Northwell Health-GoHealth Urgent Care in other cities:
The staff here is very nice and accommodating. My 3 year old needed to be Covid tested for school because she had a cold. I was very nervous because my daughter gets very nervous when it comes to flu/strep swabs. This was her first covid test and the nurse made it a seamless experience! My daughter did not even flinch during the swab, it was done very gently. The doctor who came in after was also very kind. It was an overall great experience.
I came here for a rapid Covid test, and although they dont take walk-ins ::you have to make an appointment, which I made the day before:: it was still a pretty quick and easy process. I made an appointment the night before for 1:45pm the next day, and right after that, I got an email with a link to fill out all of the paperwork and insurance info, etc. The next day I arrived at 1:45 and was seen within the next 5 minutes; once inside the room, the actual test only took about 5 minutes. Unbeknownst to me, the device thats normally supposed to be stuck about 6 inches up your nose during all of the rapid Covid tests Ive seen online, was much less intrusive at this place. It only had to go in about an inch or 2, once on each side. After that, I waited outside for about 15 minutes, and when I came back, my paperwork showing my negative test result was already printed out and ready.I cant fault the location for not accepting walk-ins, because as of the time I made the appt, I actually had no idea that only certain places like hospitals accepted walk-ins with no appointment, and most urgent care centers required an appointment.
This place is awesome. I usually go to the urgent care in Eltingville but I decided to give this one a try. On August 24th 2021 I went in due to having a small gash right behind my right ear. They took me in within 15 minutes and helped me out. No pain or anything after putting glue on it. 10 out of 10 for me!
Very Unprofessional. I called to see if they would take my husband for a X-ray of his shoulder, the woman at the front desk was completely rude when i first called. I never told her we were outside all i said was can i make a appointment. She sends a link for paper work. Then calls 2 minutes later and my husband could not hear her so he called back, when he called back she said oh well i called you to come in you didn’t answer in such a rude way. My husband said but I’m not there yet i just wanted to see what time i would be seen. When i tell you the attitude we got from this woman was disgusting and unprofessional. I do not recommend going here unless you want to be treated like a complete moron from the front desk woman.
An employee here began spewing his bias personal opinion towards me while I was in the lobby waiting area for my Covid test, that EVERYONE NEEDS to get vaccinated and became argumentative with me about it. I defended my personal position and beliefs, probably to his surprise. This situation was completely unprofessional, uncalled for, and made me feel singled out and marginalized by him, and the entire Northwell Company. I asked to speak with a manager the next day and no one has called me back yet.
We have been going here for a while. I would like to say that prior to my more recent experiences, this review would have been 5 stars. The Dr’s here are typically very good & attentive. The go out of there way to answer all questions & even provide additional information after a diagnosis. We did have a few visits were the staff was a little short. However the last couple of visits were back to the same excellent service we have become accustomed to.. I would recommend them highly. They are accommodating, take walk ins & built an excellent report with my daughters. My oldest daughter refers to them as her freinds & I think that speaks volumes for a place that most children hate to visit. I guess the few bad experiences could be chalked up to a bad day. All in all the good far outweighed the bad..
Decided to try here a couple of months ago when I was miserably ill, and could not get an appointment with my primary care doctor right away. Very happy I made the decision to go here! I did not have to wait 3 hours to see a medical professional, as a matter of fact, I only waited about 10 minutes. The front end staff were thorough and professional. The PA was excellent. She took the time to listen to my concerns, obtain a proper medical history, examine me, and provide me with the appropriate antibiotics. Highly recommend!
I went into urgent center on Greaves ave Staten Island And was told their would be a long wait because they had a lot of customers getting Covid test. Here I’m sick thinking I could see a doctor and start road to recovery and told I would have to wait while they give Covid tests. Doesn’t make much sense to me. Went to urgent center on amboy rd s.i. After I was told their would be a ten minute wait to see a doctor. They instructed me to sign up on line for appointment. Witch I did. When I arrived st site I was told that their would be s long wait because there was a lot of people in front of me. Your company is horrible and I will tell my family and friends how disgusting and horrible you practice is. You have some nerve to give an elective test in front of someone who comes in sick. What is this world coming to. I will never use northwell urgent center ever again.
I had an opportunity to use your Go Healthcare Urgent Care facility on Monday, Aug 1st. What a wonderful experience. The convenience, the cleanliness, and cheerfulness of your staff was so welcome especially when I was feeling so sick. I was greeted by Nicole. She took all my information and did the triage, all the while with a smile and listening to what I was telling her. She explained each step in the process and handed me off then to Nicole the PA. Another great employee, with an awesome attitude. She asked pointed questions, listened and examined me, then explained what was happening to me, like why my ears hurt or why my sinuses were killing me! Also with a smile and positive attitude. And she didnt hover over me, she sat down at my eye level to talk to me. I will recommend your office to every one I know, I just wish my own Doctors staff could come here for lessons on how to treat people. Great care, great staff, great job!
