Northwell Health-GoHealth Urgent Care in other cities:
Waited 2 hours before they opened to get a Covid test on 12/27. I was told as long as I waited in line, put my information into their tablet and then clicked the link and put more info in I would be seen that day. I called 3 times, every time I was told to wait for the call. The call never came. I still have not gotten a test.
Horrible receptionist! Came in at 7 pm and they refused to do COVID19 testing even after being recommended by a Northwell physician (my PCP). The guy was just a terrible human being who was more interested in getting out early rather than caring for patients. Also, there was only one person in the waiting room. Literally, there was no need for an appointment as stated on the website. I do not understand how these people enter the medical field. A huge disappointment.
Honestly you guys should just close down completely! I was there 1 hour before. Zero zero empathy for a sick pregnant woman! I was refused to be seen even after I explained I’m pregnant and I’m scared your staff is very rude I could have been told nicely I’m sorry we have reached our max capacity I was told to leave! I will never come here again! And I hope management looks into this because you are a medical facility you should have empathy for ppl.
Called the number posted and asked if they were still accepting names for the wait list. I was told yes and that it would be about 5 hours before the test was administered but they would text when it was time to come back. I specifically asked if I drove down there right now if they would still be taking names and the person on the phone said yes. I told them how long it would take for me to get there and which location I was getting to. When I got there I was told that they werent taking names any longer. When I explained that I just spoke with someone who told me to come down the woman at the front told me oh well that was the call center and they made a mistake. When I called the call center back and asked them why I was told they were still taking names I was told they were sorry for inconvenience but I was basically out of luck. If I hadnt called to ask first I wouldnt have cared if I got there and I was told no but I called and asked to save myself the trip. If that is how their front desk and call center communicate I dont hold out much hope for the quality of the doctors and other staff there.
What a mess! Unorganized foolishness. Such a waste of time. So frustrating. Waited 45 minutes to see a doctor and I had an appointment. They has no X-ray tech to check out my toe. So basically they couldn’t help. So will they bill me or my insurance company? Of course they will. So annoying.
This facility is run very poorly for covid testing. I stood onine for many hours; my name and information was taken i was told i would be called when it was my turn to be seen. I was never called; i reached out to the facility early the next morning, i indicated i was on the list from the day before i asked if i could walk in because i had not been called. I was told i had to wait on line again. Very unprofessional no order or organization. Do not use this health group. Waste of your time.
Refuse to write me a prescription told me it was just allergies and buy something over-the-counter she was wrong it turned into something worse I’ve been sick for seven days now worst place ever never go back again and still sick have to go see a new doctor so I have to spend more money that I shouldn’t have to worst place ever
DO NOT GO HERE. I got tested by them 2 weeks ago for COVID-19 and my test unfortunately came back positive. So I followed their directions on quarantining. After 10 days all my symptoms went away. I decided I wanted to get retested to make sure I didn’t have COVID anymore. They told me they don’t retest for COVID and they made up some trash excuse. I think they were lying because they just didn’t want to test me again because I previously tested positive so the whole staff looked scared. If you are in the medical field you should not be scared when it comes to dealing with someone’s health. Dealing with stuff like COVID is what you signed up for. They even gave me a letter to try and get me to go back to work potentially affecting everyone at my job. So after I left their building I threw the letter in the garbage and went to get tested somewhere else. I will not put anyone at my job at risk. The doctor was also a little rude in her delivery on telling me they don’t retest. They just want people to go back to work sick so they can affect more people and then they can make money off people’s insurance. The more sick people the more money they make. I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE.UPDATE: I beat covid
A definite 10! I came in, in such a fragile state and the staff was just wonderful and caring. I would especially like to commend Kimberly Wynn, I believe that was her name. You are lucky to have her representing Northwell. She is one of the kindest people I have met! She lifted me up when I was in a real down place! Thank you
This place is a ripoff I went with a boil on the side of my face. And the person who saw me for 2 minutes wasn’t even a doctor. And he said there was nothing he could do. But I should leave it let lt pop on it’s own.then they charge me $375.00. This is outrageous and out right a ripoff.
