Took my 1 and 4 year olds here for routine blood work. Patient, knowledgeable and friendly from start to finish. Absolutely fantastic. Wouldnt go anywhere else.
This place is great! Quick, fast and very nice nurses. Very convenient. I will do all my pre-testing and blood work there.
I was very happy this morning. I walked in with no appointment to have blood work done. Within 10 minutes, I was called and done in another 10 minutes.🥰🥰.

I needed lab work done and was able to just walk in without an appointment sign in fill out paperwork and waited for a few minutes had the blood work done and was on7 my way again. Nurse was very nice hardly felt the pric even.
Even though with Covid restrictions and having a long line to check in, it went reasonably quick. Staff was extremely friendly and super efficient getting people in and out.
The ladies were so wonderful, and patient. We are very grateful =) Thank you all.
I have been here several times and always amazed how fast and efficient they are. I am in and out in 15 min or less every time! Highly recommended!
I didn’t realize they closed early on Saturday and walked in 5 minutes before closing. The staff were vey nice and allowed me to come in anyway…on a holiday weekend! Thank you!!!
I have always brought my kids here and been very happy with how wonderful the staff is. My older two, teens now, were always easy patients. My youngest (who is 6) went today and and was very scared and crying. I was so impressed by how well she was handled by the staff, Maria in particular! She was calm and patient and spoke so kindly to my daughter, right from when we walked through the door! I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else!
Went there for bloodwork Saturday morning. It was quick in and out. Very friendly staff
My 4 kids and myself walked in for blood work and we were taken care of immediately, the front desk employees were very professional and friendly. The woman who drew all of our blood was so gentle and swift!! We had a great experience
I had to get blood work completed. Not having an appointment I wasn’t sure what to expect. My son has come here in the past for blood work and spoke very highly of the process and staff. When I entered I was greeted right away in a polite and friendly manner. When I checked in I was asked if I needed assistance completing checkin using the computer. I was told to go to room one where I was treated very nicely and had a pleasant experience with the woman who took my blood. I left with a smile on my face. Highly recommend and will return.

