We took the five bridges tour and it was one of the best city tours Ive ever been on, and certainly the highlight of our trip. Rick did an excellent job explaining the route and points of interest along the way. The walkie talkie helmets were a nice touch and made sure everyone in the group could communicate. Highly recommend NYC Adventure eBikes!

NYC Adventure is a must do activity in New York! We have booked Old Putnam Trail eBike Tour for 4 people in the late July. Before the departure we received all necessary instructions on how to operate the electric bikes and even were provided with sunblock and water for our ride. Our tour guide took us north to the beautiful hills and mountains of Westchester County. The bikes were very comfortable to ride and pedal assist did help greatly putting in almost 35 miles! It was amazing to witness the change of scenery from the hustle and bustle of the city to the peaceful country ride in the forest.NYC Adventure will take you on better routes than you’d ever find on your own. And they really put their clients safety first, starting from Covid safety practices to ensuring that most of the tour is happening in the bike lanes. Even if you think that you know the city, the tour will expand your horizons a little more!
It was my family’s favorite activity during our week stay in NYC. Great way to visit the favorite touristy and local unique spots.Rick was an awesome guide!Highly recommend!
My husband and I took the Iconic 5 Bridges Tour in NYC on 12/26/19 with NYC Adventure EBike Tours. I was so excited to do this tour and I am glad we did because it far exceeded my expectations exponentially.When I booked the Iconic 5 Bridges Tour online I was able to review the tour route, get a detailed description of the bike tour and route, see photos, review FAQs that answered every question I had about how to prepare/what to bring for the tour, sign our waivers, provide my ID information and all of this saved a ton of time on tour day.We went across all five bridges located in Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens which was very exciting, however the tour was filled with so much more to see, Rick the owner/tour guide is a life-long New Yorker and explained so many things along the way that was so helpful. He took us to beautiful parks, buildings and waterways all while during the 5 bridge tour, gave us helpful information and a history lessons on many of the sites we saw, pointed out places that would be great to come back and view on our own, suggested the best mode of transportation when returning. He knows New York inside/out and how to navigate the roads to keep you safe.We did a total of 23 miles in all, took 3 hours, which may sound like a lot, but it was so much fun and informative I did not realize we had gone that far. If I can do this, almost anyone could do it, I am a more mature adult, had knee surgery 3 years ago with limited mobility in my right knee, however I had no problem with getting on and off the bike and peddling part of the way, but mostly using the electric the majority of the ride which was the fun part for me, but I felt renewed after the bike ride.One more thing to mention, we included the video movie in our tour package and the video that Rick put together of our tour was AWESOME, he videotaped us along the entire bridge tour using two different cameras, I LOVED THE VIDEO, each time I look at the video I relive the tour all over again, he edited it, put music to it and everyone I’ve shown the video was WOWWED! In addition, he took pictures of us that document all of the wonderful things we saw along the way. I could not ask for anything more.My husband and I love cycling, this was not our first electric bike tour, we took an electric bike tour in Venice Beach, LA in Nov. 2019 and we also rented electric bikes in Spring Lake, New Jersey and went out on our own in May 2019. But by far this was the BEST e-bike tour I have ever done, and the bikes are superb and easy to ride. But most of all we THANK Rick, the owner of NYC Adventure EBike Tours, he was patient, and so understanding because I was acting like a kid in a candy store, we had so much fun and really enjoyed the tour, we appreciate Rick sharing all of his knowledge about New York, we could have never have done this without him. This was the highlight of our trip to New York City.
Rich was a fantastic guide and teacher. We rented the big EBikes which I am grateful bc the blow Citibikes away and they were VERY FUN and easy to ride. Little speakers in the helmets were cool bc we could talk to each other even when really far away from each other which made it easy to keep track of my teen daughter who I was riding with. DEF COMING BACK next NY trip!
By far one of the most fun tours Ive ever taken. The only way to see NYC in my opinion. Better than sitting on a bus and you cover more ground than you ever could by walking. Rick is a great guide and fearless leader. He knows NYC intimately having lived there his entire life.
The owner of NYC Adventure eBikes, Rick, is the ultimate New Yorker and knows every nook and.cranny of NYC including all of the safe places to ride a bike. My boyfriend and I took the Iconic 5 Bridges tour and is was a highlight of our trip. We got to see much more than just the bridges...hidden parks, Central Park, local neighborhoods, the greenway bike route. The tour includes helmets with audio, so Rick could talk as we rode and we could ask questions. We are experienced e-bike riders, but regardless, Rick ensured our safety throughout the tour by making sure that we were on dedicated bike lanes or greenways the entire time. I highly recommend this tour!
Fantastic eBike tour. Rick was very knowledgeable about the city and he did an awesome job of taking us through various parts of the city. We even had an opportunity to stop along the way at an awesome Pizza place and a new exhibit near the Hudson Yard. Rick was extremely accommodating & encouraging.
Really enjoyed the tour. The bikes are HIGH quality. The helmets have radios so you can hear everyone. The tour guide is well informed. Perfect day.
We rented ebikes for a couple of hours and it was awesome! Every last detail was thought out, from the large bags with multiple zippered pockets on the backs of the bikes, to the poncho stashed there in case of rain, to the horn in addition to bike bell, and the phone mount, maps, and friendly suggestions and recommendations. Our favorite bonus feature was the built-in bluetooth walkie talkie helmets so you can talk to each other (hands free) as you ride! And of course the bikes themselves were amazing! The location is perfect with so many options of places to go and ride and sightsee. We were blown away by how friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and easygoing the owner was. Thank you for a wonderful experience and we look forward to coming back again! Highly recommend!

