I have been coming here since they first opened and have only had positive experiences. Today, Loki did my nails (I got an acrylic full set) and let me say - he is ABSOLUTELY amazing! The shape I like (between coffin and square) is usually tricky, but I didnt have to explain anything, Loki did it perfectly! He also gave me cool nail ideas/designs (like the stardust), which I really loved. He was really nice and most certainly knew what he was doing. 10/10 - I highly recommend 5 Star Nails, especially Loki!
I am really disappointed. I went on Saturday to get a gel mani for a wedding I had Sunday. By Tuesday morning it was already chipping and coming up the sides. The jagged edges are getting caught in my hair. I feel like this was such a waste of money
The salon was very clean and everyone inside was wearing masks. Henry did a great job with my fresh set and gave me the exact nails I wanted. I’ve been a customer of Phillip and Cindy since the opening of this salon, and it remains my favorite nail salon in Rockland!
Loki is the best !! Super fast, creative and long lasting !Only complaint is the wait for service on pedicures.
I got a manicure here in March of 2021. I never left the house because of Covid and I have a baby to care for. I treated myself to a manicure and a few weeks later I GOT A WART! On my thumb. It is under the nail and although I cannot be 100% sure, I’m very confident that I contracted the virus from my manicure. If you go here, make sure they use clean tools. I have been fighting the wart for a year now. So gross. Will never go back to this place ever again!!
I love this nail salon & it may be a 15 minute drive from me; but it’s super worth it as in my refills usually can stretch out to 3 weeks and still not have my hair tugging onto the over hanging acrylic that some salons usually don’t get rid of .. I always go to Loki! I recommend!
New to the area and was going around salon to salon to see which one could replace my last favorite nail salon but this salon SURPASSES ANY PLACE IVE GONE TO BY A LOT. Third time here and I usually go with Marisol and she’s done an awesome job with my nails I trust her. Had maybe two other staff do my nails also and they were also very good but so far always a great experience.

Im pregnant and I cannot do my own nails.. haha!... but thats fine because Nyack 5 Star nails and spa did a absolutely wonderful job for me! They gave my feet a nice soothing massage❤️. Their prices are pretty good🏷️! I also really appreciate how clean they are compared to some of the other nail salons close by🧼. This is going to be my new go to nail place.
I was a regular guest at 5 Star Nails and I moved 25 miles away. I found something closer to my new home and quickly realized it was not going to stand up to the quality of services you receive at 5 Star! Philip and his team do outstanding work, in a clean sanitized environment, on time and in a very personable and efficient manner! If you dont go here, you should. For me the 25 miles is nothing! Its worth the trip!

Been coming here for 3 months now. My daughter always has Phillip do her fill Ins, And I always really like the way he does them. Today I Just had phillip do my nails and they are the best anyone has done my them since Ive been getting them done! Finally someone that knows what they are doing! Beautiful! He really takes pride in his work. Thank You!
This was my 3rd visit and I had Phillip. I will ALWAYS have him do my nails. Excellent shaping, polished perfectly and super clean.
We are here on a girls weekend and decided to schedule a pedicure last min. We called and were able to get an appointment right away. We waited for about 5 min to be seated, which was acceptable. Marisol was efficient and took her time to clean up my nail beds. I then asked her to also give me a manicure and she was very accommodating knowing she had an appointment coming in in 20 min. She did a great job on my nails too. I never felt like she was rushed even though she probably was. I would highly recommend this salon and Marisol as well.
Hands down one of the best places I been to! They were professional, clean, and did an amazing job. It was my first time there since I’m not from the area, and I will definitely make the the almost 40 minute drive to get my nails done at this salon again. And I just wanna say a special thank you for being open through this mess of a time and to make your costumers feel safe is definitely challenging. But you definitely made me feel safe so thank you guys so much.
Excellent, courteous and professional staff/services. Loki is the BEST nail artist in Rockland County. I would not trust my nails to anyone else. Ive also had several pedicures by different members of the staff and have been pleased with every one. I highly recommend 5 star Nails!!!
My daughter goes to this place so I decide to give it a try and the experience was excellent. The place is very clean, the staff is very friendly and speak English. Also they follow the Covid guidelines which is very important!!! I did my nails with Tina she was very good I also know Carmen from a different location and she is also very good. I highly recommend this place.
I returned to remove the acrylic nails that I had put on 3 weeks ago and replaced with gel nail polish. Desi worked on my nails, she was gentle with the removal, clean and very kind. My nails are done, they look and feel beautiful. I will look forward to going back and having Desi to work with my nails again.
This is my new favorite nail salon. I won’t go anywhere else. I had the most amazing pedicure and SNS FULL SET experience of my life. The pedicure was thorough. They really took their time and did it right. The massage was out of this world. The full set was done by LOKI. This man is not only an artist, he is hilarious! I had so much fun getting my nails done! He is so skilled. I told him I wanted a classy French tip for a wedding this weekend and he did what he called a funky French tip. I am obsessed! The prices here are so fair too! This will be my go to nail salon forever now.
Experience Technicians. But the equipment is old...Pedicure chairs need to be cleaned! Rust Stains are very unbecoming!
If you want a great spa pedicure ask for Yolanda Shes great.Loki is my go to for my nails. Give him an idea of what you want and he gets it right everytime.
Loki is the best !!! 💅🏼😘👌🏼The spa is very clean and orderly as well as COVID safe !! They are always sanitizing between clients and then some !! All staff are friendly, courteous and accommodating. Their prices are fair as compared to other salons and they have a point system to benefit from. I will definitely recommend Nyack 5 Star Nails to my family and friends :)
I will not be back. It doesn’t look like they use sterilized tools for each client. Needs overall cleaning.
Nyack 5 Star Nails & Spa is clean, inviting, and offers plenty of parking spots. Their attention to their customers is on point! Loki is one of the best nail technicians there. He is super knowledge, and gets me in and out the door super quick! They are open on Sundays, which is very convenient. I highly recommend them.
Jally is a wonderful Nail Technician. She is efficient , skillful and precise. She is a hard worker and makes herself available for any of my needs. I have been a client for over 16 years and am very satisfied with the service received.