The Provider and the Staff were welcoming, easy to understand and the overall process was efficient and speedy. The directions provided were clear and the atmosphere overall was inviting. The Provider was knowledge and provided helpful responses to my questions. Would definitely return if similar circumstances arise in the future.
This should longer be considered an urgent care facility as if you do not have an appointment they will not even give you an estimate as to when you can be seen. I went in today, 5/5/2021, to have an injury taken care of and the woman at the reception area was extremely rude. Her only urgency was for me to not be there anymore.I have had other experiences at this location with the medical staff that has been very positive. Unfortunately, if you can’t make it past the front non waiting area, you will never have that positive experience.
The office was clean and the staff was friendly and professional. There was no wait to be sent to the examination room, however once I was in an examination room there was a significant 22 minute wait which I found was odd. No one came to check on me until 1 minute before she came in to examine me, she said Ill be right with you. The examination went fine and I was treated with care and concern.
I walked in and was greeted by the very friendly staff. I’m not a person who goes to the doctor or the ER unless I feel it’s serious. I saw the physicians assistant and she was very nice and made me feel very comfortable with everything. I came here because I previously went to a different urgent care and felt like I was just thrown away and they turned a quick profit off me, but not here. Cost half the money and the staff was twice as caring. No complaints at all. Thank you northwell health for helping trust people in the medical field again :)
The facility was super clean. I had a 1:30 appointment. I got a text reminder at 1:05. A room was available as soon as I got there. The staff was extremely friendly and informative. I went for a rapid Covid test bc I was exposed. They told me I can leave and they will call me with results which they did by the time I got home. I have gone here before when I was sick and just like this time was treated so nicely. I highly recommend.
Very professional ! As I had to have foot surgery done the next day. They did a rapid COVID-19 test and had the results in 20 minutes. Great Staff ! Your service was so great I schedule an appointment for my hubby to be COVID-19 tested as required by his employer on Sunday 2/7/21 .
I went into this urgent care on a Sunday feeling so very sick. I was impressed with the ultra modern kiosk check in process; quick, confidential, and easy. I received Excellent care by the nurse practitioner. She was friendly, caring and gentle. Excellent bedside manner! 100% accurate diagnosis. I appreciate this entire team! I will not go to any other urgent care in the future. My experience there was excellent!
This Go Health as well as others have no regard for the elderly community as well as customer service. How do you expect someone that is not tech savvy or elderly the ability and understanding to go on their website and create virtual appointments? When there is issues with their website and you walk in for assistance the staff is very hands-off and does nothing to take the initiative and help you. They tell you to just go online we cant take you here. Thats strange because I just came from Rockville Centres Go Health and the lady was able to check for appointments there. As far as calling in good luck getting someone to answer. My mother got a test one week ago and still no results and cant get in contact! At this time of the year where we would like to spend time with family and no one is around to help. Whats more rude is staff provided my Mother-in-law who is in her 80s a card with a number to call with any issues and it was the same number that gets you no where. How disrespectful and lack of class by this staff member to provide information that leads to yet another dead end.Its a terrible situation if an elderly person has to go to the facility to find out what is going on.Places are not very sanitized they also didnt have any hand sanitizer and they dont clean doors or area between visits. Makes me wonder why they staff people here if they just stare a computer screen and just plugin Virtual Appointments.I setup my mothers online portal and no results since Dec 23rd is a joke for todays standards. I myself had to go to another urgent care and results took 2 or 3 days. These Urgent Cares need a complete overhaul and theyll be expecting a letter shortly that will go directly to administration.
On 02/20/21 I visited the healthcare center located at 683 Sunrise Highway Lynbrook NY 11563. I went in for a covid test and was told my insurance did not cover it and so had to pay $75 dollars out of pocket, which I did.The next day I called up my insurance to find out how they could possibly not cover covid tests when even people without insurance are getting the test done for free everywhere. I wasnt surprised when my insurance told me that they absolutely cover all covid tests and were confused as to why the healthcare told me they did not. I was told to call the healthcare center and let them know so that they could clear up this mess, which I did...4 times already. Each time I have called the healthcare center I speak to someone new who has no idea what I am talking about. Each time they take care of it and tell me I should be reimbursed in about 2 weeks as soon as my insurance approves it, which they already have. Its been almost 2 months now which is beyond ridiculous; yet each time I call back to find out the status of the refund only to hear the same story over and over again about how they dont see any reimbursement notes on file but will get to it now.
