STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! Unprofessional, demeaning and downright rude. Manager was angry we couldn’t stay longer. Demanded we do a credit check then never ran it. Refused to give me my paperwork with personal info including social security number. Refused to give us a price unless we committed to buying the car that day. I have never been treated so badly at a car dealer in my life. The manager is extremely unprofessional and nasty.
This place treats customers horribly. We came here to get more information and a price range with about 30-40 minutes of our time. The manager came over and demanded that we give them our information and refused to give us a base price. He demanded we stay longer than we had intended to, acted rude and acted so disrespectful that we had to walk out. Making your customers feel uncomfortable is not a very good way to sell cars…
Very discriminating and rude and unprofessional! Not sure how they are still in business with all the negative reviews but they have been reported to BBB however i am not surprised at all to see that they got discredited because of the endless complaints 😂 the horrifying things that the sales manager and finance manager said to me has been recorded and my lawyer has been contacted. Run away from this place get your car somewhere else! Buyers beware. Oh and that lady who keep commenting saying please call to resolve dont do nothing the problem still there and the rotten apples still working wish i could give negative ——922738833737 stars 😂
Worst dealership you could ever go to. Henry is a terrible sales person. I have called multiple times in the past 3 weeks since my visit to get my refund for them to run my application. I got a call and gave them my card info and got told i would get a receipt sent over to me and never did, now i look on my statement after 3 weeks and the charge is still there. First off i never heard of giving a dealership money to run your application or credit. I sat in the dealership for 6 hours to not even get a decision or a phone call after that about the decision. I told Henry multiple times i had toLeave for work and he refused to get me my keys back so i could leave. Sat there from 11am-7pm . BUYERS BEWARE AND DONT go to this dealership
I want to say I had a great experience purchasing my Nissan Sentra and the employees there are very knowledgeable and very kind. They work hard to make sure you get into a car that you can afford. I would definitely recommend totake your family or friends there to look for a great quality of a car.
Spend your time and money somewhere else. Went in for a simple lease buyout (that was difficult in itself) that was not so simple. After continually calling and voicing concern of a possible error as I dont see anything reflected on NMAC site for payment, Im told to just wait. They finally call and ask me to come into the dealership when I do I make the owed payment and again Im assure anything is fine. NMAC is not reflecting a payment (overdue 2 payments) so I continue to try and contact them and no answer no call back from respective departments. I dont like being negative (first ever negative review) but please go somewhere with professionals.
1-their sales representatives too agressive i especially explaoned while begon the conversation but still they wasted my four hours for traping me2-thats why i biught my Nissan from another dealer and now their service departments trying anything to avoid replacement parts while under warranty. Like scammer they are trying Any way.
STOP!! Dont go to Bay Shore Nissan they have to run your credit & leave a deposit of $100 or more. It took me 1 month to get back my refund ,On the car before they can give me a quote and they kept me all day waiting unnecessarily, Ive been to Honda,Acura and GMC and no one had to run my credit just to give me a quote, my advice go to South Shore Nissan see Kevin Beer & David you will be treated like a person and you will get what your really want .. South Shore Nissan is the best
I have tried to get a car at Nissan of bayshore on a lease, watch out because they do not talk about taxes or dmv fees. They charge you an extra $3,500 while in finance, not what you make the deal at. Not only that but they take your car keys and or license to try to force you to buy a car from them. Don’t let them fool you with high monthly prices THEY JUST WANT MONEY!!!! Always know the sticker price so they don’t charge you an extra $6,000-$10,000 over msrp like they tried with me.
The auto mechanic was so accommodating he took a lot of time to explain to me what will be done to my car and understood and was able to duplicate the problem that I had with it I heard like a clinking noise his name was Ryan or Brian but he really was such a great person to deal with!
They obviously dont Care the customers. When they replaced my peeled off seat , they replace with defeated seat and they dont take Any step to fix it more than 2 months. No answers the phone no call back messages or emails. And also sales assitant too aggressive they waste your time at least 3 hours.
It’s January 2022 and there’s staff milling about not wearing masks. Customers are also maskless despite the NY order. No one is enforcing masks. There’s nowhere else to sit but surrounded by unmasked people while my car is being worked on. Some of us are high risk for severe infection but need these essential services. I’m furious. Edited to Update: An unmasked customer came up to me without a mask and asked me where there was a charging port. I don’t work here? This place is ridiculous. Man at the front desk processing appointments and paperwork was courteous and so sweet, though. Truly. He is amazing should get a raise.
You must go there and see Sales Consultant Jesse Seymour. Jesse treated us with top notch service and professionalism. They have a huge selection of vehicles. I think they may have the largest inventory of any dealership Ive visited. The finance department have won awards. Go to Nissan of Bay Shore, dont waste your time going anywhere else and ask for Jesse for superb treatment.
Liars! They tell you they have a certain car in stock on the phone..they “checked” twice actually…drive 50 minutes there. Confirm again that they have it and it’s in their lot about 10 minutes away..take our info…wait about 45 minutes for them to bring it over..for it to be THE WRONG ONE! Oh, but we have this one for you..NO! NO! There’s a reason why I showed up out of my way since you claimed the car was IN STOCK! Never again. Went down the street to MAZDA and was treated much better!!
Went there looking for prices on a certain trim, staff would only offer me a lower trim, trying to talk to me out of a higher trim because they didnt have one on lot. After a few offers that still saw it 10k above sticker - requested to leave ( they take your keys to assess you car) they kept me there for an additional 45 minutes - saying let me offer one more deal. Finally i go to the managers desk advise that I have been asking for my keys for 30 minutes. The Manager tireek advises me 2 more minutes - I again state i needed to get my child, please give me my keys, I am being held here at this point. The Manager advises you are detaining YOURSELF here by not allowing me to review your paperwork, I am the Manager, dont tell me what to do in my own store. I have to start yelling at this point, and point out he is holding my property, I owe you nothing, i came to get prices on a car, and they are offering me a car I Dont Even Want. After 40 minutes of asking i finally get my keys, Manager says Have fun paying more elsewhere. Power trip beta type comments to someone there to check if I want to dedicate the next 36-48 months on a product, and spend hardworking money on. After all that they call me 5 minutes later and offer me the SV and they refused to discard my personal information. #nissan you let these people carry your name. Ive never been treated like this at a dealership. Very disrespectful.
Buyer be ware of this dealership. They are not true to their word. After hours of negotiating a price and the salesperson was insisting that he buys my car and for me to drive away in a new car. We agree on a price and then I wait a few more hours before going to the financial dept. to sign paperwork and heres where you have to check everything. The deal got changed on me. You dont know this until you get your first payment coupon in the mail. Then when I went to discuss the situation with the salesperson, he did not want to discuss this pricing with me I had to talk to the manager. Who was rude an obnoxious to the point of yelling at my husband and cursing. I will never go back, and I suggest you never do!
I took my car to Nissan of Bayshore for a pre-paid oil change and inspection. I went there instead of Huntington (Where I purchased the car) because I found the service associates to be rude and disrespectful. Thank you Nissan of Bayshore for your professionalism, great customer service and good work! In particular Jamie (Hope I remembered name correctly). I will return.
Never in my life I felt disrespected an humiliated by a dealership like this, the sales and finance managers were being condescending, sarcastic an very disrespectful. I will make it my mission to see places like this go out of business. Not only that but he trashes me and my wife finances then have the nerve to ask why we declining offer and when we asked for a deposit refund he said I dont want to sell you the car either and that we wasted their time but they wouldnt start the process without collecting down payment then they harass you when you decline an outrageous offer and wont let you leave the store or Give a refund till you threatened to call the cops. People like these give good company a bad name will never go near that place again all the bad reviews are true horrific experience
Got into an accident a few days ago, really need a reliable used vehicle.. stopped in at Nissan of Bayshore, Salesperson Henry Gerdik greeted me with open arms… I felt very welcome! we had a conversation, I advised him what my budget was, he worked his magic and got me into a NEW 2022 Maxima at the monthly payment that I wanted the Used car to be.. smooth, quick process.. will definitely be back and will definitely refer people to Henry.
