Great atmosphere, outdoor seating options, and food. The customer service was superb. If you looking for a wine bar with tasty Italian food then this is the spot. I will definitely be returning.
Wine and shared appetizers was a great time. Wine was delicious, got what our server recommended from the Italian list towards the bottom of the menu. Spinach and artichoke dip was blended with blue cheese which was delicious.

My mother threw my baby shower here yesterday. Everything was perfect! The service was amazing and the food was delicious! People are still raving about it! I highly recommend Novita in Garden City!
Good Experience--We went for Brunch and were seated in a private room for 8 people. The food was good and they placed muffins on our table. Only thing is there was a hair in my French toast that I didnt see right away so at that point I was Done.
I really just loved the food here as well as the service our waiter was actually the bartender and he did a great job he went to South Carolina college so we had something in common. But the food was delicious we had appetizers and the unlimited beverages with brunch was excellent really would recommend this for brunch for sure.

Came here for brunch and it left a lot to be desired. I ordered the arancini as my appetizer and as you can see by the picture the cheese on the inside was no where near melted as it came out cold in the middle. The frittata was also very burnt and crispy all on the edges. Wouldn’t go back for brunch.
Visited this wine bar with family. It’s a nice place with a diverse drink menu and solid food options. I’d highly recommend this place and we’ll be sure to come back again when we revisit NYC

One of my favorite restaurants on Long Island. Quick service, sweet staff, never a poor meal. I typically get the rigatoni a La vodka.
Great spot for lunch or dinner, the food is deliciously prepared. The upscale atmosphere is invited and cozy. Big booths hug the perimeter leaving plenty of space at the bar. The menu offers guests fresh salads, soups, sandwiches, pizza, and entrees, including a good choice of fresh fish. So whether you are in the mood for Lobster Sliders, Stracciatella Soup or Grilled Salmon or one of their many excellent other choices, you wont leave here hungry!

Pleasantly surprised by the delicious lunch served... Returned for dinner and it was even better. So many delish choices to pick from on the menu its hard to decide. They even have gluten free pasta that tastes good. So yum.
Definitely worth coming back. The food is sophisticated yet hearty. Not every wine bar puts the vintage on the menu, its a detail I very much appreciated. I was disappointed that they dont offer flights, but I didnt have a single bad wine. Service was attentive and expedient even with how busy they were, however there was a snafu with my check.

I just came home from a trip to Rome last week and it felt like was back on the Via Nationale. The recipes are authentic, the portions substantial and the wine was excellent. Try the gnocchi carbonara, its a real treat and the pistachio gelato is as good as it gets.

Excellent! Hosted a birthday party here last night in the private room on the lower level. Everything was perfect.The staff was terrific. The food was delicious and the room looked beautiful. What made the real difference were the mangers I dealt with planning and overseeing the party. Jake, Joe and James are all professional business people. Accommodating and very easy going. I would have a party there again. It was truly an enjoyable experience. .
Needed a clean safe place for Sunday brunch to bring the ladies. Spoke with Joe who reassured me it is safe. We had an amazing brunch in the outdoor heated area. Eggs Benedict was the best I have had with the delicious fries. Complimentary mimosa with excellent friendly service. Thank you again Joe & Novita cant wait to go back again!

This place was super beautiful. My partner and I went here on a Saturday night. We had to wait an hour to be seated but we waited at the bar and they had lovely drinks. We sat.. we had our meals in the booth which was so comfortable 💕 I had the mussels and my partner had the gnocchi. Everything was great 💯 well definitely be back !!

Wonderful place! Brunch was great. Love the environment. Had the meatball panini and mozzarella panini was delish. The truffle pizza is amazing!!!..If you like old fashion I highly recommend the peach old fashion with LITTLE syrup. Yummy!
The drinks very good for being unlimited brunch drinks. Apetizers delicious and main course was ok have had better Benedict eggs.
Overall, 4/5. Food was amazing. I wont name the person who served us, but clearly he was juggling too many tables and kept forgetting items we ordered, including drinks and later admitted and apologized that he was slow.. besides this, great ambiance, indoor/outdoor seating and generally friendly staff. Must try the truffle pizza + spinach artichoke appetizer- salmon is amazing.

