Highly recommend this dealership! Bought from them in 2017 have had nothing but great customer service both in sales and service. This weekend bought our second vehicle from Dan and could not have been a better deal. No pushy sales, not lies or deceit. Dan was up front, honest and backed his words with actions. Could not be more pleased with the purchase or the service.
I’ve bought cars from Jeep, Audi and many other dealerships across LI and this was the first enjoyable and respectful experience at a dealership. Paul S was super friendly, upfront and helped me every step of the way. I was in Florida when my father noticed the car I ended up buying. Matt worked with me and held the car till I was back in NY and from there Paul, Joe and Xavier made the sale seamless. Took my old trade and got me in a new truck in less than a week. Thanks guys, great experience!!
I recently had to turn in my 2019 Ford Escape and leased a 2022 model. The associate who helped me is Dan Salvatore. From day one Dan was very courteous and helpful. He made the process easy and stress free. Also, Dan helped me get discounts and made the process so smooth.thank you Dan!!👍🙏
From start to finish this dealership was great! Had to preorder a truck in August and finally received yesterday. The salesman Kyle was friendly and efficient. He was very helpful, patient and able to answer any questions I had while waiting for the truck. Kyle was very upfront with pricing and not pushy at all! The finance team was also great. The woman answering the phones is also very helpful! I highly recommend buying your next Ford from this dealership!
In the fall of ‘21 I pre-ordered an F150 King Ranch through Dan Salvatore at Newins. Dan asked great questions to understand my needs which lead me to choose the KR. Going into the pre-order process I knew the lead times would be long and throughout the wait Dan was prompt and honest with his updates. On delivery day Dan couldn’t have been better. His knowledge of the vehicle features was superb and he was thorough with every step of the process. Thank you to Dan and the Newins team for an exceptional buying experience. I’m looking forward to enjoying my ‘22 King Ranch for years to come.
My husband and I are extremely impressed and happy with our overall experience at Newins Bay Shore Ford. We dealt with Paul Su, and he was great with communication and follow-up. Paul answered every question we had, and if we left a voicemail message for him, he always called back promptly. If youre looking to buy a Ford vehicle, I highly recommend you see Paul at Newins.
Never going back and would never recommend them to anyone. Brought my truck there for battery going dead and was told a lite was drawing power when truck was off. Charged 350 bucks. Shortly after same issue with truck. Brought it back and was told another short has risen. Truck has been there a total of 4 times for this issue and has taken up to 3 weeks each time. Ken the service manager refuses to stand behind his work and will not even look at it until I agree to authorize 10 hours of labor. That’s another 1,500 plus dollars. I am furious about this and how they just don’t care. Looks like I’m going to small claims court
My experience with Dan at Newins Ford was excellent. Throughout the process Dan was professional and offered me multiple options to get the best deal with my 2021 Ford Ranger. He provided a comfortable, relaxed environment when discussing options for the truck. Dan continued to keep in touch with me about updates on the truck as I waited for it to arrive to the lot. Thank you Dan, and Newins Ford!
The best car-buying experience Ive had! Kyle made it easy, pleasant, and affordable. I bought a used Fusion hybrid which is the nicest car Ive ever owned; the price was a bit under KBB value to begin with, and the dealership gave me a $300 discount on top of it. The price was real - no added fees. Kyle of course paired up my phone, explained all the bells & whistles, and made the buying process easy, but he also did much more - the next week when it wouldnt start after having been jumped on 2 different days, he made an appointment for me at the service department and came to my house on his day off to jump it so I could take it in and get the 12V battery replaced free of charge! Now it did take 2-1/2 hours to replace a battery, so I dont know that Id use the service dept again, but otherwise, fantastic experience. Many thanks to Kyle and to everyone at Newins!!
Buying a vehicle with Kyle was great! He was so nice and understanding of my hectic work schedule. He was able to find me the exact vehicle I was looking for and is a great communicator. It was a fantastic buying experience and I highly recommend Kyle and Newins Bay Shore Ford. The pricing is extremely straightforward and everything is explained. Kyle has the patience of a Saint to explain all the new technology in the vehicle and how it works. 5 stars!
We had an amazing experience at Newins Ford…. Joe was amazing, kept us informed, went above and beyond!!! We had a transmission problem and the mechanic was amazing, fixing the car in a day! Thank you Newins Ford, the mechanic and thank you JOE!!! Sorry we did not get the mechanics name.
Ive been a customer of Newins Service for about 7 years now, through about 3 new vehicles. Ive ONLY had Newins service my Ford trucks and Ive never had issues until the last year or so. Ive probably spent $35,000 on service (no thats not a mistake, they did a complete engine replacement + oil pump years ago on a customized truck I owned) without ever questioning their prices/repairs.Went in sometime in the summer last year to have something taken care of under warranty on my Raptor. I was told not a problem theyd order the parts needed. I checked in every few months to see if the parts arrived (figured supply chain issues) and was always told nothing was there for me. Finally earlier this year I asked them to look into the delays. I was told the ticket (RO i think they call it) was closed out. Odd. I was told it was being ordered. Turns out they never ordered any part and closed the ticket. I then had the service manager, Ken, look at my issue so we could get the part ordered. This was around March or so of 2022. He took some photos and was going to take care of it for me. Fast forward to today. I had an appointment for my Bronco now (I take multiple trucks to them). Dropped the truck off at 9am for a simple oil change and a few TSBs. I called them at 4pm to check on the status and was told the truck hasnt even been looked at yet. So I just went down there and decided to just pick it up/deal with it another day. While I was there I asked to see Ken, because once again they could not find any open service ticket on my Raptor. Ken remembered me and when I asked about the photos he acknowledged he did take them but he never sent them to Ford. Not sure why, but he just didnt get around to it.Not very professional if you ask me. Ill be taking my business elsewhere. Its just amazing that after being such a loyal customer and ONLY using them for service, I get the run around on multiple issues. This isnt the first time my truck was never looked at when I had a service appointment, but with todays issue with the Bronco never getting looked at AND the Raptors now SECOND issue being essentially ignored, Ill have to go elsewhere. The service advisors ARE terrific people. Joe, Nelson and the other guys are nice people to work with. The service manager though seems to think otherwise of their customers. I had gotten into an argument about warranty issues last year with the Raptor. I was told I should have followed up sooner about a part that never got ordered. Whats the excuse this time? Was I supposed to remind him to submit the photos to Ford for this warranty claim, again? He did ask me if I had purchased my vehicles there, as if that should make a difference (and I did try but they never had inventory on the trucks I wanted).Really sad to have to find a new service center, but I dont appreciate the run arounds and not having my truck serviced when I had an appointment. Not after all the money Ive spent here. Ive been very loyal and cant believe how I was overlooked on not one, not two, but three issues within the last few months now.
