Came in as a walk in on a Saturday morning for my 6 year old son. There was a little wait but I was already expecting that since I didn’t have an appointment. The lady at the front desk was very nice and polite. The lady who took us to the room and did all the blood work was also very nice and polite. She had small talk with my son and let him choose the bandage he wanted (which was a big deal for him). Bloodwork was quick. My son didn’t even cry.
I have never been in and out a lab so fast! I came in they gave me a sticker to validate my parking. The Rep sent me to the Kiosk to check in since i had an appointment, i found my name, clicked the box, sat down and was told to go to room three.
This Lab has been my “go to” for all my necessary tests for many years.The staff is always efficient, pleasant and thorough. Covid secure and immaculate.
They allow walk-ins and the phlebotomist did the blood work very quickly and professionally, I was very satisfied. I definitely recommend other people to go there for their lab test. I didn’t have to wait for long and the staff was friendly and welcoming. They also have the private parking lot which didn’t give me the hassle to looking for parking on the street.
My daughter is a 5 year old who is relatively scared of shots. They were amazing at keeping her calm and getting her blood drawn without her crying. I highly recommend this place, friendliness, cleanliness, and wait time were all great.
Very helpful and professional staff. Got my blood work done in the blink of an eye. The check in process was super quick and easy! All you have to do is fill out a short form. I only waited for like 2 minutes before they brought me in to get my blood drawn. No hassle with the paperwork either. They got everything settled for me. I didn’t have to do anything other than getting my blood drawn. Super nice environment too! Very comfy chairs!
I came for a Covid test not knowing that I needed a prescription. The staff was so helpful and courteous and gave me the number to the Covid Appointment Testing and I was able to set up an appointment and get a prescription within a half hour I want to thank them for their kindness and for their understanding this is a great facility.
Walked in without an appointment and was seen in a matter of minutes. The staff is organized and friendly. Painless blood draw. This is my go to lab.
I walked in & spoke with receptionist right away. AfterFilling in my name & address I was sent to a room The phlebotomist took literally 2 minutes from beginning to end. Everyone was professional & I would recommend this lab to anyone.
Everyone at this location is so nice! They make you feel as comfortable as possible and it’s very clean. I’ve had blood work done here as well as Covid testing and everything was virtually painless. Remember to bring your prescriptions with you or have them faxed over.

The Bayside office has excellent service, Melissa the receptionist is very efficient and polite and the staff all of them are very professional, I met Ralph, An Uy, Mark all are great. I had blood test and I always have problems with my veins, not in this place each person who took blood samples were extremely carefully so I didn’t experience any problems. The place is modern, clean and well maintained.
So amazing I walked in checked in on the I pad the amazing receptionist gave me a form filled it out was in and out in 5 minutes god less them....
I went for my glucose test and Melissa at the Bayside location was so wonderful. She found my vein so quick, and my veins aren’t easy to get. Took my 2 year old son there for blood work also so she can take his blood, and again was wonderful. Super quick. Great experience always when I go there!
I needed some blood drawn again. Same excellent experience. They have parking, the wait was minimal and the staff was courteous and efficient.
Highly recommended! All the staff members are extremely friendly and professional. I have had Mark almost every week for my blood work and it’s always a pleasure having him. Process is fast and I’m out of there in less than 5 minutes.

The lady at the front desk could have been a little more cheerful or welcoming BUT other than that the staff and service was amazing. I was called pretty quickly and was greeted by a super nice woman who did my testing was quick and thorough. Other folks in there said hello even though I was not their patient. Would absolutely recommend!
Had an appointment for a COVID test. Got numerous reminders. Taken immediately. In and out in 5 min.
Yes the staff are very nice but do not believe the ridiculous 5 star reviews here. They actually do not send out results to you or your doctor. You have to go through hoops to get them, including waiting on hold for hours. Once you get through and ask them to fax it over to your doctor, they say they will do it and then they don’t do it. They also do not update your results to FollowMyHealth. Basically they take your blood and then do nothing. Not an efficient process at all and just a complete waste of time. I’m sure they will be very prompt to get their payment though.

