Excellent wigs, a large variety of flavors. Golden Thunder is my favorite.
Hands down the BEST garlic parm wings in ALL of Broome County, arguably even as far as NYC. My son came up to visit from NYC, I told him he had to try their garlic parm wings, he still can’t stop talking about them and can’t wait to have them again the next time he comes up lol
Its a little old town bar with great wings!
Heard they had karaoke on Thursdays and called to ask about it. Whos asking? said the person who picked up the phone. LOL okay. If thats how you talk to a potential customer Ill find somewhere else to go. ✌

We certainly had a good time when we went. Their wings are supposedly “world famous,” but I can assure you they are not above and beyond the standard chicken wing. Yes, they have many, many flavors to choose from, but the quality of their wings varies greatly basket to basket. My order was overcooked to the point where the bones were brittle, and I was picking bits of bone from every other mouthful. That being said, my coworker got a good batch and didn’t have any issues with bone shards. Other than that, the atmosphere is good, the bartender was very polite, the beer was cheap. So the top three things to check for a bar, or saloon, are checked. ✔️
This bar had some of the best wings. The wings are crispy and full of flavor. There are several flavors to choose from. The peanut butter with the fluff are outstanding. The price is comparable if not better than other places. The only issue was that it was wing night, so it was packed and there was a long wait. About an hour.
Service is much faster than it used to be but its hit or miss whether niceness from the bartender comes served with it. Great wings, pizza and burgers. Although their website states they accept debit and credit cards Its cash only. 5 star on their wings but they really need 2 bartenders on wing night Wednesday. Sat waiting for 15 minutes to order and friends come in so she took their orders first. A 2 star for that.
Not the first time I have been. Love the salt and vinegar wings, o it of all t he sauce choices I tend to stick with those. Other choices if you arent a wing fan. My 2 friends didnt have wings. Heard from a couple we were talking with that the burgers are fantastic
This place is great. Food and drinks are priced well. Just know that the establishment is cash only and they do have an ATM if you need it. Would give 5 stars if they took card.

Huge selection of various wings, ur sure to find a favorite. Wednesday they have them on special and can purchase six and six of two different types. Dont forget about the popcorn while u wait.

Great place. Really cozy and almosy a homy feel. Good selection of bottled and draft beers. Usually 6 local/craft beers on tap. Wings are AMAZING. Easily best wings in the area. Something like 40 types of wings and every type ive had so far gave been divine.

This is my favorite place for wings in town. Over 50 flavors, always crispy, and cheep beers. Try the garlic parm, boom boom, and bbq wings. If youre there on wing night get there early, seating is limited and tables fill up fast!
They have a “million” flavors of wings and the pizza is solid as well! It’s a good neighborhood bar so stop by and try it!
It is a newly renovated bar with an iinviting atmosphere. My family and I always visit Nips to have a great time listening to bands play and enjoy the food there. Yes the wings are great and so is the pizza and the weekly specials. There is always something going on there at night to liven up your spirits!
The wings are really good. Just dont try to call in for a take out order we were told it would be an hour before theyre ready even if they arent overly busy when you drive past. Just unfortunate for me will be missing out on our weekly wing take out orders.
Excellent local bar. Cash only. $7 for a dozen wings on Wednesday and Sundays. $8.50 any other time with ~30 sauces to choose from. Super friendly place, love it there!
The service is awful, the sole server was absolutely rude to myself and my guests, and she demanded that they provide additional identification besides their state IDs because they are Hispanic. Besides the awful person running the show that night the chicken was pretty good
I was very unhappy with my food I ordered the honey barbecue chicken wings and it had barely any sauce on them and it was room temperature and was like eating rubber this place is gone downhill significantly within the past couple of years I used to like coming to this place and eating the chicken wings but not anymore dont expect to see me anytime soon unless they fix what ever the problem may be

2022-06-24The best wings in Binghamton in a variety of flavors. Also a hidden gem of a tavern. The service here is second to none. It can take a while to get a drink once the bar gets crowded Thursday night is karaoke with Amy who is excellent at energizing the crowd. So if youre looking for a small off the beaten path tavern with excellent food dont miss out on Nips.

2022-03-20My son and I stopped for wings at nips yesterday, after having been reminded about how good they were. Many years ago I lived up the street and use to go there all the time. We sat at a table, waited 45 minutes, no one came over to offer to refresh our drinks, and when we inquired, discovered they had been sitting behind the bar for 15 minutes already. $30 later, for two dozen wings, I opened my box only to discover that they were mild wings when I had ordered nuclear, and they were dry as a bone. I was very disappointed. I can only hope that this is an exception to the rule, because I remember that their wings were delicious from 20 years ago!

2022-04-04Okay place to go when anywhere nicer is too busy. Unreliable as far as far as food goes. I waited almost an hour for a chicken spiedie sandwich which had about $1.50 worth of meat on it. What little there was of it tasted pretty good though. My friend had wings and said they were decent. If it were closer, I would go to the Choconut Inn, they have realistic portions and faster service even when busy. I will say that the bartenders are always pleasant at Nips.

2021-08-10The best wings I ever had. Crispy wings and flavorful all around. I had the opportunity to eat here while visiting family and they recommended this places. A great hole-in-the-wall find. The peanut butter flavor with fluff was new to me and it was delicious! I never heard of wings and peanut butter combo. 5/5

2019-10-04Nips has a great wing night on Wednesday with a dozen wings for $7 this is not just for a basic buffalo chicken wing- you get your choice of so many flavors. I tried the hot wings and the habanero mango wings. My friend tried the garlic parmesan and another had the honey mustard. Everyone was quite happy with their choices. I will try the peanut butter and fluff the next time.It looks like they have remodeled with a much brighter look and high top tables.The woman behind the bar was our server and she did a great job with both.
