Dissatisfied. Arrived at my scheduled time. Oil change and tire rotation. At tops this should have taken 35-40 min. My car wasnt even on a lift until an hour and a half after I arrived!! I was there for 2 hours! Waiting area not conducive to that long a stay (no TV on, no coffee). Why did I make an appointment if the service department cant adhere to it???
Nothing better than an honest dealership! The MSRP is pretty much what you are going to pay. No surprises, no much larger numbers written on a piece of paper and handed to you after they’ve looked up your address on Google maps (yes this happened to me). I worked with Mamadou Diallo and it was a fun experience. He is very honest and straightforward to work with. Thank you Nissan City!
Wish I could leave a 0 Star review. Called to confirm a vehicle was available, I was told at 10:00 AM it was on the lot and ready to be shown. I told the salesperson I would be over in an hour or so and they said no problem. I get there and the dealer manager had just left with the car and had made it his personal demo. Then they tried to add 10% to the sticker price to a now used vehicle and couldnt tell me when the manager would be back or how long he planned to keep it as his Demo... To further make things worse it was the ONLY one of that model they had or were expecting to get in in the next few months. WHY WOULD THE MANAGER CHOOSE THAT ONE?!?!?!? Complete joke of a dealership and a waste of time. Save yourself the hassle and literally buy from any other dealer possible!!!
Amazing. The mechanic who did my car was outstanding.He turned my tires and filled my anti freeze when he really didnt have to.He didnt leave not one little scratch while turning the tires..Most places will scratch the hell out of the rims.Not him.He was outstanding.And very nice as well.So was the whole staff.Its a night and day difference from the newrochelle nissan service dept..They are god awful.But portchester nissan and nissan service dept. Is by far the best.!!!.Will be using them again very soon.Thanku to the whole P. C nissan service dept.
I just had a GREAT experience at Nissan City. I have been an unhappy customer at New Rochelle Nissan, which I had 3 car leases with. I decided to buy out my lease and New Rochelle Nissan wanted $2,400 in fees, not including taxes. Nissan City fees were substantially less. Thank you Anthony Rende for your knowledge and expertise and answering my many questions about the transition from lease to buy out. A special shout out to Andy Rodriguez in the finance department who was very informative about my warranty options. Both employees, and the manager were very professional and a pleasure to work with. I will NEVER go back to New Rochelle Nissan again.Elyse Fowler
Got a scheduled oil change and needed a new key made. The key needed to be programed. After that key was programed my other key for the vehicle didnt start my truck. Called in and was informed that both keys needed to be programed. So I had to go back to dealer to have second key programed. I didnt know of the process. So in the future if it happens to another customer try to let them know. When I came back everything was resolved with no issues. But wished I had been informed.
A few days ago my mother was on the market for a new car. On our journey trying to find the right car at the right price we happened to walk into Nissan City of Port Chester. As soon as we walked into their showroom we were welcomed by Jeremy Perez. He was very energetic and pleasant to deal with. He showed us a few cars and offered us to test drive the vehicles. Prior to test driving one of the vehicles we decided to go over the vehicle purchase price and financing options. We decided to discusses pricing first as we were aware that there is a vehicle shortage bringing their prices up. We discussed different options and they had a great price compared to other places. There were no hidden fees or additional charges. Unfortunately, we couldn’t take the car the same day as it was late Saturday night. My mom went back to pick up the car a few days later and she was extremely happy with the whole transaction. She even got a better interest rate as her credit was above average. I just want to say thank you Jeremy and thank you Ray! You guys rock and thank you for making our experience seamless. We really enjoyed the coffee as well. Cheers! 👊🏼
I visited Nissan of Port Chester, last Saturday, and I dont have enough words to thank Sophie, the sweetest and kindest receptionist who is always welcoming. Working with Selma, the sales associate who was very attentive, a great listener, professional and never pushy. She was very understanding of my needs. And Ray, the general manager who cares a great deal about his customers. When I am ready to transact, I will return to this dealership because I know my best interest is their priority.
10/21/2021Had a great experience at this dealership! They are kind, trustworthy and great to work with. Traveled a little extra distance to come here because they came highly recommended and Im glad I did. I recommend working with the sales manager David Oaks (hes great) and the finance manager Julio (so easy to work with). I usually dread shopping at car dealerships but this was a pleasant experience from beginning to end!
They made my first lease experience very smooth with great customer service. Easy explanations and transparent. Added in extras I didn’t ask for and approached negotiation with respect and care. I went in for a car and left with the one I wanted at the price that worked for me. Highly recommended this dealership for quality sales and exceptional customer service. How refreshing it is to work with a dealership that has INTEGRITY. Talk to Ray, the manager, he is friendly and straightforward. He and his team helped me with a lease buyout. I called every dealer in a 50 mile radius and every one of them was charging improper fees and trying to hustle me... except for Nissan City. Nissan City did not charge me one extra cent. Anthony in sales was very helpful in facilitating the deal and Jason the finance manager made sure all the numbers were correct, he was very thorough and even saved me a few extra dollars. I was so pleased and relieved to be dealing with people that were honest and helpful. Car deals are very stressful at this time but Nissan City made it easy. Highly recommended.
Paul took care of me when I had to go in for maintenance of my car, explained me the process and advised me of what to expect, he was kind, quick and above all efficient. The driver who drove me home was likewise very professional. You have a special team NISSAN CITY.
