I got my first tattoo over a year ago at this shop and it was a cool experience. The Staff was really professional and welcoming. They made me feel so comfortable for my first experience!! Rey was my artist. I think he did a nice job and was really professional and considerate. My tattoo held up well and the ink didn’t look old, nice and fresh ink. It was a quick 5-10 minute tattoo. My only critique would be that he knew it was my first tattoo,but he didn’t give me any aftercare tips after he was done so I had to figure it out on my own and ask other people who had tattoos. I think if I go back, I want to let Carlos ink me. I follow him on Instagram and he is talented! Overall, a very professional and clean/hygienic place!😍😍😍😍
I had my first back tattoo done at not for nothing with Elliott and the whole staff of the shop was very kind. Everyone was complementing each other and engaging in positive conversations. It was also very clean and it truly looked like an art gallery. The artists take their time to make sure every tattoo is perfectly done the way the customer wants. It’s a very nice place to be and get tattooed, it was like the tattoo didn’t even hurt because everyone was so nice.
I decided to get two helix piercings. Everyone in the shop had an incredibly easy welcoming vibe, also, it was very clean and sanitary. Elvis made me feel incredibly comfortable when piercing my ear. He was meticulous about placement and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. I will definitely be coming back for a few more. I will be updating you guys, on the healing process in a few weeks.
Was looking for a new place to set up for future tattoo projects. Had a small, simple thing I wanted done. Called on a Monday to ask if they were still accepting walk-ins in COVID times. They told me to come in after 5pm, when I did everyone was attentive and friendly. The space is open, clean, and used effectively. The whole place had a very relaxed and outgoing vibe.They set me up with Rey (@reycontreras_) who was awesome. He got right to work. Rey has a great personality, makes you feel at ease. We had each other cracking up. He works quick and his focus is to the task. Had me in and out. Reasonable pricing; great spot; chill, friendly staff; and solid work--will definitely be returning to NFN for those future projects.
Upon arrival everything was great, until I met my artist Destiny. Very rude and stand-offish. Being that I was getting my first tattoo, I was really nervous and needed some reassurance. Not once did she make me feel comfortable, just felt like she was trying to finish it and go about her day. From the excitement, I didn’t really look too deep into the tattoo thinking that she did an amazing job but I was wrong. It looked nothing like the stencil and compared to her other work, it looked like a hot mess! I went with my friend and she also got tatted by Destiny, it’s crazy how you think that it can’t get any worse, AND IT DID! My friend got a very simple butterfly, no details, no nothing, just the outline of one and it looked like I drew it with a sharpie. Honestly, don’t make the same mistake I made and look into a good artist. As soon as tattoo shops opened back up, I went to one to the best and it looks amazing. Really cleaned up her mess. BEWARE OF THIS SHOP.
Elliot was incredibly profesional and guided me through the process of tattoo and after care even though I’ve already had tattoos. If you want something no one has definitely go to him. Hands down lightest tattooer I’ve ever had. Very quick service as well. 10/10.
I got a tattoo done in July of this year. And my tattoo still looks so new! Besides the tattoo being more than I expected artistically, Ed made my first Tattoo experience great! He was very warm to me as new customer and always made sure I was comfortable! If you’re look for a great tattoo AND artist, Ed is your dude ❤️
My very first tattoo & a very great experience! The studio was super cool, and everyone was friendly and warm. Ed was the man! He was calming and knowledgeable which made me feel so relaxed. I got a small tattoo and I’m obsessed with it. I recommend Ed for your first tattoo experience! I didn’t have to think twice about it!
It was my first time getting a tattoo at Not for Nothing Tattoos and I had @edtattoos, Elliot, design a rose on my sternum. He made sure I was comfortable and he was very nice which was great for my first time. The rose came out perfect. I’ll definitely be coming back.
I most definitely recommend this place. The place is awesome and full of dope art. It’s also a very super clean environment. The artist are very welcoming. I had such a great experience (other than the pain lol) overall. My tattoo artist Ed was very pleasant and professional. He’s very talented. Great conversationalist. I loved that he offered his opinion and thoughts on the idea that I had for my tattoo. I went with his advice and I ended up leaving with an amazing tattoo!!!! Definitely definitely worth coming here!!!
Great vibes, friendly and supportive staff plus a super clean environment! Reasonable prices and great artwork! I got a beautiful Rose done on my chest by Ed and I couldnt be any happier! All the other artists were also busy sketching and tattooing. All their work as a whole, looked amazing. Totally recommend this shop hands down
The crew was so chill and the vibe they created was amazing. Elliott/Ed did an amazing job at making sure I felt comfortable at all times, as well as informing me on what to expect and he did an amazing job on my first tattoo.
I just got my first tattoo ever done by Elliott and needless to say, I am beyond satisfied. Not only did my tattoo come out beautiful, he was extremely friendly and eased my worries. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who not only wants beautiful work, but someone who wants to be surrounded by positive vibes, especially since getting a tattoo can be a little nerve racking and intimidating.
About 2 years ago my sister used Rey for her latest work, she had received a recommendation that was spot on, and we were blown away by his artistic talent and professionalism. For a long while I have been contemplating a sleeve and finally last year I spoke to Rey about designing one that was themed around my Family’s Crest and my Irish Heritage. I have to admit that I am not an artistic individual and did my best to describe that I wanted the tattoo to show more realism but still remain authentic to the original Crest, I also thought that I wanted everything to be in Black and Grey. Rey masterfully drew up his artistic rendition of my family’s crest, and blew away any expectations I had. Once we got all the line work done, he started talking to me about color, and that he felt with my skin tone it would make the tattoo stand out more and just in general look better, he couldn’t have been more right and I am so glad I followed his advice. As we discussed further on how to fill up some of the empty spaces on my arm, I again wound up deferring to his creativity and vison on what would make the sleeve look complete and best. I could not be more thrilled with the outcome of his work and so happy that I fully trusted him to execute on what he felt would be best for this piece of art. Aside from Rey’s skills, his shop is Incredible. I have spent many hours in Not For Nothing and have seen incredible tattoos created by every artist working there. The shop is a very comfortable place to be, extremely friendly and very professional. If you are looking for your next tattoo, you really should look no further than using Not for Nothing Tattoos.
First time going here a few days ago. Had an amazing experience with Ed and all the staff I met. Saw and respected the design I brought to the table and executed it perfectly!!! Cost was fair and appropriate! Happy to say I will be returning for all of my tattoos in the future!!