Pa is horrible and rude refused to see me because I refused to take a covid test though showing no symptoms of covid what so ever. Place needs to start using real docotors . But like everything else when it’s taken over by a big corporation turns to garbage. Starting to feel like I’m living in China instead of the USA.That’s the problem was refused service because I refused to take an unnecessary covid exam. What happened to a doctor having to see a patient, since when can they refuse service. It is unethical and she was a rude person,
First impression was good, all clean and looks new, but very bad experience. First no antibiotics when we needed them, doctor said I have allergy when I had flu. A year later my wife got letter that they will send unpaid balance to collection if not paid in 10 days. No other bills before. Unfortunately we opened letter too late, they sent her in collection for 15 dollars copay. The worst is that this place always collects copay before the exam. So don’t take chances with these guys, go to ER, just advice.
Medical assistants were nasty and rude and laughed at my concerns. The physician on call Marie was not helpful. Would not go back. Unprofessional and not compassionate. I will go to advantage care where I have to wait up to 3 hours but at least they are nice and dont dismiss your concerns and laugh at nervous patients. Also charged me an unreasonable fee claiming my insurance didnt cover the visit. Waste of time and money and problem was not resolved
Do not go to this site.I am a physician at the Northwell SIUH site and I called for an appointment for my brother and was completely disrespected by the employee picking up the phone, Mr. Adam Pereis Sultan. This man-child tried to mock me, doubted that I was a physician, and had the audacity to mock my specialty. He should be fired immediately. If he remains at this site it is a reflection of weak management and reflects such on all Northwell GoHealth Urgent Care sites.
Terrible service! If you swipe your debit card for your copay they save the number to bill you for the rest of the appointment. The girl at the desk only said that i was signing for my medical records. I had called the customer service number on the bottom of the email which the rep told me they saved my card info for auto pay for the rest of the visit. Make sure you bring cash if you go to this terrible urgent care.
I recently visited this urgent care to ask if they accepted my insurance for an x-ray that I needed to be done. The receptionist at the front desk (who I later learned was the RT) successfully and politely answered all of my questions regarding this-- vibrant personality (and hair!) She was very helpful and I would definitely recommend this urgent care to others!
Firstly I want to start off with the bad or should I say ugly , I just came back from Miami and started feelings symptoms a day later , a day from there I went to this urgent care center and “mariom” the PA came in to see me. She walks in and says “your vitals are perfect what could possibly be wrong with you “ which then I explained my symptoms , she checked ears and throat and without hesitation said it was an upper respitory infection but seems not to understand how to apply those studies to people. She looks like a Book worm but sounds like a computer, no emotion , no compassion , blank eye contact but in any event she said it does not require antibiotcs (again this is a bactierial infection) told me if Symtoms get worse come in 6 days later and let her know. She sent promethazine cough medicine and a nasal spray. Symptoms got worse , the next night I started wheezing , I couldn’t get air in and felt suffocation, I’m dizzy and coughing up some ugly mucus. I fought through the night to breath and wanted to go back to the urgent care which I did the following day//// this is where I will rate the staff a 5 because that’s all I can rate it as for the highest. The girls who work there are very pretty , preoffesional , courteous , understanding , compassionate , friendly and you can see they have passion in them to help. PA Nicole Sullivan May have been the best I’ve ever witnessed in any urgent care setting , I’m amazed at how friendly she was and how intelligent she was when it came to my problems. My vitals were high and my pulse was very high. It shot up to 250 and right away they had an EKG going on me with the other staff there to assist with anything needed. I then got a X-ray on my chest and it was at that point they reccommended I go to the hospital in which I did. That would be today and the hospital verified I have pnemonia , I was upset because I felt I was being proactive trying to catch it early but it just so happened I got the worst PA in history of time. “Mariom” walks in and you will know my her accent , be prepared to go somewhere else after you are polite enough to listen to her android self for all of 30 seconds. I’m in th hospital bed now and they have me on plenty of the right stuff. This could have been avoided or even taken care of sooner had “mariom” the PA stopped being stingy with antibiotics. I don’t understand these PAs you would think they pull them out of the sewers , out of shelters or out of subways , I love Nicole Sullivan as she was just so fantastic but I will not return and I will tell me family of 12 to not go there anymore because of “mariom” she gets let go and I will surely come back. I’ll visit Nicole since she works on Saturdays and the A team works that day also to show my appreciation but I won’t be caught dead in there which almost happened. I’ll get back to laying in the hospital bed now and fight for air with machines all on me.