Ive been at this location three times so far. The people there are extremely nice, helpful, and very caring. It has been very difficult to find my veins in the past at other places because I was told I have tiny veins. Not here. They find a good vein on the very first try and I barely feel the needle. I highly recommend anyone who has had trouble on the past with other Labs to go to this Lab in Bethpage. They are awesome!
The website to make an appointment was experiencing technical difficulties so I couldn’t make an appointment. I was concerned there would be a long wait, but there was hardly any wait time when I arrived. The test was for my one year old son who hates needles and the doctors office. The staff here were so welcoming and gentle with him. We were in and out in less than 15 minutes.
I took my 1 year old to get his routine blood work requested by his pediatrician, the staff was amazing with him. Stephanie quickly took us in right away, she checked his veins and was done in 2 minutes . Everyone was extremely friendly and attentive and they made the stressful process (my 1 year old of course was crying and scared ) go as smooth as possible.
Ive been having blood drawn weekly for 3 years. DAndrea has made it a very pleasant experience. She has demonstrated tremendous skill drawing blood from me as I am an extremely difficult to draw blood from. She has made this a positive experience because of her very pleasant demeanor, kindness and skills.
The staff and phlebotomist are truly amazing. Courteous, fast and professional. I had the pleasure of having my blood drawn by Catherine this morning and she made me feel comfortable, she was very professional and was able to draw my blood in just a few minutes time.
The people here are so nice. I walked in without an appointment with a script from my doctor and got my blood drawn within minutes. Check in was easy. I also have the worst veins ever and am used to being a pincushion but they get me pretty quickly. I was a bit on edge today and the staff all put me at ease.
49 years old and I still hate needles and getting shots or blood drawn. Ive been coming here once a month since October and they are always professional. Anyone who has drawn my blood, has done it with out any discomfort and with total ease!I would totally recommend this lab to anybody!
My young daughter of only 4 yrs of age had to get her blood taken here and they were so welcoming. They put her at ease and the technician who took her blood was so easy to work with and made the process run so smoothly. We were in and out of there in 20 mins with three people ahead of us when we walked in. We would go back there again for sure!
I used this lab for a complex, multi-hour test. The staff was extremely friendly and on top of things, even during the morning rush. I observed them being patient and courteous while I was waiting, and many patients commented on how quickly they were in and out. I highly recommend this lab!
I think this lab is far above the others. I have very hard to access veins. Last visit Jeffrey was commendable and this time Marcia.I have been a registered nurse for 50 years and have been on “both sides of the fence!” They are professional, cordial and perform an excellent job. I have already recommended your location to quite a few people. KUDOS to you all.
Today we took my 1 year old son to get his bloodwork. I was hesitant after a prior experience at a different facility. The ladies we were with today put us all at such ease and made the process so much easier!! If you have to have bloodwork for your young child I highly recommend this place!
I’ve been coming to this location once a week for years and everyone in this office is so lovely! Deandra is an absolute pleasure, when you walk in she greets you and is always so helpful! I love this location and tell everyone to come when needing diagnostic testing done!
Need to retrain staff, they don’t know what they are doing didnt put the tourniquet before drawing blood out of me hurting me and then pinch me the second time leaving the tourniquet longer then it supposed to that marked my skin. Will recommend for Northwell to retrain all old staff maybe they forgot the right way of the procedure
I was a little nervous to bring my 9 month old for blood work. The team here was absolutely AMAZING. I was taken to a room with her right away - felt safe during covid. The phlebotomists were so gentle and professional. My little girl cried for about 10 seconds tops - I was so impressed with everyone. I highly highly recommend. Thank you to everyone that works there!
I was a walk in patient. The process was very simple and quick. I was in and out for a blood test in 5 minutes.I had gone early to another lab nearby where I waited over an hour and was never seen. I left and went to Northwell Labs.I will definitely do future visits at Northwell.
I have always been a tough stick, but everyone at this lab has been able to find a vein on the first try. I greatly appreciate their skill and professionalism.Visited again 10/18/21 and had the same positive experience.
Extremely unprofessional, i went twice with a 7 days old baby , driving 2 hours back and fourth for blood work so they can “spill or say that they didn’t took enough blood “ the second time , how is this even possible when I clearly saw the amount of blood they took!!! The front desk lady was very rude and cold she was acting like she didn’t care about anything that’s why I ended up without my results!!! Please don’t go there save your time and nerves!!!
I have been coming here every 6 months for about 2.5 years now and they are very good. I am DEATHLY afraid of needles and have a tendency to pass out but 4/5 of the nurses were super caring and reassuring. Today, I had to get several vials done and the woman I had was VERY VERY nice but was having some difficulties bc I didnt drink enough water apparently and I had tiny veins (it wasnt her fault my veins werent cooperating). I was sitting in the chair with my head burried in my bfs arm bc I was starting to feel lightheaded when another nurse came in bc he saw me and was worried. Jeffery was absolutely fantastic!!!!!!!! He had me lay down instead and my light headedness started to fade instantly. He then used my other arm and was able to get the vials done quickly and as painless as possible. The woman was super supportive and actually came back with a wet paper towel and patted my forehead for a bit to ensure I was okay. She and Jeffrey were real life savers today and overall just very professional, reassuring, and knowledgeable. Thank you, Jeffrey! You are appreciated :)
Best staff, professional, polite. My kids only get their blood drawn there since 8 years ago when my 6 months old back then need to get blood tests. The first lab, another lab, we went was not able to find the vein on my baby and kept poking the needle in and out, left and right and after 30 mins they still couldnt do their job right. Here the staff was able to do it very carefully, fast and skillfully. My whole family goes there regularly.
The staff is always very friendly and very welcoming. The young women who took my blood was very sweet and personal. We had trouble with my blood coming out very slowly. I have the worst veins. She was very professional and then moved to my hand. I would highly recommend I think they do a wonderful job and painless even with my horrible veins!
For the first time using the Northwell walk in Labs is a pleasure to have blood work done in a few minutes, and only have to wait for just a little bit. This is great for the working class of people that may have to be at work early in the morning. The staff is good at what they do and the facilities are clean and well kept
I went to have blood drawn today in Bethpage. The girls were friendly and helpful. My technician who drew my blood was amazing and painless. I never felt the needle go in my arm. She would be amazing for little children as well as squeamish adults. Northwell should be proud to have her on your staff. She was friendly as well.
Staff is friendly, check in efficient. My daughter has one vein, I told the phlebotomist and she took a look and decided to get someone who would be able to get the blood drawn without multiple tries. Both of them worked together.
Everyone was nice and the process was quick. I was in an out. I went for a Covid-19 test and the technician was very gentle. Very good experience.
Until today, Friday, Oct. 2,2020, I did not know that there was a Northwell Lab at the Bethpage, NY location! I was sent there by my Dr., who is in Lake Success, NY.It was so easy signing in at their kiosk, under one minute! Every One of the ladies working on that day were so nice, friendly & especially helpful!It was not overcrowded at all, approximately 3 people before me. I don’t think that I waited 10 minutes & I went in & was done!!This is a Very Clean, Nice Office if you need any lab tests done! I recommend It Highly!!!💜
First time visit, I misplaced my test prescription nurses were very cooperative and knowledgeable, I didn’t have to revisit, they managed to confirm online and saved my dayExcellent happy environment 😊
Great experience! Fast and easy. People there were really great as well. Only reason for 4 stars is that the online appointment system was not working. I couldn’t book a time or date beyond the current time. However, there was no wait when I got there and I was in and out in about 10 minutes.