Not a fan at all. I went in due to letters being sent to my house regarding buying my car and give me 20% MORE THAN THE VALUE. Which was great, the left over $ was going to be put down on whatever vehicle I wanted.Theyre 100% NOT TRUE to their word, they pushed me into signing papers to start the process and said that if it did not go the way I wanted I would be refunded, Ive been trying to get in touch with the sales person and he keeps giving me the run around of me returning to the dealership and then telling me to call him. I get they want their sales BUT they should not be saying and offering things when thats NOT at all what they do here. I went in September, its December, no refund, no follow-up call, no courtesy call for anything.Very disappointed and discouraged, finance was extremely rude. He copped an attitude when I told him the amount I was NOT willing to put down on a lease they ended up pulling in the manager I guess so the other guy can cool off. While I understand they want customers with perfect credit scores, they should not treat others like different when they dont have A+ score.
Absolutely miserable experience and Michelle in financing is pretty awful. She had an attitude when explaining things, took forever with everything, got yelled and cursed at by another employee there, and lied to me. Took paperwork away from me that I signed with one fee and made me sign another piece with a higher fee. Had to pay these fees to buy out my car and she told me I could pay it off with a credit card and now that Im financing they said I cant pay it off with a credit card. Now Im calling her with questions and she doesnt return calls. Didnt want to go back after I had a oil change there but you have to go to a dealership to buy out your car. Wont ever go back here.
Stay away from this car dealership. Salesman and management are the worst. They run my wife credit score without are consent, we just want to know how much a car payment will be. After 3 hours they call us to sign the paperwork and try to force us to buy a car. After we decline to buy a car, they lied about my wife credit score. After this horrible experience, we received yesterday a letter from Nissan saying the my wife application was denied when we NEVER agree to buy that car. I went to a different Nissan dealer in Amytiville and I got my car with them without no problem. Excelente customer service.
Everyone was either standing around staring or giving me the run around with pricing and information. I have never received such poor customer service in my life. And trust me I wish I was being dramatic. The only person that halfway listened to me was the general manager. That was after I was not being allowed to leave after declining their offers.
DO NOT GO HERETHEY ARE LIARS SCAMMERS IRRESPONSIBLE AND UNRESPONSIVE !From having the worst car buying experience to have my car keys held hostage by Ivan and not receiving my plate ( understandable ) but having an impossible mission on getting a temporary plate expiration date extension is a NIGHTMARE !!!!!
UPDATE- May 4, 2022This is my second car that I am leasing through Nissan of Bay Shore. The first time I went it was a great experience this time was even better! Ivan was my sales representative and I cant say one negative comment about him! He went above and beyond to work with me, he was supportive, kind, and just made me feel like a priority. I left happy and with a new lease! I definitely will be coming back with my husband for a truck and look forward to working with Ivan again. I also have to compliment Winston in finance- he was so sweet and talkative. All and all it was a perfect experience!Need a new car?! You better come here! This place is BOMB.com. If you want a clean, stress free, and enjoyable experience- come here! Richard was incredible- we took 3 cars for a test drives and it was nothing but fantastic! The entire process was smooth and quick considering buying a car process. This customer is leaving with a new 2021 Rogue SL and my family will 100% be coming here! They made sure I was happy and work with you. Thanks for an amazing and stress free process! #HAPPYCUSTOMER
Jeff has taken care of my cars for over 12 years. I do not trust anyone else. He is the best and very honest. I leave there knowing my car is safe even having over 190,000 miles on my car. Anthony, my service rep is awesome and nice. I am a senior citizen and easily swayed to do work I do not need. That is not the case here. Thank you to all.
Went in just window shopping for cars. Zephyr was very helpful and amazing! He was very helpful and really tried to work with us to get a deal that we like. We were not able to find a good car that I wanted but will be visiting again to try to make it work with new inventory.
This is by far the worst dealership I have ever been in! I went in to buy a Jeep I had seen on line, took it for a test drive and everything was great. When they were doing the financing they wouldn’t tell me how much was getting put through and when it was approved they told me the Jeep was no good and I should pick out something else and everything the showed me was way more money. I think is was a total scam! I asked for a refund on my deposit and all I got was a hard time with everyone they sent over to me. The refund was only processed after I started yelling. It been over 2 weeks and still no refund. I called 4 times and only been getting the runaround. Waiting for a manager to call me back now and they really don’t want me to come back down there again! Stay Away! If I could leave a -3 stars I would.
Was there from 1030am til 2pm. They forgot about my car! So unprofessional. Will never return. I called to speak to a manager and left a v.m, never rcvd a call back. Their words dont mean a thing. When I bought the car I was promised free oil changes for THE LIFE of the car well THAT WAS A LIE! never buying a Nissan ever again!
Brand new Pathfinder 2022, its camera was broken after only 1 month of driving!!!! The service to replace it was incompetent and still waiting after 1 additional month for the maintenance to fix it after they ordered a wrong one and I have to wait 5 hours with no results!!!!
The dealership was amazing. The team they have there were able to accommodate everything we needed in our new car we were able to take home. The salesmen we had was Marcus and he knew everything about the car, any question I had about it he was able to answer. Me and my family were able to get in and out, the process went smooth thanks to Michelle who was our Finance Manager and the sales manager got us to where we wanted with the final price of the car without any push back. Overall I definitely recommend going here and take the drive there was extremely worth it. Thank you Nissan of Bay Shore for an excellent experience.
My daughter spent 7 hours over 3 days here trying to get a deal. She told them what she wanted to spend. They said they couldnt do it and she left. They called her back and said we can come closer to your numbers. I gave her more money toward a monthly payment and more money down. They still said they couldnt do it..actually quoted her a higher price than the day before, so we left. Minutes later they called and said we will honor your deal. She came back a day and a half later because she had to work the next day. She was told the car was there, washed and ready for her. She emptied out her own car.. another hour and half there and they wouldnt honor the verbal deal and wanted more money. I thought only used car salesmen had the reputation of being dishonest. Ive had Infinitis for 22 years, and a Nissan before that. But this experience has made me rethink my whole relationship with this company.
Finance Manager Anton, very deceptive.Found two items already on the bill that we questioned him about - service contract for $1095 & total protection pkg for $449.98. I told him we did not want the items totaling $1544 & he did admit they were optional but would take ab an hour to redo the paperwork. We were already there over 3 hrs & so decided to take the car and return the next day to have the charges removed.I returned the next day and Anton told me that he would put the paperwork through and I would see the money applied to my financing. It would come off the principal of my loan. That was two months ago and calls to the bank financing the vehicle say they have not heard from the dealership. I have called Anton numerous times and he keeps avoiding my call or puts someone else on for me to talk to.Finally spoke to him yesterday and he assured me the paperwork is in and I will receive my refund. From the beginning I told him that I did not want this extra protection that would cost $1544.Would not recommend this dealership and will never do business with them again.Beware of fast talk and wearing you down to accept things you don’t want.
I never give a 5 star before but The service from Malav Parikh was the best ! I went in to buy a used Maxima and I was got every information form him. He never make me feel stressful and he answered every question I asked. He served a nice complimentary assortment of bagels. I feel like I got the best deal, if I need another Nissan I probably stop by again.
Wonderful staff! Very easy and convenient for me from the start. The receptionist that booked my appointment was sweet and helpful. As well as in person while closing out. Two different girls, both very helpful and sweet. The service department was on point when I pulled in and when I left. All very polite and informative. My service writer, Marcos is fantastic. He went over everything with me, explaining in detail the necessary services and repairs. It was a pleasant experience overall.
After purchasing a 2016 Maxima about a year ago from Nissan of Bay Shore, I just purchased my second car from them. All I can say is the service was impeccable. My salesman Quinton would not give up on finding me the right car in spite of me being extremely picky when it comes to buying a car.Well, he came through with flying colors. I purchased a Nissan Sentra and I must say, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. I don’t need the power and high performance of the Maxima all the time so I thought having the Sentra for a second car would be more economical, considering it’s a four cylinder. It’s just like the Maxima only a little smaller and not the same high performance. But sometimes I forget which car I’m driving because the interior is so similar, and the great suspension system is almost identical. And at an average MPG of 34-38 I’m delighted. My girlfriend Trish just purchased a Nissan Rouge from Quinton as well and she could not be happier. If you are in the market for a great car, go to Nissan of Bay Shore and see Quinton Jackson. Tell him Jeff Hopkins sent you!
My mother purchased a car from the dealership the same day I had. I sat with her for 4 hours assisting her speaking with the sale reps because her English isn’t too good so she needed help with understanding. Once the down payment was settled at 4,200 and the monthly was settled at 470, I left my mother with my car as everything was done. Only to discover that after transferring plates, belonging and other information to the new car my mother was told that she had to put another 2,000 dollars down for taxes or the monthly would increase which we were told by our sales rep was worked into the price of the car. Being that my mother doesn’t understand English and was being aggressive told to sign by the sale manager she signed and figured she speak to me when she gets home. From research this is a clear “bait and switch” tactic and just wanted to leave a review for other customers prior to taking legal actions.