I was a walk-in. I was taken care of less than one minute after walking in. The blood tech was wonderful! Quick, efficient, very light touch. Everything was spotless, everyone masked. Highly recommend.
I love the place. Not a lot of people, we are the only one there and its good especially around this pandemic time. The staffs are very professional. The phlebotomist was very gentle with my 1 year old son. She found the vein right away which what every parents always prayed for. I would come back to this place definitely. Highly recommend it to my friends and family.

My experience was very positive. No other patient was there when I walked in. I was a walk-in. My provider put an order in the system for me already, so all the techs had to do was look it up, which they did. They then told me to wait in the treatment room. I waited 2 minutes. Tech came in, drew my blood and I was out in 5 minutes. Great experience. No hassle, close to home and went straight to work, right afterwards. Highly recommend this location.

Signing in as a new patient was very easy and they wait wasn’t long at all. Melissa was the person that did my bloodwork and she did an amazing job. She was such a sweetheart. This is the best place to go and i will recommend all my family and friends to go here.
My 7yo has very deep veins and it has been almost impossible to get blood drawn for him. We even had a technician come to our home and he ended up sticking my son in both arms and even his foot. My son ended up being fearful of needles and crying whenever he had to get blood work done. When we came to the Northwell Lab at Bayside, the lovely technician eased his fears and was able to get his blood drawn in less than 2 minutes. Very few tears were shed and I was so happy to finally have gotten my son’s blood drawn. I wish I could have gotten the technician’s name so I can properly thank her here but I am sure everyone at Northwell Lab at Bayside are as knowledgeable and professional as her. I recommend anyone who needs to get blood drawn to come to this location.
I arrived at 7 AM this morning. Melissa greeted me and the other people waiting with a high level of professionalism. I did not have to wait long and she drew my blood, painlessly I might add. Melissa merits praise for her dedication to the Northwell organization and to their clients. Thank you:-)
I had some blood work done at Northwell Health labs this evening in Bayside. The nurse Melissa who extracted the blood was amazing. I literally checked in and asked to go into the patient room. The procedure went fast and back in my car in 20 mins. I would definitely go back again. Great job !

Went today with my two kids age 2 and 5, Jimena was so gentle, attentive and made the whole experience a breeze. I was more nervous then the kids. I would definitely recommend going to this place if you have small kids. Will go again when we need to. Thank you.

Highly recommend baby blood test in here！ My boy is 15 months，always crying when he see doctor. Doctor/nurse in Northwell lab are great. My boy doesnt cry a lot，just yelling for few second. Also，only Daddy hold baby. Compare to other lab， usually they need 3-4 adults to hold baby， then they do blood test. Northwell Lab is so surprise me，they finished test in a minute for baby. Thanks them a lot.
My husband and I come here for our routine bloodwork and COVID testing and we are always pleased with our experience.Melissa the lab tech is professional and caring- she always makes sure we are comfortable and informed of what the visit will entail.
Came here for my kids blood draw. No appointments needed but you do have to check in at the kiosk when you arrive. The staff was very friendly and quick to keep the line moving. They have multiple rooms so the wait was only a few minutes. The facility is clean and well air conditioned. Social distance wait room and check in process. Everyone on staff has PPE and they clean the room after each patient. Parking lot is not open so I had to find Street parking.

I came in as a walk-in for a nasal swab COVID-19 test in preparation for an upcoming colonoscopy. Facilities were modern and clean, staff was friendly and effIcient and I was in and out in just a few minutes. If you need a lab test done for anything that this facility handles, I highly recommend it.
Really quick to even walk in. Without registering in advance. Very clean rooms + bathroom. Staff are great and take into consideration when youre nervous about needles. At least, this location is much better than LabCorp facilities Ive been to -- which are much dingier.