Just received my new 2021 2 dr Bronco from this dealer.Due to covid and other unexpected delays I waited over a year for my Bronco. My salesmaen Victor along with Matt and Xavier kept me informed through out the whole process and worked contunually to make this delivery happen.Newins Ford is a professional and well oiled machine. This is my 3rd vehicle from them and have received outstanding service with every vehicle.Victor thank you for coming in on your day off so I could get my Bronco. You guys are the best and appreciate all you did for me.The Bronco turned our better than I could have expected and love the vehicle
Went in for a price with the pandemic didn’t expect much but to my surprise paul Su gave us a great deal and delivered car today as promised he was the best salesman iv dealt with and I leased over 10 cars in the past 10 years for me and my family don’t waist time going anywhere else
On Sept I6, 2021 I took my 2012 Ford Fusion to your service dept. and Michael Giris your Service Associate handled my repair. Mike was very knowledgeable about my needs and took care of them. The repair was completed expidiously. I must say that my experience with your company has always been completely satisfactory. Your sales and service people are exceptional. Thank you all.
I had searched a Ford Fusion Energy in some dealers. I ended up going to Newins Bay Shore Ford. I went there because I see in internet that they have no fees at all, ( TRUE TRUE) you pay the price that you see in internet plus taxes. Others dealers wanted to charge the price that they have posted plus “dealer fees”, + etc,. Ending Paying thousands more. My sales man Dan Salvatore was outstanding, and the best of all no pressure in anyway like other dealers. Dan made the process really smooth. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to buy new or preowned cars going to Newins Bay Shore Ford and ask for Dan. I am really happy with the experience that I had there THANK YOU DAN S.
One year later, same poor service. Had a 9:30 appointment for an oil change & state inspection. Arrived 9:20 and was told it would be at least a two hour wait because 5 technicians called in sick. Same thing happened a year ago - they said three techs called in sick and I waited about two hours for the inspection & oil change. Bought my vehicle here but not coming back for service or the next new purchase. I know due to covid help wanted signs are up everywhere but here, same old, same old.....
From beginning to end my experience at Newins was a breath of fresh air after many sour experiences at dealerships on Long Island. From their transparent pricing and honest sales approach, to their consideration of their customers time, I am very happy that I gave them my business. Rodney was the nicest car salesman I have met during my very long search for a car this summer. He was very patient and knowledgeable in answering all of my questions and concerns. Some positive highlights that stood out to me in contrast to other dealerships:1. Their advertised prices are REAL. There is no fine print about a down payment or dealer fees. The price you see is the actual price.2. They try to do as much as they can remotely and only ask you to come in when most of the paperwork is finished and ready to sign.3. They do not push you to buy extra accessories/plans. They offer them, explain them and give you full control to say yes or no.4. They do not force you to finance through them. Using your own financing is fine.5. There is a family oriented atmosphere that is absolutely refreshing.
It is the worst experience of my life, I took my truck to repair, a factory call, they gave me my car and now they are charging me 2,000.00 and if I do not pay them, they will send me to collection, they did not bother to call ford factory to pay them, if not they threatened me, and I had to call the ford company to pay them, its a big disappointment I dont recommend this dealer to anyone they dont do their job, its easier for them to threaten the clients.
This dealership is honestly the only one that has ever presented me with a legitimate offer straight off the bat. Unlike every other one Ive been to, Newins Bay Shore Ford didnt try and rip me off or jack up the price. My salesman, Kyle, was polite, courteous, and very knowledgeable. What he didnt know, he got answers for swiftly.10/10 I would absolutely recommend doing business with this dealership, and look forward to doing business with them again.
Ordered my Maverick online June 16th and had it sent to Newins Ford in Bayshore. Tom Siraco called almost immediately after I placed my online order and had me come down and sign some papers. Quick and simple. Truck arrives at Newins on November 8th. Salesman Tom calls me to come down and settle up. I told him I dont like waiting around and I would be by in an hour. Before I left my house My insurance company and the credit company called me for some info. I spent probably a total of 45 minutes at the dealership and was on my way home. It couldnt be simpler! I am very happy with my choice of dealerships.
Great experience at Newins Ford !My salesman Dan Salvatore was a pleasure to deal with. Very patient & knowledgeable. Provided excellent customer service - highly recommend. Also, would like to mention Sales Manger Matthew Stickney. Makes sure customers are satisfied from start to finish. Thanks again !
Read before you go there. My Ford car has been there for other a month what can i say? I had my car tow there beginning of May. I go there every week to see the process of my car and i still see my car park at the same spot. I go there in person and called them every week to ask them when they would start with my car and they only promise me lies that they would see my car soon and i still dont know how long it would be there or without knowing what is wrong with my car. They are not professional at all, they take too long, nobody calls you, you have to be calling them for updates. It is going to be more than a month now and i am already very dissatisfied with this place and everyone there. I should it took it somewhere else. Hopefully i dont have to write another review next month which that would make it two months being there. Not even the Manager KEN or front desk seem to know what they are doing. I think there are better places dont waste your time. Is another month 3 months my car is there waiting to be fix and is going to be 4 months in August. if someone can tell me another ford dealer ?? who really can fix my car please let me know as i cant be waiting to next year so they can look at my car. This place is unreliable dont take your car there if you need other than your oil change
We recently bought a Ford Explorer with the help of Dan, who was an excellent salesman. He was courteous and professional. We werent jerked around with the price or pressured into buying anything. Overall, it was a smooth transaction and we are happy with the car. It is our third car from this dealership.