Tattoos are an expression of you. Finding the right artists that can illustrate your idea or thoughts is very challenging. The “artist” selection becomes even more difficult without having honest feedback from previous customers. Not for nothing has several of these artist on staff that can provide creative assistance with your ideas, placement, and sizing. They have a wealth of expertise and work in a clean safe environment. i wouldn’t go any where else. Stop in for a consultation and get the best for your next tattoo

Elliot has been my only tattoo artist since day one and I’m always excited every time he wants to tattoo me .. We been working on my sleeve for 6 years and I’ll always be loyal thanks for putting 1000 percent in my tattoos at all times I appreciate you and not for nothing tattoos.

2021-08-07I didn’t have an appointment for a piercing but was seen by Eli right away, who was super knowledgeable and thorough. He spent a ton of time with me figuring out what would work best for the way my ears are shaped and what I’d be happy with, rather than just piercing my ears with no thought about how it would heal. I ended up with a conch piercing and love the placement! Eli made me feel super at ease and had us laughing throughout the process. Can’t recommend him or this place enough!

2022-02-02(see edit below) I just got my nose pierced by Elvis and it was a great experience! He was able to answer all of my questions and he made sure that my piercing was exactly how I wanted it. Elvis was great to talk to from making conversation to giving me details about aftercare and types of piercings and jewelery. The overall atmosphere of the place is very chill, positive, and inclusive. I would absolutely recommend this studio to anyone looking to get art done!EDIT: I had to take my piercing out and let it heal over because I realized a few days after I got it that it was pierced at an angle which screwed up the entire piercing. I went to another piercer to have it looked at and they verified that it was done wrong and caused the irritation bump on the piercing. I tried to keep it in for a few months after it healed hoping the bump would heal and hoping it wouldnt look as crooked as it was but it didnt :/

2019-02-12A few years ago I had an outline done that now needed to be colored in. After reading a bunch of good reviews, I decided to contact Not For Nothing. Rey hooked me up Elliott who was able to fit me in the very next day. Elliot did an AMAZING job. He was patient, and made sure to check in with me throughout the entire process. I could not be happier with the results!ALSO- the vibe of the shop was perfect. I could not have asked for a better experience.

2021-12-08Got one tattoo here with Tasha, she was so gentle and sweet! Everyone there is pretty chill and i felt super comfortable at the shop. I also got my septum piercing here and the piercer was super funny laid back guy who works so quick you barely feel a thing!

2021-03-18My sister, mom and I got pierced by Elvis and it was a wonderful experience. He took his time to give us exactly what we wanted. 2019-03-08Went here today for my first tattoo. Had been wanting to get one for a while and found this place based off of its wonderful reviews. Walked in at 7:30 and they was meet my an awesome staff who were all there insuring my best experience. My artist was Elliot, who was very meticulous with his set up, which I really appreciated. He walked me through some tattoo 101 and helped me choose the exact placement of my tattoo. His work is super clean and very crisp lines. Would definitely recommend this place to any friends who are looking to get a tattoo. My friend also got a tattoo while there with Vanity and her work is just as beautiful.