Clean, professional environment, friendly staff, they do their best to see patients quickly and efficiently. Wait times are hit or miss. Some days there’s a 5-min wait, other times 20 minutes.
Wonderful staff from the check in desk to the woman who took my blood (Julianne?). I went to another lab nearby for some other blood work because it was closer to home, but I prefer this one now. Ill bring my toddler in for his blood work too.
I booked an appointment online which was really convenient. Upon arrival, I used the automated check in and the wait time was just under 10 minutes. Phlebotomist came in 5 minutes later for the blood draw and I was out in 3 minutes. I highly recommend this location.
I went there with my 2 young kids (ages 4 and 7) and myself for bloodwork. They took us right away at our appointment time. Everything was clean. The phlebotomist was really nice, quick and good with the kids. The kids were a little scared but she made the kids feel at ease. The promise of some treats afterwards helped as well.
The staff is sweet and great. There was a women with her baby, he was fuzzy and she needed help filling out the form the lady help her and placed her in a room to be more comfortable. I loved that. Thats shows alot. Thank you Bayside 💘.

On my experience with my daughters having blood work done, both phlebotomist were extremely exceptional ,attentive and excellent customer service skills. I would recommend this lab site to anyone because of these 2 individuals that made my daughters very happy on 01/16/21.

My blood was taken before I knew it. The nurse was extremely skillful. That will be my place for blood work from now on. But they have to address the telephone problem; nobody answers and the call gets cut off.
I visited the Bayside Lab 3 times and on all those occasions, Rosie at the desk, was such a pleasure to speak with. She was always very professional, informative and friendly. I will highly recommend that office because of Rosie, its cleanliness and efficiency.
Great experience with my phlebotomist this morning. Sept 28, 2020. Staff here is always professional and neat. Just a few mins wait. Easy parking accross from Bay Terrace Shopping Mall. Would recommend anyone to come here. You can make an appointment or just walk in they will treat you just the same and the service is quick and professional.
I visited on August 3, appt time was 3:30 for my special needs child. The phlebotomist was exceptional. She was able to manage the anxiety attack my child had and coached me and my 2 adukt daughters on how to manage my 9 year old while the blood was taken. Also, I noticed she was the only staff member at the time. And how she managed all was impressive. She also maintained controlled of the social distance guidelines. If this is how all employees are at Northwell..they will always be a 5 star hospital.
If you need lab work done this is the office to use. Hardly ever a wait and they schedule patients appropriately. The phlebotomist are always friends and careful with the blood drawers. My only complaint is that the phlebotomist has to be the receptionist as well as the phlebotomist. Northwell can do better in that dept. they shouldn’t have to do both.

Super clean PPE is very much in place there are disposable gloves for anyone who wants to use them the seats are spaced out appropriately and the visits are relatively quick and easy youre in and out easy peasy.
Intake was efficient and courteous.The person who did the blood draw was friendly, she listened to issues I brought up and executed the test quickly and professionally, explaining a point when necessary. It was a totally positive experience.

As soon as I went through the doors, I was nicely greeted. I was apprehensive about the blood work procedure but the young lady was very friendly and so professional. I will make this my place for lab work. Whats nice is that Bay Terrace is across the street. After fasting, I could get something at Bens.

This place is not even worth my star... I’ve never had a problem with anything Northwell until this. From the beginning, the first person I saw was barking orders at the other people on the socially distancing queue. Now, It’s today the 15th of July, I did a test on 07/09/20 and have been calling the Dr. for my test results only to be told every time that the results are still not back. I tried to reach the lab, I held for over 15 minutes and no one came to the phone.My conclusion is they might be sending these specimens to Asia to be tested or somebody drank it.
The staff are fast and professional. They are courteous. The staff are very adept to taking the blood. You barely feel the needle.
I always have the worst experiences when getting blood drawn at doctors offices, but I was literally in and out of the office within 5 mins and the nurse was knowledgeable, quick, and almost painless (I have a low tolerance to pain). Going to get bloodwork at doctors office will now be a thing of the place
Must say I was pleasantly surprised after reading bad reviews! Nice, polite lady at front desk. Took my paperwork and I checked in. 10 minutes later my name was called. A very nice young male phlebotomist, by the name of Jevaughn, drew the blood samples. No pain. And I was done. All in about 30-35 mins. I will most def go back with future lab work.