This lab is phenomenal they areso patient with my seven-year-old son on the autism spectrum . they never give up and they are super hard-working individuals who are able to troubleshoot a situation. The woman here are smart and hard-working they deserve major props thank you for making us a safe place to take my children for blood draws.
Went there today with my 15 month old and to say they were amazing is an understatement! I recently tried to have a technician come to my house because of everything going on through LabFly and it was a terrible experience unfortunately and they couldn’t get the blood they needed. Here we were in a room in less than five minutes, the one woman was able to get a vein no problem while the other sang to my son to distract him! Sooo thankful this was such a better experience and that the women there were so friendly and efficient! Would highly recommend.. esp for babies and toddlers!
Well-organized, clean, all health precautions in place. I appreciated the friendliness & professionalism of all health care workers I came in contact with. And, a definite plus was the TV screen that had your name & expected wait time in view.
Had to bring my one year old for his very first blood draw, and we were dreading it. The staff was amazing. They put nervous parents at ease, and they were old pros at handling a crying scared baby. My son cried when he felt the tourniquet but never even knew there was a needle I think. Fast, professional, and kind, Maria and Dandrea worked as a team and had us in and out quickly. Im glad I went to this location and will definitely go there on the future.Just brought my now two year old for annual bloodwork, and the team at this lab was great. Again. Maria, Latoya, and Dandrea did a wonderful job with a scared toddler, and they worked together to process us smoothly and quickly through. I wouldnt want to go anywhere else.
It was my first time at this Northwell Lab location (Bethpage). It is small but that adage about quality being more important than quantity (i.e. larger space) rings true. The receptionist/medical assistant, Carolynn was polite and professional. She quickly assisted the elderly who needed help signing in electronically and reassured us that we would be called in soon. In this tense time of the pandemic, her gentle demeanor and her efficiency made the difference! Carolynn would be an asset in any medical office. Thanks to her and the rest of the competent staff our appointment (blood test) was a most pleasant experience!
I need to get a Covid PCR test for an international flight within three days to visit my sick father. My doctor gave me a script and went to this particular lab at Bethpage for the test. The ladies are extremely nice and helpful. The next day I called my doctors office to see if the report is ready but they said no, so I went to this lab again to see if they would be able to get me the report. To my surprise, the lady at the front desk helped me call and requested the report for me and the other lady made some extra copies for me to bring along. What a VIP service! I shouldve get their first names and post them here. I just want to say: THANK YOU!
Very quick and easy bloodwork! I walked in with my 2 year old son, and we were in and out in just a few minutes. The tech was extremely friendly towards myself and my little one, and it was an easy, pain free experience for both of us! He barely cried and walked out smiling again.
I have such bad anxiety getting my blood drawn, and the woman who took it today was so kind and patient with me. She let me sip on my water, explained what she was doing and had such a calming pressence. I wish I knew her name, but my appt was on 1/27 @ 12pm.. this woman needs a raise! The receptionist was helpful as well!