Walked in pre qualified for more than enough. My credit was ran 4 times without my knowledge leaving my credit score way lower than it was when I walked in. Sales person was gr8 but right after the purchase I called to follow up and a few thing and no one would answer the phone or I was transferred to people that wasnt there.
Excellent, Marco was a great service advisor, I drive my car in at 2:45 on a Saturday without an appointment and the problem was taken care of by 4:00. I also did not purchase the car at this dealership and that didnt matter. When looking for a new car I will definately br going to Nissan of Bay Shore.
Great dealership. Salesman are very professional. Shane was an excellent manager and really worked with me on getting a great deal on my car. Not only did they lower the price of the vehicle they were able to include a warranty for the price I wanted as well. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because I got here at 11am and I am still here at 4pm. I will be back here again when ready for another vehicle!
Horrible dealership!!!! Called a bunch of times looking for a New Nissan Sentra, was told that they had it 100% in the lot and that they were not lying, I get to the store, they tell me they have it in the back then they say they don’t have it and wanted a bunch of information. I even asked the person over the phone can you please check if you have it and they said yes 100%. How could you start lying before you even sell the car?! Horrible experience, will definitely not be back at this dealership. Shady business.
I worked with Ivan and he was super knowledgeable and helpful. He walked me through every step of the lease and took his time to go over all the options. He was attentive and kept me updated throughout the process. I will definitely be recommending Ivan and the Nissan of Bayshore all my friends and families.
Yosef is excellent. He is upfront, honest and professional. However, during my first car purchase, the registration department took the registration from existing car leaving it unregistered. I spoke several times with the registration department but they never responded back to me or fixed the issue. I had to pay extra to fix the issue on my own. When I went to get another car, the sales manager Tariq was extremely unprofessional, disrespectful and insulting. I definitely will not be returning to this dealership or recommend it to anyone.
Was not greeted by staff although there were a few talking amongst themselves outside. Was directed by woman at front desk to sit in the waiting area to be helped. Not one sales rep acknowleded my wife and I as we waited ten minutes. We walked out. I will never return. Went to another dealership.....that post will be up shortly. That went very well for us
RUN AWAY FAST FROM THESE LIARS!Please someone explain to me how this dealership is still in business.I came to this dealership 2 months ago for a new Nissan Leaf. They said they didn’t have it but it was coming in a week and asked me to deposit $100 for a reservation. I was serious about buying it so I did deposit. Then they ended up didn’t have it so I asked for a refund. I called the salesman - Nick multiple times with no answer. I called the receptionist and they redirected me to finance manager with no answer either. I left multiple voicemails.I then had to drive 30min to the dealership and asked them directly. I met Nick and he wrote down my credit card information, saying it will be refunded in 2-3 days. After 2 weeks, still no refund.I gave them final notice before reporting fraud to FTC/NY DCA.
Update: Thank you Andrea and Melody for refunding my $100. Blessings for you both.----------------------------------------Horrible experience. They took $100 from me. On May 23rd, after many hours negotiating a pre-owned 2019 Nissan Kicks, I offered my trade in and $18,000 plus Tax and MV fees. They did not accept my offer. The next day they called me to inform me that they accepted my offer. On the 24th, I walked in and it was all a big lie. They wanted more money, but convinced me to present my offer again with the promise of a better deal. They fooled me into giving them $100 to formally present my offer again to the manager, but the financing department told me they also wanted more money. Two lies was enough. So I requested a refund, but it never happened. Today I am reporting this to the NY DCA.
I dont get the good reviews for this dealership. Car salesman have a bad reputation and this dealership is one reason why. Bait with one agreed price then add all the undisclosed extras at the end. When time comes to sign thousands more! Spent 5 hours there being lied toand misled. Agreed on good deal for car with manager after he spoke to owner. Time comes to sign on the dotted line price goes up 8000.00 dollars???? Wasted my time. Reinforcing used car salesmans bad reputation. By the way take a look at yelp reviews. My answer to Andreano need to talk anymore. Bought new car next day at a reputable dealer. One more thing I think most if not all your good reviews are bogus. Once again I say to you or anyone looking for the truth take a look at your yelp reviews!
Zero stars! DISHONEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!!!!!We brought our sons to this dealership to finance their 1st cars. Our boys picked out two vehicles that they test drove and left a deposit for. This was all completed on 4/30/21. Today 5/3/21 My boys were told to come down to the dealership because we were able to get insurance for them and everything was moving forward. My boys went down to the dealership with excitement that they were getting their first cars. (That they originally picked out) But, when they got down there the sales person Mr. Chase was showing them others cars, not giving them prices nor answering questions about the cars that they originally picked out. finally, the boys were able to speak with a finance personal and was told their cars were SOLD!!!!!! HOW DO YOU SELL CARS THAT HAD A DEPOSIT ON THEM? WHY NOT SAY THIS OVER THE PHONE? WHY HAVE THEM AT THE DEALERSHIP GIVING THEM THE RUN AROUND? This crushed my boys and on top of it they were trying very hard to get them to finance vehicles that were way above their set price they wanted to finance. They wasted a entire day because they just couldnt tell us that they sold the cars and had us get insurance quotes for insurance and everything for those two particular cars. THIS WAS A HORRIBLE FIRST TIME EXPERIENCE FOR OUR BOYS!!!!!!!!!!
I wanted to try them out because I was matched with them by an online service. I got to the facility and it was packed with people so I guess I wasnt the only one that seeing the good deals or so I thought. I get there and I show my information what I have then some young attendant is trying to go on the internet to obtain the other information which Im telling her that what she is seeing on the screen is the final documents. Nevertheless she insists on trying to do things her way and then gets up abruptly tells me to hold on and disappears for about 20 minutes. I finally get frustrated and get up and walk out. Yes they might have some good deals there but the service is lousy and if youre not careful or dont speak up and say something when you first get there you will be lost in the crowd.
Recently purchased a used Nissan Rogue from a private seller and have been bringing it to Nissan of Bay Shore for all my service needs since. Jason, one of the mechanics, is very good at helping to prioritize things that need to be done and let’s me know what’s urgent and what can wait a while. He’s always upfront and honest and will even bring me back to where my car is being worked on and actually show me what he’s talking about. Great guy. Nubia works in the front of the service department and is always so nice and friendly. She makes sure to communicate to me any and all information while my car is being serviced. They have a really good payment plan that won’t check your credit if you need a service but don’t have all the money at the time. Their waiting room is spacious and has Starbucks coffee, tea, hot chocolate and bagels. They also have drove me home and picked me back up whenever I needed if I couldn’t wait for my car. It’s never fun getting your car worked on but they make the experience comfortable and tolerable. They also offer a free car wash with every service. Will continue giving them my business.
DO NOT HAVE YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE!!!! Horrible experience. Horrible communication. Horrible customer service. I wish I could Select 0 stars because they do not deserve 1. I had an appointment for my car to be serviced, when I called For an update they couldn’t even locate my vehicle and tried telling me I did not drop my car off there. By time they found where it was all service members went home. The next day I tried Calling for an update I was Given the run around with phone calls. No one answers the phone they all transfer you to someone else because they can’t be bothered. When they transfer you the call will just ring then finally go to an answering machine where you can’t leave a message because the voice box is full, dealt with this for 2 days. When they finally figured out what was wrong with my vehicle (over $1000 in repairs) they would not stop calling me! After I couldn’t reach anyone for days! When I finally Went to pick up my car EVERYONE was beyond rude. The service associates, the service manager even the valet guys! Would not recommend save yourself the stress & take the the time to commute to a further dealership.
Highly recommend this dealership for its professionalism and customer service. I walked in and was immediately helped by Marcus Evans. He took his time to assist me on finding the right vehicle with the exact features I wanted, offering no pressure he made this process a breeze. His sales manager, Ralston Chase, showed courtesy in assisting in closing the sale finding the right numbers for my purchase. Chris in finance, organized my paperwork with ease to help me get out of the dealership after a long working day. And since I drove there alone, Steven Garcia, lead transporter, was welcoming and kind enough to transport the vehicle back home in time so that I could surprise my daughter for Christmas! I wish I could write more but I at least wanted to give these gentleman the spotlight in acknowledging the great teamwork they put together in making this sale possible. Many thanks to all of them, this is just the kind of great service Nissan needs more of!