I have visited Northwell Go Health Urgent Care - the Lynbrook location in Phillips Plaza a few times now for covid testing. I cant say enough good things about the staff there! They are the most professional, kind and patient individuals. I was there recently on Christmas Eve and even though the place was busy they took time to explain the process, and answer my questions patiently. The staff at this location have my utmost respect and admiration.
The staff was wonderful & very helpful. My granddaughter hates needles & the RN was very patient with her, telling her each step she was taking. (Me, Im old school. Just say ouch, youll be fine.) Thank you very much for your time. I took her to the GoHealth Hewlett Pediatric Urgent Care, not Lynbrook.
I went to urgent care five minutes before they were to close. They took very good care of me & not one of them made me feel like it was too late to be seen.Everyone that worked there were so caring & professional. I highly recommend this facility.Im so glad that there are places like this that are available to patients in need for the community. Thanks again 😊
The staff was very friendly & kind, especially knowing how nervous I was. My wait time was no more then 10 min. Everything was explained to me before being seen & treated . I highly recommend the lynbrook facility ,hands down you were all wonderful , thank you, & stay safe !
I had a very good experience with this facility. Staff was very friendly and caring. The nurse who treated me was honest about my condition and recommended that I go straight to the hospital because she felt I needed a more precise medical perspective that an Xray just wouldnt provide. I was annoyed because I didnt want to deal with the hospital wait. However, she was right. I did go to the hospital and found out after getting a Kat scan, that I had a sprained neck. Thanks for caring. I will highly recommend you to others looking for a safe and reputable alternative than sitting for hours in the ER if you dont have to. But if they say you need to...go!
I didnt have an appointment I went there Tuesday for a COVID clearance my surgery was today Thursday and they were very helpful and I didnt have to wait too long thank you . I will 100% will be returning and would love to get our family Covid vaccine when they are available again at this location.
Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience with this place. I have to travel to ATL due to a death and was trying to get a rapid COVID test. I have been given wrong information regarding the process twice via phone, before finally getting correct information on the 3rd try that I had to schedule a virtual appointment first. I scheduled the virtual appointment, was granted permission to get the rapid test. Was told someone would call me to schedule and now it’s been 24 hours since and no call. Apparently the virtual and in facility teams do not connect or communicate and now I am left with no answers, no appointment and an inability to get test results before traveling. I am trying to be a good human and be responsible for those I will encounter and stay with. Very frustrating!
The staff was amazing. I was seen right away. The pa Ingrid had hands of an angel when she stitched my knee. I was so nervous in the beginning but she was able to calm me down and explained everything that she was doing. I felt so comfortable knowing that I had someone who was extremely warm hearted and caring to care for me❤️ I will definitely recommend everyone to come to this urgent care.
Upon arrival all health care workers were sitting on their phones. The person who registered me was an actual RN, who didn’t bothered to make eye contact or be engaged with me as a patient. She didn’t want to be bother with any questions in regards to insurance coverage and recommended testing. The lack of work ethic left me speechless. The person who took my vitals was the tech who was drinking coffee chilling behind the registrar which in any health care environment is not acceptable, it violates patient’s safety.I went there feeling very sick. I am very disappointed of the lack of care I received on this place. I understand the NP tried his best to communicate this point of view, but as a patient I felt like I was not listened to, and I was not taken seriously. Very disappointed with Northwell as a health care system. I won’t return to this place. I rather make the trip into city and receive appropriate care, care that is patient centered, compassionate and congruent . I would not recommend this place to anyone
The staff and doctors are great. They helped me feel better. I was very please with everything. If your sick don’t just go to any urgent care go here. They are very thorough with there exam and their diagnosis! The dr and staff are professional and friendly. I was very pleased I would refer my friends and family to come here.
