shopped for flights out of Stewart Airport and the prices are insanely high (usually double the prices elsewhere). They advertise round-trip flights to Florida for $99. However, I shopped online (several months in advance) for 2 round-trip tickets to FLL for early March, and it was $1200. We ended up driving down to LGA to fly to Florida. This was not the first instance. The last 3x I flew to Florida over a several year period, I drove to NYC, despite living just 10 minutes away from Stewart. Each time, it saved me well over $600 by taking the drive to NYC.Another problem with flying to Florida out of SWF are they have very few flights coming in and out. If you are coming back from a cruise or checking out of a hotel at a certain time, you could end up sitting around all day waiting for the only flight coming to SWF.In some rare cases, SWF might have the correct flight and maybe a random reasonable price for people. But for most people, this is not the case -- which is why the airport is a ghost town.
Once just a air force base for c5s, now is orange countys airport. Small but efficient and very convenient for those traveling to or from orange county. Historic note: this airport was a designated alternative landing site for the space shuttle as it has a longer than usual runway.
Goodness gracious, if you have an early morning flight, dont expect to get to your hate within a timely manner. Security check point was supposed to be up and running at 0400. They didnt open till half after. They arent friendly, whatsoever. It was unfortunate that I had to fly into and out of Stewart.
Cant really handle international travel needs, long queues on all services to the point you run risk of missing flights. Take food with you as the cafe/ eateries are the worst organised and run I have ever encountered. Love flying Norwegian, but out of Stewart is just pure incompetence.
Unless they turn around business operations real fast - looks like Allegiant Air is headed for the fall, Last 2 flights either cancelled or delayed.I fly a lot. Bad recent press. Ive been happy with their service for years, but not this year. Difficult to keep optimistic. Stewart airport is fine.
Other reviewers complaints about excess security isnt the SWF airport. Thats the federal government, TSA.Food is the vendor corps, not SWF airport. Its a nice enough airport but I think big mistake moving the car rental lot an eighth of a mile down the street. It isnt THAT far to walk, for a healthy near-age-60. But with LUGGAGE and in the RAIN, in the DARK, that was an idiotic change (made 2 months ago). That seems uncaring of passengers who need rental cars. No sidewalk canopy. No short hop shuttle. My clothes were merely damp not soaked.
Wow. Everyone was so worried about us flying out of this airport since it was so “far away,” but getting here was really no big deal. We took the Hudson line and then a Lyft from Beacon. So easy. No hassle. Getting through security was a breeze. Definitely would recommend.
Flying from Stewart Airport is a delight! Staff are always pleasant and accommodating. Unloading or loading travelers is a breeze, along with convenient parking next to terminal. Very limited eateries within the airport, however there are assorted eateries within a 3 mile radius of airport. Taxis are available but forewarning to call their office for fare pricing or be exploited. Best of all Uber now serving airport and that can be arranged before flying. A 5 mile runway!Air tubulance has been the only drawback and can be bit of a bump or two.Preserve the historic name of Stewart International Airport out of respect for many generations of ancestors were attached to the 105 Squadron of the Air National Guard in Newburgh. Yes, “The Town of Newburgh.” It’s one thing to change land boundaries to change address to New Windsor, NY, but let’s have some integrity and keep the name.
Just went in to return a vehicle at stewart airport there was man standing outside with an attitude stating we could not park there which we were not parking there we were returning keys to car rental. Then he waived me out the door as if I was a pet. Very rude individual and when I asked his name he refused to give it to me and stated he was terminal supervisor. I would never refer any one to this airport due to his ignorance. And this is why due to individuals like him people dont stay local for airports. I will contact the bbb and as well corporate regarding his attitude. Please all that consider dont travel through this place unless you like to ve disrespected.
I use this airport to... Well, fly to places. And from where I live, Ive got Dutchess County Airport as my closest one. But Im a man who likes to drive, go see things, so I go to this airport.Very nice little airport. Youve got your diners, gift shops, terminals, everything youd expect at an airport.
My family lives between Albany and stewart airport. I love going in to stewart more. all the staff is very well trained and very helpful. I am disabled, the staff is wonderful to give me extra help. I live in California and travel about every two years to see my family since 1978. but unfortunately sometimes I fly into Albany because it cost less at certain times of the year. I am headed that way in June 2016. because of the short runway. when the plan lands it has to stop a little quicker. and being bumpy, you get that at every airport. just think as a ride in a old school bus ride on a back road. besides only small planes are able to land there. with a small plane you feel every bump. I fly often, STEWART is at the top of my list! THIS IS A 5 STAR SMALL AIRPORT
Parked practically at the gate, the only line is for food if youre buying it, theyll catch up. Clean, pleasant, crazy convenient. Norwegian prices made my irish vacation so affordable. Would definitely recommend for those who hate the traffic and nightmare of long island.