My most recent experience at Nissan of Bayshore was quite well and issue free. Just went in for a Oil & Oil Filter change. Was met by Joe, who was friendly, welcoming and kind. I also spoke to him about me having an issue booking an appointment online and he noted it down. Took a little bit of waiting but that’s understandable as more customers did show up. Once the vehicle was ready Anthony who is another great advisor and whom has helped me out in the past, went to get my paperwork and before I knew it I was on my way. I would love to ThanK the whole Nissan of Bayshore team for their good attitude and helpfulness.
I want to give a shout out to the mechanic Jay who worked on my car in the service department. I had just bought a used Nissan from Hertz last week and I couldn’t get my phone paired with the Bluetooth so I brought it to the Nissan dealer. Jay was so helpful, he kept trying to pair his phone but it wasn’t working. He decided to bring it in the back and he tried reprogramming it but it was still not working. He told me about my options which were very expensive! And then he said he’ll try one more time and it worked! He gave me a huge discount and saved me so much money! He didn’t give up either. I was also hearing some static in the speaker and when Jay reprogrammed the radio the static was also gone. He’s an all around nice and helpful guy. I can’t speak on the rest of the dealership but Jay was great. If you go the service center ask for Jay!
By far the worst and most unprofessional dealership Ive ever been to. Tried to go there twice but only got worse the second time around. Finance department has no clue what they are doing and even less of a clue how to treat a customer. Sales department too young and inexperienced. Management no better. Ive purchased about 10 new cars and never had such a horrible experience as I did at this dealership. Definitely never going back there.
I recently purchased a 2021 Nissan Rogue Platinum and the experience was swift and pleasant. I dealt with **Marcus Evans** over the phone to secure a deal, as I had to fly in from Pittsburgh to pick up the car. Marcus not only picked me up from the airport, but also bought me lunch. The transaction was smooth and overall a good experience. Moose in financing was also friendly and knowledgeable about the transaction. Overall a great experience.
Richard is the man to go to. I was with my wife while she was buying a car and he made it as smooth as possible. Deff the man to see for a new car and good experience. The staff in the finance office were polite and smooth as well. Michelle made the experience super fast and explained everything to us.
I didnt purchase my car from this dealership unfortunately I purchased from smith town. Im so disgusted with the smithtown dealership I actually came to bay shore for some sort of guidance on my situation and Ivan and Shane were great! Anybody interested in buying a car stay far away from smith town and head over to bay shore!
I told them my car was having engine trouble when accelerating and I just bought the car there about 4 months ago. I asked if they could look and I could do an oil change at the same time. He confirmed a number of times it was $39. I got there at my appointment time, then they told me it was $168 for the oil change and to check the engine! I said no way, no one told me that, and I just bought the car! Regardless, I had to wait 2 hours for them just to change the oil!!
Khiry budd was my salesman and he is one of my favorite salesman ever he is friendly and makes sure he does everything in his power to help his customers. If you want to buy a car from Nissan definitely ask for him because he will make it happen. He is also very knowledgeable about cars and that’s for any car you will possibly want so he is the guy to get the job done so make sure you ask for him if that’s the type of salesman you are looking for very genuine
Khiry Budd is a wonderful person to deal with. Very open, honest, funny, and helpful. He cares about everyone who comes into his workplace and satisfies their needs. He Gives you knowledge about any car your looking to purchase and your best options. He Always make sure you walk out with a smile on your face no matter the outcome. I recommend Khiry to any and everyone!
My fiance purchased a car here twice. Both times the car had issues that were not stated when he was looking at the car. He kind of had to figure them out on his own. With the first car he kind of took it as was because he knew he wanted to trade it out within a year. He came back for the trade and got a Rouge (I think). This cars sim card was never in the car. He has gone back multiple times and still the car does not have a sim card. The AC randomly just blew out and they cant figure out why. He spends over 3 hours each visit only to return home with the same persisting problem. Im not sure what the game is at this location but I plan on going with him to his next visit to see what is the wait about, and why was a full diagnostic done on the car so that we would know if anything (like the AC) was in danger of blowing out. Especially since he has been back there every month since the trade off (less than 6 months ago).
I came just to look but was helped by Marcus Evans . He worked with me to meet my needs from a feature and financial point and was low key no pressure and willing to negotiate. At the close Marcus’ Sales Manager Ralston Chase stepped in to help close this deal. Both gentlemen were NOT overbearing or high pressure and I am very satisfied that we made a fair deal . Good experience and recommend this dealership for a nice treatment and fair deals.
Worst experience of my life wasted 2 days on trying to buy a car, went there to see a certain price range of cars, but when we showed up to the lot none of those cars were there. I told the sales person Freddy to show me car within my prince range he completely ignored what we stated to him. He showed us a car that was over the price and lied saying it was within the budget. I told him I didn’t want to finance a car since the cars I wanted to pay cash and but the car right out. Sales team was horrible, they didn’t listen to what we were saying spend most time on his phone, and when we reach a deal that was agreed by the manger last minute they double the price right as we were about to buy the car. It’s all just bait a switch there. And mind you they change the price right as we were about to swipe the credit card, and then they wouldn’t give it back to my grandmother that she had to cancel her card and get a new one. It was a horrible experience. Thank goodness I was able to find a car on my own through a private seller and avoid being scammed. Please don’t waste your time with this dealership, and it’s been over 2 months since this incident happened and they just reply to my review sad. Ps not just one manager lie two did, and never apologize.
Very poor customer service. My car didnt start and I was directed to call a tow company to take it to the dealership. I was told I would be given an update as to the arrival and diagnosis of my car. I received neither.I called the dealership multiple times regarding the status of my car and was given the run around and then placed on hold by employee J. I was finally told I would be given a supervisor to speak to and had to leave a voicemail. When I told employee J. I was unable to connect with the supervisor I was switched again to another voicemail. I have been unable to reach anyone regarding the status of my car. I have no idea if my car arrived or what is wrong with it.
I called them to buy out the lease on my car and I was told they there was no fee for buying out the car. However when I got there I told them I had to get back to work and couldnt stay more than 30 minutes or so they said no problem. However after keeping me there for 2 hours they finally got me the paper work and I found out they were charging me $1200 fee on top of the buyout. I told them to forget it. However they said they would take care of me and offered to bring the processing fee down to $595 since I had said I shopped this and Patchogue would do it for $500. I decided to just do it because I didnt want to start over. Then a month later when I checked my credit report I found that they had given my credit information to 4 separated companies and they all had hard inquiries to my credit profile. I specifically told Christopher that I was already pre-approved with capitol one. I called them to get this fixed and Christopher never called me back. I even told them I would post a bad review if they did not resolve this.Very bad experience.
This is my 4th Nissan and I couldnt be happier! I have been a loyal customer with Nissan primarily due to Chases professionalism and high regard to customer satisfaction. Wherever Chase went, I followed! Now that Chase is manager my sales rep was Marcus Evans. Although Chase overlooked my deal, I was nervous about working with someone new. Marcus Evans put me at ease immediately. He was so personable, extremely professional, and like Chase, customer satisfaction is priority. Marcus was so focused on all my needs and concerns. My experience was beyond stress free. Marcus, like Chase, has gained my respect and loyalty. Thank you Marcus & Chase for yet another wonderful experience!
I met with a sales person that showed us a suv. We liked it, test drove it and ask price. He said $22k. I looked on line and saw it was listed at $18k. We went back and forth and he wrote down last offer at $15,500. I said I would leave deposit. He got his manager and Manager said it would cost 19,000.I was so dumb founded I did not understand how they can play games. This dealership is very unprofessional and in my opinion unethical. They do not treat their customers the right way. I even called him back after I left and no one returned the call. The next day the program director called me. He asked me to come back in and I said let me speak with the manager 1st before I spend my time coming back in. He was adamant about not getting a manager on the phone. Very strange and very unprofessional.
The associate who helped me was named Marco I believe, he was very professional and expressed a courteous manner making sure that my visit to the Nissan Location was met with satisfactory results . Im very happy with my experience. I thought I would take the time to fill out the survey and give positive feedback.Thank you for your survey system, its a good tool used to weed out the unproductive staff.
When we arrived we were met by Rachel. I dont remember her last name, but she was in the service department and she was extremely helpful and polite. She definitely made the experience pleasant; and one that we could certainly recommend to others. It was a great experience overall!
