Go to the Canadian side of the falls. Crossing the border is easy. It’s worth it because the views of all the falls is better and there are many more restaurants and activities. Tourist friendly.HIGHLY RECOMMEND the boat trip that goes close to the falls. One on Canadian side and one on US side. Feel the POWER!
Would highly recommend to visit and spend some time with Nature. Mesmerizing views, flow of water is so relaxing. Having a falls view hotel is an addon but even without that take a walk by fall, take cruise into the fall, walk down to fall and many more fun activities to do..
Niagara Falls is truly a wonder of mother nature and definitely one of the most beautiful places I have visited. It was worth the long drive all the way from Boston :) They say the Canadian side is better, but I think this is spectacular. Get on the boat that will take you close to the Waterfalls. You may get wet if its windy, but it is an experience that you will remember. This is a must do, put it on you bucket list :)
One of the most beautiful places I have ever been. A natural wonder thats gorgeous from both the US and Canadian side. Stand above the falls, overlook them from the Observation Deck, get up close and personal on the Maid Of The Mist, theres multiple ways to experience the falls! Be sure to stay till nightfall and see the falls lit up multicolored and the summer time fireworks!
Visited for the first time. The place captivate everyone of us with its magnificent beauty, and also we can take a close look while walking on the side walks. The falls will litted with light at night which is very beautiful to experience. Further, there is a small wrench right behind the mall, which will take us to the top, and the charges will be 3 CAD for one way trip. We can see the nicer view of the falls while travelling in that wrench.
Niagara Falls is easily accessible from Canada by car. The place offers stunning views of the falls, and many ways to enjoy them. The cruise is a thrilling adventure, where you go very close to the falls. They’ll provide you with a poncho, but be ready to get soaked ;-)
Absolutely a must to visit at least once. Plan to visit the Canadian side for the best views and attractions.Doing a boat tour under the falls is really the best way to get a true feel for the massive size and volume of water moving through the falls.Mid summer is peak tourist season so the most is going on. (Longer lines) Winter is the slowest time with the least going on. (No lines)
World best waterfall in this world in Canada…..One of the best waterfalls I have ever seenLength wise it’s the longest oneSeen from behind the waterfall from the tunnelThere is store with momentous items and gift items for our loved ones and family friendsThere were many items to selectThere was a rest room present for our useParking lot is available here.
Second time on the Canadian side, and last time was decades ago. Good culturally diverse experience. Nice fireworks show, lots to do for free when the whole town seems to be gouging you the rest of the time. Anyways, very glad to bring my toddler here. She is thoroughly enjoying Canada!
Niagra Falls has been on my bucket list for a long long time! And I was without a doubt not disappointed with our visit. The falls itself is absolutely spectacular. The views, the thrill, the buzz is absolutely brilliant! We gave ourselves the whole day to wander around here, and you would want it all!We set off early, we visited the falls from the underground chambers for the visitors and it was absolutely fantastic. We spent a couple of hours wandering around, taking in the breath-taking views and the complete charm of the area.We then got something to eat at the hard rock cafe, which was lovely. We then walked along the frontal areas where shops scattered with plenty to do.The only one thing I would say, if I really had to nick pick, would be with some of the shops on the street on the strip, they seem very run down and dull. This may be perhaps because we visited in October, but other than that, it was a tremendous day out for the whole family.
Beautiful falls, especially from the observation deck (free admission). American side doesnt offer as good of views due to the angle of the falls, especially horseshoe falls but you can check out three sisters and goat island . Went in the winter, its very chilly so dress appropriately and the paths are a little slick and not very crowded. I definitely recommend seeing the falls at night its a whole another experience. Parking is $5.00.
It will be good to book tickets in advance especially on the weekend to escape from waiting in the queue. If at all you wish to use binoculars try to take cents and be awake its gonna finish in very few seconds though it will be around 1 minute span, try to adjust binoculars faster get a great view of falls.