Decided to get my nails done last minute with my best friend. Was in and out in 30 mins. I decided to get acrylics for the first time in a while and I ended up getting Loki! He was very professional and quality of work was amazing. Definitely will keep going back to him to get my nails done.
Philip is amazing for nails!! Marabella is great for a pedicure!! Very clean and nice place and everyone very nice!! I never been to a better place!! 💕👏🏻 Omg went back to them after a year and I will never go anywhere again I took a break for a year!! Philip and his wife run a clean efficient place!! Philip does amazing a job on nails! I was 15 minutes late and he still did my nails! In and out 45 minutes and perfect fill in! 🤗

I’ve found my new favorite nail spot. I was greeted warmly and in a timely matter. I signed in on their new iPad system, which was quick and efficient,and was shown to a table almost immediately. Loki is an amazing nail tech ! He reshaped me butchered birthday shape that is only has on for a few days rather than giving me a whole new set (which would’ve been quicker) to save me some coin and gave me the exact nail I originally wanted ! Love love love them

I stumbled upon my Nail Technician Norma by chance when I was a walk in on a Sunday last spring. I have been a loyal customer of Norma ever since. Sweet, kind and great service. WONDERFUL!!!!! The people that work there are great! Everyone is very nice! They give you complimentary tea, coffee or water. Beautiful pedicure chairs that are so comfy and message you while you get your toes done. The owner Philip and his wife are super nice and so accommodating to your schedule. Philip has been doing my nails now for about 6 years. I followed him from the old place he worked at to now his own place. I would follow him ANYWHERE lol! If your looking for a new nail salon THIS IS THE PLACE! They also have put up plastic barriers and have masks and lots of sanitizer to keep everyone safe with covid going around. They really care about their customers! During this time with covid going around they have taken AMAZING procedures to keep their clients safe! They are constantly cleaning and sanitizing after every customer! And the bathroom! I have never seen such a clean good smelling bathroom! Cleaner then some peoples houses Ive been in lol! I would literally feel comfortable eating in that bathroom 😁 Its just an all around FABULOUS experience when I go there! I recommend to EVERYBODY!!!!!
Loki is an amazing nail tech! He’s been doing my nails for years, my nails always come out great. He does great work and a timely fashion and always has good ideas when it comes to color and design.

I went there to fix my nail cause they mess up my nail on Friday and on Sunday my nail got mess up I been going there since they open I don’t know what going on if it’s new staff
Henry damaged my nails, he even got super glue on my hand not finger, HANDS . you can tell by his work he does such a poor job, As if he’s careless. I went to him the first time I didnt like it I even had to come back the next day cause he forgot to shape my nails !!! I still tipped him $10. I came a 2nd time They Just automatically assigned me to him again! I didnt want him. I didnt say nothing because I didn’t want to sound rude. i’ve been wearing Gel for yearsssss nothing like this ever happened to me the whole nail came off with my real nails cause It was melted into the tips. I have to wait for my nail to heal & grow back before I can get them done again SMHH!! NEVER COMING BACK HERE !!!