Had a margarita pizza if that’s what they call it but definitely does not look like it and looks like just a regular thin crust pizza with sauce and cheese and Little Basil lol 😂The margarita pizza should have fresh Mozzarella with the sauce showing And Plenty of basil all over the Pizza 🍕Did not look like the picture that’s example of a margarita pizza
We only went for drinks which was very good. The ambiance is very nice, bartender was very friendly and pretty knowledgeable. Also ordered a cheese fondue which was very tasty...the fondue would have been better if it was hotter (more of a setup issue). Nonetheless, cheese, apples, grapes were fresh and paired well. They have a very good selection from which we ordered 3 bottles. Bartender was very patient while we were selecting/sampling, and also made recommendations. Have been here a few times- a great spot for late night drinks and always fun.
Staff and management were very attentive for a private event in their lower level which was a great space. Perfect setting for about 50 for a bridal shower where we created this dessert table display. Parking lot available in rear with a rear entrance for convenience. Would recommend for a private event.

First time at Novita and it will not be the last time. We had a small wedding celebration here and it turned out perfect! Food was great and be careful with their Sangria - it was by far one of the best Sangrias Ive ever had. Beautiful ambiance as well. Definitely returning for lunch/dinner in the future!
Made a last minute reservation for two but when I got there, I added an extra person to my res. The host was super nice and accommodated us by putting us at a bigger table. We sat outside and the ambience was so nice. The food was delish and the drinks were the bomb. Betsy was such an amazing server and we loved having her!

Enjoyed the 3-Course Weeknight Special. Started with Mozz. and Tomatoes followed by Penne and Chicken Caprese. Both were excellent. Ended the meal with cannolis. Service was outstanding.

Dined here for lunch with a group of 9 people, customer service was excellent from Jake (I believe was his name). The girl who took the reservation the few days before was very helpful on the phone and answered all my questions. I requested to order the food prior to arriving and they accommodated us very nicely since we only had our lunch hour to dine. I was extremely satisfied that the food came right out once we were seated and we enjoyed the delicious lunch combo options!

We had a family dinner for my son wedding. The attention was excellent and the food delicious.
While I realize that a baby shower was going on, service was incredibly bad. Silverware wasnt given until we asked and well after our food was served. Water was never replenished and while I asked, it wasnt coursed out as asked and mediocre at best. Will not be going back.

Food was well prepared, not excellent but good. Staff did the minimal to attend to us but did not neglect us.My biggest complaint was no AC. Not the fact that it may have failed today and the restaurant waiting for repair, but because no one said anything. Not an apology or recognition that inside was hotter than outside.If the owners do not air condition the restaurant, I wont be back this summer.
Novita gave off a vibe that says, Sit down, relax... Enjoy a glass of wine and chat awhile right away...and thats exactly what I did! Scoped out their Instagram for months. It didnt disappoint. Savory Five Mushroom Truffle pizza was delightful and as a whole doesnt weigh you down thanks to the thin crust. My friend & I shared Rigatoni Ragu. Pasta was perfect al dente, tomato sauce had more sweet notes than anticipated, and all it needed was a little more basil ricotta. (Mind you Im biased to add more ricotta)

Was there a few nights ago and sat at the bar. They manage the pandemic well. I felt safe with the set up they created to ensure social distancing. The drinks were great and so were the appetizers. Grilled Octopus which had just a slight kick to it, was delish. Also had the lobster roll sliders, they were just perfect. Definitely recommend.

Went for Sunday brunch. Made reservations. They have a time limit (1.5hrs) which is not totally fair since the server took 20 mins before even taking our drink order! Food was blah, okay. You order 2 courses and there are “unlimited” drinks- but again there is a time limit so you be the judge of how many drinks you can actually get in. The Arancini app was good, however my main (eggs) were undercooked. I would go back only if I had to but otherwise no. Watery bloody mary and watery mimosa. Store bought cold complimentary “muffin loaves” - not even warmed. Not worth the price…. Bad value.