Started out a little rough, they have a different process than I was used to, wanted you to put money down and get insurance on the car before you knew what the numbers were and had actually agreed to buy the car but I told them there was no chance of that happening and they got it done without me doing that way. I suspect that maybe a lot of people have them work on a deal and then back out at the last minute and doing things the way they wanted me to do it would help prevent that. They may want to refrain from doing things that way because it does not make a good first impression and I almost left. However Theo the sales person and Winston the finance manager were incredible, and we got through it and I couldnt be happier in the end. Once we got past that issue, it was smooth sailing and they went above and beyond to make me happy and get the numbers where I wanted them. Definitely a unique experience compared to other dealers I have purchased from on the past. Not that the other dealers were bad, this one was just better. Winston the Finance Manager was amazing in getting the best deal and offering advice that will help in the future and he was very upfront with the numbers and did not try to hide anything and explained anything I did not understand. Theo the sales person was very helpful and put in a Herculean effort to make sure I had the right vehicle and got it at the price I needed. I highly recommend this dealership. See Theo and make sure you talk to Winston, they will do whatever it takes to get the deal done and make you happy.
1) They were trying to sell me the car for 80% more than advertised. Had to wait for 5 hours until they were talking to managers and to managers’ managers to give me the price that was advertised.2) The car turned out to have multiple problems in a couple of weeks. I came back and asked to perform guarantee repairs. They said the car’s mileage makes it non eligible for guarantee repairs. But the car was over the threshold when they sold it to me. Why would you ever issue a guarantee that doesn’t work from the get-go? I don’t know.Would not recommend this company.
Worst car dealership I have ever had to work with. We cannot wait to return our car when our lease is over and never have to come back here again. We have worked with them through two cars but this past year was horrible. The went back on all the service terms promised when we signed the lease, the staff is rude, and the wait time is beyond horrible even with an appointment. 0 stars!
I have always bought my cars through them. However they are under new management and have completely lost any possible sales from me. I went in and had Derwin who just straight up lied to me every step of the way. I ended up giving them a deposit to continue the deal and when the deal could not go through I asked for my deposit back. I had spoken to Simon the manager multiple times who kept saying its done or he is working on it and It has been 2 weeks of waiting for my refund and still nothing. Very dissatisfied throughout the whole experience I will never go back!!
Do not go to this dealership. I went in there to buy a new car detailing what I was looking for. They assured me I would have a good experience. They had me sitting around for 4 plus hours while they kept coming back with higher numbers then told initially. I was promised no surprise charges when brought into the finance office, then they charged me with a acquisition fee of almost $1000. But the worst part is they charged me for a new registration which should have been for 2 years. It was only a registration for 2 months. When I contacted them by phone they just kept transferring me. When contacted them by email they told me I would receive my new one before my old one expired and then ignored me after that and I never received it. I contacted them by email to give them a chance to make this right multiple times and again no response. I have leased or bought 3 cars from this place and my family has multiple as well. We wont be returning and I suggest anyone in the market for a new car avoid this place at all costsupdate ive sent multiple emails and still no help. dont go here
I recently purchased a 2020 Altima. The sales team was great. The finance team was very easy to work with. However when I took the car hone i was owed 2 heated seats. Called various times and was told I’d receive a call back and never got one back. Ended up calling back and was finally able to schedule the installation. Also the second day I had the car I noticed there were many ants inside and outside of the car. While opening a door there was a bunch of ants in between the door. Trying to contact the sales man as well as Nissan has been very difficult
I am truly impressed! Joe and Antone went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help me lease my rogue sport. I had a “complicated” situation and both of them navigated my experience with kindness, persistence and reassurance. I am looking forward to working with them again in the future! I highly recommend their assistance to anyone who is seeking to buy or lease from Nissan of Bayshore. Thanks so much to both of you!
Absolutely great experience! After a rough time at a different Nissan dealer we came here. Theresa, Eli, and Chris all helped us! They were all patient, well-informed, and exceptionally helpful with all aspects of getting our brand new pathfinder! Will definitely go back when we are ready for another purchase!
The remote start is working whit the original remote controller thats something I really like. But the once I turn on the car (only for a very short distance) the car only stay on for about 5 min. Ot should stay on for 15, 5 is not enough. And if I open the door thar car shout off.
I don’t recommend this place to anyone once you sign the papers for the car they no longer care to help you no only did my salesmen Johan admit to over selling me a piece of junk that in just 6 months the car has over $1000 worth of problem they wanted to charge me $165 to check the car then they didn’t want to fix anything they wanted me to pay$1200 to fix the car and when I spoke with Johan he told me you and I both know this cars value isn’t worth what he sold it to me for they promised me a detail on the in side because it was a mess and they never honored that the place is just a total mess I went for an oil change and waited. 3 hours and that was a problem with them they didn’t want to honor the free oil change never again
My first complaint would be that’s I was there for 3 hours for a oil change. Also I requested for a vehicle that was on sell in the website of the dealership to be shown to me. I walked with 1 of the sellers to the lot to wait for the vehicle presentation and I was left there for about 20 minutes until I decided to returned to the waiting area to await for my vehicle to be service. I understand that this are not normal times but a little communication wouldn’t hurt.
Purchased 2019 Rogue actually 2 of them. I have in writing free oil changes for life. Went yesterday for my 6 month free oil change and due to pandemic they will not honor it. They still do have free snacks and beverages. They can afford that. Joe the service manager claims sales had them pull the offer. What a bunch of bull. I spent thousands on servicing my 2007 Altima for 12 years there and have recommended them to many. In fact I also brought my Hyundai there for service last year. They are losing lots of business over this. They should be ashamed of themselves. Hard to believe they can sleep nights knowing they are thieves.
My recently experience was good they told me tthe waiting time was about 1 ¹/² or 2 hours, and it was on point, 1 ½ hours. I was also supposed to have my oil changes for free during the life of my Nissan, but it was canceled due to the pandemic.Anyway, while i waited i enjoyed the coffee very much, great coffe!!!
Anthony Hernandez, Service Advisor always going above and beyond all expectations. I am severely hearing impaired and a lip reader so you can imagine how difficult it is to hear with a mask on. Anthony goes beyond making sure I understand ever detail and answers any questions no matter how trivial they are. A true asset to the Nissan Corporation. ❤❤❤
I scheduled a service appointment ahead of time and was told it would take an hour, oil change, inspection and recall. When I got there, they said 2-3 hours. Im supposed to get free oil changes for the life of the lease, but was told that promotion was cancelled and I was charged. I left the vehicle there. I called up 3 hours later because no one had called me, and was told there vehicle was just finishing up. When I picked up the vehicle, no one went over what was done. I went to take my car and realized the inspection sticker had not been changed. I then had to wait another ten minutes while they took my car back to replace the sticker. They left a plastic seat cover crumbled up in my cup holder. It was literally the worst service Ive ever had.
If I could give less stars I would. I made an appointment here and they called and texted me to remind me and make sure i was coming for said appointment and i got there to find that they sold the car earlier that day and didnt even inform me and then said they would price match a different car and then said that car was 2x the price of the price I wanted and the sales manager was just yelling its not my fault the car was sold earlier and said I had no right to a price matched car I work in retail this is the worst customers service I ever experienced in my entire life I will make sure to tell everyone I know never to buy from this company. Overall the management needs serious improvement in customer service and how he speaks to an upset customer when they were at fault.
Purchasing a vehicle can be a long and tedious event, but I must say that the staff at Nissan of Bay shore made the experience worth while. I have been to other Nissan dealerships and was not given the attentiveness, clarity and understanding of my purchase like I was given at Nissan of Bay Shore. I would like to thank Simon, the General Manager, Winston, from the finance department, and the first person I encountered who was kind, professional and hard working, Darwin who works in sales. These three individuals made it possible, easy and a pleasure to do business with. This is the dealership to go to. Thank you. Happy and Safe Driving.