On my Birthday last year 2/2019, I was suffering in severe pain , in 12/2018 I had bloodwork run from my Hemotology’s office and my WBC was close to 17, when it shouldn’t be any higher than 10-13 for my condition, ( that Dr. hadn’t called me with my results & left me with an untreated infection for 2 months) I walked into Urgent care ( Northwell Health) in Great Kills( next to SuperFresh) and a Beautiful young Vibrant PA, met me with a smile , ran my blood and sent me home with Rx’s for what she knew it was but told me to wait a day for the results so she could verify and low and behold she was 💯 % correct. Mrs. NICOLE Sullivan literally saved me from having to go to ER because of my Drs negligence! Unbelievable experience and I’m grateful to know we’re in such good hands with such a conscientious . Would NOT go any place else other than this facility 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Horrible Experience. There are no doctors. The person who saw my daughter was a physician assistant. She did not know what is going on and was on the phone with somebody asking what she supposes to do. After a few minutes of phone conversation, the same purson came to me saying that it was life and death situation and she called for the emergency ambulance. She did not want to listen, when I tried to explained that it is not that she thinks may be and we had been in the same situation before. Physician assistant also insisted that the main reason to go to hospital would be special blood test that must be done immediately.Once we arrived at the Staten Island hospital, doctor and Pediatrician supervisor both told that urgent care diagnosis was incorrect and no blood tests or other tests needed. We safely got home after a few stressful hours and over the counter pills.Special Thank you to all Staten Island Hospital personal!
Dr Florence was arrogant and egotistical. She wouldn’t listen to your complaint. I had a sore throat and other flu like symptoms. She did a flu test and there was a very faint B line which indicates its a flu. I asked that I might have a mix of bacterial infection and a flu, that needs not only rest but also antibiotic. Well that probably triggered her. She only asked me to go home and rest and handed me useless instructions that I can google instead of killing a tree.I did not feel any better in the following 3 days and decided to see another doctor who confirmed I had s strep throat and gave me antibiotic.Wasted $30 copay and an hour of waiting.
My daughter and fiance who are in from NC took their 2 year old there on 1/14/20, which He and the child were both diagnosed with the FLU. The doctor Reyhan Suleymani not only was annoyed my granddaughter was crying but she didnt give her ANYTHING! What kind of manner is that?! A 2 year old has the Flu and you give the child nothing when kids are dying from it?! Her fiance was given Tamiflu and other things but not the child. I was recently here on 1/3/20 and had a good doctor Nicole Peduto but do not like how my daughter and her family were treated here the other day.
My wife and I went to the Center for a stomach virus. My wife was told by the attending doctor that it may not be a virus that it may be appendix issues. She immediately sent us to the hospital where the attending doctor found my wife to have an inflamed appendix and rushed her into surgery and had a successful operation thank GOD. If it wasn’t for the doctors at Northwell who diagnosed her with Appendicitis, who knows what would’ve happened.
Oct. 27th, 2016, I caught my finger in a door jamb and broken it in two places as well as severed two thirds of the tip. I called this urgi center and asked if they could treat my injury. They said to come right in. I met Stephanie at the info desk and she immediately, took my information and a ten dollar co-pay. I was seen by Mariam Lozah, PA, within three minutes. Exrays were taken by Andrew who was very kind and compasionate. After a diagnosis was made, the PA began treatment. I received four stitches and a splint. It has healed beautifully. The Level of care was excellent. The center is immaculate, the team of medical professionals is the best Ive ever experienced.
Went to one location they didnt take metro plus, went to second location they didnt have the shot I wanted, went to 3rd location they didnt know how much co op I would pay and they would bill me later. Reading their reviews I don’t trust them with billing later on. So I ended up paying cash for the shot. All disorganized
I wanna let you know dr Miriam is not only an excellent dr her comparison and love of her job went above and beyond for me I wasnt treated as just anyone she took her time she called me with my results and came up with another way to treat my condition Inot to many drs are like that anymore thank you again for putting my mind at ease and healing me you truely are in a field j love it shows 😘😘
So I decided to go around the corner to the Urgent Care because I had a problem with my mouth I was greeted with such a wonderful person at the front desk who told me that I was put into a room where they took my vitals then in came the PA which was Miss Nicole Sullivan who took care of me with such professionalism I would recommend her to anyone so if anyone is sick and needs to have something done immediately and wants to feel comfortable I would suggest you go there youre absolutely wonderful from the staff to the PA doctors thank you
Terrible place horrible they only concern was my $55 copay I was there on Tuesday was prescribed z pack and an inhaler I did not get better so I went back a week later for a follow up well what I thought was a follow up and I was told no way I had to pay yet another co pay and if I was not happy I should go to my pcp so this place sucks

2022-05-23The pA did not even want to look down my throat as she was sure I had COVID . I tested negative! She never listened to my chest even though I said I was prone to bronchitis . I called back the next day 3 times and waited over. 12 hours for a call back which never happened. Will never use that site again. The worst.

2021-03-13Good experience from front desk to doctor...all nice people. Nurse and doctor were both very educated and informative answering all my questions. Felt very much at ease with them. As of date diagnosis and treatment seem accurate and helpful. Thank you to all the staff ... I certainly wont hesitate to recommend this center to anyone and will come back myself when needed.