Its convenient airport due to proximity. The ticket prices to fly in and out of this airport are usually more than what it will cost to fly from HPN or JFK. The worse part of this airport is no WiFi. I have been to Vanuatu. Sure its a island country in the Pacific. Sure its road system is almost non existent but you know what their airport has? Free WiFi. Absolutely ridiculous that this airport doesnt have free WiFi.
Great airport the only issue is that the shuttle leading to NYC is circulating only in the evening and if you decide to stay in a hotel for the night because of a late flight and want to go to the big Apple the day after as we did it means that you might have to wait for hours until the next bus to NYC. If that happens to you I highly recommend to take the bus to Beacon and then the train to GCT which is an amazing ride along the Hudson Valley.
The good news: despite its driving distance, Stewart is by far the most convenient, cheapest, quickest and best place to fly in and out of NYC of all four major airports. The bad news: there are few flights that go where you want to go and they usually cost more. Whenever possible we book out of Stewart (which unfortunately isnt often) or its little brother Westchester airport. Even if I lived in NYC, I would rather drive an hour to Stewart than go to Newark, La Guardia or Kennedy. Stewart has plenty of cheap parking, is easy to get in and out of with no traffic and has a quick and uncrowded TSA line. It just doesnt have flights to where we want to go. Let your NY legislators -and The Donald know that you you want to relieve congestion at the other airports and add more routes to Steward.
We travel a fair amount. While other reviewers pint to the cleanliness I can say that it is clean. However, that doesnt overcome the rude, unresponsive staff and ridiculous lines due to understaffing at shops and airline kiosks. The lines are not short. The wrap on until passengers are left with nowhere to wrap around to. Stick to the devil you know rather than the devil you dont (i.e. LGA, JFK or Newark)
First experience of Stewart was excellent coming in from Edinburgh! Baggage was delivered promptly and passport control staff pleasant. Sure you have to wait in the bus while everyone is cleared, but we landed at 7.30pm and I was in my apartment in Manhattan by 10pm with a cab from Port Authority. Practically the same as from JFK or EWR without the endless treck to baggage claim and crowds at immigration and lines for cabs or even waiting for a car. It was barely 100 yards from carousel to bus!I fly out again at the end of the month. Hope the reverse trip is as good. And Norwegian is a 5 STAR airline!!Having done JFK, CDG, and LGW on their Dreamliners that is an experience way ahead of any other airline at present. And the price is one helluva bonus!!
TSA is the worst they ripped through a $4000 jacket ripped the lining open search the inside it smashed up an iPad put a sticker on it that they search the bag and there’s absolutely nothing you can do about it. If you want the items in your suitcase destroyed fly through Stewart airport.
Only place to eat downstairs is Quiznos, six electric ourlets in the whole first floor so good luck trying to charge your phone, not even close to enough chairs to sit in while waiting for the ticket counters to open. Like flying Norwegian but this airport is not at all acceptable.
I, personally, prefer Stewart. Any time I have flown out of there, the prices have been reasonable if not cheaper than going to the city, Albany or NJ. Even if Stewart is $100.00 more a ticket, it makes no sense to drive anywhere else. Its 15 min from my house, it will take more than $100.00 back and forth to the city 4 times. Never crowded.
This is the airport (SWF) to use when traveling to or from the Hudson Valley region of New York State, primarily because it lacks the congestion experienced at Newark (EWR) and especially LaGuardia (LGA). Long runways, similar to Bangor, ME, due to military requirements for which it was originally designed. Beacon is the nearest Metro-North rail station. Use Poughkeepsie for Amtrak services. Both Beacon and Poughkeepsie are on the other (or eastern) side of the Hudson River.
The airport isnt to bad but it is pretty busy, considering how small it is. I live about 30 minutes away from here so it is convenient. The place itself is small though. It mostly doubles as an Air Force base with C5s, C17s, and C130s. It also has a spot for private jets such as Cessna CJ2s and stuff. It is conveniently placed it the center of Newburgh and the best part is Orange County Choppers (OCC) is right next to the airport. OCC is the show that was once on the Discovery channel. Its not a bad airport.
The completely absurd and redundant check in procedure for international flights aside, my main complaint is in regards to the incredibly rude security guard who I had the pleasure of working with. I think she was trying to help me to begin with, but she didn’t make anything clear and, after 10+ hours of traveling (and hours before packing) and spending 45 minutes trying to secure my luggage and wait in line for the asinine self check in system, I needed more to work with than “I’m helping you, ma’am.” I’d like to point out that, at no point was I rude or spoke up to this woman; I probably looked like I was ready to scream, but I never said anything. This woman then proceeded to repeatedly tell me that “patience is a virtue” and “everybody else waited” and that I needed to be more patient. Then, when I finally made it away from this troll, she started immediately speaking in rapid Spanish to the men I’d just walked past. I don’t speak Spanish, and could definitely have been just so upset I’m projecting, but I can’t imagine how that wasn’t about me. I was so angry that I wanted to march right back in and demand her name. My entire experience at Stewart was stressful, and this woman made it so much worse. I do not recommend.
Within 2 minutes of opening they had already pulled three bags to rummage through. Laptop bag was pulled and only searched my computer... WHICH WASNT EVEN IN THAT BAG. No one explained what was going on either. I dont know what kind of game theyre playing but never have I experienced such absurd workers.