The level of incompetence of the service manager Ken and the mechanics that work for him is absolutely mind boggling. I sincerely hope Ford Motor Company reads these reviews and revokes there dealership. I am very lucky that my husband found the damage that the mechanic had done to the cars engine before We loaded our family up for our summer vacation. We could have been killed all because the mechanic had no clue what he was doing. Shame on the people who own this dealership. Go anywhere else to have your vehicle serviced.
Stole my custom license plate cover to replace it with a Newins Bayshore Ford one.Service advisor was nice. Had issues getting them to understand the amount of work that was already done on the vehicle. Quoted me almost 1K to replace spark plugs. Had to take it back to the other Ford who did the work in the first place, who replaced the plugs for free. After finally getting back the truck, I noticed the swap and advised them about the issue. They have chosen not to respond and since I have to hear your ad on the radio all the time. You can have this review.Dont take things off of peoples cars. Yes Id rather be driving a Titleist over a Ford any day of the week.
I just want to say there are very few things I truly hate. Newins Ford is one of these things. The service department is the worst for customer service. The sales team at Newins is great but I wouldn’t recommend buying from Newins because of their service department. No loaners, no drop off service and they tell you want to want to hear. Not the truth!
Leased an F150 and had a great experience with Matt. This week I went back to rent a car for my daughters wedding. Matt went above and beyond dealing with the aftermath of the tropical storm and still got us a car despite no power at the dealership. When we picked up the car the trunk was full of white balloons. What a great touch!!! The bride and groom were thrilled.
The worst Service Dept I have ever dealt with. One star is too many. They had my van for 2 months to replace a BCM. Called and left over a dozen voicemails I received 2 return calls to tell me it still needs a BCM. While there they were supposed to also perform a Safety Recall, well that didnt happen either. $2,100 later for a $500.00 part. Avoid this place like the plague....
I Dont work at this dealership nor am I related to anyone there.... The salesman who help my wife and myself was Carmine. We were looking for a used f150. He addressed all our needs and Matt took care of finance. While it took a bit longer than anticipated, were glad they took care of some items on the truck before we took ownership. Wed recommend this dealership.
So this place is one of a kind, my spouse and I were first time buys, I have never been to a dealership before, when I ask for a bilingual person I received an American instead, now when everything was going well and my spouse told the man he was a permanent resident he said that they could no longer sell him a car, terrible service, now my spouse went to another dealer and mind you it was a lie that only U.S. citizens are allowed to get cars now my spouse is happy to get his car at another dealer with someone sweet and very professional.
Service advisor never called me. When I dropped it off I was told Probably later today. At 4 pm I had to call them. Have to keep it overnight. Next day at 3 pm once again I had to call them and I got Had to take your car out to do an oil change on another car, have to keep it another night. Third Day Collin finally called me to say its ready. Turned out they had the part in stock the entire time. When I picked up my car Heres your keys, warranty covered it, have a good day and walked away into a back room. My car was fixed, cost me nothing but 3 days without a car but the way I was dealt with by the Service Dept was appalling.
Transmission issue on my leased car. After bringing into the service center we were told that it needed to be replaced. I was dissatisfied that the loners that Newins offers are not comparable to what I lease; no options that seats 6. The staff at the service center was calm, cool, and collected. They were professional, efficient, and respectful.Nelson went above and beyond. He had great communication with my husband throughout the duration of the repair. A true class act.Unfortunately my previous review left the sales staff member, Matt, with a vengeance. He interjected in the smooth process and tried to refuse service and a loner car. Very unprofessional. My recommendation to Newins: I understand you are a family business. Keep Matt in the back somewhere. Keep more guys like Nelson to deal with customers.Service department 10/10.
Had an appointment 9am on Tuesday for simple fix and 3pm Wednesday truck wasnt even started. Service representative never contacted me once, and when I contacted them they continued to make excuses. Then after picking truck up received a call that it would be done by 1pm Thursday. They didnt even kbow the truck was gone. NEVER USE YGIS DEALER
This place is amazing. I have rented a few cars from here over the last few months. Charlie that runs this department is wonderful. The customer service is unbelievable .He makes sure that you are satisfied with your rental. I would recommend this place to everyone. You need a rental Charlie is the man to talk to
I don’t have enough amazing things to say about our experience with Newins. Matt Brooks was our salesman and he went above and beyond every step of the way. This was our second time leasing a car through him and again, it was flawless from start to finish. We have three small children, and we didn’t even have to step foot in the dealership. Everything was done through phone and texts, including him hand delivering our vehicle to our house and picking up our vehicle. WOW!! He brought all the paperwork along with him and we signed it all in the comfort of our home. This is a top notch service which has made this process so easy for us and we are so thankful and grateful. We HIGHLY recommend you contact Matt! He gave us an amazing deal and we couldn’t be happier!
My parents recently visited from out of town and had their steering column go out while they were here. Newins had the column replaced days before we expected it to be done, and at a price cheaper than we were quoted. The service staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and I would recommend them to anyone! They also offered a veterans discount, which is always a nice touch.