I was very impressed with how efficient the whole visit was, from being able to check-in online and hold my place in line to a cashless check-out. This urgent care is a TRICARE preferred clinic, so I was able to provide all my info online while on my way to the urgent care clinic (5 min) ride. This made my arrival seamless. Upon arrival I was seen right away, they already had my info, so they only needed to verify my insurance and setup my pharmacy for me. The front desk clerks were amazing, they contacted TRICARE and set me up with the closest pharmacy on my way home to fill my prescriptions. Once I was done with the Doc I was expecting to wait to check-out, I came out and stalled for a sec. they looked at me, smiled and said you’re all set. Your prescriptions have already been sent to your pharmacy, you don’t need to pay anything. This is the way of the future, simply seamless and excellent customer service!
I NEVER post reviews but the women at the front counter was genuinely the rudest person I’ve ever met. Unlike most “medical professionals” she almost made it seem like she didn’t wanna see me rather then being HELPFULL. Ended up leaving and going to silver star urgent care in Lawrence. 10/10 and does COVID rapid tests with NO problem!
I had passed out early in the morning and was having trouble taking a deep breath. I felt I needed an X-ray to rule out a cracked rib or something else. I made an appointment on line and was taken moments after I arrived. Staff were friendly, thorough, and professional. They did take an x-rayand no breaks. They also had a radiologist read it later in the day and called me with his report. Thanks to all the staff.
Woman at the front is extremely rude they called me for results and sent me a letter when I called asking to speak to someone about the results she refused to let me speak to someone kept making all sorts of excuses and then said someone will call me back its been almost a week no call back. they make you sign a paper that if you die you cannot sue them I signed because I knew I did not need the emergency room and could have my symptoms addressed with outpatient testing but when this lady refuses to connect you for your results well I guess its all a game she should not work in patient care she has no manners at all.
The worst place Ive ever been, the doctor who treated me unprofessionally. I went because my ear ached, he asked me do you have pain? My obvious answer was yes of course, and he says bad for you, I was like ok. He did not check me well and the only thing he said to me you have a lot of wax with an unpleasant face. He did a wash which left me worse because at midnight I had to go to the emergency room because of the pain so horrible I had and obviously I had an infection. And I also want to add that the very bad service staff starting with the receptionist who was with headphones watching videos, which I do not care what he was doing, but did not take the time to verify my information or ask me if I needed anything. I do not recommend this place.
The level of care was like no other. The Medical Asst. was awesome, caring ane very professional. I was from out of town and was having problems with my syatic nerve he made everything easy for me. The care he showed everyone while I was there is one of the best I have experience. What made this place great was that he made me feel welcome as soon as I walked in. Thumbs up to the P.A that treated me as well, too both of them thanks for a job well done.
Mr. Joe Ida, NP was amazing! After testing positive for Covid, I had really bad ear aches and was afraid they may have been infected. Most urgent cares did not want me to come in due to my positive results and only offered a televisit. Mr. Ida, on the other hand, offered to see me and was able to prescribe some ear meds which has caused a great deal of relief. He was truly great! Thank goodness for Northwell!!
I absolutely prefer Northwell Urgent Care over City MD due to how organized, clean and professional they are. The only reason I am rating my experience a 3/5 was because of the MA that I had taking care of me. I truly wish I remembered his name but he does not belong at this location nor in healthcare because not only does he lack compassion but is extremely unprofessional. For starters, as a patient regardless of the reason that brings you you, you are vulnerable and sometimes even embarrassed to explain your situation. I felt extremely uncomfortable speaking because I felt judged the entire time I was there by him. I explain that I had a UTI but unfortunately did not finish my medication (yes, i understand the risks of this). I had pain after not finishing the meds so I came in just to get some testing done to make sure I was fine since my PCP is booked up. He asks me what I had taken but I could not remember so he gets upset and proceeds to say “you were prescribed medication and you can’t even remember what you took?”. I then ask him to name a couple of medications and I finally remembered that it was Cipro.Secondly, I was seen by the PA Helena, a very sweet woman, and she had asked me if wanted a BV/Yeast swab. I said yes and the MA comes back in the room to prepare the self-swab for me. He tells me that the swab will be checking for a yeast infection. I then ask him isn’t the swab supposed to check for both (yeast and BV) and he then tells me that it only checks for yeast because BV causes yeast and said that yeast is a bacteria. All of that information was INCORRECT! Not only as a woman but as a nursing student you know that yeast is fungus and BV is bacteria. And they are two completely different infections. I did not correct him because that is not my job but instead of giving wrong information to patients, don’t explain if you aren’t 100% sure or ask the PA that was around.Overall, if I hadn’t had him as my MA I would’ve rated my experience a 5/5!