We are travelling from NYC in late December and trying to plan the best day trip. Thinking of flying into buffalo as its quicker and less hassle than a coach trip or seems so. Then Im not sure whats best!.Should we get a transfer to the US side and walk to Canadian side and back again. Then get the transfer back to the airport from US side.Or get dropped at one side and picked up from the other, if thats better then where should we start?Happy to add trips in but what will we realistically have time to do. Also I think there may be a light show on at 4.30pm. Should we stay for that?I know it will be really cold, so not sure how long we should plan to go for.Any advice would be greatly appreciated
The place of dreams. I never thought I could get there. So incredibly beautiful. Many people visit this place. Get ready to stand in line. Do not be afraid to climb the stairs to the waterfall. It is infinitely beautiful there. I love it. If you have the opportunity to visit Niagara Falls, take this opportunity👌🏻😍
Niagara Falls, Ontario, is a Canadian city at the famous waterfalls of the same name, linked with the U.S. by the Rainbow Bridge. Its site on the Niagara Rivers western shore overlooks the Horseshoe Falls, the cascades most expansive section. Elevators take visitors to a lower, wetter vantage point behind the falls
Was digging out old photos and came across some from about 15-17 years ago. Remember being on location about 4 hours southeast. Was middle of winter. Very very cold. We drive there anyway just because we are risk takers. Life is to short not to take these moments. So glad we did. We havent been back up in the area in all these years. Embrace the moments! Life is short. Live it. Love each other. Peace.
The Falls was less busy, which is expected at this time of the year. The past two days was very sunny which gave a boost to the amazing scenery. Rainbow on the falls was one of the priceless experience I have ever had since I started visiting the falls. The Walk behind the Falls was not great, probably the chilly weather didnt help, I didnt get value for my money on this tour. The Skylon Tower was one of my highlights, the open sky and the sunny day made the view very beautiful. They could do with a few binoculars at level 3,We didnt have time to have dinner and experience the revolving carousel bar.
You can spend an entire day here if you want, but if you only have half a day and want to get soaked, go on the Cave of the Winds. The Maid of the Mist was great, and it was cool to be so close to the falls - but if youve got that American spirit you need to go *IN* the falls.I did not expect to enjoy the falls as much as I did. Im not a fan of large crowds or the rampant commercialization of the adjacent streets. But standing in the splash zone, visiting Timmie Hos in Canada, and being generally touristy was quite fun. Go early and on a weekday if you can - the crowds are a bit smaller.
The waterfalls of Niagara Falls are located on the Niagara River which connects two of the five Great Lakes. Lake Erie and Lake Ontario.Collectively the waterfalls are named Niagara Falls. They consist of three different waterfalls. The American Falls and the Bridal Veil Falls in the USA and the Canadian “Horseshoe” Falls in Canada. The Niagara River serves as an international border between the USA & Canada. There are two distinctive cities. Niagara Falls Ontario, Canada and Niagara Falls New York, United States of America. For the American Falls in Niagara Falls New York use 301 Prospect Street Niagara Falls NY.For the Canadian Falls in Niagara Falls Ontario Canada use 6650 Niagara Pkwy Niagara Falls Ontario Canada.
Beautiful views. Niagara Falls was on my bucket list and it did not disappoint. It was crowded, especially for a chilly day with sprinkling rain showers and as covid cases are winding down. I can’t imagine how crowded it would have been on a summer day before we ever knew what this new covid was.Would have loved to have seen informational boards that shared facts about the history falls. Plan to return to the falls someday to do the boat ride and tour the power plant.Wonderful trip that we will remember forever.
Wow!!!Awesome, Breathtaking, Beautiful, Gorgeous, Spectacular Niagara Falls. It is one of the natural wonders of the world. We come here every season, each and every time it feels surprisingly different and amazing. You will be pleased to see a welcoming rainbow over the falls almost always :).All time favourite place to visit when living in Ontario. It’s for all ages and all seasons. There are lots of attractions nearby in all seasons. You can plan activities like cave of the winds, maid of the mist boat tour during daytime and when these attraction are open. In the evening, the falls are lit up and visit the Clifton hill for other activities. Falls is a must visit during both day and night time.
This place is so lively and the fall is so mesmerizing and huge white giant water body that no one can take their eyes off of this beauty. So many things to do around the park by the falls and even in Niagara town that has so many amusement and entertainment to offer from restaurants to bars and top hotel accommodation and casinos too.
