I purchased my vehicle (Kia Sportage EX) back in August and Ive been very satisfied with its performance, look, style, bells & whistles!!! The deal was very fair and all that I learned about the way Kia stands for its vehicles, made me relax. Matt made the process very easy and pleasant. I called Northtown Kia looking for a K5 and they only had one in stock, so I set up an appointment quick in hopes that I can see it before it sells. When I got there, I met Charlie who had already brought the car upfront for me so it was ready to look at when I got there. I test drove the car, fell in love with the car, and bought it in the same day. Charlie was amazing, he was super nice and very helpful and helped me reach the price I was looking for. I walked into this dealer after perusing the inventory just days prior. I waited for a few moments for assistance and George helped to get me started me on my way by setting me up with a test drive on my nee 2022 Kia K5. After the test drive I was greeted by James, who was just as nice an encounter as the first gentleman. I came to this dealership with a plan and wanted to leave the owner of a new or like new vehicle. James was very friendly we conversed and shared details of what I was looking for and it wasn’t long after I sat down with him that he sold me my new car! Not only was James helpful so was John they were helpful in the process and I would recommend Northtown Kia to anyone!
I must say, this was my first car buying experience from a dealership and I am still gobsmacked by how easy it was!! I had just gone in on a Thursday to test drive a car and think about my buying options. I had no idea James Capuana would find me such a great car for a great deal. Kyle (forgive me I dont know his last name) was also a superstar, negotiating the best possible financing option for me. It must have been fate that day, as my old car simply rusted apart right there at the dealership. They took in my old ride (2004 Hyundai Elantra) and by that Saturday I was in my brand new (to me) 2019 Kia Soul. I cant recommend James and Kyle enough, theyre excellent at what they do!
Thanks to Paul Sciria my dream of having a 2022 Kia Carnival has come true. Our experience with Paul was simply amazing. He did everything he could to make sure we got what we wanted in our vehicle. I am very happy and pleased with my entire Northtown Kia experience. I ordered a 2022 Telluride over the phone with Simeon and 5 months later, it had arrived. Throughout the waiting period (which was communicated and I was well aware of with this vehicle and the market), my salesman Matt C kept me updated, helped me order parts closer to arrival date and made the entire process seamless. When it came time to financing, the process with John could not have been simpler. There were no games, tricks, or sneaky tactics like I have experienced in the past. Having traveled close to 8 hours for this car, it was well worth it and I wouldn’t hesitate making the trip again for my next vehicle.

I usually never have issues with North Town! But this time I went for my inspection and I had a slice in my tire that wouldnt pass inspection and had to purchase a new one (no big deal) I was all ready to check out and my mother called me for something and I told her what was going on and she said you have tire coverage she knew this because she was with me when I purchased my vehicle. I completely forgot and after 2 hours of being there I was ready to just pay and go! Once I told the service guy to look up my tire coverage he found it in SECONDS! Now I know I should of remembered I had it but I thought it was there job to look and see what type of warranty I have especially for a tire! I was about to pay $160 when I didnt need to....Thank you Mom!Do better on this Northtown

Buying a used car in this market is not a pleasant pill to swallow due to the outrageous amount used cars are selling for these days. Northtown Kia had a better price than any other Kia dealer from Albany to Long Island to Buffalo for the same model with the same options. Not a huge amount of frivolous fees, but they are there. Arrived at specified time for pickup and was out of there quickly in car dealer time. A few small items that should have been taken care during car cleaning and preparation were addressed after my inspection and the paperwork went easily. Matt Cappello was my sales rep and listened first and answered all my questions and was pleasant to deal with. Overall a good experience.