One was SO very nice and helpful. I just want to come and show the doctor how much the meds he prescribed are working so good.(that was a past visit)This recent visit was somewhat ok. I went for a covid test. It was painless and quick. Now when i needed to get the results for my job that was painful, hard and long. On the website/portal the only option is to print it out. I just needed to email to my job ASAP. I dont hv a printer anymore. I had to go to the urgent care to get my hard copy as per phone convo from the urgent care rep. I got hard copy but they were not able to send it to my email. Right there in urgent care center. That was very inconvenient. I had to send it by screenshot to my administration. Very unprofessional. Everyone does not hv convenient options. I hope when they read this that they will give more options to get access to your results ASAP.
I called several times and they were always so helpful, I am a senior citizen would not much experience and computers and every time I called they really really help me. My daughter and I were exposed and we got tested, my daughter lives in a group home and I brought her home she is mentally challenged and they really really were very kind and understanding towards her. I appreciate that very much thank you
Unfortunately I had to come here several times because 3 out of 4 of us got sick. The facility was very clean and up to date. We were in and out of there pretty quickly. What I appreciated the most was that the doctor recommended an all natural cough syrup for my little one. Its nice to see a doctor try to go the natural route before writing a prescription drug.
I have been there several times over the past few years. Havent had a bad experience even once. Very warm, understanding , and helpful front staff. Nurse and PA show competence in medical proffession. Always appropriately attented to and thoroughly examined with proper diagnosis and how to care for it. If when needed , correct medication given. A true thumbs up!!
Northwell Health talking about integrity and ethics? What a joke. Their Urgent Care Clinic are a bad joke and are only a Cash generating side business for the organizaton. Because my Primary Care Physician is very busy (because he is good) and sometimes you cant get an appointment right away, I went twice to Northwell Health Urgent Care in Lynbrook, both visits within a couple of weeks of each other, to be checked out and find a solution to a bad cold I have had for about 2 months. I was never seen by a Doctor (M.D., that is). In fact, I was only seen by a Physicians Assistant, who prescribed some antibiotics, and nothing else. My Insurance Company (Empire Blue Cross/Blue Shield) was charged $375.00 for the 15 minute visit, which did not get me better. A couple of weeks later, I went back, same story, same cost to my insurance Company, different antibiotics, which did not work either. Despite the fact that my plan had no copay for the visit, on both occasions they tried to get a $65.00 copay out of me. I did some digging and complained with their Compliance Department, which to my dismay and disppointment advised me their business model is to only have these Centers staffed by Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners. No M.D.s on staff, whatsoever. My understanding is that these Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners can only treat patients, provided they are under the direct supervision of a Physician. Not so, according to their Compliance officer.Does this mean that anyone can set up shop and treat patients, as long as they have a phone to consult with a Physician? In my opinion, that is NOT DIRECT SUPERVISION and it is completely unethical and lacks any integrity, specially when you are dealing with an Urgent Care facility. In my humble opinion, these Clinics are not set up for giving proper medical care; otherwise, they would be properly staffed. I will never go there again. These Centers were designed to milk the Insurance Industry and not for any other reason. $750.00 later, I had no relief and did not get any better Unbelievable, I learned the hard way, I will never go back. When LIJ was LIJ, it was good. I was operated 3 times at LIJ, Lake Success (cardiac angiograms) and they took good care of me. Ever since Norhwell Hell got involved with LIJ,, their priorities and else changed. Profit and greed is their new thing, not proper Patient care. Needless to say, I hate medical institutions. They are full of poop, up to the brim. I wish the AMA would investigate them for medical fraud. these words are my opinion, as I am not happy with the improper care I received, which is completely disproportional to the amount my Insurance Company was billed and milked. It would have been far better for me to go to any drugstore, buy Tylenol and not waste my time with Northwell Hell. Patient beware, specially if you are old like I am (71 in another month). You might not come alive out of an experience like I had. Had I been treated by a real Doctor, what would they have charged for the visit? $1,500.00 ? This is ridiculous and unacceptable, in this day and age. This business model must have been created by a greedy whack job, whose priority was never Patient care, but fast money.