I was beyond thrilled with my experience at this dealership!!! This was my 5th Rogue since 2012 and I was having issues at my previous dealership which forced me to move on. Walking into this dealership, I was warmly welcomed by ALL staff. Which was a refreshing surprise. My sales guy Mamadou Diallo was FANTASTIC! Listened to what I wanted and on top of all my many request, called to follow up and set appointments, walked me through all the new features from the previous model when I picked up the car and made the entire experience enjoyable after almost leaving Nissan completely after my previous experience. The general sale manager Ray Hungria and Julio the account guy were also amazing and pleasure to work with throughout the process. I absolutely LOVED this dealership and will definitely return for my next Platinum Rogue in 3years!
Omg! I thought it was only me having issues with the new management team and STAFF! I hate to say this but they are so rude and unprofessional you cant even get a nice person on the phone I will never buy a Nissan ever again if I have to deal with these new people I have no confidence in what they are doing. Call today to confirm my oil change after calling and calling to have someone finally answered and they have the audacity of thinking like you brother them . Request a call back from Nick the manager lets see if he call but I doubt it. Anyway I will find another place to go to other than this place been a customer of 14 years they just lost
Always went there for service on my Rogue since the free oil change was included. Very professional and never had a complaint. NOW, apparently, they are under new management, and will not honor the free oil change. Unlikely, I will be going there again, since I can go right near my house or job and pay the same thing.
I had an amazing experience financing my car with Genuine Thomas! I previously leased my 2019 Altima here which I have now financed. Genuine was so helpful throughout the whole process including days before with answering all our questions and addressing our concerns. He fully compared our options in terms of leasing a new car vs financing my current lease and made sure to consider our circumstances. When I purchased my vehicle, one of the perks were free oil changes for the life of vehicle. When I went to have my oil change, I found out new owners took over and they werent continuing the free oil changes.Also I was told I had to get Synthetic Oil. If I would have known ahead of time of the changes, I could have gone for my oil change closer to home. I feel like Nissan should have reached out to their customers (maybe by email, direct mail etc.) to let us know of the changes. Since I and many other customers were not notified, Nissan could have at least let me get my first oil change free.
It all started when I walked in, my experience with Derek was amazing from beginning to end. he listens, he really cares, and he is knowledgeable about the cars. I got to know the guy and he is a true car enthusiast that love cars. he was very professional and friendly. I was referred to him by my employee and the kid at a very young age is 100% better than most dealerships I went to before. I will recommend people to see this amazing young man. However the boss, Rey, needs to control the way he talks to his employees. I am a manager myself, it is very unprofessional to yell, and cuss at your employees in public when you have customers in your showroom. In my experience, it made me feel uncomfortable and full of rage. but at the end of the day I cant deny the fact that Derek and also the finance guy, Julio, made my purchase decision easier. I forgot the name of the desk lady but she was very very friendly as well.
Excellent service!! Came in Misael attended me. He was not pushy but rather informative. Came back the next to pick up my new car!! The warranty offered was great and did I mention free oil changes? Many other perks too. High recommended and ask for Misael. He will not disappoint!
Worst experience Ive had at any dealership. I went in to purchase my current lease and from the 3 times Ive had to visit the location has been a nightmare. I went there to purchase the vehicle and was assisted by the finance manager I waited 45 minutes just for them to tell me their was a recall on the vehicle and they couldnt sell it to me. Cool it took 3 months for nissan to get the recall part in which I had to go to nother dealership Nissan of garden city ( they were great) after it was complete. I walked back into nissan city to purchase the vehicle. After 30 Mins of them filling out paper work they put me to the sales manager and he started reading out all these fees that wasnt on the original paperwork from the previous visit. Instead of him trying to be customer eccentric and treat me with respect, no congratulations on purchasing out your vehicle or any kind of customer service whats so ever. Just adding up fees and services that were non existent before. When asked why it was different I got a call Nissan they were all incompetent as to why the numbers were different. So I left called nissan and clarified everything. So I called back spoke to a sales rep Anthony rende answered to confirm the buyout. He put me on hold came back on the phone and said they couldnt do the purchase at their location and hung up the phone on me. Ill assume there is no commission in someone purchasing out their vehicle and the reason I was treated as such. Trust and believe I will never visit this location ever again. Buyer beware with these clowns that work here.
I understand that Nissan City is now under new ownership and management but they need to do better. I called regarding an oil change and was told that I would receive a call back because he had to help a customer, never received a call. When I did drop my car off, I explained to the employee that I had to run an errand and will return. He never communicated to me that they close at 1. When I returned, I had to wait an additional 20 minutes so they could find my paperwork which they never did. I’ve been a customer for 5 years and I have never received such poor customer service. Everyone is rude including the mechanics. They need to have way more training in order to keep up with the exception all service from the previous years. We need the old staff back ASAP!
My appointment was scheduled for 7:30 AM on October 29, 2021. The service manager did not arrive until approximately 8 AM. Shortly after his arrival, he began yelling at people for herding closely in front of the service desk. One customer opined that there would not have been a crowd at the desk had the service manager been on time. The service manager then began yelling at the customer that “He could not control the traffic.” This service manager’s behavior was, in my opinion, profoundly unprofessional. He needs a seminar on customer service or should be terminated. As a longtime loyal Nissan City customer, I am sorely disappointed and am contemplating taking my business elsewhere.