I have been taking my 2013 Ford Explorer to NEWINS Bay Shore located 219 W. Main St. Bay Shore NY 11706 for repairs. Over the years, every time my car is required to stay at the service Center, it’s such an inconvenience since NEWINS never provides with a courtesy vehicle.Over the past few months I experienced the worst customer service since the service department is not able to fix my car. I took my car for service february 2021 because there was a leak from the sunroof. My car was literally raining on the inside and was promised the repair will take a few weeks. I spent over 3 grand to cover the repairs, even though I was not provided a courtesy vehicle I was confident Newins was going to repair my car. The problem persisted, the car continued to leak and had to take the car back to be repaired again. It turned out that the problem was miss-diagnosed, Newins Service center failed to flush sunroof lines in the car and up until today my car continues to leak through sunroof every time it rains. My car smells like humidity which is affecting my health, I’m afraid this will become a mold problem in my car.I had to take my car again on 4/9/21 it was shutting off, I even had to tow my car because of this. The service center diagnosed it and I was advised the “turbo” wasn’t working. Parts needed to be order but they were out of stock. For the first time in years of going to newins Bay shore, I was granted a courtesy vehicle since they had no ETA on part needed. After spending $2000 for repairs, I Picked up the car yesterday 5/6/21 (almost a month later) at 1pm and at 9:45pm the car was jumping and shutting off again. We took the car back to NEWINS, the service center called this morning and stated that they don’t know what the problem is and will need to reevaluate. Even though this was an inconvenience, Newins refused to provide a courtesy vehicle and no ETA was given for repair. I’m a working full time employee who needs a car to commute from my home to my job and also need my vehicle to take my children to school. I cannot believe this company will not acknowledge their mistake and at least provide me with a courtesy vehicle for this inconvenience. I should be entitled for compensation due to the unprofessional work performed by NEWINS BAYSHORE SERVICE CENTER and inconvenience for my time since I had to re arrange my work schedule because of their poor service. I have tried to reach out to the Service center to speak to a manager but no response from NEWINS. For this reason, I am writing a review since I don’t think I should be penalized for this. NEWINS miss-diagnosed the problem twice.Thank you for taking the time to review my complaint and hope to hear from a representative soon.
Walked into the dealership on the market for a Shelby GT350. They happened to had a 2020 White one sitting on the show room. As I was inquiring about this vehicle with the salesman. The owner of the dealership started being arrogant and disrespectful. I’m not sure if you thought I was wasting your time about this vehicle, meanwhile I was on the market for one 100%. Perhaps you shouldn’t judge people based on age and such. Yes I’m only 21 years old but that’s why I took my business elsewhere and bought a 2019 Velocity Blue Gt350r. Maybe you should treat every customer as a potential buyer regardless of age. Highly recommend you take your business elsewhere. If I could rate this dealership at zero stars I would.
I bought my truck here and I’ve been taking it in for service since it’s close by. I have to say, the service department is not good at all. I took my truck in for a wheel bearing noise. They told me they had to hold my truck for 2 days since the part had to be ordered. I ended up being without my truck for 4 days. They didn’t even call me to let me know it was going to take longer. I had to call them and ask about my truck. Finally, my truck was repaired. I’m driving home and I find the noise is better but not repaired. I pulled in to a shopping center to inspect the repair just to realize my front bumper had been hit. I called them back to let them know I was going back to the service center. Once there, they inspected my truck and informed me that they would review the cameras. It’s been two weeks and I have not heard from any of them. At this point I don’t expect to hear from them either. What bugs me the most is that not one person apologized to me or was empathetic. Additionally, the lack of professionalism. If I could I would give this service department a zero. It’s just bad business.
Every time when I go to service they find something different then I ask for all the time they couldn’t find the original problem they keep charging you at least 400 every time you walk there. They told me to diagnose and they will let me know if I need it or not should I need to fix it or not no one called me what they fixed it and they keep charging your worst customer service I’ve ever seen any dealership.
I was very happy to do business with Newins Bay Shore Ford. The two sales men who worked with me were very, very professional. Kyle was very patient and helpful in finding the right car that works with my budget. Xavier worked with me to complete my paper work. Although there was a problem with plates transfer, he was patient, courteous and he took the extra mile to help me understand the car. I feel complete and taken care of. Great job!!!
BEWARE !! I brought my car in to fix an airbag recall and they blew out something in my electrical system. My car has been there four times and each time I get a different excuse as to what the problem can be. It is literally been months and every time they order a different part it takes a month to receive. Today, The advisor Collin, actually hinted to me that they are now trying to say that the problem wasnt caused by fixing the recall. Meanwhile the problem didnt exist until I brought it there the first time. I will now initiate contact with corporate headquarters. The shop doesnt even deserve one star.
From the second we walked into the showroom, we felt very comfortable. We were looking for an F150 Limited (only dealership in Suffolk that had more than 1 in stock). We settled on one of the trucks in stock and we’re looking forward to picking up the truck in a few days. The next day, we decided to change from the black one to the silver one that was also in stock, which wasn’t a problem. I returned at the end of the week w/ my trade in and was amazed that I was out of the dealership within an hour; they would have spent as much time going over the new features of the truck (I was upgrading from an F150 Platinum).Chris Belesi (Sales Manager) and his team did a great job from beginning to end! I strongly recommend Newins Ford of Bay Shore!!
THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! MOM AND POP SHOP THOUGHT IT WAS QUAINT ...NO ITS A CLOWN SHOW. I havent bought a car from them in a few years, but when I did it was a good experience.I still go there to get my car serviced. You make an appointment with them and they take your car right on time none of that waiting in line for service. Also they do a very good job on servicing your car Ive never had to take it back.keep in mind they are a little expensive, but you get what you pay for.
My experience with Newins Bay Shore Ford has been nothing short of exceptional. I leased my first brand new 2016 fusion with Greg Bailey in October 2016 and I knew from the beginning that I was in good hands. Three years later, I am now ready to renew another lease. My fiance and I moved to Manhattan two years ago and when we knew our lease was coming to an end, we decided to continue to come to Long Island to renew another lease with Greg. We truly feel like we are being treated fairly and dont ever feel like we are being taken advantage of. He really tries to work with you to get the best deal possible. Everyone in this dealership is friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend coming here if you are interested in Ford (best cars ever!) and definitely ask to speak with Greg. You will not be disappointed.
Just bought our first Ford explorer from here and the staff was great and Matt was amazing. Gave us everything we could ask for and more. If your in the market for a Ford this is the place to go. Quick and easy. Best experience buying a car. Way to go guys good luck on another 80 years in service. Thank you
Originally I wasnt pleased with my experience however based on the level off energy and enthusiasm Matthew the Sales Manager went through to make things right I have too go ahead and award Newins 5 stars. Nothing in this world is perfect but with enough effort it can be close so I applaud Newins for going the extra mile too ensure customer satisfaction. All too often disgruntled consumers go by the wayside, I am happy to say that Newins did not make that mistake so for that alone I highly recommend them.