After a little bit of work to figure out where I wanted to go, I stopped into Northtown Kia and worked with Dave Bauman and Matt Cappello. Dave helped me find a car to fit my needs while turning in an existing lease. It only took a little bit of time in the showroom and a few exchanges during the week to get me set up. On the back end, Matt helped with the final sale and signing all the documents. He was able to make the purchase painless and I was out the door in an hour with my new car. I have always taken my Kia here for service, which is great! I recently had something happen to my 2013 Kia Forte in which I had to have the vehicle towed on a Sunday Afternoon. I received a call from Alex in Sales. He scheduled me an Appointment for Tuesday, picked me up at my home, and off we went to Northtown Kia. I told him that I loved the 2022 Kia Forte, and was interested in the Black Vehicle. If you are looking to Purchase or Lease a vehicle, ask for Alex. He will actually come and get you. I dont know any Salesman that will go out of their way. Also, Kyle the Finance Manager worked out the monthly payment that I wanted to pay. Northtown Kia Service is absolutely top notch. Azamat helped us with our new (like.. brand new, just off the truck new.) Sorrento plug-in hybrid lease. Initially we went in to replace my Sportage, but inventory was low (thanks, microchip shortage) so we were going to get on the order list when new stock came in.We drove around a newer model Sportage and it was just fine and dandy. I was curious about the Sorrentos however and Az mentioned that the first completely new batch came off the truck that day, and were super decked out. My girlfriend had an EV before and loved it, so it was a chance to get into another.Az was super upfront that the cost would be a little on the high side, but we were ok spending a bit more for an upgrade. He was very informative on our test drives and we talked a lot about video games, so we knew he was cool.The financing specialist and manager were also very nice and helpful. The dealership was pretty empty that day so we all got to spend some time chatting.All in all it was a great experience. The final monthly payment wasnt much more than my Sportage, and there were a (((lot))) of rebates.Thanks again to Azamat and the team!

I was so nervous to buy a new vehicle, but we needed a one and it couldn’t wait any more. Scheduling made it difficult to get out to the dealership from Springville with how the weather has been, I had an Altima. I worked with Alex, and his manager John, and Alex drove the Sorento I’d shown him from the site to my house to test drive I absolutely loved it. They went out of their way to accommodate my budget, had everything ready for me and the whole process was so fast, and the vehicle is absolutely beautiful. Just so you know Northtown is selling new cars above market price $5,000-10,000. Not all dealers are . I was going to Purchase EV6.They dont post the Market Adjustment till you are putting money down on the car. That amount I would plan a road trip to another dealer. The staff was friendly, but assured me all dealers are doing itUpdate to the response, you have lost my trust with the company , you did not post the Market Adjustment on the window as other dealers do, unfair not right

Everything here is more expensive and negotiating a fair price is a chore.Direct sales staff is great and friendly but unfortunately has been set up to fail by higher ups incompetence.Would not recommend unless there are not other options. Shopped multiple local dealerships for my vehicle. Northtown was by far the most welcoming, professional, and easy to work. Would highly recommend anyone in need of a vehicle save themselves the time of shopping other dealers and go straight to them.
First of all, it just took a lot of time. From the day I left my car to the day that I picked it up it was over three weeks. And in between I was called to pick up my car as they told me it was completed, only a day after it just gave me the same problem and I had to return.And first time I picked up my car, two of the three problems that I mentioned were not addressed. That I needed to tell them one more time.The waiting area is good they offer coffee and biscuits and there’s plenty of space. I’d like to give them credit for this. I found all the people working in the front desk kind and attentive. And also like to give credit for this as well.It was so difficult to call them and get somebody who knows about the vehicle and was able to give me an update. The waiting time was horrible.Would I take my vehicle there again? Probably not.Overall, I am not very pleased with the service.

I purchased a used 2020 Kia Soul certified car after trading in my used Ford Escape 2015 vehicle on June 15th. I mentioned to the salesman that I wasn’t interested in any extended warranties or extra dealership service fees. It was never mentioned during the signing. I was told the car automatically comes with a factory warranty of 10 years/100,000 warranty. Since it’s used I was told it would expire around 2030 or if 100,000 miles is reached. My fault for being so trusting and not looking closer at the pricing page. I looked over the financing paperwork a couple days later find out I was charged an additional $2,777 for a extended warranty thru a company called “Zurich” and was never told anything about it. I will be canceling the extended warranty asap and this situation has made me not want to deal with this dealership in the future.UPDATE: 7/7/2022!Went to the dealer and spoke the with finance manager who did my loan paperwork the first time. He apologized for the confusion and canceled the extended warranty. It was a great car buying experience the first time and the extended warranty situation was the only issue. The finance manager got me a great interest rate on my original loan. Thanks again for correcting the issue and being professional!