Wait time very long. Was given under 2 minutes of viewing, told Ill recover likely in a few days but to come back if I dont get better. I did get better but not before a $400 bill for that two minutes of care. Absolutely insanity. Never go to this place if your deductible is not done.
Ive been there a few times for my daughter and they were professional and prompt. However, when the office kept using the term your provider is it caused me to pay attention and see that the treater, however professional, was not a medical doctor but a PA. No offense to the latter, but I found that less than transparent from the office. But I would not hesitate in returning.
It was my first visit to an urgent care facility, and everyone there was courteous, professional and friendly; I was in and out in short order; I was not rushed, nor did I have to wait for anyone; I was made aware of my test results quickly.I also appreciated the follow-up a few days later.
I visited Northwell Urgent Care on sunrise highway in Lynbrook several times over the past year. Each time, the staff has been professional, courteous and caring and the diagnosis has been spot on. They do their best to keep waiting time to a minimum. The office is always spotless. I highly recommend using this facility.
My mother waited over 2 hours just to treat a stye. She was told repeatedly “30 mins” 4 times in a row. They charge your credit card immediately so you can’t even leave. If you are so busy and have emergencies, then refer the waiting patients to other facilities. Surprised by this unpleasant visit being that Northwell boasts a great reputation for patient care. Will continue to go to City MD in RVC from now on.
Today we came to this site for covid testing .It showed online no appointments or referral required . However , it is not true ! There were 2 people sitting on the opposite benches in the waiting room.We asked if can be tested for covid 19, and the answers was “No, if you didn’t make apts. online .We said we had troubles with booking it , and , please , allow us to be tested “. The answer was “no”.It happened today , December 6th 2020.
I would give them zero stars if i could!!! They were SO rude and disrespectful to me!! My blood pressure is at stroke levels and they wouldn’t listen to me!!! Then told me they were too busy anyway and i should go to the ER!! Horrible service! I’m not going to stop writing letters until this place is shut down!!! Horrible, horrible HORRIBLE!!!!
I have appt tomorrow , I broke my ribs last week went 2 my MDS HOSPITAL IN VALLEY STREAM . I SIGHEND MY SELF OUT DUE 2 VERY SICK PEOPLE IN THE ER . MY BLOOD WORK CAME BACK NOT NORMAL SAYING SOMTHING IS WRONG WITH MY HEART & MY MD WIFE IS A NURSE GAVE ME APPT 4 NEXT FRIDAY. I WILL BE THERE TOMMOROW DUE TO THE FACT I CALLED MY SOCIAL WORKER SHE AGREES WITH ME NEXT WEEK IS UNEXCEPTALE . THE OPERETER I SPOKE 2 NOT A CLUE 😨I WILL SEE YOU TOMMOROW AT 2:15 PM , I HOPE IT GOES BETTER & I HAVE MY PAPERS FROM FRANKLIN NORTHWELL .
I received prompt and thorough care at Go Health- Lynbrook! I made an appt for 8:15, Sat morning, and was seen on time. The office and exam rooms are clean and modern; in addition the staff are professional, personable and have great follow-through. I would definitely drive the 15-20 mins again to be treated at this urgent care facility. The u.c. centers in my own neighborhood grossly pale in comparison.
Ive already given a couple of recommendations. However the BIGGEST ISSUE is that you say youre going to follow up with me a phone call due to an important issue and YOU DONT, thats bad service. Still waiting PHONE CALL in which its too late because I am now in the hospital anyway.
Dr Ida & staff are awesome the waiting time was minimal, the kiosk sign in was very easy to absorb, the receptionist was extremely helpful, Kim administered a BP test right away & Dr Ida diagnosed the issue hes most knowledgeable and has a great personality as well.Thank You All
My husband I went went after being rear-ended by a car. We just wanted to be looked at. The staff was very helpful and kind. The facility was clean. It was a good experience. I hope to not to have to go back, but if I (or anyone in my family) need to then I wont hesitate to go again.