While I’ve been to Novita for brunches and dinners before I must say how unhappy And highly disappointed I was when I walked in yesterday to ask questions and set up a reservation for 15 people on a Friday night I was told flat out by the girl in the front ( who I found to be not helpful at all!) that the max they can serve is 12 people.So I asked her if I walked in with 15 people today we could not be served? Her answer was no, again only 12 people max. Excuse me but I think 15 people would bring the restaurant a lot of money when you consider the amount of food and drinks consumed. Don’t you want business? Very disappointed!!!!!!!
Absolutely love this restaurant, been coming here for years and the food has consistently been good. Half off wine bottles on Sundays. The steak with gorgonzola on dinner menu is one of my favorites. The staff here is very friendly. Nice decor, they keep restaurant is good condition and renovated not long ago

The ambiance was great. They had a good variety of options for brunch. After our initial orders were placed, our server didnt really check on us much and it took forever to get drink refills.

I can appreciate the added privacy and the extra measures taken to protect the community. The barcode scanned menus to review on your phone and the salt/pepper containers that were in take away cups so that they weren’t multi-use, cutting edge and definitely on par with the current affairs. The venue was also lovely, I was prepared to be wowed because I’ve heard so many great things. I guess it’s best not to set expectations so high, my palate was not amused. The brunch Skirt Steak didn’t match the flare of the venue at all. I wish I would’ve went with the different options that were available, so jealous of the neighbors plate. My potatoes were soggy, they looked crispy but weren’t. Eggs were over medium just right. I asked for A1 or some type of sauce because again the steak was bland and not juicy, it was bloody but not the juicy skirt steak I was expecting and not served medium but medium rare. I’m just not a fan of sending back orders, I didn’t enjoy it. But I’m sure it could’ve been better, perhaps an off day to dine. (Ate on Sunday 8/23).
I went here for brunch with two friends on Saturday. We were a little hesitant to go out, considering covid cases are on the rise. However we were really glad we went - they have individual pods for all of the outdoor dining tables! Like clear tents with windows over each table. And of course all the staff wore masks. We had a really great experience. The food was all delicious. We did not think that the mimosas or the sangria were any good though, that was disappointing. But I will definitely return!
The food was really yummy. 4 of us, we each had totally different cocktails and entrees and desserts... each one a winner. Our dining was al fresco. Food was hot regardless. Service was friendly and professional. We didnt feel rushed even though it appeared they were doing a brisk business tonight. Had 1 small glitch when my friends plate was taken and she thought they were going to wrap up the leftovers for her. But a few minutes later when they came for my plate and i requested they wrap it up, they brought out a container for me to do myself, so we realized her leftovers were gone. But to be sure we asked and they were, but they offered right away to make a small plate for her to take home. She was not going to do so, but we... including waitress.. got her to change her mind. Very good customer service. Next time we hope to be able to snag a table behind restaurant where they had individual bubble tents set up for better social distancing. Out table was in front street-side, but we were set back closer to building, than curb. Totally recommend!