I had a wonderful experience here. Well, no one likes getting lab work done, but it was fuss free. Check in was so easy. I had been fasting for a long time and waited at another lab for 3 hours. I signed up online for an appointment to Northwell Health Labs. They took me on time and were so kind throughout the process. I was really grateful that day. I would recommend this lab to everyone!
Excellent lab ...seen quickly and the woman who took my blood was very good... quick and no pain... I go here regularly when I need blood drawn and find the entire staff friendly and helpful. Highly recommend

Northwell lab on Hicksville road is accommodating quick and fast. Extremely nice and professional, Ive been going there for years always in & out quickly..maybe once or twice in 11 years did I have to wait 15 minutes! Average is usually about 5 minutes..Kenneth Smith
I walked in to Northwell Labs in Bethpage this morning with no appointment. My physician was supposed to have faxed my prescription in, but it turned out they had not. One of the lab personnel, Maria, helped me to call my physician and they faxed it. She took care of my paperwork and drew my blood quickly and efficiently. Thank you, Maria....and thank you Northwell!
Walked in during a the Covid environment. They were very nice. I went in for bloodwork before work. Took all of 12 min. Very efficient. The lady at the front desk was so friendly and more importantly took my blood on the first shot. Very personal and accommodating in a very non personal and unsure time. Much appreciated
Always in and out when I need labs done. They have a great system to keep everyone safe during covid. They always handle themselves professionally and keep the flow moving at a steady pace, especially during the morning rush. Highly recommend.

I went today and it was in and out. No hassle . They had the prescription in their system . Staff was very efficient and working very diligently. Best pat is that it is so close - I was back home in 30 minutes .

Easy to follow system (sign in, etc). Quick process, although person was alone , she opened a couple minutes early and started right away to get through the line of 4 people that were there early. Friendly. In and out without issue. Great process, followed through perfectly.

Stephanie was gentile and super nice.I had to come back later in the day and everyone there was super understanding and helped with the situation.I have been here before and this where i come when i need crazy tests my own office can not perform.Never a long wait everyone is pleasant.Nobody wants to get blood draw. As a RN in an ICU, I have observed a wonderful display of both professional and compassionate care and consideration. In a world dedicated to Covid prevention, I felt very safe and confident when my 92 year old mother required any lab requirements. Thank you to all staff members!!

I brought my 6 month old here to get blood work done, and I was nervous beforehand from reading reviews from other labs that said it was crowded, they had to try multiple times to try to find a vein in a baby, etc.There was only one other patient when I went (around 5pm on a weekday), and the two phlebotomists who took my daughter’s blood were amazing. They tried multiple times to look for a vein without actually inserting a needle, and they didn’t put the needle in until they were sure that they had found a vein. (This was all without a vein finder as well!) My daughter cried during the bloodwork, but that was mostly just because she was being held in place. When the needle was first inserted, she didn’t even notice because of the toy that I was using to distract her.Overall I highly recommend this location - as a first time mom needing to bring my daughter in for bloodwork during COVID-19, the phlebotomists brought me comfort and relief in how they handled everything start to finish.
My 1 year old daughter needed blood work 2 separate times, and Marie was absolutely amazing and got her blood on the first stick both times! Very highly recommended, especially for babies!
This lab is great I have been going there for years now they are professional, quick and pleasant to deal with. Also results are very fast my Doctor has them within a day or two. I would highly recommend this place.

I needed to get blood work. I went to the Prohealth in Bethpage, I went to the second floor as I walked in the woman behind the desk was complaining to a fellow coworker that she put up a sign that Covid testing is on the 3rd floor. In a joking voice I said I need blood work, she told me to go to the 3rd floor as I was walking out the door I heard her making fun of me to her coworker that she put up signs that the lab was on the 3rd floor. I went to the 3rd floor signed in and waited, I signed in at 8am and sat there for 50 minutes and only 3 people were called in. I went and looked at the list I still had 7 people ahead of me the next person to be called signed in at 7:30. I left and went around the corner to Northwell Health labs. I waked in, signed in and was done and out the door in less then 5 minutes. They were fast and professional. I will only go there for lab work from now on.