It all started with a phone call to Dave Oknaian to see if you had a certain model and color in stock. From the moment Dave said you in fact had it to the completion of my lease in literally a day, Dave was there for every step of the process. He is polite, attentive, reliable and hard working... pretty much everything you would want in a sales person. I have never had as easy and straight forward an experience in buying a car as I did with Dave and Nissan City.
So I went to Port Chester Nissan looking for a new car or lease. I went with an open mind yet certain requirements. With kids and living in the Hudson Valley, I need something with plenty safety features, AWD and spacious enough for my kids, groceries, errands yet better on gas than my previous 2012 rouge that I was replacing. Long story short, the customer service was wonderful. The salesman Dave was very helpful, answering all of my questions and taking the time to show me cars that he thought would work for me. He talked me through all the safety features and showed me similar cars in different pricepoints while informing me what I was gaining and losing through each model. Ray Hungria the Sales Manager was great. He dedicated a long time to crunching numbers, and giving me the best deal, bang for my buck and helping me get to a price point and payment that I was happy with. There was no gimmicks, no strange deals that expire at 5:00pm, or pressure. He made me know that he wanted my business and was going to do whatever in his power to get my business without trying to pull slick sales moves. All the associates there were warm, respectful and professional. I walked away with a beautiful 2021 Rouge. I will be a repeat customer, and make sure I tell everyone I know about Port Chester Nissan.
Nissan city had a car that I was interested in seeing. I called the dealership and made an appointment. I made sure that they had the car I was interested in in stock and I told them that that was really the only car I wanted to test drive. I even went so far as to say please do not bait and switch me. I was very sure this was the car I wanted and I was going to have to Drive an hour to see it. I even called an hour before leaving to double check that the car had not sold and they promised me it was there and ready for me to take a test drive. True to their word, when I got there the car was in fact unsold and ready for me to test drive but the price that they advertised was in fact $3000 less than the actual price of the car. We even pulled up their price on the Internet together and they looked at it and said oh I’m sorry that is a typo. The car is in fact $3000 more than we are advertising. What a waste of time. They offered me nothing. They admitted it was a mistake but what could they do. Didn’t even try to find me another car that was close to what I was looking for. Beware of this dealership. As I write this two days later the car I was interested in is still showing on their website and still showing at the erroneous price. Do not trust them!! I took my business to another Nissan dealer and found a very similar car at a very similar price. These people are liars don’t believe the reviews.Please note the response below. We did look at YOUR website not a third party site and you have the same advertised price. Do not blame others.
The dealership was recently sold. I had been servicing my car at Nissan City. The new people managing and working at the service desk were not nice, helpful or knowledgable, to say the least. Very disappointing since the former staff was great. Dont know that I will return.
Working here gives you anxiety and stress the manager don’t believe in his own products and the spin the wheel with customers is a joke all this screaming and jumping up and down loud most customers don’t like it but there feel forced because there being coached. AllWork no lunch then is hard to get a customer because your coworkers are fighting over who’s next. Then your co worker singing songs and joking around and talking about sports.
Thalia was amazing. She is such a beautiful person. She really went above and beyond to help me. She made a stressful situation less stressful and I really appreciate that. She really made me feel like a part of the Nissan family. So glad that I went there for my services. Will definitely go there, again. John was also a wonderful person, too. Thank you for them.
My service (an air bag recall appointment) was done in 40 mins and I was in and out. John was extremely nice and professional and I felt comfortable there. Normally I hate going to any automotive place because the men bother me or they talk to me like I don’t understand what’s going on. John was great. Very happy with the service.
John Brown and Port Chester Nissan City came through for us in an awesome way. My wife and I had an alternator go bad on our Altima on our way from Pennsylvania to Boston, we made it to the Nissan dealership, they diagnosed it and were able to overnight a replacement alternator from Baltimore. They removed the old one on Thursday night and put the new one in once it arrived Friday afternoon. Even fixed a bent compressor pulley mount one they saw that too. They transported us to and from a local hotel to boot and gave us restaurant recommendations. They really helped us out in an unfortunate situation. We highly recommend John and the Nissan City team in Port Chester. They were pleasant and quite helpful. We then drove to Boston, then Maine with no more problems. Great job! Mark Setman
Don offers an excellent service overall and runs a tight ship. I really value his timely communication and honestly in the advice he provides when discussing the best course of action. The mechanic who worked on my car took the time to explain all the moving pieces and work necessary. The Nissan service department is a bit more expensive than alternatives but so far the quality of the parts, work and customer service make it worth it.
Highly recommend!! This is my fourth Nissan lease and I’ll never go to another dealership again. Edgar and Andrew were amazing and easy to work with. They gave me awesome prices from the beginning and there was no back and forth or negotiating. Everyone at this dealership was so kind and helpful throughout the entire process!
I took my 2020 Sentra in for oil change! I was Greeted with a warm smile and friendly hello all before 6:00 AM! I called on Tuesday because I couldnt make my Wednesday appointment, I wanted to reschedule for that Thursday, there were no openings I explained why I couldnt make it I was willing to take the following week Wednesday however the Wonderful staff made it possible for me to bring my car in that Thursday! It was Very Kind and Very Much Appreciated; a simple gesture goes along way! Thank You Nissan Port Chester Service Team!