I’ve been there several times for my son and my daughter. This last experience there was awful. It was Easter Sunday morning and my daughter woke up with pain in her ears and a sore throat. I was able to sign her in for an 8 am appointment, which is a great feature. When I got there they took me right away, checked her ears and swabbed her throat. I was told her had fluid in her ears which is not an ear infection but causes by ear nose and throat all connected. Her step test came back negative but the PA did say she had tonsillitis. I was prescribed augmentum for her for 10 days, twice a day... she said if the strep culture from lab comes back positive this antibiotic will cure it. Ok I said and were off to pharmacy. Get to pharmacy and the pharmacist asks me “ did theyTell you a dosage there because it says use as directed”. No! She never told me a dosage !! They also called in a children’s Benadryl and a nasal spray which pharmacist said I didn’t need. So now I had to call over to the urgent care and get the correct dosage. She never mentioned anything about the other two she called in.Mind you I never saw a doctor only a PA and a nurse and to be quite honest with you, she had no tag that even said her title of PA.Already annoyed ... on Tuesday I get a call from the office saying the strep came back negative from lab so stop the medication immediately. Wait?! Didn’t you tell me she had tonsillitis?! Why would I stop medication?! The girl had no idea, she told me she’s simply reading notesFrom a screen and it says to stop of strep test comes back negative. The rapid test was negative and I understand sometimes the lab test pick up positive. But why am I being told toStop medication if she was diagnosed with tonsillitis?? Still no answer. She said she would have someone call me. Now It’s Sunday, aWeek later and no one has reached out to me. I continued the medication. When I was there last Sunday on Easter morning, there was no mention of stopping medication. There was no mention of dosage. There was no mention of nasal spray and Benadryl being called into pharmacy. There was no site of a doctor. There was no return call regarding whether or not to stop meds! I’m extremely disappointed and lesson learned not to bring children to an urgent care. I’ll take the ride next time to my Regular pediatrician
Im 61 yr.old and disabled went there Feb 8 2021 at 8:15 am needing asthma treatment and was told I needed an appointment and refused ,, was told they are only doing Covid Testing , when I complained the receptionist told me I was being rude and Called Lynbrook Police, saw a lady come in limping and they told her the same , later found out they have every time slot online in 15 minute slots that are booked up for Covid tests that they charge the U.S.Goverment up to 800 dollars per test. Its being paid for under the Covid Cares Act, they figure why see patients that are injured or sick that their insurance only pays 100 to 200 , when tbey can get 800 for a Covid test and charge 800 for the time it would take to see a sick or injured person , they just tell them to go to Hospital E.R., I am writting every State Representative and Regulatory Agency reguarding this illegal and highly unethical practice
I needed to be examined after a face first fall on concrete sidewalk on the weekend and it was easy to schedule an appointment online. When I arrived a staff of 3 professionals attended. One took information, another xrayed my left wrist which broke my fall and the Nurze Practioner, PHD and professor interpreted the xray and strongly urged a catscan which was scheduled for the next day.
Yes Ive been here twice once for my husband and one for myself I would so go here before any emergency room they let me know how long I will actually be there when I registered in very very clean very very nice people very thorough I am really appreciated the check up call and its so quick
[if it were possible to HAVE given NO star I WOULD ]-IDA JOSEPH ; the single most horrendous Medical Practioner known to man . I went in today to receive some sort of assistance in soothing my influenza . Being that I have been here before and was treated AMAZINGLY this was worth a review . He DISMISSED how I feel because discrediting BLACK WOMEN is a normal occurance in the medical field (been there / beta male mentality) . Suggesting Tylenol and REST isnt what I WAITED 40 minutes for or what he GRADUATED MED SCHOOL for ...
So the only way for me to get my lab results is to sign in using your app under my wifes name and email address:is this because she is the primary on the account? What if I dont want to immediately share my lab results with my wife?So I have no privacy, or any protection under HIPPA?Why cant you email, text or call me directly with that results? Why am I not able to get my results?