2022-04-12Great little airport.Super clean, staff amazingly jovial and helpful, going through security was a breeze.Just 1 terminal with the 6 gates one next to each other so super easy to find yours.Comfortable seats in the waiting area and plugs that actually work!It seems the only place where you can get a coffee opens around 9am

2022-01-17Love flying out of Stewart airport because it’s always empty! There is never a line at security and the parking is small and quick and easy! The cafeteria is small but they do offer burgers and fries and a nice variety of cafe drinks. They also have pre-made sandwiches and yogurts and parfaits to go.. lots of magazines and books and travel stuff! Highly recommend SWF

2021-07-20Love this airport. Security and getting to your gate is quick since it’s a small airport. Flies to many southern locations like South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. Look forward to seeing this airport grow after the pandemic cancelled basically all of its routes except for Allegiant. The planes landing there always fly over my house especially the cargo Boeing 747. Sometimes I like to go airplane spotting here. Just a tip, in the future you guys should add a designated airplane spotting location.

2022-03-04Pretty empty and clean. TSA procedures were easy. Frontier baggage and check in staff could use some customer service training though. They are as hospitable as folks that work in Jamaican restaurants. If you know… you’ll know.

2022-06-12Airport is nice. Parking is easy. Security abysmal. I’m not sure if this is where they train new TSA agents or where they send the old ones. Every bag gets flagged and security backs up. Do not buy any toiletries to take with you they will all be tossed. Your toothpaste will be weighed. Your bag will be ransacked trying to find anything that looks “suspicious”. If this helps you feel safer about flying then maybe it’s a plus for you?

2022-04-23Literally serves two flights and can’t get the bags off in a timely manner. The terminal has nothing. Low cost and high parking fees. Never will I fly from here again and don’t get me started on Frontier. Yikes

2022-03-22Really nice, relaxed airport. The TSA employees are very friendly and easy going. The same cant be said of Frontier Airline ticket agents. Not pleasant at all. But this is about Stewart... Immaculate bathroom, nice place to buy food/drink/magazines, etc... Nothing much else here just clean and comfortable gates.

2022-06-24We flew out of Stewart on the new Play airlines on the morning of June 10th. It was an all around good experience. The airport was easy to locate, road signs were easy to follow to ample long term parking. We were greeted on entering and all our questions were answered. The TSA agents were professional and pleasant. Everything went very smoothly and on time coming and going. Highly recommend this nice little airport.

2022-03-18Love this airport, used to live in Newburgh now in Tampa. We would have to fly from Clearwater and face the potential risks of Allegiant cancellations but Frontier started service here. Awesome crew, clean airport and very quick and easy to get through. So glad they are resuming flights to Europe and rebuilding!

2022-04-20So much more pleasant then any other local airport. I will only use this airport from here on out. Super clean. Everyone who works there is a pleasure to deal with. Never a line. Well oiled machine. Top notch.