Due to my availability I was not able to schedule an appointment ahead of time but this was not an issue because the service manager, Don, serviced my car within minutes. I am always impressed with Dons commitment to serve. I always choose Nissan City because of the great service Don and the crew provides.
Nissan City of Port Chester is my preferred service center. They continue to meet my expectations of them. Amongst the Covid-19 pandemic, I appreciated them maintaining and encouraging social distancing. Theyve limited the number of customers at a time. The waiting area is spaced out. They were quick with my service, less than 30mins, so I greatly appreciated that on Christmas Eve. The team is always welcoming. They greeted and addressed me by my name as soon as I walked in the door, which makes me feel like family. Don explained the services that my vehicle was due for. Overall a great experience, and definitely recommend for service on your Nissan.
Went in to get my AC Vents fixed. Everyone is so nice there!!! They remember my name, my dad and dog even! So nice. I love coming here.I personally dont really like the Nissan brand, so thats the ONLY reason why I wouldnt come and get more cars from this dealership. Everyone is amazing there, friendly, helpful, just great. Nothing but nice things to say about the dealership.
I continue to have a great experience with the service department for Nissan City of Port Chester. Don was extremely accommodating on short notice, quickly identified the problem based on his past experience and went over and above to provide what I needed, including ensuring the car was driven for long enough to complete an annual inspection. I could not have been happier with my experience.
The service center in Port Chester has been providing me with excellent car service on my 2012 Nissan Maxima for 5 years now. The entire crew there does an amazing job and I accredit their good work for keeping my car in great shape. John at the front desk provides me with great car maintenance recommendations and he explains any work being done on my car extremely well. He also explains all costs very well. His partner in crime Don is also a very nice guy. The mechanics at this shop are also extremely talented and very hardworking. This service center deserves tons of recognition and I am very happy to have them as my go-to place to get my car serviced with people who I trust!!
Son just bought a Nissan Rough from Jonathan Oz. Great experience at this Nissan. Everything went really smooth, and the manager was kind enough to let us leave my sons trade in vehicle before the transaction was complete. Again, great experience, nice staff, and highly recommend.
My last 2 vehicles were from a Nissan in Yonkers. On my way to get my 3rd lease I decided to stop by Nissan City. I left the same day with my 2021 Nissan Rouge. Selma is awesome. She is was very professional, patient and explained everything I needed to know about my vehicle. I love the fact that I get free oil change for life. I highly recommend the Nissan City team.
Overall the associates are great at the service department in portchester. I felt like Thalita made my appointment and repair smooth as butter and was very informative and descriptive about what is going to happen, whats covered by warranty, made availability for a rental so I wouldnt have to wait in the lobby and she had very good knowledge of car care she handed out after my repair.
My car required an oil change concurrent with two recalls.I was advised the process would take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours allowing for anything else that might need attention.Care was ready in 1.5 hrs and all services complete.I am greeted by name and treatment is professional and friendly.This is my third Nissan with Nissan City of Port Chester and from sales to service the care is impeccable.Have no plans of every changing.
I was able to bring in my car in on short notice. Received diagnostic feedback within the hour thereafter. Warranty issue for rear shocks was honored. A part had to be ordered overnight but was given a ride to and from work on both days. Overall professional and timely follow-up via text and phone. Very friendly service.
I shopped around for a truck online and found Nissan City! i made an appointment and met Dave Oknaian and from there he went beyond the call of duty !! Dave set me up with a 2020 Nissan Frontier and explained all its features and the pricing! he gave me the best trade in deal and answered any questions i had ! i am happy as a pig in poop! you guys rock!
I was previously taking my 2012 Nissan Maxima to the Yorktown Nissan as I lived close at the time. I recently moved and kept going back to Yorktown. They messed up a power steering issue and when I went back it took 2 weeks to fix. I took my car to Nissan City and Don replaced struts and a few other things in 3 days. Customer service was phenomenal (and I work in customer service). Extremely happy I switched.
Outstanding service overall, highly recommended. Thalita was very courteous and provided excellent communication. I had a bumper protector installed on my 2016 Altima and my car was ready in less than 2 hours. The protector looks great as well. And the courtesy rides to/from my home and the Service Dept. were much appreciated. Many thanks!
My Altima hybrid died. I called the service dept. the morning of a federal holiday and they were immediately ready for AAA to drop it off. They were able to give me a diagnosis and estimate by the end of the day. The car was ready and running beautifully the next day. I wouldnt hesitate to go back to them or recommend them.
My appt was taken right away, accommodated my service appt change . I waited less than 1/2 hr for my service to complete. The service manager was friendly and accommodating. He made me feel comfortable and was not pushy with my service needs. I have never had this kind of experience in my car ownership years. For this, i will consider purchasing another Nissan if my present one ever dies. Thank you
This was the smoothest sale I have ever had. This dealership came through with all promises. Very professional and up front with costs. Every member of the sales team was friendly, patient and had customer service as a first priority. Very safe in this covid atmosphere!