I used to deal with Huntington for my service needs, but since I moved to the South Shore, and since Atlantic took over, I decided to go to Newins. Im really happy with that decision, as the general pricing is better, and the quality of service is what I was used to. The staff made a really good first impression, and the customer waiting area was clean and comfortable. With that being said, I look forward to Newins taking care of my Truck from now on.
I brought my vehicle here for repair of recall .. they ask me to sign document that my car was fix. Which I did. when to my car was reading documents carefully , realize that I was told to bring my car back because they did fix my gas tank because it was full.. .. Documents that I received estate that air bags and gas tank were replace. ask to speak to a manager. Sorry to say, my experience is quite negative. He when inside of the office and destroy document I show him. They never remove my gas tank because it was full. In the meantime he ask me to bring back my car so it could get replace. He apologized. Not been friend and rude. A week later brought my car to have the gas tank replace. Week later my car had the gas tank light on. When back to them and told them they were the only one that work in my car with the gas tank ask them please fix the car. They said it didn’t have to do the recall gas tank been replace. I had Hard time with them .At the end they finally fix it but never will bring my car back to them.
Excellent service. Bonnie, Louisa, and Billy always get the job done for me. From scheduling the appointment, assisting with the vehicle service, and the service that Billy preforms. They are all good to me and always looking out for my best interest . They are the best Bonnie Louisa and Billy. Thanks again guys a job well done
Counter reps were great - accommodated me a day early. Originally told it would take a few hours to diagnose - techs had it done in half the time. Saved me from a second trip. New battery was installed under warranty and done right the first time. Issues are resolved - could not have worked out better. Thank you Ken and crew!
I was glad to hear that the tie rods were in bad shape and that a safety issue made it necessary to replace them. The labor time seemed excessive, but I plead ignorance. The only other item is that if only one wheel was removed (per NYS inspection report), how were you able to rotate the tires? None the less, I feel safer driving this vehicle, which I purchased new at Babylon Ford and on which you have done the mileage maintenance checks for over ten years now. i also very much appreciated the ride to and from my residence before and after the work was done. At 83, I can use all the help I can get.
Currently still waiting for an oil change. Made an appointment at 7:45. Was here at 7:42, it is now 9:40 and I am still waiting. 2 hours+ for an oil change??? I cant imagine if I needed anything else done how long that would take. Never coming back here again, save your money and time, go somewhere else.
Matt Stickney at Newins Ford was great! We bought a used 2015 ford explorer. They were able to do everything we ask including dropping the price almost 10% and threw in the running boards, tow hitch and cross bars. It is an older looking place not a swanky dealership but if you want a great car for a great price with no pressure sales and a sure no problem attitude this is where you need to be. Thanks again for a pleasurable experience.
I leased a 2019 Ford Explorer back in April. I had issues with the truck and at first was swearing never to buy a Ford again. After dealing with Matthew Anderson and Katherine Hamel at Ford Motor Company with my claim and then Matthew Stickney and Mathew Brooks at Newins Ford, I could not say enough. Everyone was great, even though I was a bit rough at times. All said and done, I am in a 2020 Ford Explorer and honestly one of the best trucks I’ve ever leased. Ford has done the right thing and I can honestly say I’m a Ford fan. Thank You Ford and Newins for handling the matter in a professional and expeditious manner. If you are in the market for a Ford, go see either Matthew at Newins Ford.
Marty Jacobs called told me my transmission bell housing was replaced and the damage done to my vehicle was fixed at no cost to me. Turns out nothing was fixed. Check these pictures of the starter mounting bolts. Nobody should ever use this dealership. These are current pictures.I will continue to upload them, daily if I have to, so nobody has to suffer from their mechanics damage and their cover up lies.
I’m writing this review on behalf of my bf, who has brought his vehicle to this establishment for service along with misfire which they quote on quote “fixed”. Fast forward 20 days later, check engine light comes on, misfire 1,2,3 again everything same problems as before. He paid $300 first time second time $700. Unbelievable $1,000 wasted ! I wouldn’t recommend this place !
I sat there all day waiting for an emissions test on the vehice I was buying because of a mechanics error which was not fun.... but The salesman I dealt with ( Rico ) was a pleasure to work with and made the whole process easy. Definitely an asset to this dealership and would highly recommend him.
Tom Siraco was very helpful and was able to do exactly what I needed. I told him when we first spoke that I am not looking to negotiate on price, BUT I am extremely busy and need to not waste a ton of time and cant put up with any BS and he delivered. While I did experience a 2 hour wait to pick the car up, I believe a good part of this delay was due to my insurance broker being unable to get the working correct on the insurance cards. Having had absolutely terrible/ borderline criminal experiences with another Ford dealer years ago, I would recommend Tom/ Newins for sure.
I, my husband, and his sister all have vehicles from newins. I put nothing down and was still able to get a reasonable price. Plus they paid off the last couple payments on my previous lease (from a different dealer.) Everyone was friendly and not too pushy. It only took about 4 hours from start to finish, which is about half the time it took at a different dealership in the area for my previous lease. When my husband has had to do oil changes on his escape it didnt take very long, unlike the other dealership I dealt with. We will come back for our future cars.
Our salesman Matt Stickney was open, honest, knowledgeable, and made sure we were kept informed during the entire purchase process. The dealership environment was better than all the others we’ve visited. There wasn’t loud music blaring like a night club. There were no “tough guys” walking around trying to intimidate people into buying cars. Even though we were motivated to buy, there was no pressure from ANYONE to pay for anything we didn’t want or didn’t need.I’ve bought a lot of new cars through the years (most of them Fords), and this was BY FAR the best purchase experience I’ve ever had. My only mistake was not buying them from Newins.Buying a new car should be exciting. It should be fun. You shouldn’t walk away being skeeved out by the experience, as if you just got your pockets picked. There was none of that at Newins. Not only will we be back when the time comes to buy a new Ford, we’re looking forward to buying from Newins.