After looking into dealers I am so happy that I went with this dealership. It was my first time leasing let alone having a car payment. Great friendly staff and the complimentary shuttle made it so convenient to get my vehicle serviced and not have to wait in the waiting room for 6 hours. They took me home and came back to pick me up when my vehicle was done. Driver was super friendly and the service staff was amazing they took the time to explain everything with my vehicle and answered any questions I had.

Car salesman was a nice young man but the people above him making the final decisions on trades and deals are trying to steal your money on a trade and then they add a market adjustment fee on a new car lmao. I was given the car I wanted and 7500.00 more in my trade in Rochester. Shop around this place is not honest to deal with!

This is my second time purchasing a vehicle from Northtown Kia. I was disappointed in the detailing of the vehicle. Given that I bought the car in the winter, I would have thought they would have disclosed more of the blemishes on the car, or at least let me look it over once the car was cleared of snow. Buyer beware I guess. Like I said, I was disappointed. I guess I held them to a higher standard than other dealerships I have dealt with in the past.

We went to Northtown Kia again due to the lease being up in a few months. Mike helped us out again and made everything simple and easy. He was helpful in giving us the prices and information on all the cars we asked about and worked with us to get something that we wanted in our price range. He was great at explaining how the trade in process works and with getting the new vehicle. He showed us multiple cars in multiple colors so we could find the exact one that we wanted. When we picked one he made it easy to fill out the paperwork and get it to us. We went to pick it up a few days later (our preference) and we were in an out within 45 minutes. Mike and everyone at Kia is super helpful and their cars are affordable and reliable.
The facility was clean!! People were friendly but my attendant seemed spacey!! Confused!! My billl was exceptionally high when she told me the total and she seemed to not realize it until I brought it to her attention then had to go ask someone why found out I was double charged for an oil change and she didn’t notice just by looking at the bill. Asked for a shuttle. I was told they’d look into it considering they were running behind I’d be ther 1.5-2 hours instead of the estimated 1 hour. About 45 minutes in she came to tell me they were still trying to locate the courtesy shuttle. She’s get back to me, 30 minutes later she let me know that she was still looking for I for on the shuttle and would update me but my car would be done in about 15 minutes!! So my question is why bother with the shuttle at this point?!?!
Alvero is the best guy ever. He is the funniest guy and made the experience of getting a car very good. He Hooked us up with insane deals and helped out way after closing time.
I needed to get a slow tire leak repaired on my Kia Sportage. Northtown said they had no availability for a couple days. In order to get the tire fixed, Northtown told me to call Roadside assistance to remove the tire have them put on the spare. I would then have to bring in the tire to get repaired when they got a chance. Terrible customer service!

We had SUCH a wonderful experience at Northtown Kia with Yusuf. We were in the market for a Telluride specifically and had done research on the car and been to another dealership. The customer service was far superior than at West Herr Kia and they did not up our MSRP on the vehicle just because they were in demand. Yusuf was responsive, kind, and straightforward- he actually alerted us to the other dealerships upping the price just because. Another dealership we went to told us we could not test drive the Telluride and Yusuf not only let us test drive he had everything warmed up, ready and prepared when we came in with our 3 children. HIGHLY recommend this dealership and Yusuf specifically.

Purchased 2021 Kia Sportage the very next day my daughter tells me the wipers are squeaking and she looks and they were torn and worn how does this car Pass New York state inspection these people push these cars through they just about wash the car quickie detail with a spray not much care in delivering the car at all the people to work with sales people very nice nice people but to get a car that doesnt even Pass New York state inspection thats terrible business practice word of warning when purchasing from here watch everything they do they want a quick deal they want you in they want you out they want your money