The view was perfect and i went there for vacation for 4 days. The weather was pretty good around 50 degrees and not much cloud covering the sun. I suggest if the weather is good you can walk across to the island in the middle of the waterfall and you can take photos there. If the sun is good and the spotlight is directly exposed to waterfall dew. Then you can see a rainbow in the waterfall. a very beautiful and rare experience that I experienced. Dont forget to also bring 25 cent coins if you want to see the binoculars located along the waterfall.
I dont think I need to explain about the marvelous beauty of this mother natures wonder. The only thing I want to emphasize here is when I reached there I experienced a peculiar feeling that I cant explain. The roaring beauty of the Niagara transferred me to another world. Whoever has the luxury and luck, dont hesitate visit there and experience the power of nature. Niagara is a mind-blowing experience in all seasons as far as I know. Dont miss the one of a kind boating experience from either side of the river.
Best scenic view of Niagara is from Canada. Watch out for lights and firecrackers. New Year celebrations are always good here with lot of folks coming in from all over Ontario and other parts to join the celebration in the vicinity of the majestic falls.Light show during Christmas and remember the food outlets close by 10:30/11:00pm. Lot of parking space on centre street, starting from $5 (if you are early).
Very ecstatic and unique creation of nature. I recommend coming early in the morning time to get some Photoshoot by the Falls. You feel very peaceful and calm by coming to this place as if you forget everything and leaving behind the noisy and polluted city life. This is one of the best spot to go on vacation away from busy life. Except when the crowd comes it gets really busy and gets challenging to get some shots of the natural water falls 🙄 🙃 😒. But, overall very calm and nice place to spend weekends or long holidays with friends & family.
Majestic place. Must visit. Just Cave of the Winds, Maid of the Mist and a Walk around the Park will easily complete your entire Day. The place is generally crowded. On a busy or long week end it is extremely crowded. But great place to visit. There is a nearby 20 mins drive from Niagara Falls where you can try Jet/Speed Boat ride on the Waters. Its exciting too but make sure to sit in the Front two rows for more fun/water splash.
Amazing. Visiting from Los Angeles. Amazing Canada has the better view. USA side was the only one operating the Mist boat ride. Canada session hasn’t open yet. Still worth the visit if you come off session. If you are riding the bus into Niagara Fall from Toronto. Please get a WeGo card for 10 bucks. The green line is what your looking for. Crossing the border is pretty easy.
It was a great experience to visit the Niagra Falls yesterday, what makes it special yesterday than the previous visits was the Niagra Cruise ride. The kids loved the most. The place was very clean and the staff looked happy to see the business came back after the COVID.
The might Niagara Falls is surely a must visit and is indeed rightly famous as the top tourist destination. But how to get the best view? The best view you can get of Niagara falls is in the ferry! Must recommended. It’s a $38 per person including taxes and it’s surely worth it.They give you ponchos to save your clothers from getting wet from the water drizzling that happens around the falls but still be prepared to get your shoes and all wet.At the end it’s all worth it and you would want to go again. Will I go again? Yes
Amazing experience! The view is breathtaking! The park has signs and easy to follow maps for best experience. The observation platform was open and entrance was free today, I don’t know if it is always free, however is worth it. Wear layers or raincoats because of the mist as it comes in waves with the wind. All walking, sightseeing zones in the park are completely free. Wonderful place!
That was one of my best ever experiences 🤩👌 I believe that everyone in canada should come and see this awesome fall😊 You never forget this memory. You have a chance to ride a 🚢⛵ or go near the water 💦 I be there in November at that was wonderful experience. Also you can see many thing in the city and around that. Like Butterfly conservatory, Botanical garden and...
Niagara Falls is a group of three waterfalls at the southern end of Niagara George, spanning the border between the province of Ontorio in Canada and the state of NY in the US. The largest of the three is horseshoe falls, also known as the Canadian Falls, which straddles the international border of the two countries.Niagara River, which drains Lake Erie into Lake Ontario, the combined falls have the highest flow rate of any waterfall in North America that has a vertical drop of more than 50 m (160 ft). During peak daytime tourist hours, more than 168,000 m.Open 365 days a year, Niagara Falls State Park has awe-inspiring scenery! It also features thrilling attractions, interactive exhibits, miles of hiking trails, and delectable dining options in a family-friendly environment. If you going to USA dont forget to going to here...
