Its been a handful of years since weve last been, until this year. Its not as scary as it used to be. Some of the monsters as they call them were really not in character and just casually talking nonsense and laughing with other riders on our hay ride and it was pretty lame. Over the years the main attractions and story havent changed so its to be expected. The craftsmanship in the props were great. Things have expanded to include more attractions, which gives more of an experience, but theyre more like mazes. We had hardly any scares. I most likely, unfortunately, wouldnt spend the money again.
TERRIBLE!We had to wait over a hour in line for the tractor event, we waited over a hour and ended up ditching the whole experience. Lines were ginormous although the actors were great, they didnt make up for the terrible experience we had and I only wish it did not feel as rushed as it had. Definitely not worth going out of the way for.
This was my first time at Night Terrors. I have already been to MM Haunted Hayride and Field of Horrors this season. My only compliment is that the dead end trail is the best attraction here. It is wonderfully done. It has a trail and corn maze, pop up scares, and good props. To get to the dead end trail you have to get on the hayride. This is the most poorly done attraction, you will wait 1-3 hours to get on. I got in line and the wagon had a wheel that wasnt on properly so we had to wait for it to get fixed. Once I was done waiting in the main line, we lined up in queues like if you were riding a rollercoaster. The Tractor only comes every 5 minutes and takes the speed line first, so sometimes the wagon gets filled up before any other lines get on (there are 6 queues total). They randomly pick which lines get to go. So the tractor comes, management talks for about 3 minutes, then they let the speed line in, them they talk for about 2 minutes, let a random line in, talk for about 5 minutes and finally let the tractor go. Then, you wait about 5 minutes for the next tractor. On top of that, their tractors arent made for mud and they change out the tractors every 30mins-1 hour which take10- 20 minutes each. So you will wait a long long time. The people are volunteers so once you finally get on the hayride you wont even be scared. It got awkward at times just watching the volunteers trying to scare the people. The makeup also could be done better (did not look real and it looked the same on most volunteers).I would not recommend going if youve been to a couple or more scary places. Field of horrors does it better.
Drove over 2 hours to come to this haunted house- expecting it to be at least a little scary. Was VERY let down. Not scary at all- little to no jump scares in every attraction and the actors mostly just talked to you... literally. This could be a good place for families and young children but thats it. $30 for all attractions is far too much for what youre getting, nerveless $50 for a RIP pass. If youre looking to actually be scared dont bother coming. Would not recommend to anyone above the age of 13.
Great cast AWFUL management. So let me put this out there the actors where AMAZING some of the best I have ever seen at a Halloween attractions. The Kraus House was by far the best attraction and Dr. Kraus himself was a great actor I was actually scared by the end of it. However some of the other attractions left me wanting more not because they were great but because they were so short it barely gave me the chance to enjoy it. I bought my ticket online so that when I arrived I didnt have to wait in a long line, I was wrong I had to wait in a line that was moving even slower than the line for people who needed tickets. When I got to the front the women was moving incredibly slow and was up and about helping the other ticket windows(total wait time: ~25mins). The line for the hayride was outrageous I have never seen such a long line not even at large amusement parks. Managements solution was to just keep adding more twists and turns to the line rather than fire up another tractor. And the last attraction you couldnt even get to without riding the hayride.(total wait time:~1.5 hours). Overall very disappointed will NOT being going back do not recommend unless you are a local.
Dont go after a hard rain! We were almost up to our ankles in mud. And my friend was using about 10 napkins to get the mud off of her shoes when some guy said to her that they donβt supply napkins so she can wipe the mud off her feet. Mind you there were four of us and we had just spent $18 to get in and about $20 at their snack bar. We drove 40 minutes to get there and before that comment we were willing to stick it out and finish the maze. Screw that. We donβt need to be harassed about using their terribly thin napkins anyway. We felt unwelcome after that. Donβt waste you money itβs not that great. Save it for Double M or Headless Horseman. Lala was cool though!
Its a typical small run type haunted attraction. A lot of the workers there were volunteers, so it lacked the haunted house feel when being spoke too about the house rules when they are just wearing their own sweatshirts. It just loses the magic/illusions of the attractions. The attractions where lacking in scares and children actors make the experience off putting because you are being grab and touched by the actors. The only thing that was enjoyable was the interactive actors that walked around the ground between the attractions.
I would suggest the field of horrors. This one you have to stay with their program and cant take a break. Also, not worth how much they charge for what you get. The whole thing is about an hour and thats including waiting in line. Great for kids.. Too expensive for adults and make sure you have cash if you want a drink or you will be charged just to use an ATM.
Worst Corn Maze Ive visited they charged us $35 and they didnt even have actors in all the scenes we were told they were actually volunteers not even paid employees. The lines are outrageous I will never go there again. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS PLACE!!!

2021-10-10Freaking awesome!!!Went there last night (10/9) very clear rules, the scare actors were on point into their roles and very friendly boo crew (staff). Some advice, we had teenagers in our group who dropped their cell phones (they were found), bring a small over the shoulder bag to hold your items. The scare actors were very kind with finding their phone but it holds up the line and take the actor out of character.Overall we had a scary wonderful time. Weβre going back next year π»

2019-10-20It was our first time here and my fiancΓ©s first time at a haunted house, we both left laughing and so happy we chose this place. Everything was great, the staff were fun and definitely did there job scaring. Definitely worth the time and money we did the $35pkg. All together we spent about 4 hours, hayride and the dead end walk were about 45 minutes (probably our favorite) the others were about 10 mins once you got in. I really liked the circus, but tbh the whole thing was just great. Recommend π

2019-10-15We went for all five attractions and was worth it had a amazing time. Only suggestion is visit snack bar before you wait in hayride long cause it doesnβt seem like a long wait but turns into a 30-45minute wait at least.

2019-09-29Best upstate Halloween attraction around! Let me start off by saying if people complain that they are waiting too long in lines...isnt that a sign that its a great attraction? Great actors, different themes and props and tons of work and effort put into the scary atmosphere. Very well done, and everyone is friendly and professional. Be prepared, you will be asked to sign waivers and submit to a security check. Worth the money!! Will absolutely be back next year!

2020-10-11Great Experience!! the staff was incredibly nice. i enjoyed a conversation with the woman letting us into the haunt. she spoke super highly of the family who owned the place. she said she was volunteering her time there which i thought was cool. they were AMAZING when it came to covid procedures. i think they had the best covid procedure that iβve seen. all groups were spaced out.everyone had a mask on. you can tell that the owners put in a lot of thought and care into making this place great. i also learned that the owners donate some of the money they make to an animal shelter. i hope to make this a yearly tradition. thank you for a great halloween experience!!!

2016-10-03The very first time I went through night terrors back in 2012 I had an awesome time! I decided to act here and that is also so much fun. I do it every October and I have a blast. Our actors are incredible and stay in character at all times and interact with all of our customers. All of our attractions I would rate an 11/10. Every year we strive to make it a great experience for all of you. We try adding something new every now and again. Youll have a great time here, guaranteed π―

2019-10-26In past years we would travel a few hours downstate to a haunted attraction. At the recommendation of a friend we decided to try Night Terrors, which is only an hour from home. We were skepical but extremely pleased that our expectations were not only met but exceeded. Each character was very dedicated and committed to the scare and they did not disappoint!! The scare and creep factor was far higher than the haunted attraction we had gone in previous years. . We have found our new haunted attraction! Great job!