Port Chested 225 Boston Post Rd used to be a destination for the regular car service for me. Everything was always fine never had any issues. However, now I understand that the only reason I had no issues with them before is because it was just a regular service. If you face an issue, go somewhere else. The most unprofessional service advisor I have ever dealt with. Super rude and aggressive.Update: to be fair posting an update - spoke to Ozzie VazquezCo-Owner/GM and he called me back later advising that he had a conversation with Don who mistreated me as a customer. He apologized for his employees behavior and offered an assistance if i need it. Thank you. Unfortunately damage that was done by Don is bad enough for me to make a decision not to deal with this service anymore.
This is my third lease with Nissan and I continue to be amazed at how Debbie understands what I like and what I want.The process is easy from start to finish and I leave the dealership happy and content to know I have been treated well with a car I can trust.Service over the years has been terrific. Again, I am treated with knowledge and respect and my car is serviced promptly.
The Nissan City of Port Chester service is the best. The customer service is excellent, Don was extremely helpful, polite and funny, I was really happy that I did not have to leave my vehicle overnight due to my engine light being on and battery going in and out all due to a spark plug. Since I purchase my car back in 2016 I visited many Nissan dealerships and the customer service wasnt that great.At Nissan City, I did not feel uncertain about anything, everything about this site is fantastic and Nissan City knows the value of customers and business. I hope you guys build more locations throughout NY or within the states because there are no other businesses like you with the great employees you hire and the mechanics in the back who are fixing our cars. Thank you for your service and I will return soon before I relocated out of New York.
I dont know where to begin I was tring to find a car and I drove to porcherter from yonkers to see if I can get a deal for a Car and once I walked in I found what I wanted and came out with 2 cars at a great price for both the people at the dealership made me and my wife feel as if we were family the service was amazing both cars took me a few hours to get and drove out with smiles and they are highly recommended for anyones next purchase they work with you to make you happy I have been to alot of nissan dealers and this dealership is the one you need to be in for as long as you can they are truly family great job guys keep up the great work Issac weiner is the man to make it happen and David oaks are the guys u need great team
Debbie was simply fantastic!! Honest and professional. She gave me options to extreme detail and made me feel safe about my decision. I was a nervous wreck and she reassured me. When I got the car she went through every part of it and even gave me tips to make my drives more efficient. Definitely getting my next car with her.
I was really nervous coming in to buy a car - Id had a not great experience at a dealer many years ago. However, my husband and were IMMEDIATELY greeted, sat, and taken care of by Debbie. Through every step of the process, Debbie was wonderful, and really assuaged my anxiety about the purchase. She was fun, engaging, very knowledgeable, and took the time to answer every question we had!
At my age Im probably at my last car and the 350Z is my summer fun and aside from oilchanges annually at Nissan PC your technician got my convertible top working and advised meto put it up and down occasionally, since I only put it down once in spring and back up whenit slept thru the winter. Good advice and much appreciated
I appreciate working with John Brown from the service department. However, I had my transmission replaced 2 years ago. And other replacement done because my check engine light kept coming on. I stopped by again to see what the problem was and I was informed I might have to replace my transmission again. The code that came on was a transmission code. I just paid an arm and leg to have my transmission replace less than 2 years ago. I like working with John Brown. He treats me with decorum; however, I am beginning to dislike Nissan as a car. FYI car has 145,000 miles on it as of today
I am always impressed with the level of service I receive at Nissan City. Everyone in the place is friendly and knowledgeable. I never feel like I am being taken advantage of, which is how I have always felt at other service centers. Next time I am in the market for a new car I will absolutely consider buying a Nissan with you, with the biggest reason being the service department at Nissan City.
Service Advisors are always professional & courteous. On this visit Thalita took care of the issue very quickly; keeping me updated on the status of the repair. I visited Nissan last Saturday I was greeted by a gentleman ask him if I could see cars he said sure go a head. Than he said I can get a sales person. I was like mmm. He said I have a women sales person. I said ok. Very friendly told her what my budget was she show me the cars. I just left the dealer with a Nissan ultima. Due to a scheduling mixup, my visit was not on the schedule by they took my vehicle in anyway and completed the routine maintenance along with a tire leak repair and a loose baffle issue in the rear end of the vehicle within the timeframe I was provided at vehicle check-in time.
Selma was wonderful. I mention what I was looking for and I did not have the time to sit with her due to my work schedule. Since this is the 4th car I got there. I asked her to email me the information. She was prompt and very efficient and by Monday I drove out with my new murano. Nissan service department is terrific and efficient.
Debbie is the best saleswoman at Nissan City of Portchester. She takes her time, she is honest, and an absolute pleasure to do business with. I am approaching the last couple of months until my lease is up, and Debbie already made it her point to call me over a month and a half ago to see if and what I am interested in. Bottom line Debbie will not let you down. She will go above and beyond to get you the best deal possible. I purchased a 2011 Toyota RAV4 from Nissan City and I had a very smooth and stress free experience. I was in an unfortunate situation where I was in an accident that totaled my car and I was looking to purchase essentially the same one. While shopping around at other dealerships the car salesmen would try and sway me to other makes and models and werent listening to my needs. When I saw the listing for the car I wanted- the older model RAV at Nissan City I immediately inquired and was met with a friendly rep named Shawn. When I came in to test drive the car I had a pleasant experience- no pushing or trying to talk me down or around from what I was looking to get. Shawn was able to work within my budget and got me the car I came to look at. He was very accommodating and was able to answer all my questions and wasnt just trying to make a quick sale. I drove away appreciating the service I got and felt confident in my purchase. I called to make an appointment to bring my Sentra in and the first spot available was May 30. I spoke to Don and he accommodated my request to bring the car the same day I called without waiting until May 30. They are an amazing team there at Port Chester! I was tempted to say met my expectations, because I have come to the realization that they are always excellent! I have never in the 40+ years of dealing with service departments that has ever come close to their level of professionalism, friendliness, honesty and integrity. Top notch in every way.