Unfortunately I used this facility several times never has a problem actually like the staff etc... This last time the Dr was curt when I decided my symptoms told me to get a PCP and basically blew me off.... Several days later as my condition worsen I was diagnosed with pneumonia.... .needless to say that say I am upset, doctors lack of regard for my symptoms could have had serious consequences for me

2022-01-28The NP I saw was so comforting and truly knowledgeable about both medicine and anxiety/mental health. Hands down, one of the best practitioners Ive ever seen. Kind, attuned to my needs and very reassuring. Its very rare Ive met practitioners who understand the role anxiety plays in medicine. I left feeling much better. The receptionist was also very thorough and kind.

2022-04-28I had an appointment and was completely ignored. Walk in apparently go before appointments according to the only receptionist in front desk. I wasnt even greeted when i came in everyone else was that came in after me. Northwell is made for this clearly she isnt. I will never go back. Will find another urgent care to go to. 2 thumbs down. She sucks.

2022-06-30I went there for a Covid test and everything went relatively fine until then. What happened later was very unprofessional: the doctor called after I got the positive test and asked me if I need paxlovid. Two days later, medication wasn’t filled since there was a error in prescription and need correction and the pharmacy had contacted the center but haven’t gotten a reply. So, I called the Urgent care center, Someone answered and said the doctor isnt there. I said since this establishment works as team someone should do the needful because the patients should not kept waiting, the phone operator said “please hold for a moment “ and I waited. 5 mins , 10 mins and still on hold. I decided to go to the location personally since it was a mile away, because, something felt not right. When I got there I asked who’s responsible for answering calls? The receptionist said she didnt know who answered the call and I could see with my own eyes her phone has a red light still blinking of a call on hold - it was 28 mins passed after I was put on hold. She scurried to the back and never came back to face me. Maybe guilty of Putting my call on hold purposely. Another doctor intervened to correct the prescription error and ignored about the phone call complaint. And I was still on the call on hold - all this time. As a center of urgent care I find this behavior abhorrent, unprofessional and uncaring.

2022-06-01Wait time on a Saturday evening was less than 45 minutes.Staff was very professional and friendly, my co-workers always have great things to say about this site in Lynbrook. We work around the corner at Orlin and Cohen. They are absolutely correct.Happy to know that I was taken in as a true emergency and not as one of those patients that are there to testing for travel reasons and complaining due to waiting times. My asthma was so bad I needed a dose of nebulizer treatment. While there I was found with 105 degree fever which I didnt know I had. They tested me for the flu and covid-19 for precautionary measures.Staff went above and beyond, thank you for your hard work.

2022-06-02Very poor customer service! Very y understanding and rigid from desk lady on June 1,2022 7:00pm. She refused unapologetically to help schedule an urgently needed PCR test. Needed for Friday morning, but bcos I was available during the day I had to come in the evening. She turned me out with concern for how I felt. Too bad. Meanwhile another Urgent care took care of the needed health requirement 45minutes later b4 ur indicated closing time of 8:00pm. Better service elsewhere! Pls learn to be helpful to customers!!! Michael.

2021-12-17I was there yesterday and the first impression was poor. The person at the front desk was not friendly at all. Pointed to monitor to sign in and was told it was a five hour wait. You could tell she was not happy to be there. Btw I tested positive. I told my son to go there just a little while ago since he was exposed to me and not feeling well. She treated him very poorly. He went in sweats pants and a hoodie again because he has not been feeling well and she made him feel less than a person. I know the wait is long but she wouldn’t even give him the option of setting up an appointment. The place was completely empty. I strongly feel it was because we are Hispanic. I have always used Northwell but this facility definitely does not have the same customer/patient service model as the rest of the Northwell family. I had gone there about a year and although it was a different person it was the same poor treatment. Northwell needs to do something about this

2022-07-02One of the worst urgent care, they really dont care about you, specially the front dest staff is very rude and dont want to give you an appointment but to ask to wait for 2 hrs when there is no one in the waiting room. I dont know whats going on with this office, something is not right. Northwell health need to investigate the the way they are running the practice in this office.