Dave handled me and my 2016 Sentra. He explained what the issue was and planned out all the next steps i needed to take.Being a first time new car owner, i was alittle nervous about going about fixing my car and he honestly and truly made my experience easy, fast and painless
I’ve had my car (2020 Altima) for 3 months, went to Nissan trusting that I’d be taken care of being a first time customer for a oil change in which was supposed to be free and to check my tire pressure on my right rear tire because the light continued to come on. To say the least I was the 2nd car to pull in at 7:30 am and I sat and waited for 3 hours for Dave from service to hand me a bill for $310.67, yes for a tire and what was supposed to be a free oil change! Then after not agreeing to the cost because I think anyone would agree the price was astronomical for what I was there for, I then asked to speak with a supervisor who basically approached me as if the whole situation was a joke. If I could give the service center less than 1 star I would have & the employees for the poor customer service including the technician who thought it was nice to sit and chuckle with both the manager & Dave about the whole situation. I will never return to Nissan’s service center in Bayshore and I urge you all of you can go somewhere else.
We called to make sure that they had the exact interior color that we wanted. We spoke to Casey Vasquez and she checked the inventory and said they had that exact car on the lot. I asked again because we had to drive over an hour to go there and she assured us that they had the exact color that I wanted. We make an appointment and arrived on time. They made us wait 20 minutes to see a salesman. I said I want to see the car, but he insists on taking us to a different car. Then he insists we hear all about the car and says we have to go with him for a test drive before we can see the car I want. We told him this is our fourth Murano we don’t need to test drive it. He insisted! I asked numerous times while driving if they had the colors I wanted and he said yes. We go through them pricing out our trade in and he comes up with a price. Get this! After two hours he quotes us a price, that is the sticker price on the car, no discount and NO they don’t have the car I wanted! He said if we sign papers he can locate one! This is how car dealers get a bad rap! Do NOT ever go to this dealership!!!! If I could give it a zero I would!
Juan the sales associate listened to my request and him and his team made it happen including Anton the finance associate to David who gave me a tutorial on my new Murano. They were knowledgeable, professionals, and provide excellent customer service. Overall everyone was was pleasant from the service staff, the receptionist, and members of the team that were in the showroom.
The service center was fine however the dealer had sold the car to me with free oil changes and inspections for life and will no longer honor that agreement. They fully admit to have promised it, I have it in writing, they just wont honor it. I will never buy anything from them again and probably wont ever buy a Nissan again either.
Marcus Evans was so helpful and made my car shopping experience smooth and easy. Marcus isn’t just a salesman, he is a genuine person who truly wants you to leave that dealership with a new car and a smile. I could not recommend this man enough. I had originally gone to Nissan 112 and I had a horrible experience. The salesperson had no idea what he was talking about and made mistakes that had me feeling so uneasy that I walked out. If you are planning on buying or leasing a car, ask for Marcus Evans at Nissan in bayshore.
I called at last minute in the day and I told them I needed an inspection on my vehicle and I had to be out of there by 12 because I had another appt. They were awesome and I was in and out within 45 minutes from the time I arrived. The staff and management in all departments are truly amazing and so professional. I am one happy customer and have even recommended other Nissan family members to come here for all there services. So happy to have purchased my vehicle from Nissan of Bayshore.
I am so pleased with my experience at Nissan of Bay Shore. Over the last nearly 40 years Ive gotten about 9 or 10 new cars. This is my first at Nissan of Bay Shore but it wont be my last. I can honestly say between my salesperson, Derwin, and the manager, Eli, Ive never been treated better. They were so accommodating, friendly, kind and helpful, I highly recommend them. You wont be disappointed.
Had a bad experience. Cecilia is very deceitful. Will say anything to bring you in. Saw a Nissan pathfinder dealer certified on autotrader. Whenever I called the dealership, Cecilia would pick up the phone. She said that they are a volume store and very negotiable . Plus, there is a $2000 cash back. I told her we live further away and asked if we can discuss any negotiations over the phone. She said to come into dealership and they wouldnt waste our time and she stated again how negotiable they are. I called her to confirm the day of visit and she still confirmed the $2000 cash back. When I went into the dealership, Cecilia was no where to be found. Juan introduced himself and said he reported to Cecilia. Juan told me that the car wasnt dealer certified but is certifiable. What do you mean by that? You have it listed as dealer certified. I called Cecilia again on phone and she said one of the managers would come over to talk to me.Juan had no idea that the car was dealer certified. I asked him how long hed been with the dealership and he said 2 years. Juan also wanted us to pay a different price than what the price the dealership had listed on autotrader. Please see pics of autotrader pricing and what the salesman Juan stated i would have to pay. After, I told him thats false advertising, he changed the price to price listed on autotrader plus an additional $1495 for advertising and another $1495 for speed same day processing. He said we had to pay for their advertising on autotrader. Lol. Yeah ok.**** called after reading owners response and wasnt able to get in touch with a manager.
I recently just purchased a Nissan Rouge sport. Yusuf and Eli were extremely helpful throughout the whole process. They made my car buying experience a breeze and answered all the questions I had. They were very attentive and I will definitely be coming here in the future!
I had a good experience Ive been working with marcos My service adviser angel who is the service manager I had some difficulties with my transmission blowing at 88000 miles right after the day it expired but they tried their hardest to get things taken care of and They did a good job Joe makes me feel like its like family talking to him I must say he Did his partner always make me feel comfortable and help me out when needed I will always go back to This deal is shown
Had my oil changed, engine filter and the cabin filter changed too. Mark let me know the next scheduled maintenance that needs to be done on my truck as well. He always keeps me up to date on maintenance and is very helpful and considerate! He makes having my truck serviced a pleasant experience!
I DO NOT reccomend anyone purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. Everyone seems very nice and polite in person, but as soon as you get home they are very unprofessional. I practically had to stalk and call everyday to get updates with a vehicle I had to put a deposit on. I think I received 1 call back out of the 80 calls and voicemails I left, in which my salesman got very loud and disrespectful with me. they were not honest with information on the car, they do not tell u everything up front. they gave me outrageous almost 3000$ in “dealership fees”. This was an outgoing 3 week process, in which I ended up asking for my deposit back so I could go elsewhere. I spoke to 2 different managers about the problems and complaints I was having and they were very unprofessional as-well and did nothing to compensate for my troubles. VERY unprofessional and NOT worth the headache they give you.
I just bought another car from Bayshore. Best dealership ever. Over the years I have my family and friends come here and every single time, this team takes care of us. Best sales team ever! Professional caring and thinking for the clients!!! Now moreThan ever in the middle of the pandemic. They really helped us out today getting the approval that we need to buy the brand new Altima! Love it love the store love the staff! Champion team and champion managers!
Walked in and walked up to reception desk. Completely ignored. Finally salesman walks up to me, asks what I need, and walks me to a desk. I explain that Ive already seen and test drove the car we are looking for at a different Nissan dealer the day before hand, and we are just curious if they had the model we wanted in a different color for the same or better price. I tell them I needed a high mileage lease, the guy says hell go grab a car and disappears for 25 minutes (I didnt need to see the car, just curious if they had one in stock). Finally he comes back, takes my information, and disappears for another 10 minutes. Then I see the car Im looking for pull up in front of the dealership. Salesman reappears, walks me out to the car and asks if I want to look at it. After I said Ive already seen it, he demands I look at it. Then asks if I want to test drive it. After I said I already drove it, he demands I drive it again (literally around the block. Maybe 200 yards. Useless). We park the car, as we are walking back into the dealership he asks for my license and disappears for another 15 minutes. Finally he shows back up with a credit application and asks me to fill it out. I explain that Im not filling out a credit application since Im not the one leasing the car, its for someone else, and Im just looking at the car and getting information while they are at work, which was the very first thing I explained to him now over an hour ago. When he asks me to call the person while they are at work and get their information, I said that Id like to leave and that I want my license back. He gets up and walks away, a few minutes later a manager sits down in front of me, still no license. He explains to me that he cant get me a quote without a credit application, which is BS because EVERY OTHER Nissan dealer I had been to was able to provide me with a rough base number to work with even after not providing any personal information. I understand that lease quotes vary by credit, but this manager refused to give me anything. I had to ask THREE times for my drivers license, before they went into the office to go get it for me. The literally held my drivers license hostage so that I couldnt leave. I truly think that this dealership makes their money by ripping off low income families and people that dont understand the process. I know the process, I have friends that own and run dealerships, and everything this dealership was doing and saying was not making me feel comfortable at all...
The staff is very kind and generous and cares for your needs. They are very helpful and will go beyond the call of duty to make sure youre getting the best deal that fits your budget and your needs. Bless up to Ryan in sales and Anton in the finance dept. Check them out 👍🏾
This is the first review Ive ever written. I couldnt be happier with the service and care I received at this location. Carlos was very professional and efficient with the inquiry and the labor done by Anthony was perfect. They made me feel very comfortable and all the work was done in a timely matter. Any future car related issues I will be sure to check in with them only.
