Newbrook Gardens is a little hidden gem. It is a quiet co-op complex tucked away just south of the Southern State Parkway on the eastern edge of Bay Shore. The staff are nice, helpful, and responsive and the community is very friendly. The grounds are well cared for too.

Looks like a very nice place to live. The maintenance is very good. As I was at a open house I noticed the carpet was totally new, the entire co-op was repainted, and overall the place was nice, seemed cozy. My only gripe is the shared laundry. Covid-19 makes shared laundry machines a suspect situation. Quiet place also. People appreciate quietness once youre home.

Friends live here, nice place seems like there are alot of families. Never saw or heard of any major altercations at this place, the only thing is most of the units are outdated as they are privately owned. Has a security detail all night to keep people from lingering around causing trouble and one side of the parking lot closes, preventing anyone from escaping after foul play. Havent really experienced anything out of the ordinary here just a regular apartment complex.

The landscape is well kept, with that being said this is not a kid friendly complex. If you have children your better off moving into an apartment complex that offers amenities for the children as this complex is not kid friendly. If your children are outside playing most likely you are going to get many complaints. The complex is geared towards an older population. I think the apartment complex should be for 55 and older. It’s a lot of mole in the apartment and it’s always a maintenance corncern which is fixed at the convience of the staff. The security on site is a joke. The cost of the apartments is pricey for no reason. managements main corncern is their landscape appearance as they want to present as nice luxury apartments but not at all. They should just accept government programs for what they have to offer their tenants. They pretend as they care about your well being and after a couple months they treat you like one of their kids. Don’t waste your time I’m so glad I moved out of this place.

This apt very humide.a lot of mold very green when you move out the dont give you back security.no good very humide make your kids sick.people need a lot sunshine