Nastiest customer service in the service department. Totally incompetent. These comments come from multiple encounters on different dates. Their online service appointments do not work even after getting a confirmation. I finally called to make my appointment. Went to take my car for the appointment, my name was not on their calendar. I also had an intermittent problem with losing power steering while driving. They claimed they couldnt replicate the problem and would do a computer diagnostic. I doubt the diagnostic was ever done and they asked me to drive the car and if the problem occurred bring it in. I couldnt replicate it. Months later the problem happens again so I bring it in, no power steering, and didnt want to turn it off so the problem doesnt replicate. The customer service agent comes out screaming and very rude you cant park your car there. I try explaining that I have no power steering. She says if you drove it here you should be able to back it out and park or they will call a tow truck. Last thing I need in this neighborhood is the cops being called on me, so I finally was able to back it out and park. She comes over takes my information and tells me to turn the car off. I was like the last time you said you couldnt replicate the problem, if I turn it off you may not have the issue again. She claims to have written down what the problem was. So I do not understand why I was asked to replicate the problem the last time if you want me to turn it off now!!!. At this point I hope they can just fix it, but I think I am never going to this dealership again for service much less to purchase a car.
Do not use this dealership. They claim they are different and wholesome however they are nothing of the likes. I bought a van from here a few years ago. Paid thousands over book value for warranties and extras because they claimed not to have any base models. Now I need them to fix a tire I paid to have under warranty on and they gave me the run around. Save yourself the financial set backs and heart ache and go somewhere else.
Visiting Newins Bay Shore Ford is not like visiting a car dealership, it’s like visiting family. The family you wish you had. From the moment we entered to the moment we left after putting down a deposit on a new truck, it was pure comfort and kinship. We’d found the truck we thought we wanted online (we’re Manhattanites) and the first thing the salesperson said was ‘let’s take it for a drive.’ There was never any pressure; certainly no hard close. At some point the sales manager stuck his head in the door – just to say hello and thank us for coming in.In terms of price, we purchased a low-mileage 2018 F-150 for the same price we were offered used 2015-2106 models locally and in NJ. They also gave us an extremely generous amount for our 2006 F-150 trade-in.Theyve really redefined what it means to be a customer-oriented and -friendly dealership.
I just picked up my 2020 F-150 Raptor from Newins Bay Shore Ford! My salesman Tom Siraco was the best salesman that I’ve dealt with in many years! He was always able to answer any and all questions and was always available...he treated me as a friend, not a customer! Customer and friend for life!Tom Catanzano
Great experience shopping for a used car. The repntook me for a test drive, offered to print a copy of the original window sticker as well as all warenty work that had been done. No pressure and a calm atmosphere. Early in my shopping stages but would come back if in I go this direction.
My husband and I recently traded in a Ford Focus for a brand new Escape. The attention to detail and kindness that Eric showed my husband, myself, and our small children was stunning. They helped us out of a very complicated and difficult situation with a loan, and then AFTER we had already signed our paperwork and had the car, called us back in to sign new paperwork because they received another deal that would shave money off of our payment!!!!I will NEVER buy another car from ANY other dealer. Newins Ford is the BEST!!!
Had a great experience with Newins from start to finish. Matthew Stickney was an absolute professional and made our car buying experience smooth and painless throughout the whole process. Highly recommend him and Newins for anyone looking for a new or pre-owner car..
Great place to purchase a auto .. But by all means NEVER NEVER get any service there .. the service area has NEVER been updated since the dealership opened. Im guessing 1970 .. I was on line for 30 minutes. Just to ck my car in for a recall . And still had 4 people in front of me . With only one woman checking cars in . And she had the nerve to start playing with papers when there was a line .. needless to say I walked out !! And wasted 30 minutes of my life .. for service go ANYWHERE ELSE !!!!!
I have purchased two vehicles through Newins Bay Shore Ford, with a sales rep there by the name of Eric Stickney. The guy knows his stuff inside and out. Hes humble, ready to go the extra mile, and always has a pleasant disposition. (And I am not an easy person to get along with when it comes to out the door numbers *grin*). I never felt any overbearing pressure from him to buy, and he was always willing to answer my questions and work to find us the exact vehicle that we wanted, at a very competitive price.
I should have realized this was not going to be a great experience when after being there for a good 15 minutes, I had to go to the desk and see if anyone would be available to assist me at some point. The response made us feel like they were annoyed by us. Then we waited about 30 minutes (which would have been acceptable if they had approached us first). During our negotiations with the salesman, we heard the very rude manager yelling and cursing over a deal that didnt go their way, literally cursing about another customer right there for anyone to hear, so inappropriate. Our salesman seemed pretty uninterested in negotiating, though we did eventually come to an agreement, or at least I thought we did. He went to the (rude) manager and came back and said, sorry, we dont have the car that we were just talking about , the car that we had just negotiated over for the passed 30 minutes... We were pretty dumbfounded. The salesman was unapologetic and seemed to just want us gone. We got up and left I should have know not to go back to this sub par dealership after my last lease, where that salesman didnt offer to pay the last 2 months of my current lease at the time, which is apparently a very common practice, he said I should have made it part of my negotiation, true Im sure, but even this time the salesman said it right away, without my having to ask...Turns out it was a blessing in disguise because we went straight over to Hassett Ford in Wantagh and got a great deal. Better package, even more than I was hoping for, for less money, honestly!! The showroom blows Newins away and the staff is much more pleasant. Seriously, do yourself a favor and DO NOT go to Newins Ford. For what its worth, this is the first review Ive ever written, thats how annoyed (angry) I was!
I tried to bring my 2013 f150 in for warranty work as per my appointment with a loaner car and when I got there, they couldnt find me in the computer and when they finally did find me they had no loaner car for me. Gave me a song and dance about wanting me to leave my truck with me having no ride home or ride to work the next day. The had no problem leaving me stranded even after I was promised a loaner car. Customer service treated me badly at best.