Made an appointment for my high roof cargo van and specifically asked are you capable of servicing this vehicle with your lifts and garage door heights, they put me on hold and responded yes. Day of appointment and as I check in the van the service rep says sorry we arent NV approved dealer and cant get it on our lifts. As I walk back out to the garage the parking attendant pulled my van over a giant curb. Obviously upset with not only you cant service my car but you drove it over a curb too. I asked the parking attendant did you hit the curb with my truck, he ignored me and asked for my id number. I asked again did you hit the curb and he just sat there denying after I clearly saw it happen. Staff was rude and obviously incompetent!
The best dealer I have ever been to, nissan of Bayshore look no further. My salesperson was Johan very extremely helpful throughout the whole process including the appointment calls he used to make to me until to the point when I walked out with my car in just a few hours. Without forgetting the finance person who explained every question I had to me in detail. The Bayshore nissan has a great team of people
I was physically assaulted at the dealership by a salesperson named Juan. I told him I wasnt interested in the car and started to walk away he lost it. he locked the exit door and physically blocked it when I tried to open the lock he grabbed my arms and started pushing me. I asked him to let go of me but he didnt. I started to yell help let go of me. Dont put your hands on me. As I was leaving he kept following and threatening me. Another salesperson ran outside and called him back. I called the dealership to complain about it spoke with a sales manager named Eli who refused to give me his last name. he was rude and unwilling to help. I was disgusted and surprised by the whole experience. I finally got in touch with the general manager and also called corporate.
I didnt got a good service by I think his name is Richard. On the first statement I realized that he wrote down 99 cent over the deal, which means over 3 years is $is $35.64. Its not a money but thats not the way to do a business and that 99 cent will damage more him and Nissan dealer then me, also the salesperson Freddy because of that promised me a free oil change and when I tried to contact him he never answered!
Glenn wrote:I stopped there not to buy a vehicle. I needed assistance with a FOB. It was on a Sunday so the service department was closed. I went into the sales office and was given all the time and attention to resolve my issue. This was unexpected as it required losing time on the sales floor. A totally positive experience.
The service was the best I ever had. I didnt feel pressured to buy, I was informed of everything and I made a connection with the entire team. Right away I was greeted with smiles, the sales team listened to my needs and truly led me in the right path to find the car of my dreams. The process was fast and I feel like I got the best deal.
The Salesman That I deal with is Ivan Fajardo is a most awesome hardworking terrificI recommend Ivan , the salesperson. To request if you should buy a vehicle at Nissan of Bayshore Awfull I am retracting my reviewNot only of the salesman, but of the entire dealership. I am not giving it any stars !
This is my current dealership but I don’t see a long term relationship with them. The service department is nice but I really hate when employees smoke right outside a building- free world- yes and I have the right to not like it. Also they keep telling me there are recalls on my vehicle and it’s the same thing each time- it’s like they like wasting customers time trying to get them to schedule visits. Just update the dang system.
I’m only giving one star because that’s the only option I can give otherwise I’d give none. The service is the worst you can ever get. They made me drive there twice from Connecticut. We first agreed on a price and when I went back the next day to close the deal, everything changed. They were trying to be sneaky & charge me an extra $2,000 more. They ran my credit without me being present in the room. We also agreed on them running my credit on two banks that I chose but they decided to run it to two extra banks that I didn’t give them permission too. They are too pushy and put a lot of pressure on me putting insurance on the car, without me even buying it yet. If you don’t want to mess up your day or waste your time. Do not go there !!
They lie. I will never use the service department again. They lost all my trust. First of all, they promise free oil changes for the life of the lease, and then take it back. They knew full well it was promised and simply stated that promotion has ended. Well if it was a promotion that could end they should NOT tell me its free for the LIFE OF MY LEASE! Only the first oil change was free for me. Secondly, they lied about me needing a whole new tire, saying a nail was in the side and couldnt be patched. Luckily, because of the not free oil change, i already lost my trust in them and told them NOT to touch my tire. I took it to the gas station who confirmed for me the tire could be easily patched/plugged, and that a new tire was NOT necessary. Nissan was trying to get another $185 out of me for a new tire I didnt need. LYING CROOKS!
I was told that my agreement for a free oil change was still good however when I got there I was told that I was no longer covered to get the free oil changes I traveled over twenty miles to be told that my car was no longer covered under the free oil change contract and no exceptions could be made I should have been told that over the phone when Nissan made my appointment to come in very unprofessional
I dropped my sentra off for a recall at 9:30am(appointment time) person at the desk said it should be done soon. Almost 7 hours later I call to see if my car is done and no one had any clue what was going on. Took at least 3 different people to figure it out and tell me 45 mins. I show up a hour later. Nobody has any clue where my car is. And then try to charge me $69 for a recall that said no charge to you. Unacceptable.
Brought my car in for an oil change and inspection, and they rotated my tires as well. Quick service, no apparent issues. I left and drove 4 miles home. 4 hours later (and no other outings), my front driver’s side tire is completely flat. Clearly it wasn’t flat when I passed inspection this morning but according to the service department when I called them back, I “could’ve driven over something anywhere”. Fair. But when roadside assistance came to put my spare on, I watched and he showed me where there was the outline of a nail head from where a nail went in and then was *pulled* out. I know I didn’t remove any nails today. But someone did. Do with that what you will. This was my first time getting my car serviced (1 year and 4200 miles into my lease) and I know now that I don’t trust this dealership.Add that to the monthly (I kid you not) letters asking me to “buy my car back” and so many marketing calls I had to block their number.
Was not prepared to purchase a new car while getting a service on my current car... but was curious. Spoke with Frank and he worked with me (which was not easy for him) but left there with what I wanted at MY bottom line price. I recommend, if youre interested in a nissan, come here...good people!!!
First off the salesman Yousef tried lying to me right off the bat by telling me the credit report was to see what incentives Nissan could offer me instead telling me it was a credit report but I am smart enough to know what it is.The next major issue is the salesmen and customers and most staff on the floor did not have their mask on. When you first walk in the guy who goes over the equipment when you buy a new car didn’t have his on the entire time then he had to go inside my car to go over my equipment. This is unacceptable. I did say something to Yousef and the finance guy about no one wearing mask and nothing was done. How is it management can let the staff and customers walk around like this during a pandemic. I tell you if I didn’t need a car to be turned in I would have walked out. I NEVER WILL GO BACK THERE EVER!!!! This will be my last lease with Nissan!Next issue I agreed to put $2,000 in out of pocket cost down and when I went to sign my papers it said $4700 . $650 acquisition fee which no one told me about , taxes and some other BS fees. You guys think people are stupid and you lie to them and have them switch over their insurance and everything prior to signing the contract thinking people are stupidI am still so upset from all the deceit and lies and the main reason I am upset is the non compliance of mask Nissan should do their customers better and close down Bayshore NY dealer for non compliance of a state mandate. I will be following up with a complaint to NYS about the mask issue. Totally unacceptable!
I purchased a car from bayshore nissan in October 2020. It is January 2021 and this is my third trip to the dealership to repair mechanical issues. in doing some research i also found that i was sold the vehicle at 3,000 more than the value of the car. Moreover, i attempted to trade in the vehicle at Nissan and was met with pushy sales as well as a request for a good faith deposit in addition to the 1600 i already put down when i purchased the car. when i refused, the finance manager refused to submit my application to the banks altogether even after running my credit report already.1 word, disgusting and predatory. There are better dealerships with more moral.
My most recent experience at Nissan of Bay Shore was a great buying experience. Ron and Jose are very knowledgeable, professional and patient. The purchase of my Nissan Rouge was flawless and very favorable priced. I am so impressed with my experience. Ron came highly recommended. Ron and Jose truly provided me with a pleasurable experience. I love my car and will be recommending Ron and Jose to my family and friends. Thanks again for a fantastic experience.Rosanna
Online there was a car listed for $9,900 and in the fine print there was nothing listed about a required down deposit or mandatory finance. My sales person Ali(young male) told me that they put that price online just to attract people to the store. I told them this is against the law and false advertising. We went over prices and I told him what I was comfortable paying. We came to a price and I told him that I was not interested in the deal. The next day he told me he worked something out in the price range I was looking for, he called me in just to tell me someone else wants to purchase the car and he will not sell it to me unless I finance. VERY unprofessional. When he printed out the car fax he was surprised I knew how to read it or what it was. He was texting on his phone during the whole visit. When I told him I did not want the deal he did not even say goodbye he walked away like a child who did not get their way.DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE.