I almost purchased a vehicle at another dealership until they saddled me with hidden fees totaling several grand. I found an almost identical car at Nissan city, and drove down from CT. Despite it being close to closing, They welcomed me, took me for a test drive, and when I asked what all their hidden fees were, there were none. All they had were taxes/plates and a $75 doc fee. I needed to pick the car up on a Sunday, so I signed papers Saturday, got a ride back Sunday, and my salesman was outside waiting for me (on his day off no less) to hand me the keys and get me on the road. An honest, easy transaction. For the price of what I would have paid at the other dealer with all of their fees, I got the identical car with 1000 less miles, with a full warranty.
I read the reviews (Pretty sure some are fake, but others were legit, so it was good enough for me) and so I decided to go here to get my car serviced.When I came into the office, I saw the front desk lady talking (Thalita), so in my head, from past experiences, Im saying to myself Here we go again, with me having to wait until her side conversation is done. However, as soon as I came in she greeted me and tendered to me.She was very friendly and informative and didnt try to squeeze extra money out of me, as others have noted about this business. I then sat in the back, drank coffee and waited for my car. About an hour later, my car was ready. It came out the same way it came in (Ive read stories of mysterious dents appearing after servicing at other dealers).Ill definitely continue doing business here and if I could return my car and purchase it here instead, I would. Ill definitely be buying my Platinum Maxima from here, when Im ready to buy it.Id definitely recommend this place. Ill happily give them my hard earned money. At least they respect the customer (and their hard earned money).

Nissan service department went above and beyond as usual when it comes to servicing my car. The manager was even nice enough to pick me up at the train station after work and bring me to the service station. John Brown was also very nice and spent time to explain the work that was done. It wasn’t a happy three years of spotty service, damage that they wouldn’t fess up to, and a negotiating experience that is described in third world countries. So I recently purchased a vehicle from Nissian City and there were some issues with the vehicle. The transaction didnt go as smoothly as I anticipated. There were some issues with the vehicle and some repairs needed to be made so they covered half the bill and I covered the other half. I am happy the Owner followed up and made sure everything was ok. I just wished the staff was a bit more trained on how to resolve issues. Thank you.

I told him what I “wanted” on the appraisal of my trade in. He came back and told me well your cars not worth that much. I told him wel that’s not what I wanted. I want this amount. He stated that amount was ridiculous and that “in life we never get what we want”. As soon as he said that I got up. In this business you never want to be rude because there are so many other dealerships in the area that will give us what we want.I purchased my 2017.5 Nissan Rogue from Different dealer with no hassle. I loved it here the VERY first time I went. Everyone was very friendly and the atmosphere was very nice. I even purchased the Auto Armor to go with my car just in case there was any food or drink spillage in my car.(They get the stains out for you, if not they replace the upholstery.) Needless to say I was ecstatic to be buying my first vehicle. Well that didnt last long. When the time came for me to file a claim with the Auto Armor people they had absolutely NO RECORD of me in their system. When I called Nissan City I informed the receptionist of my problem. Not only was she not helpful, she was a complete ignoramus. I asked to receive a copy of my contract with them and she insisted there was no way she could help me and I would have to wait for a manager or the salesman who sold me the car. So I asked her if I could speak to either of them which of course the answer was no because neither were there. She then transferred me over to the finance department because she could no longer deal with me asking so many questions. After speaking with the finance guy for a record breaking two mins he managed to argue and raise his voice at me in that short amount of time. Needless to say THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, UNORGANIZED, CHEATS, AND EXTREMELY UNHELPFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We drove up here from the middle of Long Island (which has more than 10 Nissan dealerships of its own) because they were the only ones who had the new longer-distance Leaf. Was probably the nicest experience Ive ever had at a car dealership, and certainly nicer than the delaerships on LI Ive dealt with for my other Nissans. I expect Ill come here for my next car even if they arent the only ones who have the model we want!
I cannot believe this dealer got such good reviews from customers after the way I was treated. I purchased a truck from the dealer and during the initial sale period they would get back to me in matter of minutes. However after I signed the papers and drove out I found the vehicle was unsafe to drive as it would pull to the right, vibrates when driving over certain mile, the check engine light came on driving it for the first 80 miles and when I apply brakes it pulls hard to the left. After I reached home the first day I sent a detailed email to the sales rep explaining how unsafe the vehicle was. It took two days to reply and the exact reply I got was, “ the manager says you purchased the vehicle as is.” Now I just spent approximately $23,000 and they did not service the vehicle for road ready use. I keep calling and emailing with my concerns and they did not reply. I feel that they are a rip off and only wanted my money because after the purchase I had to do a full service on the vehicle that showed that it was not serviced. If I could have given them a star lower then one they would have gotten it. They are a bunch of rip off and would never recommend this company.

