This one star review does not apply to any of the medical personnel at the office, only the receptionists at the front. I was absolutely blown away by the complete lack of compassion and bad attitude I was greeted with as soon as I entered the building by the receptionist sitting there at the time. I wish I had gotten her name, all I know is she had a short, pixie like haircut. I began to say Good Morning and could not even get another word in before this woman threw a tablet at me (filling out some paperwork). No one else in the cubicle seemed to care about her actions or even try to greet/help me. As someone who has worked in customer service before, it can go without saying that there are sometimes going to be customers that you may get annoyed with, but it is always important to greet them or even smile at them and ask if they need help with anything. I hadnt done anything to this woman besides walk in the building. I sat waiting to be called for half an hour due to the lack of poor communication between the office and the doctors (office workers do not communicate to doctors when their patients arrive right away), and during this time I witnessed the woman with the pixie hair cut as well as other women working at the front either ignore or act nasty towards other patients. As a first time patient at this facility I was ready to not come back because I was so frustrated with the way in which these women at the front desk behave like high school girls, but I received exceptional service from both Dr. Ceico and I would like to give a special mention to Carmen (shes apart of the medical staff, Im not sure if she is a nurse or has a different title). She was exceptionally welcoming, compassionate, and explained everything to me in a thorough and polite manner. Wish there were more Carmens in this office because this is not how staff should be treating patients. Especially at a medical facility, this is unacceptable.

If i could give 0 stars i would. this place is literally so rude and they have the nerve to be too. i’m surprised they don’t have 0 stars at this point. the manager was sweet but the rest of the staff are so rude. will never be back here!

I recently switched back to dr. Phillips, he truly is the best doctor in that entire office. It’s a pleasure dealing with a doctor who’s caring, makes you comfortable and takes time to assess all your needs and issues. If you are new to the office and not sure who to see, l highly recommend Dr. Phillips. He is the best!

I just wanted to come back on here to give one star again because of my terrible doctor. Doctor bashian and the entire office. I’ll paste again how bad they were. DO NOT GO HERE. This place should be shut down. I don’t complain but when it comes to health and my baby, I’ll make sure to warn others.So my baby was my first and I should’ve left when I could’ve. I was pregnant during beginning and height of corona,so this is long1. I went to office for bloodwork in beginning during lockdown but only essentials worked. They did my bloodwork but only took two vials when bashian said you need 12. I left after the two vials because nurse said okay done and I told nurse I think I need more..She said no so then I told reception I need 12 but nurse said I was done I think there was a mistake. The receptionist said well we can’t bother them and we now.. and it’s prob just 2. So I left and they called me and said come back next day lol( this is during height of corona when we knew absolutely nothing. I didn’t want to be out of my house pregnant...2. Donna in the office is terrible, she called me twice to say I have an appt when I never did she even said on the phone oops I mixed you up and that’s a problem too they never had any dates available ever. Which clearly they suck at scheduling. I would ask for emails after that of proof of appts because they would also try and tell me I was wrong3. Bashian always rushed me out when I did see her and rushed my pregnancy wanted to do a c section which never happened Cuz I said I think we can wait. Bashian also didn’t deliver me (thank god) she’s a woman who is there for the money not the patients.4. After my delivery bashian called me and said okay you need to do 6 week post partum appt. I call the office they have no idea about me having had a baby, so bashian never informed them land said well all we have is 3 weeks lol said no it has to be a little later because it’s to check my healing witb a second degree tear and etc and the girl on the phone was absolutely stupid, I hate to say that, she asked my birthday and it’s 1991 and she said okay 1931 post partum appt? so I said Umm lol no ( isn’t this your job lol you should know a women in 1931 prob wouldn’t be going in for a post partum which was an in a mistake lol but then she said wait you need to see doctor after having a baby? I said yes it’s a post partum..... ( like you work in a Gyno office shouldn’t you know that?) so then they put Donna on the phone 🤦‍♀️ and Donna was like that’s all we have and I have my phone to my husband cuz I was just so done and he kinda ripped them at that point and Donna was like oh post partum she had the baby? Okay we can find a date... then my husband said and yeah you guys keep calling to remind her of you upcoming appts but she had baby so you can cancel those and give it to someone else. So she said okay we will take her off reminding appointments mind yiu they called two times after lol I didn’t call back tm cancel but that’s messed up because that means they could’ve scheduled others. Bashian never told them I had a baby. How dumb is that?They have terrible communication and super rude about it. I was concerned at one point too and they were open so I said well I was told to make an appt early on and Donna said well there’s a pandemic going on so... and I said said obviously I know that... I’m just asking a question in concern about my baby So thanks for telling me the obvious but this is your job to patch me through to a nurse since I can’t come in. Also i. Regards to that I called maybe 3x with concerned pregnancy questions and I never got bashian to speak to me.I should’ve left but like I said she was my first and by the time I was ready to leave it was def too late(or so I assumed). I was also going to the bay shore lab for bloodwork and my baby was measuring small so I was monitored there and that lab was amazing,so I was able to compare offices.