From the moment I walked into Newins Ford, my experience was pleasant. Ive been to car dealerships where the salesman tries to tell me what I want in a car. Mike Vellila asked me what I wanted and showed me all my options without making me feel pressured to make a decision. When he found out I was a retired NYPD, he jumped through hoops to get me any deals that were available and was very respectful. I will be recommending all of my friends to visit Newins Ford in Bay Shore, thanks to Mikes professionalism and respect. Thank you
Just purchased a refrigerated Transit from Tom Siraco at Newins. They could not have made it any easier, Tom even stayed late to accomodate my schedule. I also had the pleasure of meeting Bob the general manager who took the time to check in with to make sure everything was going great. Cant say enough great things about the dealership. Thanks again gentlemen for all of your assistance and help. A+ dealership
My visit was a mixed review. On the plus side (for Newins), the employees I dealt with were all very helpful and courteous. On the negative side (for Ford), the extended service contract was worthless. When I bought the car (at Sayville Ford) the level of available coverage was not fully explained.
Man oh man has ford changed, Never thought I would get this bad service from a ford dealer in my life.. never have i been treated so poorly by a auto center trying to get my car fixed under warranty before. Im not sure if it is this one or all of them. be careful if you choose to use them
I worked with Eric Stickney and at first everything was great. He gave me a test drive of a car similar to what I wanted and showed me what I would pay and what all the fees were. It was clear and simple. I informed him that I will be looking around and speaking with other dealerships to get the best price. All dealerships seem to play a game where if a customer is targeting one certain car (by VIN), they will say they can get it for you. That sounds great till the the one dealership that has it on their lot gets a lot of phone calls about it. They then make it harder for the customer to actually get it.Eric informed me that they would need to make a swap with that dealership to get me the car. The only issue was, he gave up when he knew I was talking to other dealers. He said you chose to go this route with all the other dealers pal, it stirs the pot. That is some customer service!I decided to purchase my car elsewhere after he ignored my email. Newins sales team should already understand that anyone purchasing a car will be asking around. No one should be treated poorly for that.
BUYER BEWARE, these people at Newins Ford will deceive you and are not honorable. I purchased a 2017 Mustang from them with 17k miles on it, and within 6 months the brakes were shot and the rotors corroded. I only put 4000 miles on the car and their implying that my driving caused this. My salesperson, Matthew Stickney, hung up on me while I was speaking with him. This is how they treat their customers. They dont want anything to do with you once the sale is done. Well, Newins Ford you messed with the wrong person. I will be seeing you in court and well let the judge decide whom should be responsible.
I looked at a car that i was interested in buying. The salesman was about to get off work so i told him I will return the following day so that he may recieve his credit for the sale. I returned the next day and sat at his desk with money in hand ready to buy. He wound up telling me the owners son bought the car. The dealership had my number AND email yet they neglected to notify me before i made my return to buy. EXTREMELY UNPROFFESSIONAL. I tried to do the right thing by them and they rewarded me with terrible service. I do not recommend this dealership to anybody.
I went in for my air bag recall and since I was bringing it I needed my drivers side blinkers fixed and 2 other back lights on drivers side, plus oil change. My car needed an inspection. They had my car for 10 days. Did not do inspection, because of the way blinker light was sitting. SMH. I brought my car to another shop for inspection and it past with no problem. I showed the guy my bill and told him the work that was done. He couldnt believe they had the car 10 days and he said they charged you way to much..he could of fixed it a lot cheaper. Plus his oil change is cheaper. So No I wont be going back to Newins of Bayshore for mechanical problems. I learned my lesson.
Got my first new car from them. Getting it I had no problems. And while I have been back there numerous times to get things fixed that have been going wrong even though the car is new. Sometimes feels like I have the 98 corolla still. I have not have any problems when ever I go back and all things always gets fixed.
I dont do this but, the way management in the Service Department treats some of their female employees is appalling and very unprofessional. I was in last week waiting for my car to be finished and the manager Kenneth was yelling at the service advisor Louisa within ear shot of customers. Talking to her like she was a child and not an actual person. Clearly no respect. I went up to her and apologized to her that she was being treated in such a horrible manor. This isnt the first time Ive witnessed her be treated this way. Her coworker Marty, on many occasions, has made derogatory comments to her. Such as, that she must be pregnant because she was feeling nauseous. Or that she needs to get laid since she was having a bad day. She clearly is uncomfortable as well as the other customers waiting. The fact that these comments were made at all to her is clearly sexual harassment. Let alone for customers to hear. Such behavior, in 2019, is completely unacceptable and should be dealt with. I will be contacting the EEOC. Since she clearly is too scared to say anything herself. I am never coming back.
My initial encounter when I got the car left me disappointed. My lease was up; I was quoted one price. Took a month to get the car I wanted and the price increased by $90/Month. Stuck without a car, I took the car and pushed that memory to the back of my head. Now my car is in service for FIVE WEEKS, not including the initial week and a half the first time they had it for the same problem. They do not communicate with you to let you know what is going on and when you confront them on that topic, they lie about leaving messages... yet you never seem to receive ANY.By FAR the absolute WORST Service and customer service experience I have ever received. I cannot wait for my lease to be up. No more Fords for me.
I have nothing but amazing things to say about this dealership. While purchasing my first car I could not be more pleased with the attention to detail I received at Newins Ford. From my first time walking on the lot, I never felt pressured into buying car. I asked a lot of questions and looked at a variety of cars at their dealership. With the help of Erik Stickney and Joe Corcione I was able to get everything I needed answered. I traded in my old Hyundai and now I am driving a lovely 2012 Ford Escape. It was in excellent condition and I am so excited to have my first new car be the Escape I had long been admiring. It was an EXCELLENT car buying experience and I would certainly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a new car!