Showed up on time for 8pm res & had to wait 15 min for a table inside, (res requested outside) No social distancing / very crowded. Volume of music/ambiance was *loud*, to the point of not being able to hear the person across from me. Bread was served cold. Baked clams were mostly breadcrumbs. Couldnt get waiters attention, busboy brought me a side of red pepper. Steaks were decent. Creme brulee dessert had a soggy crust. Would not recommend.
Service was good. Food was not. Cooked veggies were raw and the cheese fondue was very liquidy with poor taste. Best thing was the venue itself.
The food and service were awesome. However they got busy at the end of our stay and we couldnt find the waitress to get the check. otherwise everything was perfect.
Excellent drinks, great food, amazing staff. Went to several events here and ate and drank here more times than I can count. Highly recommend Novita if you want to go out on a nice date or even just grab a few drinks.
Excellent place to enjoy a pretty authentic Italian meal... Good atmosphere and even better staff!! Was there on Saturday night, made reservations and arrived early, was seated at my table and told, once my guest arrives we will have 90 mins. But after dinner, was told by our waiter, we can stay as long as they dont start having guests waiting. Thank you for that as this was a first date!!!Try the gnocchi and chicken parm. You will not be disappointed in either... 😊
Unfortunately, this place is underwhelming. From the hostess being unfriendly and not greeting us to the mediocre food and slow service- not a great experience. It was a very windy Friday night and I understand they cannot really control their outdoor tent flapping around hazardously on us while we were seated, but no one cared to do anything about it. We had to try to fix it ourselves and eventually requested to move. On top of that, our server didn’t greet or come to us for 15 minutes after we were seated.All of this would not have been a big deal if the burrata app & pasta entrees we got were delicious. They weren’t. The rigatoni ragu was alright, the cavatelli was missing flavor and I found a suspected eyelash in my burrata. I know it’s just an eyelash (which is why I didn’t say anything) but still. I’d prefer my food without facial hair :)Others say this place is best for happy hour and maybe so- however, I’m not keen on finding out.

Came here for lunch with some work colleagues. Im sure a weekday lunch isnt completely representative of this place, but the wine list is extensive, and they even have sale wines, which is interesting. Food was tasty and portions were generous. Service was attentive and pleasant. If I lived in the area, I would come for dinner for sure!
Great food, nice place, but the music is way too loud. I shouldnt have to shout to have a conversation in a pricey restaurant. I wont be back, plenty of other nice restaurants in the area that are more considerate.
Hands down my FAVORITE restaurant in Long Island. They never disappoint ! They have an extensive wine list, along with cocktails. The food is Italian fusion, and I’ve never ordered anything that I didn’t like. The food is phenomenal (if you like steak, I recommend the steak) and if you’re a dessert fan, you’ll fall in love with this place ! I also like how they have a dj in the evening around 9pm. It’s great! They also just renovated and the place looks wonderful. This place is always busy, so it’s best to have a reservation.I find the wait staff experienced, customer centric and overall well rounded. I’ve been coming here for years, and I’ve never had a poor experience with the wait staff. If there was any improvements the restaurant can do, I would say it’s worth the hostess stand. I’m not sure if it’s stress, but they tend to be rude at times.
Was here last week. Awesome setup for social distancing. Pizza was very good thin crust. The lemon pesto hummus was great as well. Nice italian beer section!

From drinks to food to service this place is fantastic. I have not had a bad dining experience here and Ive been at this place more than 50 times. Whether you sit at the bar or at a table youre going to enjoyyourself. Everyone is knowledgeable at their positions, so if you have any questions about the menu or the wine do not hesitate to ask. Good for parties, date night or a night out with friends.