I’m just so impressed with the Northwell Health team. They were efficient, professional and pleasant. There was a long line outside when I arrived however I was out of there within minutes! 👍👍👍
Never going back. On one part, I can’t blame the employees for the misinformation on the the lab’s website. The website allows you to check in online and sends you a text telling you when to show up inside the lab. This was completely pointless as you still had to wait in line. Also, the website says that you can take a covid test at this location, but it doesn’t specify that you need a doctor’s prescription. Two people came in this office hoping to get covid testing and had to go somewhere else. Don’t recommend this place to any parents. My son is a regular at the doctor offices and almost never cries when getting his blood drawn. The phlebotomist (can’t remember her name) made my son cry so much. Every child (2 kids)that went in screamed their head off. Northwell labs on Marcus ave, New Hyde Park have better phlebotomists.
This was my first visit and I was very pleased. The facility was very clean and the staff was friendly and professional. The blood draw went well. Wendy did a great job. Northwell Bethpage will be my lab of choice from now on.
My daughter was very nervous because she passed out the last time she had bloodwork done. Marie (-maybe Maria?) was very patient and kind to my daughter. Thankfully she didn’t pass out this time!!
Northwell Labs is my go-to provider for regular bloodwork. I’m usually in-and-our within 15-20 minutes. The staff is friendly and the testing is done in a gentle manner. I highly recommend their services for anyone in need of lab work.
My wife and I were here about an hour ago to get blood drawn for our one year old.As soon as the gloves went on, he knew what he was in for and began to scream and flail.Wendy was the first phlebotomist to look at him, and realized that his veins were absent and a blood draw would most likely be unsuccessful. So instead of hoping for the best, and giving it a go, she took the tourniquet off and consulted with her coworkers. I can not stress how much we appreciated that.The next phlebotomist, whose name escapes me, thought she had a chance, and upon beginning the attempt quickly decided against it, realizing our son was a difficult one.But they did not give up, and consulted with Stephanie, who after several moments found a workable vein. She quickly cleaned the area and an instant later the blood was being drawn. Mind you, this was with a kicking screaming child.The level of professionalism here was unparalleled and we are truly grateful to the staff for it. No parent looks forward to having their child’s blood drawn, but rest assured your little one is in very good hands here. Thank you all, with a special thanks to Stephanie. You were amazing.
My son needed bloodwork done, he’s 11 months, they were so kind, and gentle. They were fantastic!!!!! I was amazed at how easy they made it, they definitely know what they are doing! Love the staff, so compassionate!
I’ve been here twice and I cannot even begin to express just how kind the staff is. They are above and beyond the nicest professionals you will ever meet. They are professional and expertly proficient in what they do. I can’t tecommend this lab more highly. Absolutely adore the staff, their kindness, professionalism and proficiency is above reproach. Brought my daughter for very specific allergy testing. What was requested on the script by the doctor was not honored and other tests were run resulting in there not being enough sample left for the tests actually requested. Tests are supposed to be run in the order they are listed on the script. This was not done. My daughter screamed for over 20 minutes while they attempted to draw blood 3 times. After an “investigation” into what happened the response was “some of the tests requested were done” and an offer to redraw more blood. DO NOT GO HERE! Absolutely horrible. Wish I could give a 0.
This is a great Lab, it is convenient, they are quick and always very professional. Everyone is kind and helpful. They make you feel at ease and they go beyond the norm. I have been going there for quite a while now & will continue to do so in the future.
Charles is Key to this location. My children only want Charles because he makes it painless. They are young and have been coming here since toddler age and they feel this sense of relief to always know Charles is there and they feel comfortable. Prior to Charles it was torture every year. Now they are 12 & 8 and demand we only come here for Charles. Administrative staff is also excellent and office is very clean. Very professional.
I was Leary having blood drawn with Covid-19, but needed it done. I’m so happy I chose this lab! From the clearly displayed signs informing patients of mandatory masks to the greeting by the staff it made my nerves settle greatly. My phlebotomist was wonderful, was able to draw me in the first try and did not cut off my circulation with the tournaquit like others have. I’m a retired phlebotomist and will be recommending this clean, well organized lab to others.
Very pleasant, busy, and polite staff. Slightly unclear with COVID precautions about whether to wait outside first or check-in inside. Yet, extremely helpful, hard working, efficient nurses and staff.
I had lab work done this morning. I checked in upon walking through the door. In minutes I was asked to fill out paperwork and leave a urine specimen. When I was finished I didn’t even make it back to the waiting room. I was called into the room for my blood to be drawn. The phlebotomist was so gentle and so sweet. It was done within minutes. Highly recommended this laboratory.
They are professional and friendly. The techs were efficient and courteous. I recommend this lab for all types of blood work including annual school physical. Thanks!
Not a good experience! My 15month old had to have blood work- not only did she have to try both arms but she blew his vanes and was terrible!! She also would not let me add doctors that needed to be sent the results. She said it was to late she already finished her paper work- this was within 5 minutes of me being there. She never asked who needed this information nor was the blood work started yet at this point. Very disappointing
The people who work here are so wonderful with my children. It is the only place I bring my kids for bloodwork. They are Absolutely amazing
The line outside moved quickly. Once inside, was called within 5 minutes. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The phlebotomist was friendly and very proficient. No pain and very quick. Great experience!
Went here to get some blood work done, they were very friendly. The whole process was very fast. I would also like to point out that they are taking cleanliness and safety serious during this pandemic