I had one specific person I liked and they are no longer there. Today I finally was able to go back and received a new gentleman. I was weary, but boy was he AMAZING Loki. So personable, fun, jokes, and makes you feel at home. Best experience I have had yet and I have been going for the longest time. HE’S AWESOME!!!!!
Loki did an amazing job on my nails. I got gel tips at another salon and they were thick and uneven, Loki worked hard to make them look natural and I am so happy with the results. I wish I would taken a before and after picture, he’s mentioned a lot in the Rockland FB groups and now I see why! Totally worth it.
I had a wonderful experience at 5 Star Nails. The Solon was absolutely spotless and spacious. Necessary hygiene practices utilized to accommodate workers and costumers safety during COVID. 2022-01-10I really like the work they do here. Tina was very precise with doing my acrylic nails and gel manicure.The only issue I have is that they do not use clean tools. They used that tool to get rid of my old gel and without cleaning it I saw her take it over and start working on the next person. Same with the scrub brushes for the pedicure. I had to ask them to use new files etc bcz someone else’s dead skin cells were still on the one she started using initially. She got a new one no problem but that’s not something you should need to ask, right??Needless to say, I was very pleased with the end result. Very nice.

2022-07-01My name is TASHA and I have been coming to 5 stars for years since they have opened. LOKI, jolly and Tina have serviced me and have done a amazing job every time. There are times I forget to book my appointment lol and they fit me in refuse to go anywhere else, very clean place as I have been there first thing in the am and have watched them scrub the place down so it’s very clean. BEST PLACE TO GO GET YOUR NAILS DONE!!

2021-07-23Been going here for a while now I’m EXTREMELY picky with my nails and haven’t found any one better then LOKI!! He always takes his time and does exactly what I ask for and more I leave happy every time & im always getting compliments on his work. I haven’t found any one better then him in the past 15 years that does my nails specifically how I ask.10/10 recommend him!! The salon is extremely clean everyones super friendly & prices are always fair for their services.

2022-07-01I have found this place to be very professional, clean and friendly. When I first arrived. I ask for a person who know how to do hands and feet who where very l experience. I was introduced to Tina and Bianca. They have always done an excellent job. I am a diabetic and very concern about my health as safety. Always clean and if I want certain things done like cut nails, clean ingrown toe nails and shave down my calluses when needed. If I see something I don’t like I ask for it to be fixed. It is done. Always professional and welcoming in this salon. They are never in a rush to get you out the door. Know their people customers by name. I have been to other salon that just rush you out the door and charge much more for less. I finally found a salon I can trust.

2021-07-295 stars where? Very unprofessional. I told them I was a 1st time customer, they gave me to some old guy that came from outside, did not wash his hands. They didnt ask me to wash my hands knowing I was getting SNS which you have to dip your fingers into the powder. All the tools used were dirty and clearly just used. The brush he used to brush my fingers off, he used to brush off his desk. As you can see from the pictures my cuticles and under my nails were not touched! I paid $40 for service that was $12 at best! Oh, I came in asking for a mani/pedi and when my nails were done, I was told to go to the pedicure stations and I declined. No one cared to even ask why I was declining a service. I work for a large company will not recommend. Tired of poor services with high price tags!!

2022-06-02I use to go to them a long long time ago and it was great then. However, my recent visit has turn my opinion around. Unfortunately, the cleanliness has went down, the nail tech was very aggressive AND did not do a great job AT ALL. I mentioned to the tech that I often get ingrown toe nails, unfortunately since I’ve been pregnant. None of the ingrown were removed, annnndddd days later my left toe was infected and needed to seek medical attention. Ewwwww will never ever go back.

2022-06-09I have been to this salon before for fingernails but this was my first pedicure. I had Sun as my technician who is very friendly and smiles a lot. I’ll admit I have had issues with discoloration on my big toenails, some thickening there and lots of calluses. I’m afraid to really do too much to my toenails myself as a diabetic as foot issues can lead to gangrene. Yuck.Sun provided the most comprehensive and detailed pedicure I’ve ever received and at the end my feet and nails looked perfect, like you would see in an ad for sandals. Her equipment was sterilized or disposable depending on item. The regular service consisted of washing, scrubbing, massaging the feet, clipping and filing the nails using a wee dremel if needed, buffing, cuticle work, polishing. I elected to have the callous removal for as small additional fee and was very pleased how soft my skin looked and felt. All of this took approximately 45 min.This was the best pedicure I’ve ever had and I will definitely be back! Thanks, Sun! ☀️

2022-03-20Jally is my amazing Nail Tech. She is always on time and does my mani and pedicures on point every time. Her work is very neat. The place is always clean and the customer service is above standard. I would recommend this place and Jally 100% of the time.

2021-04-13Great nail salon for a pedicure. The environment is very clean and I havent seen many establishments go so far as having a protective screen for services, which is impressive. Ive felt like my money was well spent as my pedicure didnt feel rushed. Will definitely come back again.