I totally love this place! I come here a lot. The service is wonderful. The food is delicious. My servers are delightful. The 90 minute deadline if its not bz is ignored. I came with my sister to have brunch at 12pm and we didnt leave until 4pm. When bz of course it will be a little noisy but thats because of people conversing. No loud music or obnoxious behavior. I totally recommend this place. Our bill came to 65$ with unlimited drinks, appetizer and entree.
This is a great restaurant. Went here last night with a group of 4. Each dish that we ordered tasted excellent and was delivered right on time. Our waitress was pleasant, witty, and an expert on the menu - providing us with accurate descriptions of menu items as well as great recommendations on some of the dishes. Bus boys ensured that water glasses were always full and that the table was de-cluttered at the appropriate times. Will definitely return.
Hosted a gf’s 40th here! Amazing managers & had a great server. Manager was consistent with email- and they’re very detailed. However, we did family style catering and the food was absolutely awful. We had roast lamb & supposedly a pesto crusted leg of lamb that came out looking exactly the same with sauce splattered all over it. The chicken was white! No flavor and TERRIBLE presentation. I was so disappointed.
I was seeking a small restaurant to hold a reception since I had to postpone my large wedding reception due to COVID. I called this restaurant multiple times since they have a private room. Each time I called the catering manager was not available. I went to see the restaurant with my fiance, and the catering manager was also not there at the time but another employee showed me space which was a nice size, but it was VERY DIRTY. I looked past it thinking that the room and entrance can be easily cleaned. Anyway, I jotted down my list of questions for the catering manager and called again today. Because of COVID my list has gone down from a small group of 30-ish to 25. I called and got the catering manager on the phone and after speaking for a few minutes I told him the size of my wedding party, he told me there was no way he could accommodate us after I asked him a few times if he could work with us because apparently, he needs at least 30 guests. He said there is no way his Chef would allow him to have 25 people in a room on a Sunday. What a disappointment! I will not be returning or giving them any of my money. What a waste of my precious time. As a bride during COVID things are hard enough. I am shocked at the level of customer service. I would not recommend Novitá. There is better Italian food on Long Island, with better customer service. Dont waste your time.
The food is always lovely. The Grand Cheese and Meat Board is exquisite and they have a wonderful selection of wines.

Just crashed a Bridal shower, not really Im the best man of the groom. Lovely place, splendid staff. I did want to apologize. I did knock over some cleaning supplies as I left, while carrying out the last of the gifts. I felt awful. I didnt have an opportunity to go back and help. Whats worse is the blonde who was right behind me was most likely left responsible for it. I felt awful. I still feel awful. If possible tell her I am sorry. Shes the absolutely gorgeous blonde. Stacked to the 9, curves for days, and the confidence and swagger to match. Her, tell her Im sorry.
First experience at Novita was amazing! One of the owners Joe personally brought us to our seat! ! He was so kind . The food was top notch! If your looking for good food and great service Novita is the place!! Miguel our server was super sweet and soo attentive! I will be back very soon!

Happy hour on Friday nights is great. Apps & drinks are discounted with complementary pizza & pasta. The decor and ambiance is lovely. Gets crowded quickly. Nice spot to come to after work with the girls.
Went for brunch on a Sunday. Not crowded. Seated quickly. Patio was still open even though it was cold because they have heating lamps. Food was only OK, but who cares when you have unlimited mimosas served to you in giant wine glasses? LOL. They were really yummy too...made perfectly. I would come here again, no questions asked.

I used to really like this place. The atmosphere is very trendy. Im really annoyed that I ordered Chilean sea bass tonight and I got fake Bass. It looked and resembled flounder. Im really sorry that I didnt mention anything to management. I paid $34 for what should have been a $15 dish because it it was a cheap fish. I will never order anything that is pricey on that menu ever again. For fear of being deceived.
Went last night for Valentines Day and my girlfriend and myself got very sick hours after. Wrong food was brought the first time, wasnt informed that we only had 90 minutes to eat the meal after making the reservation, found out they werent doing the cheese fondu either after getting there.

Amazing dining experience! Our server Ray was great. We went during lunch and it was pretty quiet. We started off with lunch and he came by and let us sample a few red wines and talked to us about how the grapes differed based on where it was grown in italy. The rice balls app were so good. For entree we got a rigatoni ala vodka and a meat/cheese board. Dessert a tiramisu with the dessert wine flight. I fell in love with the brachetto

Very disappointed in the matrade who after I literally just paid for my meal asked us to vacate the table for other customers. We ordered drinks, appetizers, dinner and dessert. You would think after that business they would show some courtesy. Would not recommend coming here again!
Went with my girlfriend to Novita for restaurant week on Long Island and it was an excellent dining experience.The atmosphere was inviting and romantic. Excellent for a Saturday date night. My girlfriend said: this pasta dish is the best thing Ive ever had in my mouth. And while this made me feel slightly insecure, I cannot disagree that the food was quite tasty
The service at this place is not the greatest. I was provided tap water with floating particles and after I asked for it to be replaced the 2nd glass had more floating particles. Gross. The waitress had an attitude and possessed zero customer service skills. I would not return to this place.