I’ve been searching for new leases for both myself and my mom for a several months with no luck with any dealership. Adam reached out to me out via text of the blue last Tuesday asking if I was still in the market for a K5. To be honest I was hesitant to respond just because I was getting no where with anyone, but I’m so glad I did. Within 20 minutes we sealed a deal for me and my mom. He took care of everything, contacting our insurance company so when we came in today all we had to do was sign our life away lol He came out after and showed us as much as he could that was new (we were prior Optima owners so it was the same in some areas) helped set up our phones and explained some of the new safety features. Highly recommend talking to Adam if you’re looking for a quick, straight to the point deal. My mom was very pleased with him as well.
Ask for Charlie Laffin! We are so happy we went to see Charlie and his team at Northtown Kia! Charlie went above and beyond to help us purchase a beautiful Telluride. Even when we thought we were going to have to wait a few days longer to pick it up, Charlie and his team went out of their way to make sure we got to drive her home like originally planned. Was a hassle free experience. I worked with two different salesman and both were excellent. Answered all questions and were very honest.I took a star off because I bought an oil change package from Northtown for my Hyundai and it won’t transfer to my new Kia. I think this is a missed customer service opportunity for Northtown and really makes no sense.The missing star has returned! The dealership went above and beyond to make sure my oil change got transferred to their dealership. Its nice to experience great customer service, especially after the sale.
I’d give them 10 stars if I could 😊. I purchased a new vehicle from Northtown in December. It was a loooooong process but my salesman (Mike Maniscalco) was great. He was patient & walked me thru all the details & answered all my questions (trust me, there were a lot!). I can’t say enough about Mike & Ahmed - and I highly recommend them to anyone. Never felt pressured to buy - but they kept in regular contact to see where my head was in the buying process. Go buy a new car from them - you won’t be disappointed!!!

I have purchased several vehicles from Yusif over the years. He always finds me exactly what Im looking for- highly recommend. He is knowledgeable, helpful and makes the car purchasing experience fun and exciting.
Service was quick and the sales rep was super cool and friendly. They paid a more than reasonable amount for the car I sold them, and I just so happened to luck into the only Telluride they had in the lot. The whole process of selling and buying took only a few hours, and I didnt have to wait days for delivery of my new car. If I HAD to pick a negative of my experience it would be that I was given the wrong spare key. But having to drive back to the dealer to swap keys (they gave me the option of having someone come to me) wasnt a big deal, as it gave me another excuse to drive my new car.
Met with Sam (a friend) from Northtown Dodge, was looking at sedans, which she didnt have at her store.Started looking at Kias, so we met up a few days later over at Kia, test drove a few 2018s and wasnt really feeling it. Then Paul, a salesman at Kia, asked me to try out a 2019 Forte they had. I had reservations about buying a white car. This thing was perfect, and I immediately loved it.Siemon and John were both also super helpful in making sure everything went smoothly and got me into my 2019 Forte. I think the people at Northtown Kia have figured out that Customer Service brings people back. Our first Kia that we bought with Mike Manascalco was a great experience. Their service is second to none and they cater to you every step of the way. My last dealership made me feel that I was doing them a disservice by even being there. We recently purchased another Kia from Mike and as before was totally catered to buy them. Their sales are great their customer service is great and their follow up is great. Kudos to them!

2022-04-29My daughter was in dire need of a car ASAP. With the way the car market is now, finding a reliable car for a good price is almost impossible. We considered a used car, but there was very little available and they were so expensive. We decided to buy a new car but lower priced car inventory was extremely low. Luckily Northtown Kia happened to have 2 2022 Kia Rios that arrived just when we were looking. They weren’t going to last long so we snatched one up. We got a decent price for the present market Alvaro was our salesperson. He was great! He did the best he could to help us find a car. He was personable, honest and didn’t rush us to make a decision. He went over different options of purchasing a car such as buying a used car, leasing and buying a new car. He also was excellent at communicating and keeping me updated through texts. I highly recommend Northtown Kia and Alvaro as a sales person.

2022-02-01Usually buying a vehicle can be nerve wracking, but Northtown was patient with me and all my foolishness. The salesmen (Nick P and Matt C) as well as the sales managers took very good care of me and my needs. They took their time with me to make sure I was happy with my purchase. I felt welcome at Northtown. They were not the typical “aggressive” salesmen. I was so pleased with the attention they gave me that I purchased TWO cars on the same day. They took great care of any concerns I had and got me into 2 great vehicles. (One for me and one for my daughter.) I’ll definitely do business with them again and recommend anyone who is in the market for a new or used car to give Northtown a call.

2022-05-14We just bought a used Subaru Forester from Northtown Kia. We are from Rochester, but this is my second purchase from Northtown. We worked with Yusuf and had the best experience thanks to him! I hate car shopping, but he made it an easy and enjoyable process. No gimmicks, super transparent, and we left with a great deal. Can’t recommend him enough!
