I love it here. The staff is always so nice and the backyard area is really spacious. It has such a good vibe here.
One of my favorite brooklyn bars, Nostrand Ave Pub has an excellent rotating selection of beers on tap and some of the best bartenders possibly ever. I was so glad to see their backyard reopen with the obvious caution in place for a safe operating environment- masks worn inside when you get a drink/use the restroom and the picnics tables in the back spaced 6 feet apart. The cluster of recent 1 star reviews are obviously from the same one or two people, or recruited pals who I doubt have even been to this local, wonderful establishment- I hope they hated the rules so much they never go back so I don’t ever have to be around them. Thanks NAP for sticking to your guns and serving your community.
Great staff large beer selection
A great spot. Nice selection of beers on tap and drink specials. Was a bit too warm inside but they have an outdoor area as well. Staff was very friendly with the exception to what appeared to be a manager / possible owner who surfaced for a short time and clearly had a negative attitude. It only takes a few seconds of human interaction to kill a vibe.
$20+ for two beers. Was told they had tables in the back, after ordering and tipping they tried to sit my party at a table with other people, and then some weird around the corner table. Lied to me to get me in the door when they did not have seats. It’s a shame, I just moved into this area and was excited about this backyard venue. this experience left a bad memory and i won’t be back.
This is a great place--- reasonable, not overcrowded, nice selection of beer-- and they have 2 bathrooms. Havent been in the backyard yet but I heard its lovely. I dropped an envelope with $1,000 cash in here. I was so embarrassed I never went back to ask if anyone found it--even though I really, really needed that money. After a whole lot of therapy, Id like to think Id be stronger next time. Actually Ive got a lot of trauma and unresolved issues with this place that I just dug up and now Im gonna have to deal with somehow.
Relaxed bar with a lot of beers on tap. $2 off happy hour deals and a big backyard area. The seating arrangement also makes it pretty good for groups since they have some long tables where you can fit quite a few people. Definitely a bar in regular rotation to meet up with friends.

An ideal neighborhood place. Lots of regulars, but not so clique-y that youd feel out of place if you came alone. Better beer selection than most places, and on occasion they get really cool/rare drafts. The staff seem really cool too, especially Brian & T and that handsome bouncer.
Local gem.The bar has a good selection and a very welcoming atmosphere. Its super laid back and chill.From what I noticed, not a lot of the locals, yet a nice diverse mix of people.
I came to this bar a handful of times bc they are open until 4am. The beer selection is good. The bartenders are good. But will someone from the management staff let your regulars know why you are always changing the prices on us? Why are the glass sizes different every week? And why whenever that white guy hands me my check I am always being over charged? Happened for the second time this week... fix the prices. Put everything in a pint glass and tell the “manager”(?)(round fluffy white dude) to lay off the sauce while he is handling money and you may have a 3 star place.
A proper pub atmosphere with a decent selection of beers on draft. My favorite place to stop in for a pint at the end of the day.
BEST BAR IN CH. I am completely biased and this review is very biased. I lived across the street for 3 years and this was out local bar. The staff is awesome the owners amazing and the beer selection is great. they dont have food but that means you can order from any of the restaurants in the area.

Nostrand Pub is awesome. Great food, great vibes. The bartenders are all neighborhood locals, and will quickly make you feel like part of the family. Beer and whiskey selection are stellar, with pleasant surprises every time I walk in.
Affordable pub with great seating including a spacious outdoor patio/courtyard area. This is the sort of low key pub you want to bring your friends to for a cozy space to sit down and chat for hours.

Great atmosphere, staff, and great selection of fine beverages. The Backyard is open all year and is a great addition to the spot. No food service BUT they have delivery menus for you to order and eat right there!
90s music on Saturdays!!! What a great space to escape the bitter cold and enjoy a drink while listening and dancing to 90s top hits! Came for a birthday and stayed for the music. Citizen cider was $9- a bit higher than I am used to paying. Otherwise you are stuck with Down East which isnt a cider drinkers cider. The beer selection is really their strong suit and full bar. Outdoors is fun in the summer- but for the bitter cold, come and enjoy the music!
A hidden gem in Crown Heights. Rarely busy, always good service, and a deep draft and bottle list. Also a good selection of booze too. A major bonus is the big backyard and cheap (though bad) snacks.

I love this place. Theres always seating available, its a pretty standard pub with a nice dark ambiance as pubs should be. I love the long bench seats. They let you Seamless food which is great.

I enjoyed this bar. I found the seating arrangement a bit odd but the bartenders were pretty helpful and quick so it evened outOne thing worth noting is that while they dont serve food, they encourage you to order food from other places and eat in the bar. They even have a binder of menus. I thought that was pretty neat.

Ive been there twice. The seating feels like Im in a Church. Its not crowded at all and the people are usually locals so bartender tends to talk to them instead of serving you.

Music was boring. The barmaid was at the end of the bar with some customers hanging out like she was a customer. I had to scream to get het attention and the place was kinda empty.

2022-04-02Solid local pub with no frills. very simple layout thats great for just hanging with the locals and sitting back to chat. the bartender working was really nice and fast too. perfect pours in spirits and sodas. but i really like the random things on the walls, nothing too flashy or oversaturated.

Customer service is 👍🏿 oh and the I think they called it shintzel idk but their Jewish so the word they use for fried chicken is what Im looking for 😆great place. Stop in I think youll like it.