Dont get me wrong this place is gorgeous. Its just way too touristy for my taste. I imagine if I walked through the jungle or hiked a mountain and found this beauty I would be in total awe and mesmerized. Just all the people and development surrounding it kills off the vibe a little.
Niagara Falls is a must see for all nature lovers. From the bike trails where you can rent bikes to the manyinteractive activities to participate in. The Maid of the Mist boat ride was the highlight of the trip. We stayed at the Red Coach Inn that was located directly across from the rapids section. Everything was within walking distance from this hotel I would highly recommend. Niagara Falls has something to offer during each season. Make sure that the activity you want to participate in is open during the time that you want to go. Make sure you go to the falls also during the night hours... they like the falls up at night and they are spectacular. The best place to view them at night is from the American falls viewing area from where they sell Maid of the Mist tickets.
The most amazing experience that I’ve had and it made my Birthday the best ever!! Loved that I got to spend my Birthday at the falls and specially the boat ride is the best!! I laughed so much when we were taken near the falls and got soaked and was so worth it!! Niagara Falls is a must visit to anyone whose visiting the US or whose visiting the East Coast!Love it and definitely take the boat ride!
What a lovely park. Fun for the whole family, even dogs in some sections! I believe that some images of this extraordinary natural blessing should be included in every family album. Seeing one of the worlds most famous and tallest waterfalls was an unforgettable experience. This is a must-see location. If you are a nature lover than youll love the falls.
Niagara Falls- amazing God creation. I enjoyed the Cave of the Winds most but riding the boat with the Lady of the Mist is also great! They said Canada side is better but when you’re able to go to both sides like we did, it’s the same joy as long as you try their attractions like cave of the winds!
(AMERICAN SIDE) View the jaw dropping beauty of Niagara Falls! You can go for a boat ride on the maid of the mist for an up-close encounter with the Rainbow falls, venture to the cave of the winds to experience the pounding water of the bridal falls and hurricane level winds, ride the trolley all day for only $3 per person, stop by the visitor center and gift shop, walk the observation tower, and more! Be prepared for a lot of walking if you plan to do all of the attractions. They also have multiple trails to hike as well. Prices may seem pricey at first, but all money spent is well worth it. Parking is $15 on the weekends and $10 on weekdays. You can probably guess that this natural wonder is breath taking and awe inspiring but it’s better than can be explained in words and you must experience it yourself. There are multiple shops and food establishments with exotic choices in the “central park” area as well as a small made-to-order food court on Goat Island. Overall, the park is very clean, and the staff is kind and personable, and most areas are dog friendly. Take lots of picture (a waterproof phone case is highly recommended) as you will want to capture the moment even though the beauty of being there in person will not be the same when looking back at the photos. Be prepared to be amazed at the rushing water, class 6 rapids, misty rainbows, and rock formations. You’ll be blown away!
Niagara Falls is stunningly beautiful, no matter how many pictures you look at before you see it in person. The lights at night are amazing, the fireworks show is fun, the boat tour is a blast, it leaves you looking at awe at the sheer amount of water that falls down the waterfall on a consistent basis. You will want a raincoat or a poncho if you take the boat tour, because you will get wet. The views from basically any hotel room are pretty. As Jimmy Fallon said, The Canada side is like Vegas, there are lights... the New York side is like the cover of a Lemony Snickett book cover. Well work on that. I hope its improved since I visited, but this was true then. I would highly recommend anybody that is able to see these great falls. You wont be disappointed!