I love Dr. Bashian. If only I can get someone to answer my call so I can book an appointment with her. Last month I was having a miscarriage and I panicked because I didn’t kNow what to do. I called over and over for an hour until I got tired of waiting. I had to drive myself over there to at least speak with someone who cared. Spoke to a very kind nurse because Bashian wasn’t in. Well I’m pregnant again and would like to book an appointment right. Ow, but of course nobody’s answering. Can I just tell you that when I walked in the last time, nobody was on the phone????? I’m writing this to add with the rest of the complaints. Maybe They can start answering the PHONE!

If I were rating the doctors, this would be a 5-Star rating. Dr. Frenkel and Dr Nathanson are beyond amazing!! However, I feel obliged to rate the office overall. I have a high risk pregnancy and need to go to this office often. The people who “work” behind the front desk are nasty, rude and beyond inconsiderate! I literally have to hold myself back every single time I go in there because there is ALWAYS an issue! I have 10 more weeks of this pregnancy and I CANNOT wait to NEVER have to deal with that office staff again!!

The receptionist behind the desk has very poor phone manors. They will keep you on hold for 10 minutes and when you think you will finally speak to a person, you receive a please hold. I was trying to set up an appointment yesterday ( 10/4). The lady took my phone number to look up my information and then ask if my insurance info has any changes. I said no. She then said I will place you on HOLD to set up your appointment. 5 minutes later she came back on the phone to say, she is helping a patient please remain on hold. I got frustrated then hung up the phone. The proper thing to do is for the receptionist to call back to apologise and finish the appt. No call back, no apology. Never again.

Dr. Frenkel’s system is tremendously bad. My wife has had a horrible experience here with poor urgency and poor care. We recently miscarried for the first time and at no point did she attempt to make time for wife. She saw her ZERO times. They send RNs to do the doctors job because shes never in. Find another location with doctors who care, at least a little bit.

Probably the worst office I have ever been to in my entire life. Terrible customer service and LIARS. I called them on Tuesday of last week to refill a prescription and they never did so. When I went in for my appointment Friday they apologized and said they would refill it that day. They then refilled the WRONG PRESCRIPTION and closed for the weekend. When I called the emergency number to let them know and ask what I should do they said “decide at your own discretion”. So the office opens up again today and when I called to explain the issue, they blamed it on my pharmacy giving the wrong medication and said they called the pharmacy on Wednesday and my insurance did not allow the prescription to be refilled. When I asked for the documentation to prove so, they did not give me it. I went to my pharmacy and they gave me a print out of all of the medication ever called and prescribed and I also called my insurance company. They not only LIED about calling in the prescription but also prescribed the wrong medication. This is NEGLIGENCE. Entire staff is filled with liars and doctors that give misinformation because they are scared of a lawsuit. MALPRACTICE at its finest. Do not ever go to this place for you own sake. They deserve to be sued and shut down.

The rudeness of their non-medical staff starts with the phone message: if you call at 8 AM, the message, after obligatory if this is a life threatening emergency, hang up and call 911 - which I find obnoxious, continues explaining that the office is closed and to call in normal business hours. If 8 AM is not normal business hours, they should specify what is.Receptionists do not get kinder when you get them on the phone or go in in person.The doctors are OK.Rare are Womens health places where the staff is so unfriendly and rude.