DO NOT TRUST THEM. They promised my mom a certain price with a certain amount down. I left after that. Then when it came to the paper work they tried to make her pay $20 extra a month and put an additional 2k because they knew she was not as smart with cars. They prey on people who do not understand the car industry. They kept her there from 4pm to 9:30 pm. Be careful and don’t let them bully you around!!
One of the easiest transactions I have had buying a car. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and answered every question I had. If you are buying or leasing a new car I would take time to visit Bay Shore Nissan and see for yourself. I am so pleased with my new car and it’s safety features not to mention the smooth ride it has.
Zero on customer service. Feel very under appreciated as a customer. All I asked for was an estimate and still cant get a real estimate after weeks of emailing. I emailed them multiple times and after two plus weeks I have received 2 replies back, both werent helpful. I guess if Im not ready to buy a car, my services needed dont really matter to them.
What a great experience I had today at Bayshore Nissan. Rob the service advisor was so kind and professional in solving the issue with my Altima vehicle. They diagnosed my noise issue and were very honest and reasonable as to what was needed to fix my issue. The mechanic there are A techs as well. Big fan of a the tech Jeff is an expert mechanic.
I had the pleasure of going to this newly renovated dealership. The customer service was excellent. I was in the market for a used Nissan Altima. They had a great vehicle and great sales/management team. They took me on a test drive which was great and it was an overall great experience.I did not buy a vehicle. Honestly the only reason why the deal wasn’t closed was more because of myself. I Had a long day and came directly after work. Being tired did not help matters. So I did not finish out the deal. However that doesn’t negate how good of a dealership it is.Kudos to new management.
Johan & Shane from the Bayshore Nissan Dealership are the go-tos!!! Shane and Johan negotiated the absolute best price that they physically could.Johan went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help my mother receive her dream car! With not only the best deal but he showed us every car, every trim, and was an absolute pleasure to work with. Will definitely be using them again👍🏼 To see my mother smile the way she did made sitting her all day worth it!!!
The Service that I was given was beyond every expectation I had when I first walked in. I went with my boyfriend, and our salesman was Johan and we also had Celeste that helped us out. We came on a Saturday which was a very busy day, yet they both made sure that we felt like a priority the entire time. Johan really listened to what it was we were looking for and made sure to pair us with a car that fit our situation and price range and I walked out of there with a car that I am more than satisfied with! Both Johan and Celeste were extremely professional and helpful and I would recommend this place in a heartbeat!

2022-06-05Some of the hardest working folks I’ve done business with.I highly recommend you specifically ask for Henry, he’ll go to the ends to get you what you want and at a price that is quite reasonable. The finance manager Winston and sales manager Tariq played a big role into making sure I left satisfied with my purchase financially and made sure it was exactly what I wanted. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect trio. The location closes at 9pm generally but they stayed with me till 1am and made sure I got out there with the car that I wanted.I’ve been going back everyday just to drop by and ask more questions about the car and advice on how to make sure I take care of it and also make smart decisions towards financing my payments. They’re so close by to my home which makes it easy to drop by and hang out with them and also be inspired by their worth ethic. They truly care.

2022-03-24DO NOT GO HERE, they lied about the buyback information for my lease and held my keys hostage so I wouldnt walk out. Just went into Nissan of Bay Shore to facilitate the buyout of my lease. I spoke with Ivan who, at first, was okay to deal with. As soon as I made it obvious I had no interest in returning the car or trading it in, things started taking a very long time. He asked to inspect the car and held onto my keys. They then asked me to put down $100 before they would release the information to buy out the lease and I would get that money back when I delivered a certified bank check to purchase the lease. I was then told I need to speak to the Finance Manager. I went in and he basically told me that the only way to buy out the car was to finance it again through Nissan. When I explained that I had my own lender and all I needed was the final numbers, he told me that wouldnt be possible. I call him out on his lie and I attempted to walk out but realized I didnt have my keys. I found Ivan and asked him for my keys, HE REFUSED TO GIVE MY KEYS TO ME. I had to call Nissan Corporate and threaten to call the police before they decided to give me my keys back. Apparently Nissan Corporate reached out to them while I was waiting for my keys... after that they wanted to refund my money and attempt to give me an overly inflated number to buyout my car. Nissan Corporate advised me to leave after a complaint form was filed and that a Supervisor would be reaching out to me to help with the sale of my lease in 2 business days. Ive read so many stories about how crazy car dealerships are acting because of their inventory issues but the lengths Nissan of Bay Shore went to... to try and keep my car today has made me sure that Ill never want another Nissan again.

2022-04-11My recent Service Dept Experience was Entirely Positive! Thanks to Service Advisor Marcos Tabera, Service Manager Joseph Maruca, and Technician Anthony Vasquez, my expectations were again exceeded. From my personal experience, these three service personnel are valuable assets to this dealership as they contribute in no small way to what I can characterize my recent service visit as a convenient, pleasant, stress-free dealership service experience. Though I have no experience with this dealerships Sales Department, I can without hesitation recommend the Service Department. In addition, the entire facility appears clean and well maintained, and the customer waiting area is comfortable and clean with welcome amenities. Other staff members Ive dealt with were also pleasant and capable. Finally, appointments are readily available and the web-based scheduling with a choice of Service Advisor is a useful tool.

2022-07-08If I have an appointment and I arrive on time, I don’t see why I should have to wait an hour an a half for a basic oil change. I would understand I have to wait if I walked in but what’s the point of having an appointment. This time was one of my shortest wait times I’ve waited as much as 2.5 hrs for an oil change with an appointment. Next time I’ll go to a quick lube.

2022-03-17We started out with Carlos, who was very good, unfortunately when we came back he was with another customer and we were then with Daniel. Daniel was not as personable or informative as Carlos, but was also good to work with. Unfortunately, I dont remember the gentlemans name who gave us a tour of the car after we purchased it, but he was great. Very informative, answered all our questions and was very friendly. The finance woman, I also forgot her name, was great too. Thoroughly explained the paperwork I was signing, answered all questions and was very friendly. Overall it was a good experience, only qualm I had was how long of a process it is, but there were others who were purchasing vehicles as well, wo I understand.

2022-03-03If there was a 0 star or negative star option I would choose it. Here are some things to to take note about the company as I made a recent purchase back in January 2022…- poor customer service-new fully untrained associates who give you wrong VIN number which leads you to insure the wrong vehicle and fines from the state-our associate has since separated from the company and they are not organized with who can follow up with your inquiries since he left-scam like tactic such as weekly payments with high fees that they don’t speak to you about. Telling you that you are getting a free package for the extended service but it is in fact not.-they run your credit before you even shop around. So you are stuck with them.-manager unable to contact you back as they don’t own up to their mistakes-if no one associate can’t help you they will try to make you come back another dayThese are just some frustrations we have dealt with within in the 1st month of our purchase and my partner and I are still dealing with mistakes. There are some nice reps there but that does not diminish the overall frustration had with the purchase. My partner and I will never purchase another vehicle from the dealership. Due to such a horrid sales experience I am nervous to even take the vehicle for a service.

2022-04-16The absolute WORST dealership I have ever been to. The highest pressure sales tactics. They take your keys to “evaluate your trade-in” and they won’t give them back if you want to leave! Unreal. They keep you there for HOURS just trying to ware you down. They make you talk to several different people trying to tell you what a great deal it is. Would never go back here or any “Atlantic” dealership.

2022-03-05Would’ve been my first time buying/leasing a car from a dealership but I’m glad I took my business elsewhere. They asked me for a “down payment” before they could run my credit, they said whether it was $20 or $100 they just needed something to “show the bank.” I’ve never heard of anything like that and with any other dealership I’ve ever gone to, they have never asked me for any sort of money to run my credit??? After that I asked for an estimate of the lease price or the monthly payments if I were to finance and they told me I’d need to close a deal with them in order to discuss that and then left me a voicemail saying they had good news for me and I asked them for a quote over the phone since they were clearly trying to make a sale but they were playing too many games. They told me I had to come back to the dealership to discuss the prices which I did not want to do after the experience I had. I never asked for my $20 back just for them to run my credit and I recommend any dealership but this one. No dealership should ask for money down unless you’re closing a deal with them - do not feel pressured to give them money and definitely don’t do business with people who think you’re going to be easy to rip off.