Niagara Falls is a group of three waterfalls at the southern end of Niagara Gorge, spanning the border between the province of Ontario in Canada and the state of New York in the United States. The largest of the three is Horseshoe Falls, also known as the Canadian Falls, which straddles the international border of the two countries.[1] The smaller American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls lie within the United States. Bridal Veil Falls is separated from Horseshoe Falls by Goat Island and from American Falls by Luna Island, with both islands situated in New York.Formed by the Niagara River, which drains Lake Erie into Lake Ontario, the combined falls have the highest flow rate of any waterfall in North America that has a vertical drop of more than 50 m (160 ft). During peak daytime tourist hours, more than 168,000 m3 (5.9 million cu ft) of water goes over the crest of the falls every minute.[2] Horseshoe Falls is the most powerful waterfall in North America, as measured by flow rate.[3] Niagara Falls is famed for its beauty and is a valuable source of hydroelectric power. Balancing recreational, commercial, and industrial uses has been a challenge for the stewards of the falls since the 19th century.Niagara Falls is located 27 km (17 mi) north-northwest of Buffalo, New York, and 69 km (43 mi) south-southeast of Toronto, between the twin cities of Niagara Falls, Ontario, and Niagara Falls, New York. Niagara Falls was formed when glaciers receded at the end of the Wisconsin glaciation (the last ice age), and water from the newly formed Great Lakes carved a path over and through the Niagara Escarpment en route to the Atlantic Ocean.
Niagara means the Strait which flows between America and Canada border.America side falls named as American falls and Braided veil falls which is man made falls, Canada side named as Horse Shoe falls which is by natural falls.Panoramic view of the falls is unbeatable. Night view of the falls is so colorful, maid of mist which we go in cruise and they will take near horse shoe falls. One of the most beautiful waterfalls.

The Niagara falls are spectacular. Truly an amazing force of nature the attractions are worth watching here. However, I wish Id known that some attractions are not available in April due to ice. I was planning to spend the day, visit cave of the winds, maid of the mist, etc. Both were closed due to ice. Viewing areas were being closed due to wind. Its understandable that safety must come first, but I wish there had been some indication of that on the websites. So I had to visit later in summer to see the view. This is lifetime experience. Very truly it’s a wonder of world. I will suggest to plan the day before visiting. If you spend one time at Niagra falls then you can get most of it.
I have been fortunate in my travels to see some amazing places and for me this was one of them. I have no idea why this is not one of the eight wonders of the world. I can’t describe my feeling but would for sure recommend anyone wanting to see Mother Nature to experience it in close range. Again truly blessed to still experience some super unique things in my life 🙏🏿
Mapping Niagra Falls or planning it on first time is not really my agenda. I just make a trip. Be lost and confused but in a matter of time I could make the second trip more relaxing and entertaining. Its like reading a book or watching a movie. You might not like it or you might but the second time reading or watching it is more intellectual. (Interesting)..
Niagara falls Toronto side was epic! Always such a nice place to visit and see how powerful it is and how big. The weather was beautiful and we saw both the states side and canada side. Very good to go there at night with the lights or take the skywheel to see it from an aerial view
Most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Experienced the sunrise at Niagra.. The golden rays that reflect from the water is phenomenal. Do visit here..Also there are many motels nearby where the visitors can stay as the hotels are quite costly due to the prime location. There are cheap train tickets to Niagra in summer. Also the ferry boat rides start in summer.
One of the most renowned landmarks in the world located between Canada and USA. the spectacular natural waterfall that looks much better from the Canadian side than the USA side from the Canadian site we can see a few of the USA Falls as well as the Horseshoe Falls. If youre planning to go on a cruise to view the Falls closer you should prepare to get wet even though they give a poncho to cover youIt is an area you can spend the morning to afternoon and the night; a whole day of activities is there waiting for you
Excellent --- we can spend 2 whole days in all activities here, personally I loved journey behind the falls ( must visit) & sky wheel for air view, worth it, Clifton street walk is must at night time. Colors of life are visible there. Yum food places and lots of lots of kids areas are in Clifton street. Horn blower cruise trip is awesome experience and a must if you visit NIAGRA falls.
Came a long way to see the falls. Was a bit tricky navigating and trying to find parking but when we did get to where we wanted to be there was plenty of spaces available. The spray and the sound of the falls could be heard long before it was visible. Wasnt the best time for a visit as we came during the winter months so they fenced off the areas there were closer to the falls. Nonetheless it was a sight to behold. There was a gift shop onsite also with decent selection. The next time I come I will aim for better weather.
