This place is the true definition of a hole in the wall. Tiny little bar on a side street, we only found this place because they had a sandwich board sign that caught our attention. This bar is absolutely no frills. A few small tables around the perimeter, one communal table inside and the only staff was a single bartender. We recently spent some time here before a concert at Barclays enjoying the amazing pickle shots. Great drink for just $5, even garnished with a whole pickle. Came back after the show for even more shots. Definitely recommend this bar, dont miss the pickle shots!

Went there to pregame the Nets and Celtics game 2 playoff. Great atmosphere able to hang on the sidewalk and have a couple of beers. They have a window that opens up under the sidewalk so you dont have to squeeze in the place.

Awesome dive-bar vibe right by the Barclays center. Great prices as well, no ridiculous prices for a single beer. The bartender working while I was there (with the awesome tattoos) was friendly, chatty, and accommodating. No complaints. I might make this my new go-to, Id love to become a regular.
Great beer selection
Super cheap and fun dive bar thats close enough to the train (Atlantic Terminal) to catch a late night train home. $7 beer and shots all night, how do you beat it? They play relaxed music, the crowd is all on the level and not out of hand, and from what I saw the bar is really well stocked. The bartenders are really nice and funny too. We had a small incident where two guys were hitting on us a little more than comfortable, but thats sometimes par for the course in Brooklyn. Definitely coming back.

Ended the night/morning here for a bachelorette party. It reminded our group as a Up North Minnesota bar. Bartender was awesome! They had a variety of liquor, along with specialty shots. The bride took one of each and bartender even gave her one. Everyone was extremely friendly. Highly recommend!!!
I work in the area and looking for a bar after a long day at work could be challenging. A co worker recommended this bar & since i tried it, has been living up to its expectations as to being a bar only, no food and if there is food, Im too late for it because I usually arrive past midnight. They do have chips which I dont mind
Quirky, small, and straightforward bar with a concertedly low key vibe that makes it a good first or last stop. They also have a euro-centric beer list and make creative uses of pickle juice. Nice but not overbearing bartenders
I had a bad day. Bartender Kelsey is awesome. She gave me a perfect hot rum cider and an ice cold beer. Shes friendly, made me feel better with alcohol and quick witted banter. The bar stayed to watch movies, which included: Anchor Man, Ted, Braveheart, and cable guy. We sang songs.
5 star hh prices and a cool friendly bartender when we visited. Dark bar and not much of an atmosphere/identity though. Some friendly advice to owner(s) is to put some stuff on your walls!!!
I try to come here at least once a week, its by far one of my favorite bars in Park Slope. The wooden decor, Edison bulbs, and the long table in the center make it feel very cozy without being too cramped. The bartenders are very hospitable and quick to serve, and I love the fact that its not as crowded as some of the other bars in the area so you can actually have a normal conversation without destroying your vocal chords.

I’ve been going to this bar since it opened about five years ago. It is consistently a late night haven with incredible value on a great array of drinks. The owners themselves regularly bartend and offer an admirable level of hospitality.

This place is so awesome. The drinks are interesting and beer selection is good. Christian is such a good bar tender - this place quickly became my neighborhood bar.

We were just passing by & wound up spending a few hours in this boss bar. Friendly place with good, fair priced drinks. We had a good time with everyone there.
I can barely remember this Place . But what I can remember is that the service was Absolutely phenomenal . The bartender make sure You are constantly filled up. They make sure they makes their rounds to address everyone. Its a big place , lots of room but it gets crowded. Bee sure to keep the isle clear or someone will gripe At ya.
This bar is awesome. Just stumbled on it and its now my new favorite place. One of the owners was tending bar - awesome guy - and the selection and ambiance is great.

Nothing special. It has cold beer and a projector. Its off the corner but close to the Barclays so its fine for a drink before an Islander game or concert, but not really much else worth going in for.

A locals bar...i like the atmosphere. Lots of choices to drink. They didnt have my favorite but its an odd choice-most places dont. If there is Food, we didnt have any. Bar tender was friendly and music was great.

North Pole definitely is a place to go these days. 1000 percent clean responsible and this translates into making you me and everyone feel comfortable. Good job. Seriously. Good job.___________________________________________to hundreds of places over my years. NOTHING... I mean ZERO compares to this bar. After work bam. Happy hours all the time. On a date bam you’ll get lucky. This is the example all other poser spots need to get through to their heads. Come here and you’ll see for yourself.
This place seems true to its calling. Barren inside space with low stools and tables make it sure to be quiet, empty, and great for regulars. The drink list is very underwhelming but it still manages to feel right.
Herring shot is so delicious. Awesome friendly bartenders.

RUN IF YOUR BLACK! Was here for a week visiting from Singapore thinking I would get some of the culture back from what I remembered growing up here in Brooklyn. Instead the night started out with a bartender that was only willing to play one type of music and cater to one type of crowd (Caucasians). It was very clear that we were not welcomed here after the bartender lied to us and said shes closing early because shes being watch by (Management). We were the only ones asked to leave while everyone (whites) enjoyed the rest of their drinks and partied the night away. I really never felt this way after leaving an establishment. Wow is this really the new Brooklyn. Smh 🤦🏽♀️

Nice place, nice bartender...but I m really not into TV sets in bars. I find TVs disturbing, it’s difficult to concentrate on the people you are there with and having gladiator run in the background is not culturally enriching either

I came here looking for Santa, he wasnt here and I was sad. But one of his elfs Krystian cheered me up with a beer and shot for only $5. Even though I didnt see Santa, all in all it was a great time.

2021-10-30Definitely give this classic Park Slope bar two thumbs up! If I had more thumbs baby up two bartenders are great drinks are inexpensive they do not have food but they have foosball and if youre there that stay open late come by I love to meet you :-)

2021-05-25Nice chill spot.. went there to meet up with some friends.. bartenders were super nice. Also, I saw a unicorn there - an Asian male bartender 😲. I personally have never seen an Asian male bartender..That was nice to see. Props