Purchased a used 2012 Chysler 200 from these people with a ford extended care warranty. First couple of days front end developed a banging noise . Took to my local mechanic who stated it needed axles and strut. Got in contact with General manager Bob Belonzi who instructed us to bring the car in and he would fix it. Now keep in mind we have a $2000 extended warranty. Instead he sent it to some barn yard mechanic to fix. We got the car back 2 weeks later and in a few days we had same issue. Car was brought back again to service at which time Bob instructed us to only bring the car to him. Once again the car was sent to same mechanic because he paid them to fix it was the explanation. Car came back and same issue again. Car was brought back for a third time and more work was done now was almost everything in the front end and never the axles which our mechanic recommended back when we first purchased it. Late june same issue again and once again our mechanic said it the axles. This time we brought to service at which time bob yelled at me and told me not to bring the car to service only to him. It took the dealer until mid October to get us a loaner and look at this junk they sold us. Bob called said car was ready a few days later and it was a loose nut and washer on the strut. In 26 years of buying and building cars and numerous conversation s with mechanics no one has ever heard of a nut and washer coming loose on a strut. Including the dealership service manager Ken who then put us in contact with the owner son Matt Stickney who claimed he was the new sales manager and would due what he had to do to make us happy. ( I have the texts to prove that). At this point he offered to buy back the car repair the car or replace the car. We chose to replace and do a collateral swap so we didnt have to refinance. ( I got the text to prove that to). Matt offered us a couple of vehicles and we made our choice and he told us 1000% done deal. Until he found out that the bank would not give him our warranty refund. At this time he wanted to charge us $1400 additional to complete the deal. I told him that was not an option and the reason for that was because he wanted to use our vehicle as a trade and give us less then what we purchased the car for to hide the fact this is a lemon. A few day later he couldnt even call me like a man and tell me he texted some s bs about he needed $1400 to complete the deal or go file for lemon law suit he didnt care or have the car fixed at my mechanic. He failed to mention that he contacted ford 2 weeks prior and cancelled my warranty fraudulently without mynknowledge or permission. And yes Matt I have the texts about your 100% guarantee to replace the car and the emails from ford when you and your dealership canceled my warranty without my permission. And the best part is when I was on the phone with ford customer care and Lym called you to find out why you canceled my warranty you stated I was going to cancel and changed my mind. Not a good idea Matt those calls are recorded and you will be investigated by ford for lying and fraud. Have a nice day this is one customer you will not screw.
Dont purchase a vehicle here unless youre willing to take it to a different service center for repairs. The folks at Newins Fords service department are unscrupulous.Heres a few examples:They told us that we needed an alignment even though we recently got one elsewhere. We foolishly believed them, and ultimately Newins unnecessary alignment wasnt done properly. Things got so bad as a result that we actually lost control of our steering wheel at one point. Thats in addition to a severe pull to the left that wasnt there before Newins alignment. When we asked the service rep, Bonni, why we needed the alignment despite recently having it done, she backtracked with the bewildering explanation that it was only a suggestion that they make to everyone to get an annual alignment. To add insult to injury, when the mechanics went back into the car to fix the faulty alignment, they suddenly noticed that a new steering rack is needed. Really?!? You mean, you didnt notice that during the initial bogus alignment? Cmon, thats auto mechanic basics 101. I guess I should have peeled off that Take advantage of me, Im stupid sticker from my forehead.Steer clear of Newins. Dont buy a car here and certainly dont bring it in for repairs. Theres other Ford dealerships on the Island who dont go out of their way to cheat the customer.
Terrible experience, they had a vehicle for sale online which I made an offer in which they declined , so I then excepted to pay the full purchase advertised price with immediate same day wire. The new car manager said that, Bob the used car manager didnt want to sell the car at this moment. The new car manager was very rude and didnt feel the need to explain why they have a car for sale and wouldnt sell it. The one thing he did say is they were getting a lot of calls on it. My guess is they are wanting more money then the advertised price. Shady business

2022-06-06I had a great experience doing business with Newins Ford. Bryan, Matt, Xavier and Victor were helpful and on point during the whole process. Newins was one of the few dealerships in the area that immediately agreed to sell at MSRP and honored their commitment without hesitation. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the Long Island area looking for a hassle free purchase.

2022-04-27I recently got a Ford Bronco 2022. I went through a lot with the online process, and my Bronco even got changed from a 2021 to a 2022. It was a long wait and it was very stressful with the online experience. Rodney was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. He was very understanding, knowledgeable and kind, which is hard to find at most dealerships, especially when it is your first time purchasing and or leasing a brand new vehicle. I also worked with Dan Salvatore and Matthew, two other people who helped out tremendously with the process. I appreciate every single person who helped me out, but I could have not done this without Rodneys help. I appreciate you all more than I can say. Thank you so much to you all, and thank you to Newins Ford for my brand new Bronco! I highly recommend working with these people and this dealership! 💙

2022-07-02Newins is one of the best dealers I have ever done business with. Their staff is amazing all around and Dan Salvatore is one of the best sales consultants you can ask for. 4 vehicles and counting from them and shout out to service and Xavier.

2022-05-26Recently picked up my new bronco from Newins. My sales guy Paul Su was absolutely great to work with. Entire process was quick and easy. Paul and Newins value your time, no getting stuck in the dealership for hours and hours. Got me a great price on the truck and my trade in. I cannot recommend Paul enough, he was super nice, no bs, and managed to get me a bronco pretty quickly considering what is going on in the auto industry. If you are in the market for a bronco, Paul Su at Newins is the man to see. A+ Dealership, and the truck is awesome.

2022-03-04Could not be happier with the buying experience. Dan Salvatore and Newins Ford delivered a perfect customer experience. From the moment I reached out with a brief inquiry about a new Ranger Tremor. I was responded to quickly, got a quote immediately. When I showed up at the dealer the truck was cleaned and ready for a test drive. The entire process could not have been more seamless and pleasant. Their attention to detail and my satisfaction was unparalleled- going above and beyond in every aspect!

2022-05-10Had a great experience at Newins Ford. Paul Su is an outstanding salesperson. He made the process of obtaining my 2022 Explorer Platinum very easy and pleasurable. Soft spoken and a true gentleman. I will most certainly see him again for my next vehicle. I highly recommend Paul Su if your in the market for a new ford. Bryan, the general sales manager, also very easy and pleasant to work with. There to answer any and all question. Both he and Paul always returned my calls promptly. 2022-06-15I have always had the most attentive and professional service from Newins Ford. My salesman, Rodney Vera, is the only car salesman I will deal with. Honesty and integrity are they just words to describe his work.