One of the most beautiful natural wonders. Its an absolute must visit. The view of the falls at day time and at night time is totally different experience. Its a must see at day and at night. Breathtaking and spectacular. Great for all ages. Plenty of activities. Clifton hill is always lively and bustling. Cuisines from around the world can be experienced.
Niagara Falls is a long-time favourite of mine. I almost always park at Dufferin Islands and walk to the falls. Note, for those of you that havent been here for a while, the crescent-shaped road around the island is one-way now, so there is only one entrance to the road and its parking. Pay attention to the road signs showing the entrance. The walk from Dufferin Island to the falls takes about 25 to 30 minutes, depending on how many times you stop to soak in the sights and the turbulent waters of the Niagara River. Its a terrific walk. I never tire of it.
Crowded in the summers? Yes. But crowd or no crowd, this is one of those bucket list stops or visits that you have to make at some point in your life. It is everything that anyone has ever said about it and more. Spectacular. Inspiring. Gorgeous. Breathtaking. Beautiful. Awesome. Humbling.
The best place on earth, he is the only one so majestic. a large entertainment complex. Waterfall, tower and many additions to it. .very profitable now with a 50% discount. people travel at any time of the year and in any weather. many hotels and restaurants, parking lots. the whole coastline cannot be bypassed in a day. there is everything for every taste .
Canada has many unbelievably beautiful landmarks I can confidently say that Niagra Falls is at the top. The view you get is magnificent specially if you are lucky enough to see a giant rainbow coming out of the falls. It was so great that we couldnt leave the place even though it was late!
A pre-requisite of either being a Canadian or on visitorvisa to Canada 🍁- visit Niagara Falls and get drenched by its splash or drizzle supplemented by its fine wine, if suits you.Niagara Falls has many views and spots to offer from which prominent are Horseshoe falls & Cave of the winds lookout falls , though on American side is best viewed from this side. Both can be viewed from Niagara park side and no fees levied.Right from Niagara park, the mystic mists of Niagara Falls can be seen. Stroll along the pathway towards table rock park , entrance for horse shoe falls. So far you see different angles of falls but having reached the final horseshoe falls from table rock entrance, the magnitude of both the crystal clear water flow and turning itself into a natural wonder and phenomenon is just breathtaking. Experience the same here at this spot.Soak in nature’s beauty and fury till satisfying. For first timers parking opposite falls is almost CAD 15 per hour whereas nearby skylon towers is almost CAD 15 / 20 per daytime. Hope this helps. This first visit revolves around day time.An second visit happens spontaneously to celebrate the night lifestyle at Niagara Falls. Visited Clifton hills road, niagara skywheels, dinosaurs golf trek, horror shows and other shows including the stroll around the hill road supplemented by local food eateries.Posting photos of Niagara @ nightlife.Spare a day for this too to enjoy.Enjoy.
This is absolutely incredible! We came here in January, not the best time due to the weather but still a fantastic experience. The Canadian sides view is 10 times better than the US sides view. Be prepared to spend extra cash if you want to pay for food or snacks on site due to tourist prices.
Years ago I had been to the Canadian side of the falls, and recalled that the American side was pretty run down. During this visit we stayed on the American side and really enjoyed it! The park lets you see both falls, and the Maid of the Mist tour has upgraded the boats so that they take you into spectacular views!
Best place to visit if somebody is visiting CanadaNigara fallsI not seeing single homeless people anywhere in nigara falls area or I not even seen single homeless people in down town areaIn nigara falls people are so nicePublic feel safe from.homless and drugs peopleNot like usa if someone visit to Los angles and san franciscoHomeless people everywhere and drugs everywhereAnd they also doesnt have smash and gabbing any where in canda
This is a simply spectacular place worth going to .. Parking is 15 dollars all day Weekends .. the entrance to the boat is 25 dollars .. children 6 years and older 12 ... children under 5 years do not pay .. If you go to this place you must go prepared to walk a lot, and carry a lot of water to hydrate yourself. The line to get on the boat can be very long, although the day I went it was short and fast
Niagara Falls from the Canadian side. One of the most amazing sites in the world. The hornblower boat is an absolute must, ventures underneath the American and Canadian falls. Tip, dont put the poncho on u till you get to the boat, otherwise youll melt under the sun and bring a towel and a change of socks 😉 (Go right under the mist)Got the Niagara Toronto Tours package from Toronto, included collection from downtown Toronto and return to downtown Toronto and a stop on Niagara on the Lake. Michael the tour guide and Roman the driver were excellent and really made the trip a joy 😊
A truly unique experience. The massive and roaring falls will fill you with awe. You MUST do BOTH the boat cruise and cave of the winds. Once the boat penetrates the mountain arc, you will be surrounded by waterfalls from three sides: the noise, the pressure, and feeling are hard to describe; it’s something truly unique. The cave of the winds experience is also great. You will see a close up waterfall from downhill: the powerful, high pressure, and roaring water will make you feel small yet ONE with nature at the same time.
