Pros: The pricing is reasonable.Cons:- They seem to employ very inexperienced movers, which resulted in damages to my TV due to them storing the TV incorrectly. There were also numerous items they transported upside down.- There seems to be a lack of communication between the various employees - I was told three different processes for handling the aforementioned damages. I would recommend getting things in writing as each employee may give different information.- Management is very rude. Throughout the entire damage process, the management was very standoff-ish in their calls, and insulting in their emails. Very unprofessional!
My experience with them was great! Sadie was very helpful & accommodating on the phone. The movers, Terrence, Timothy and Devonte, were really amazing & professional. They made the move quick & easy. I will definitely work with them again.
PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND HEADACHE. ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH THE CHEAP QUOTE. YOU END UP PAYING WAY MORE!!!!! We scheduled a moving job for a 1 bedroom apt and some house furniture for August 27th. 3 guys showed up with absolute no experience. They were upset because their boss had not given them the day off to go to a family members funeral and wanted to get the job done fast. They started out fine and got some stuff out on time BUT they came with no tools to disassemble or reassemble any of the beds or sofa. My husband did that for them but they left the sofa and armoire in our old apt even though it was part of the quoted price. They bumped and scratched up the walls of our new place. They left ALL our furniture in pieces in our new place, even the tables they just left their. They didnt reassemble the beds and left everything strewn about. They left after 4 hours even though they had not finished the job. I had to pay an ADDITIONAL $875 to handymen and painters to REDO a brand new apartment that they scratched up. I reached out the the owner Mike who sounded like a decent guy and he asked me to send him an email with the complaint. I sent it with pictures and NEVER heard back from him. Its been over a month with NO RESPONSE. I have tried reaching him by phone and email with NOTHING. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND HEADACHE. ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH THE CHEAP QUOTE. YOU END UP PAYING WAY MORE!!!!!
Chris and his A Team are the best movers available! They dont call them the A team for nothing. They are 100% professional and explain the entire process. Chris and his team kept me informed the entire time and make sure you are comfortable. They worked diligently and efficiently throughout the entire move. Our plans changed midday for where to drop off, but Chris and his team were understanding and this is something you wouldnt expect. I cannot recommend them more. Thank you guys for everything!!!

Chris, Raul, and Robb were our A Team of movers. They packed our stuff efficiently and promptly arrived at our new home. All of our belongings were in excellent condition when they arrived. You can trust them 100% with your move.
Had a great move with Chris, Kevin and Anthony! We were really impressed with their professionalism and speed. We moved out of a walk-up and they were champs about it. It took them 3 hours to do a move we were quoted 7 hours minimum by almost every other moving company in NYC. They had a great friendly demeanor and really helped us stay chill during a stressful few hours. Would 1%00 use them again and would recommend them to anyone looking to have a stress-free move with people who know what they are doing!
Chris Hector and The A-Team were the absolute best. Great communication, incredible professionalism. The second they showed up I was able to step out of the packing and move. They moved me from NYC to East Hampton. They treated everything as fragile. The entire things was so smooth - I was able to run last minutes errands while they kept packing and loading up the truck. Would hire them again in a second. Absolutely the best.
Chris and Raul were the absolute A-Team. I had a stress filled move from Bushwick to Park Slope with two flights of stairs and they were fantastic from the jump. I cant imagine moving without them. They were incredibly friendly and honest. Really appreciated the transparency along the way. Would use them again and again and highly recommend.
Mike (owner), Xavier, and Johnny were the an A-Team for me. From a walk-up to another walk-up they killed it. They were friendly, efficient, and professional the entire time. I never felt like a task I had given them was outside their skill set.And as a side note, Mike (not the owner) in their office is dynamite at customer service. He handled all of my calls regarding inventory and scheduling and was always professional and called back very quickly. I loved NYMM and would definitely recommend them!

After many moves in the past, I have to say I never thought moving could be so easy! But NY Minute Movers made the day so completely painless that I have to put this out there... they are the best and you should not hesitate for a NY minute to give them a call! The guys doing the move were so pleasant, cordial, friendly and, most importantly, very quick and so efficient! Care was taken with every piece of furniture that was moved and I am so glad we found such an awesome (and reasonably priced!) company to complete our move.

The team that moved us was awesome. It was a two part move from NYC to Massachusetts and then on to their storage facility. The guys were super polite and careful. They wrapped everything. It was a pleasure to have them handle our move. Michael was also easy to work with in planning this move. I would definitely recommend them.

I live in Philly and I just bought a house. Chris, Hector and Victor were working in the area for a few weeks, so they were the team assigned to me. They were perfectly on time, and moved everything real fast! They were also incredibly responsive and friendly and made my move a million times easier. NY Minute Movers were great! They were flexible and kind with a last-minute re-scheduling, super prompt and responsive (both in arranging the details and the day of the move). The team was efficient, effective and pleasant to deal with. All my possessions were in great shape when they were unpacked and the destination, and the team was cognizant of the pay-by-the-hour system and worked efficiently and with a great deal of communication between team members and myself. Would absolutely use again.

Ive used NY Minute Movers twice now (moving to and from a shipping container) and they have been excellent both times.
They STOLE a 5 Gallon Bottle of coins. The Forman said he doesnt have it, which I believe however one of the movers did steal it because it just isnt in my new home. Its a really horrible thing to get stolen - we have been filling up this bottle for 4 years.

2022-01-16Ive used NY Minute Movers twice and had a wonderful experience both times. Anthony and Terrance were prompt, professional, and friendly. Pricing is really affordable, the team was flexible when I had to reschedule last minute due to illness and I did not have to lift a finger. Would recommend this company to any of my family/friends who are looking for an efficient way to move in the NY area.

Definitely recommend!I unfortunately have to update my review because of the awful experience I had with this company after the move. The movers themselves were great but the owner was completely awful to work with. There was damage to the apartment that the movers assured me the office would handle. For the last two months, this company has been rude, disrespectful, and completely unhelpful as I tried to find a solution for this damage. They have refused to take responsibility and were hostile during discussions. DO NOT hire this company. The liability is not worth it.

2022-05-15Tony, John and Chris were A-MA-ZING!! We had doubts about getting all of the furniture up three flights of a narrow brownstone but they went above and beyond to get everything up in perfect condition!! Plus they are nice, friendly and very helpful. Can’t thank you enough!!

2022-04-19Do NOT use this company!!! They damaged the apartment we were moving out of and REFUSED to pay the cost to fix it. They wont take any responsibility for damage they caused. They were incredibly rude, unprofessional, unresponsive, and disrespectful while we were trying to sort out a way to get the damage fixed and find some resolution to the situation. Use a different company to move!

Xavier, Amen & Jason were courteous, professional and fast. I had a lot of big furniture to move in a narrow walk up, these guys were great. Fair price just as estimated, no hidden fees.

2020-09-20I had THE BEST experience with NY Minute movers. The packed our four bedroom apartment on the upper west side and moved our belongings to the suburbs of Philadelphia. We had not moved in 18 years and, with three sporty children, we had accumulated a lot of stuff. I was impressed with their patience patience packing since we had items squirreled away everywhere and I was very grateful that they were so skilled - nothing broke!The crew who did the actual move was strong, fast and fun. I was grateful for their work ethic and their willingness to wear masks while doing the job.The company has a simple, easy to use website backed by the most responsive customer service - any time I reached out with a question, I got a response back in record time.I am impressed with this operation and fully endorse the piétine experience I had.