He made my first time buyer experience super comfortable and easy. I have purchased a few Pre-Owned vehicles in my lifetime and there is always some type of issue a few years back i helped my son purchase a pre-owned honda from Port Chester Nissan and credit must be given where credit is due , my son just purchased another vehicle on his own so i decided to stay with the Honda we purchased at Nissan , 184000 miles plus and still runs as the day it was purchased , never any major issues and even better is knowing we got a fair deal at time of purchase needless to say on KBB vehicle still worth over 60 percent of the purchased price and that is a lot considering the amount of milage we have put on it, my wife leases from Ford but i will strongly suggest to her we get her new car lease from Nissan considering the great deal we had on a pre-owned car.

The dealership seems like it has really declined. It seems as if the management doesnt care about the customers. It seems like they are overcharging. In my opinion all of the great staff have left this sinking ship. I would be surprised if the dealership is around in the future.
The first review with a lot of dissatisfaction. Highly recommends the better dealer. A painful experience for last 2 month, brought a 2014 Rouge as a Certified car in October. Service team checklist & technical evaluation for the certified car just a document nothing with actual. Within a month car was towed due to battery failure and this month sensor failure occurred with lot noise inside the car. Family with this car would be a huge risk, unable to predict upcoming failure and overpaid and dissatisfied with this purchase. Appreciated the Service team quick response but its only a temporary fix, facing lot of issue with post services. Services are unable to rate and recommend for any one.

I was walking around the lot at Port Chester Nissan I had driven up from New York City to look at one car that I had seen on their website. I get very turned off from sales associates who follow me around trying to push me into a sale. Laura came over introduce herself she was so pleasant and professional. Im not the kind of person to ever complain or write reviews. I also come from an auto repair background. My Father has worked in the auto repair business for 40 years.My experience at this dealership was nothing but horrible. I recently went to purchase a new pickup truck and thought that this would be an easy process. I have excellent credit and live close to the dealership. This was also my first truck purchase. So, Im new at the whole process. I decided to use a Credit Union to finance the loan for the this truck. I did this because I have friends that work at the Credit Union and I wanted to give them the business. They also gave me a great rate. This turned out to one step in a ton of problems. Getting the paperwork done turned into a non-stop back and forth mess. It was non-stop with phone calls and emails. My Wife bought a brand new car at Curry Chevy a few years back and had no problems getting the loan secured. It was with the same Credit Union and the same people. Once all the paperwork had been done here comes the next set of problems. The truck that I wanted to buy came from another dealership which is fine. My Wifes new car also arrived from another dealership. So, here comes the best part of my experience. I went to pickup the truck and finish the purchase. I also had a check to pay for it. Upon arrival I noticed that the trucks front bumper was a different color then the rest of the truck. This trucks bumper obviously had been damaged at some point. The bumpers color was two shades different. Upon closer inspection you could tell that this bumper had been repainted. It had rubbing compound on it, some overspray and was a few inches off from front head lights. This is considered acceptable at this dealership. The dealership could care less and just wanted to argue with you. They just insisted that this truck was new and nothing else was wrong. I was told by the manager that this is what happens when you get a truck sent from another dealership its beyond our control. Is it too much to ask that you inspect what you sell? Another great line was who cares you got a new bumper didnt you?. Yea, I got a new bumper alright and who ever painted it didnt care to see that they painted it wrong. If this was pre-owned truck that would be one thing. To sell me a brand new truck that had been damaged is a lousy way to do business. Had they taken something off the price, tried to work something out or even cared maybe we could have worked something out. It was like talking to a wall. If my Fathers body shop painted a car like this then the customer would have came back and wanted it re-painted. I cant say enough of how much aggravation and a waste of time this place is. I guess they dont care if a $32,000 sale goes out the door. Im taking my money and business some where else. It doesnt take much to have at least decent customer service. The Credit Union is also happy to not have to bother with this place.

Hi,I went there to fix my heating system. They toll me its already fixed .right now I have same problem no heat .The beginning heat was coming for few seconds after that cold air is coming. I spoke to somebody regarding this issue they toll you have to wait for it.I was waiting for 2 weeks after that . yesterday was to cold i turn on the heat samething i was freezing inside the car.i am completely is not satisfied.

He was too busy and greet and approach was the worst experience! If he doesnt care about customers why does he even work their? And Right off the back said I was denied being Stereotype! I bought a 2012 Nissan Rogue at Nissan city a couple years back. The car is great and when my fiancé and I needed another car we thought we knew just the place and car to go to. We bought another certified pre owned rogue (2016 with 23,000 miles on it) from Nissan city about a month ago. Big mistake. The car sounded great on the test drive but when we bought it and drove it home a few days later the engine was making all sorts of noises. Took it to the service department and low and behold it instantly needed a new transmission... once that was fixed we noticed the car shook to the point where drinks will spill out of the cup holder... it feels like driving a tractor. Again we take the car to the Nissan service department and are told that “some Nissans just do that”. Our friend leased the same 2016 model rogue and it’s drives great with no shaking (or new transmission needed). The service department swaped our some tubing/pipe in the engine which did nothing to fix the shaking. The service department told us there was nothing else they could do... Now we’re stuck with this shaking tractor that both of us hate to drive. I couldn’t be more upset that we came back and bought a second car from Nissan City. I will definitely not be buying a third and will no longer buy Nissans in the future.

I leased my Sentra from Nissan City. The lease is up soon. Its my intention to lease another car from Nissan City because of the fairness of the original lease and the great customer service I experience when I bring the car in for oil changes, and other required maintenance.