Snow at Niagara makes it super cold. Horseshoe falls have a better sight from Canada. Dont walk up the goat island to see horseshoe, its a waste. You see nothing, its all cordoned off with fences. All activities are closed Oct onwards. Most Indian restaurants showing up on google maps are closed and they dont bother updating the details. Hotels negotiate room rates in off peak season.
Dont skimp out coming here - there are lots of attractions to see the Falls that are well worth it! Go behind the falls, see the Hydroelectric museum, ride the Sky Wheel, and get scared in a haunted house. Its all worth the memories! The falls light up at night and look stunning. WEAR COMFY SHOES!!
Absolutely breathtaking and the ride of a life time maid of the mist ferry ride is the most exhilarating and fun loving, youll laugh and if you like being wet, its like being sprayed with a water hose, so much fun, enjoy it friends and family or strangers, all will experience excitement
If your in Ontario you have to go to Niagara fall. The boat ride is a must to enjoy the full experience. I recommend you book the tickets for the boat in advance to avoid the long lines. Also I would advise that you wear a flip flop or sandals on the boat as your shoes will get wet.If you can stay for the night and spend the whole day their as the view in the night with the lights are magnificent
Very nice place and breathe taking moment, when you see that falls. Canada is just a corner so you can ho to the other side too and enjoy it. You can also get a boat atria and go near the fall. You will be wet even if you wearing a rain coat. You can also see black squirrel.
Majestic-June 2021walk along the parkway, to view the falls from a variety of different angles. The falls represent the power of nature at its best. Truly majestic. Go down the American and bridal wail falls close by to experience the mist. And dont forget to come back at night when the falls are lit up in ever changing colors. Not a bad idea to visi during the time of COVID, it wasnt at all crowded.
It’s a beautiful place that the United States is not taking Fully care of. I came in winter, most of the commercial places are abandoned, there’s nothing to do in the city, and the park is half way closed. The sad thing is that you could see across the border the city of Ontario super lid and beautiful. It’s somewhat disappointing
Beautiful and amazing Falls. The Falls border between the province of Ontario Canada and the state of New York in the United States. The largest of the three is Horse Falls also known as Canadian Falls, which straddle the international border of the two countries. The smaller American Falls and Bridal Falls. 💧🌞. Excelent views, you can visit the Falls with all your family 👪 most of the time you can see the rainbow 🌈 many attractions around to have a unforgettable experience 🛥🚶♀️🏃♀️🚴♀️
Amazing to see this spectacular site!!My wife and I decided to spontaneously drive from Michigan, after her patients were no shows. We crossed at the Blue Water Bridge and made our way from there. We arrived at 3 a.m. and found a room within 5 min of the Niagra Falls. After leaving the hotel, our GPS had us do a circle, yet we managed to find our way rather easily without it. Parking at first was touchy, for mist parking is all for various hotel guests as a parking attendant informed us. However we found parking directly across the street from the falls. Wepaid for a daily parking pass which costs 30 CAD, which is currently $24.15 US.The views are awe inspiring! The shear volume of water comprising the falls is mind boggling. There are many attractions to observe or take oart in on the Canadian side if the falls. We visited the area for approximately three hours and enjoyed ourselves, it was very peaceful and uplifting experience... We are already planning our next trip.