Went on a recent night. Typical Long Island cool restaurant. The food is good. We ordered a pizza to start, which was good. My entree was a cavatelli dish that was very good-I thoroughly enjoyed it. My wife had the Rigatoni vodka, which she enjoyed. Our server was very good. Although pricey, we were pleased with this restaurant overall.
Loved Novitá!!! Sunday brunch is to die for with their tomato heaven bisque and their rigatoni pasta omgoodness... staff were super friendly and to of things definitely 2 thumbs up 👌🏽 definitely running back !!
Came here for a girls brunch. Great ambiance, service was friendly, prompt and accommodating. The food was tasty, really liked their spin on common brunch items. Will definitely return.
The renovation is great. I go there very often for their Happy Hour. Selected drinks are $6 and there is a free buffet which is bar pizza, penne a la vodka and another penne dish until 7pm. The bar pizza is very popular so it goes fast, but they do replenish. Staff is friendly. If you go there as often as I do with my friend, they already know what you are going to order. They make a great Nutty Irishman. It is not on the Happy Hour list, but it is worth a try.
I go with my wife to this restaurant a lot! This is the best place to to have a good dinner. I visit this place many times. The meals are fantastic, the staff members are friendly and the price is affordable. I like meeting in this restaurant over a rich meal.

Went on Tues afternoon fairly slow service. Fried calamari was fresh and NOT overly breaded. I ordered the cavatelli with broccoli rabe, it was tasty. Overall a decent experience.

Novita is a cozy staple in the heart of Garden City. The food is incredible, whether it be the vast array of rich pasta dishes or delicious truffle pizza. If after dinner you are in the mood for something sweet, you wont be disappointed to order their fresh gelato. I especially love dining on the lit back patio, but eating indoors is just as warm and inviting.
Food was good, atmosphere excellent and hostess decked to the hills!
Gluten-free pizza was amazing, they clearly use a better crust than most, didnt taste like cardboard or anything
Novita Bottomless Brunch is dynamite! Price is right! The wait was a little crazy even with a reservation but The food and drinks makes up for it! The drinks are awesome very tasty! And the wine selection is awesome! The food is superb!!! The Brocolirabe with sausage is to die for! And the desert rocks as well!
Excellent COVID precautions--food was great in a fun, modern atmosphere. Go here for a safe drink, and pick up a res for a solid meal!
Ive been coming to Novita for a little over a year now. Every employee, from the runners to the bartenders, is extremely accommodating and very friendly. The drinks are outstanding and the food is well presented and all around fantastic. If youre looking for food at the bar the italian nachos are highly recommended. All in all, fantastic spot.

Had a bad experience at this restaurant. Had dinner reservations but decided we wanted to go earlier. When we arrived we told them that and the restaurant looked half empty. They seated us at a side table in a walkway which was very awkward. I asked them to switch our table but they claimed it was all full. So we left and went to a restaurant across the street. They shouldn’t really even use that kind of table for dinner seating.
Top shelf on all aspects, food, service, ambiance. We had 12 at one table and had great service.
Truly one of the most disgusting “italian” places I’ve ever visited. Their food is extremely overpriced. Some of the food like the fried calamari tastes so bland while the pasta tasted like soap. This place is good if you wanna get drunk, but not if you’re looking for good italian food. The whole club theme doesn’t fit the restaurant. It’s a poor excuse for food and an insult to Garden City. If you’ve ever been to Maggiano’s, you’ve been to this place. PLEASE do not go. You can spend your money elsewhere and have a better time. Garbage place.
We went to this place last night, few friends and I. It was very Busy so we decided to order a bottle because we wouldnt want to wait for a drink for 30 to 40 minutes. We ordered 2 bottle for around $450 dollars. They brought the bottles out, within five minutes they took all the glasses away so we had nothing to drink out of. We ask for some assistance and the waitress for some help. She said it was very busy and are sorry for the inconvenience so we understood but the glasses never came. After an hour of waiting there, we had to drink from the bar so we could use the glasses after spending that much money that fast on drinks,we though the service was going to be much better becusse of the bottle we bought, then the manager said we will refund half of your money because of the poor service and when the bill came out they only took 20% off of the $40 bottle and not the $350 bottle. I wouldnt recommend to go back just because of the value customer a showed poor customer service.