Always quick. Very polite phlebotomist. Always a professional encounter except for prescription not being delivered by my dr. Office or being lost when I arrive at six in the morning. Now I call prior to arriving to make sure they have my paperwork

Lab is disgusting and doesn’t even appear to be clean. Service by technician was terrible. She seemed very incompetent and I am concerned if she will be handling my specimens correctly. Been to other Northwell labs and this one is the only one I have ever seen like this. The strip mall it is in is in major disrepair. When you enter the building to go into the lab the walls are filthy! And the ceiling is missing tiles. This is a medical lab and should be pristinely maintained. I am shocked this is a Northwell facility.

I chose a lab for the quality of its results, and of the major players on Long Island, Northwell is the best. At this location, Shirley was my phlebotamist and did an excellent job.

2022-05-16I have been going to this lab for several years. I had not gone for a couple of years but came back today and the same woman was working the front desk - pretty lady with long dark hair. Sorry I didnt catch her name but always courteous. always professional always so nice. There were a line of people outside as well as inside and she so efficiently moved all of us very quickly. There was only one phlebotomist at the time I went and she was wonderful as well. The two of them got us all in and out so fast. Love this lab.

2022-04-08They did such an incredible job drawing blood for my 2 and 4yr old! Calming and one and done super fast. We came here on rec from the pediatrician after a disaster first attempt at another location. I had read previous reviews that said they were excellent with little kids and it was 100% true. Also were seen quickly for walk-in appts!

2022-04-11Walked in with my husband who is handicapped and uses a walker. One of the techs immediately came out to hold the door for him. They led him directly to a room where his blood was drawn quickly and efficiently. He is a difficult stick but the tech made it so painless. The entire staff works together to make it a great experience for all the patients. I highly recommend this location.UPDATE to my review: I had to return to this location with a urine sample which my husband was unable to provide earlier. A very nasty black woman at the counter insisted that I check in and fill out a requisition form. I tried to explain to her that I had been there previously and that the sample already had a label on it.she did not want to hear it and continued to speak to me with a raised voice. One of the phlebotomy techs came from the back, looked at the sample and told me I did not have to check in or fill out additional paperwork. After I called her on her error and told her she was extremely rude she continue to scream at me and tell me that she had no way of knowing that I had been there earlier. She should be fired or at the very least removed from the front desk where she forms the first impression for any patients coming into your facility.

I chalk up any negative reviews to impatient and entitled people who think they are special and then talk down to the staff. 2022-06-25My an appointment online for 745 am for bloodwork. I arrived 10 minutes before like they said to i walked out the door at 747. The staff I dealt with was very nice, courteous, and professional despite being extremely busy. Couldnt ask for anything more.

2022-07-05One of the absolute worst experiences as a parent. The Doctors here are great as most doctors are. But the nursing staff specifically the black phlebotomist who yanked my 1 yr old son’s arm. You’re so very lucky I was not present as I would’ve documented the entire incident immediately and would’ve filed a police report. I’m sure if another med professional would do that to her child she’d probably have a worse reaction. Very disappointed in this office and it’s staff. You’ve got to have better self control than hurting someone’s child. No excuse for your shameful behavior.

2022-06-07Staff is always kind and efficient, however, the condition of the suite - inside and out is not at all what I expect from Northwell. Especially as a Northwell employee. This is not up to the standard I was under the impression Northwell strives to be at. Blinds are damaged and half are gone. The inside of the waiting room is old and very dirty. Needs much improvement.