Went to this location after being robbed for 3 years on a leased Altima by Teddy Nissan. Went back to Teddy Nissan to refinance my car after the lease was up, since at the time I couldn’t afford to get a new car, only to be lied to straight to my face that I wasn’t “eligible for a finance on my leased Altima” but surprisingly was eligible for a NEW leased Sentra 🤔. And according to the finance guy, Nissan was NOT going to deal with me financing the car, since I had been late on several payments. I was NOT gonna go from a Altima to a Sentra, and I didn’t care if it was brand new off the assembly line with “0” miles on it. BTW...I ONLY went to Teddy Nissan to refinance (since this was my first lease) I was under the impression that I HAD to refinance my car at the same dealership that I originally got my leased car from. You know how the saying goes “You never stop learning”. Anyway...I phone’s Nissan city 2 weeks after my last visit to Teddy Nissan and spoke to Shawn Hutton, and he seemed to really want to help me, so I made an appointment that same day, and when I went there, nothing short of the best help and effort to help me in my situation. This is when I realized I had been lied to by the folks over at Teddy Nissan, in which I wasn’t surprised. After waiting a little while for processing, I was floored when I was told NISSAN was going to going to still deal with me. The only thing I didn’t agree with was the warranty I had to put on my car at the time of financing it, but I DID have a lot of miles on my car, for a 36 month lease. Long story short.....if you want to get a Nissan....I suggest you go to Nissan City....if you want to be lied to, then go ANYWHERE else, and YES....that includes New Rochelle Nissan as well.
This dealership is the shadiest dealership I have ever had to work with. I used to work for nissan before and from my experience this dealership is pretty bad, I was doing the deal over the phone because i am in the military and they are roughly 300 miles away from my location, they made me put a $1000 deposit just for them to try and get an approval from the banks and only gave me 72 hours to make a decision or they keep my deposit. after i gave them my deposit then i gave them my info and my wifes info to run our credit to see what kind of APR we can get approved for. But since I bank with USAA I also tried to get a pre-approval with them. towards the end they counter offered a lower rate from nmac to beat the APR i got from USAA, so I told my salesman Jonathan on tuesday that i would go with their financing instead since it is lower. I told them from the very beginning that my wife is due in 2-3 weeks and that I would have to use a power of attorney since my wife is not allowed to travel anymore. They told me that I would either have to take my wife on a 5 hour drive to their dealership or just take my wife of the deal, I told them that taking my wife off the deal is not an option because she needs to be on the registration of the vehicle in case i get deployed(which I am in 3 months) so she have rights to do what needs to be done while I am away. They came up with a solution to overnight a contract and have it notarized so she can still be on the registration, but they waited 2 DAYS!!! before they sent out the paperwork and now it didnt make it to me on time to get it notarized. and now my plan on picking up the vehicle on sunday is out the window. the options they gave me was 1. refund the deposit 2. take her off the loan so i can still pick up the vehicle on sunday 3. reschedule a different pick up date. the problem with all these options is all of them doesnt help me with my situation at all. I gave them a commitment by giving me and my wifes information to run our credit and a $1000 deposit. so I came up with another solution, I told them that I would sign the contract thought them under just me as a back up financing but i would give them a check through USAA for the loan and they said no because they would have to wait 3 days for the USAA check to clear. Basically this dealership was the worst experienced I have ever had and this is coming from someone that used to sell nissan for a living.
I had the best experience at Nissan City! I highly recommend Misael, he was able to help me find a vehicle for my family, he was very efficient and I highly recommend him if you are in need of a new vehicle, great deal and if your looking for someone who is truly trying to help you find something that meets your needs and expectations.

2022-01-10My daughter purchased her first car from this dealership in December 2021. Jeremy assisted her with the purchase. Jeremy was very knowledgeable and patient with all our questions. We were doing a trade in and he was also super helpful and gave us a fair deal on the trade in. I highly recommend this dealership and Jeremy. The service is excellent and the people are knowledgeable and trustworthy. I had a great experience and my daughter loves her new Nissan.

2022-06-15I just had my first visit to the service department of Nissan City of Port Chester and the experience was fully positive. I cant imagine better customer service and professionalism. They were efficient, attentive, and genuinely friendly. There was no pressure behind their suggestions and they were extremely accommodating. Esdras was especially helpful and a great person to interact with. This is exactly how a business should be run. Look no further: this is the auto service center to go to in Port Chester.

2022-01-30For more than 6 years, Ive been a loyal customer of Nissan City dealership and service department.Not just we missed Thalita, Don or Jhon, but we also missed the great atmosphere I felt when I took my car for service.Its nothing against the new crew, which treat me well. Its against a greedy new owner that broke all the terms that the dealership honored when I had the car.Before, it took about 25 minutes to change the oil on my car. This time took about 1 hour and 15 minutes to get my car ready.From now on, Ill rather recommend and go to a Express change oil place, which theyll charge about the same and for less time.Shame on the new owner.

2022-04-21Don’t make any deals there. At first they are very nice, but they will make you leave some money to secure the deal, but they will give you a hard time to give your money back if you don’t make the deal. We’ve been there 4 times, almost twos weeks later and they still won’t give the money, and treat people with arrogance, and talk like they are doing a favor to give the money back!!!