If you are thinking to bring your baby there thinking about it again, no patience at all not happy with the treatment with my 1 year old. Seem that the staff werent happy to work on saturday 😕 I wouldnt recommend they are not helpful at all. Very disappointed 😞

Staff was amazing. Only problem o had was the fact that I went there for a antibodies test which I told was free and was charged a $50 copay. My friends that went to another location we’re not charged

Went this morning(Saturday) without an appointment, there was 2 people waiting, I only had to wait 5 mins. Went in for some blood testing everyone is so nice and sweet. The only thing I didnt like was finding the place, google maps wasnt accurate. Its on Blvd right across the street from Panera.
The gentleman that did my test was so friendly, kind and most of all patient. Answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable. Great experience.

I schedule a 1145 appointment the day before for my mother who is 91 years old the attendant who drew the blood was professional and caring who showed compassion when my mother was afraid and took her time with my mother I was very appreciative of her effort

My husband was just there to have blood drawn. You are suppose to close at 7pm nowhere on this site does it state that you close at 3pm. You had a man with oxygen on banging on the door to tell him you close at 3 and it wasnt even 3pm. I am disgusted! Sorry I had to put one star in you dont deserve it!

I called the Bayside location with a question regarding lab work. The extremely rude woman on the phone refused to answer or transfer me over to someone else that can perhaps help me. She yelled and hung up the phone on me. This is unprofessional and Northwell should NOT have such rude and unprofessional people working there!!

2022-05-07My experience with this lab today was exceptional. I made an appointment online yesterday and when I arrived today, the check-in process was quick and easy. The entire staff was courteous and professional. I was in and out for my appointment in less than 15 minutes. Best lab experience I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this facility.

2022-06-06Perfect! I brought my mom there for bloodwork. Melissa, who drew my moms blood, was amazing! My mom is a difficult patient and usually its challenging to find a good vein. Melissa found a vein right away and my mom didnt even feel the needle at all. Getting blood from her has never been this easy. All the employees there were helpful, friendly, and courteous! Also, even though there were several other patients having things done, we were in and out.Im adding to my review because I just had my own blood drawn there today. As when, I brought my mom, the employees there are terrific! Erika drew my blood. I barely felt it. She was very friendly and kind! They are very hard workers! Even when theres quite a few people there, youre pretty much in and out due to the excellent employees.Thank you!

2022-03-26I had to go for a COVID test before a doctor appointment. It was quite crowded and some of us had to wait outside the office (but still inside the building) in order to maintain social distancing BUT the staff managed to move us through in a very orderly fashion. Clean and professional, convenient, and parking available on site. I am glad they are in Bayside!

2022-05-23I must begin by stating that I am tired of taking the COVID tests already. I understand they are part of the process of having procedures done in the hospital but they are nevertheless bothersome. Yet, if I have to take them I will go here.It is ver convenient. They have a valet next to the lab. GREAT! The gentleman is very personable. I regret not getting his name. He got my keys and was patient as I took a while to take them off my keyring. Dont ask. One of those days.Then, Melissa attended to me and carefully explained the procedure of checking in as I had not been there before. I filled out the top part of the paperwork and handed my insurance to her. I only had to wait a few minutes. Mind you it was only her and 1 her co worker and she I believe was either on break or attending to another patient.Please a smile goes a long way. I am glad I was able to go there and was able to take a test I cannot bear with at least someone who smiled and was professional. Thank you Melissa.

2022-06-09I have used Northwell Labs at Bay Terrace Location for both Covid-19 tests and routine blood work prescribed by my doctor. Whether by appointment or walk-in, waiting time has always been minimal, the staff and technicians are very pleasant and efficient and the place is modern and squeaky clean. Way better than many other labs I have used over the years. If this location is convenient for you, it should be your first choice.

2022-04-30Have a severe needle phobia and went for a bloodtest. Wait was not long, but very few seats in the waiting room. Phlebotomist was not very patient with me even after I explained that I had a phobia. Felt rushed and it caused my nerves to skyrocket. Despite the rush, the test was over quickly. Overall I was quite pleased.

2022-07-08Making appointments online here is always easy and the staff always helpful. It is conveniently located to transportation and I appreciate that they offer early hours starting at 7 am and I rarely have to wait.

2021-12-06Went this morning - a Monday. Didn’t wait long. Tech got my son’s vein on one try and his are so deep that every other blood draw in the past needed multiple tries leading to a bigger gauge needle. It’s a good location. Nothing bad to say at all. Will use this facility for future needs.
