Good people that helped us out on our first adventure. It is expensive (Nassau County/Long Beach $$$) and very windy considering next to the water. Also not all sites have sewer holes and the public showers were cold. Also you have to park in the visitor lot after 9pm and walk to your trailer. Not fun when its cold and you have lots of stuff. Thank goodness for a child stroller wagon lol.

Will not Honor Contract we have and Paid for. We booked 4 weeks and have been going for years! We were always given 4 free passes for use of the Pools. The beach is a Very far walk you drive to the beach parking lot, then walk 3/4 of a mile to actual water front. After we agreed and paid for our stay they now changed the agreement saying you now have to pay per person per day to use the Pool. Not what we agreed to and paid for. Won’t refund our money either! Also closed the Dog Park and Golf Area. Paying a lot to stay in one spot. Being held Hostage.

NOT Worth it. $72 for a parking lot?! No direct beach access, no privacy, facilities are run down.

The park’s direction starts with Meadowbrook Parkway South that has a max height of 7’ 10” All the other Parkways going to Jones Beach Island have the same limitation. If your RV is any higher, there is Long Beach road and, maybe, the 878.The office is at the beach Administration building on the other side of adjacent parking lot. This campground is the most hidden gem we ever had to find!

First of all, please read campground driving directions or you will spend hours circling around, trying to avoid low bridges!! I wish they had warned us of that!! The park is a good bit of a walk to the beach. Nearby campers were noisy and their music loud until 10:00 pm quiet time. However, park personnel were very friendly and helpful.

My family and I came down for a last summer vacation. During our time we were treated unbelievably disrepectful. There were individuals smoking pot all over the camp site. There were out of state campers from red states with covid. There was no social distancing. My brother had a few beers on a Friday and decided to sleep in the bed of his truck which we are allowed to have on site, 1 car per site and they kicked us out the next morning. We were Not roudy, everyone was sleeping by 10pm. However there were other sites partying till 530 am and multiple cares on sites. No one else was getting yelled at. It’s all who you know when staying at this rv. We will not be returning and neither will the rest of my family who had rvs. We come as a family and take up 5 sites with 5 rvs for 2 weeks each summer. Will never be back. You should me ashamed of your rv location.

Im not sure if Im knowledgeable enough to review this campground as I didnt actually stay there but.... Im gonna write about what I saw.Youd pass by Nickerson Beach Campground if youre going to Nickerson Beach. Theyre actually the same address. On my visit there were about 6-8 RVs but I cannot say if they were occupied. Im thinking they were because I stopped off to use their washroom and there was a cleaning person on duty. The campground looks huge but I cant say how many RVs it can hold. The End.

Not a fan.... grass is overgrown unless you’re a resident camper who cuts their own grass as well as landscapes their own pad. I guess no one cares about the people who actually pay for their spots. Campsites are not well maintained. Bathrooms are old, not well lit. If a shanty-town is your type of atmosphere, then you will enjoy it.

Clean park with the beach not to far and very good family atmosphere. Different size campers welcome no tents other areas of interest during the summer is Malibu beach club right next to campgrounds where you get live music and food swimming pools.