My review is based on yesterday’s Saturday brunch. I was there with a friend who ordered her meal and And I had ordered from the brunch special. The cappuccino French toast. The French toast itself was a little bit difficult to cut with a butter knife but what was most upsetting is I asked the waiter for a side of eggs and after I received the check realized that he charged me for an entire 2nd brunch. I wish he would’ve told me that they don’t do a side of eggs. I did not want or need 2 brunch orders. I didn’t say anything at the time because I was interrupted by an upsetting phone call and had to leave. Don’t really think they would’ve done much about it anyway
Went for my sisters Birthday and food was good and service average. Appetizer s we ordered were a Caesars salad, Mozzarella and Tomato and Meatball Crostini. For the mains, two of us had the Lobster Parpedelle in a cream sauce. The Parpedelle was cooked a little too long. The third main Pasta with Ragu. We each had a lemon bars, tiramasu and a canoli. All 3 were good but not great. Took forever to get our coffee. About 10 minutes after dessert and only because we asked again.
Horrible customer service I went there me and my girlfriend for the first time Saturday night on 12/7/19 at about 9pm there were 3 hostess that were very unprofessional I walked in I asked for a table of 2 they asked if we had a reservation which I didn’t know that was required for 2 people I said no they responded you could have a high top or sit outside in the freezing cold we tried to sit outside under the heat lamps which me and my girlfriend were freezing and very uncomfortable the blonde hostess was very rude and I just wanted to move inside to a high top to be warm I saw that there were a few tables opened and asked about them And there were 3 hostesses that could’ve accommodated us but they refused to do so which their were 3 of themAnd they could did something to help us Even if we had to wait and the only high top that was available was with a group of strangers we didn’t know which at that point we walked outEvery restaurant I’ve been to has always accommodated to people regardless of a reservation or not I felt embarrassed because I wanted to take my girlfriend for a nice dinner that is the first time I’ve ever been there And my last the way we were treated us But there are plenty of other businesses that would appreciate my business unlike this place
One of my favorites and go to place for happy hour. Their full menu is varied and they serve large portions. A little expensive but quality eats. The happy hour is limited but its a great deal.
The food was okay- very small portions. Mightve been an okay place for brunch if I had been born the proper skin color. We were the only people of color there and felt like we were reminded as we were unattended and rushed out. Great jobs guys!
Novita is amazing. Completely disregard previous comments about food and service, thats nonsense. I have been coming here since its opened and the food is impeccable and the service is great, always. The wine selection is superb, in fact dont youre not gonna find such a wide variety on the wines by the glass. We were told waiters are tested on their wine knowledge weekly, and the pairing was great so I believe it. Do yourself a favor and go to Novita, oh and they have 50% off bottles of wine on Sunday.
I brought a two tier cake that I made to the restaurant for a birthday celebration in perfect condition. How I know it was in perfect condition is because I checked it in the parking lot just before walking in to make sure it was unaffected by the drive over. The manager that took the cake assured me that it wasnt going to be put in an area that was warm so there would be no melting.During dinner I had to ask for the cake to be brought to the table three different times. The manager finally said it had melted a little and their pastry chef wanted to put it in the refrigerator. That didnt sit right with me so I asked to see the cake. Turned out that it was well past a little melting. The bottom tier was completely smashed in. The owner then tells me that they received the cake damaged and whomever made it put too much filling so thats why it calapsed. Obviously that was a lie and the cake box was clearly dropped. Instead of him taking responsibility for one of his staff members damaging the cake, offering an apology and a resolution to problem, he chooses to be less than professional and ethical and put the blame on me. It wasnt until we went back to the manager to insist something had to be done that she finally admitted they were in the wrong and said they would comp our drink bill. If we didnt push the issue they would have done nothing.
Having my baby shower there in September, but was told by Alban, with whom I booked my party, to come in with friends beforehand and I would be taken care of as an extra benefit I guess. I wasn’t sure exactly what it meant but sounded positive. Came with 4 of my girlfriends for brunch and Alban wasn’t even there, but was sick, so I assumed it meant all bets were off. Time for the check came and the waiter told me, I texted Alban since he knew you were coming in and he said to give you the family discount- 50 was taken off the bill. I was so surprised and happy. Thank you Alban! So far it has been a pleasure ......not to mention the delicious food from brunch ;)
Love this place. The waiting staff is courteous and helpful. The Brunch steak and eggs are delicious and the mimosas and screwdrivers are very good and they keep on coming.
I really enjoy their dishes. I always get great customer service there. The place is well organised and the cashiers are always very friendly. Will come back again.
I celebrated my 30th birthday there and had one of the best nights of my life!!! The staff is great!!!! Food great!!! It’s the perfect place to host and event! I will definately host another event there and highly recommend this establishment!