Of course the nature here is just beyond marvelous. You can read all about the falls or see its photos but nothing compares to the immensity of the thing itself. Highly recommend the boats. Its really worth the price. You cannot appreciate how massive and monstrous the falls really are until you stand at the bottom of them dwarfed by the natures power. Theres good entertainment for kids (and adults) around the falls, especially a nicely big arcade. Food options are good too, including Mandarin, a buffet-style restaurant. If you can, dont miss the night lights on the falls.
It is such a wonderful place to visit. I have been waiting to visit this place, and I finally got the chance to enjoy the falls with my mother. My mother and I were so happy to watch the falls. We also took photos. The boat tour is another best way to enjoy the beauty of the falls from down. I should visit again to enjoy the boat tour and to watch the beauty of the falls at night. Thank you:)
Such a great place to walk around and experience the natural beauty of the river and falls. The experience was great. I totally recommend for anyone that wants to walk around nature and all its beauty. The park gives you the ability to walk across several little islands and experience as much of the falls as possible. You can walk the park or take the trolley. I did both and I loved it.
Had amazing experience with this location, well organized parking space [Costly but you can find chipset too if you agree to walk]Additionally night life is different over this location. If we talk about food cost it is costlier as it is tourist place. All over experience after visiting multiple times always had good experience except some food restaurants.

2022-05-11Majestic, Breathtaking and Stunning! The grandeur of the falls can be experienced by taking Maid of the Mist Boat tour and the force of the falls can be experienced by taking the Cave of the winds tour. Be prepared to get soaked in these tours. Seeing the falls up close is truly a surreal feeling which one has to experience. Highly recommended to book Discovery Pass online and save some money for all the major attractions + trolley tour.

2022-06-01Absolutely breathtaking!! Running in the state park was the most enjoyable time I ever had throughout this pandemic. Listening to the falls and looking at the blossomimg flowers! Spring was here in early May! Maid of the Mist & the Observatory deck are not to be missed! Happy to get this bucket list checked ✔️

2022-05-17Wow... these falls are an amazing sight. Truly majestic and a bucket list item for sure. The Table Rock Centre is a must see. Amazingly close to the falls for the BEST pics. The behind the falls attraction is really cool, telling the stories of the falls. You literally walk behind the falls, with 2 lookout points half way around the falls.Happy to check this off the bucket list!

2022-05-30Went every year from 2014-2016 and it takes about six hours one way from Connecticut.I think its best during summer to beat the heat but theres always crowds.A passport is required to see the falls from Canada.I enjoyed walking through the park and seeing the falls from different angles. Its lit up at night time and must be nice to see when its frozen during winter.

2022-04-12This place is beautiful, even in early April. Grab your walking shoes and check out all the trails around the Falls. Unfortunately, there was a lot of construction happening down by the water and streets that made it very difficult to see from just driving around. The multiple bus tour parking lots take up prime scenery and what would be excellent parking for families, seniors and those whom are or maybe physically challenged. Im looking forward to visiting again later this summer.

2022-06-11Everyone says it’s better from Canada. But the reality is the view and experience of the falls is the same, but the difference is Canadian side is more commercialized than the New York. It’s huge falls and the maid of the mist is the best experience to view the falls.Love the different views of the falls and it’s scary to look deep down from top.

2022-03-12Simply stunning! We went here when on holiday in Toronto in October 2021.We were extremely lucky as because of Covid the area was absolutely empty and it felt like we were the only ones there. The views were absolutely stunning. We did the behind the falls tour which was really interesting and you did get a couple of really good and different views from the falls. We also did the boat trip out to the falls which is a MUST if you go here as it was absolutely amazing to be up that close to the actual falls. This really was a special place and a definite must see!

2022-06-14Went for the entire experience. Its Niagara falls. Its amazing. Great way to spend our 20th anniversary. Lot of walking. Great exercise if you want but less strenuous ways to go up and down the hill that are reasonably priced. The incline train is only 7 dollars for a day pass worth the money.

2022-02-28Absolutely Beautiful! Ive seen this place in the summer time on the Canadian side and in the winter on the US side. Although there are more separate attractions in the summer, seeing it in the winter with the snow and ice is also amazing! Make sure you visit it at night too when they turn on the lights! God Bless America!!