I was there on a Friday night so it was very busy but the food was great and the service was good. My only complaint is that they were blasting the music and it sounded like early 90s club music.

I have celiac disease and there were problems with the gluten freemenu. But the waiter Alberto was excellent ! He understood my concerns, questioned the chef, and resolved all my issues. I shall certainly be back

I had my daughters baby shower at Novita and everything was excellent. They only charged me for the amount of people that came, and they had more food then I expected, and it was excellent. I also didnt feel rushed. I would definitly reccommend this place, for a nice experience.

Good food. The calamari was cooked perfectly. I forgot the name of my main dish, but it was pasta with short ribs and meatballs, which tasted amazing as well.

2022-01-03I had come here last summer with some friends and had a mixed experience. However, this time it was totally different.I enjoyed some great wine that was complimented by a cheese and a very delicious meat plate.I sat at the bar and had some terrific discussions with my awesome bartender Max. He was really knowledgeable about wines and was passionate about what he does. If I had a business I would definitely want Max to be a key player. He is a star!Im looking forward to coming back soon.

2022-02-20Been here over the years for numerous events but we finally decided to have our baby shower here and we had such a great time. We are super low key laid-back couple and the staff was amazing. They handled everything smoothly. All of our guests continually complemented us on the service and the beautiful venue.

2022-02-06Novita is a very classy and elegant restaurant as soon as you walk in the door. The ambiance makes you feel comfortable and the smells coming out of the kitchen and the tables make your mouth water. The seating is spacious which is a plus. Youre not in tight quarters. Now to the food. The appetizers were delicious. We had the Italian meats and cheeses which were fresh and top grade. The pasta I had was unique and so full of flavor with lobster and pesto. Very delicious! Finally, the staff was very attentive and courteous. Definitely a place I would eat again.

Its best to make a reservation in advance because of how many people go there for lunch. There is a parking lot in the back, so makes finding a spot easy. Would highly recommend!

2022-04-25Booked here for my moms retirement brunch. Most of us live about 40 mins away, but we needed to find a place in Nassau because we had family coming in from CT with small kids. Otherwise never would have booked here. Very glad I did. Everything was outstanding. Food, service, cleanliness, value, everything. Some of the guest at this event manage high end restaurants and country clubs. They tell it like it is. Everyone had a great day!

If you are lucky, after making a reservation for “outdoor” you might be placed in one of the pods, if you are not as lucky, then you will find yourself at one of the 4 or 5 tables without a pod.My experience here was less than stellar, I was placed next to the edge of the tent that was tattered, unsecured, and blowing onto the table (I had to utilize one of the chairs to secure the hazard).The ambiance at my dining table at home is way better. I was very dissatisfied with the seating situation. If pods are not available for ALL, then it’s my suggestion that it be noted for patrons to know when making their reservations.