Ricky knows NYC like nobody else. He is the coolest guy I know and will make sure you enjoy your bike tour. The electric bikes make it real easy and fun to cover a ton of ground and see whatever you want from great angles. Its the fastest way to get around NYC and the most fun. Lots of tours to do as well. Tell him I sent you. He should remember me...no, I do not get a commission.
Rick troubleshot my bike on the sidewalk for an hour, then coordinated the warranty repair with Sondors. Fantastic. Second time Rick put me back on the road. Awesome shop. Nice inventory too!
The tour was fantastic, enabling us to cover 8 miles of beautiful views and secret gems of NYC! Rick was a terrific host, giving us interesting bits of history and great action photos!
This is a must do if you love the city lights. We did the 5 bridge tour and I tell you it was a experience I would of never had if it wasnt for Ricky Bernstein. I grew up in the city but I was able to experience it in a different way. His bikes are awsome all decked out with lights very fun. Very safe due to his tours are mainly in bike lanes. Hes very friendly and gave us a unforgettable experience thanks again. Highly recommend.
NYC (Manhattan) in a day!If you are looking for an electric bike tour that covers all the must see sites in NYC then you need to book the Manhattan Sightseeing/Photo Tour (view on website tour highlights) with NYC adventure ebike tour!Our friendly informative guide Rick went above and beyond over the 5hours plus bonus 1.5hrs (to be fair it was more than 2hrs :) as he threw in a couple surpises) to ensure our needs were met on our private tour. We got to experience biking the city as a New Yorker and see sights on and off the beaten tourist track.If you only have a few days in New York I would highly recommend this tour as you will get to see all the NYC highlights in a day. This tour is packed with must sees in NYC and does go for a period of 5 plus hrs so it may not be for everyone but the ebike make the ride a lot easier. After a day of riding we were both pooped but happy we got to take in the highlight of Manhattan.Thanks Rick for taking the time to show us your home city I will definitely be recommending your tour to anyone I know who will be visiting NYC in the future.

I rented a bike, and because of my own fault I used up the entire battery without paying attention and ended up stranded in the city a large distance from the shop to return it, ebikes are heavy, there was no chance I could pedel it back, but the owner, left his shop with nobody to replace him, rode a fresh ebike all the way to where I was at and gave me it, and peddled the dead, heavy ebike a long distance back to his shop, all for free, just to help me. Absolute legend, one of the good ones, he’s the man

2021-08-12I can honestly say that the NYC Adventure E-bike Tour was the highlight of our recent trip to NYC. My wife and I opted for the 3 hour, 5-Bridges Tour. Rick Bernstein, the owner and our tour guide, is a super-knowledgeable native who knows all the little nooks and crannies of Manhattan and the surrounding Burroughs. He’s a very energetic and engaging guy and he ensured that our outing was super fun and educational. In my opinion, there is no better way for someone to experience all of the best that Manhattan has to offer during the course of one afternoon than via e-bike. You are immersed in the sights and sounds of the city, and we were amazed at the number easily navigable bike lanes, back ways, and greenbelts, many of which, even experienced New Yorkers are likely not aware of. The e-bikes we were provided were very comfortable and capable and Rick has them dialed-in which instills confidence from the moment you straddle the saddle. One of the best features of our outing was that Rick also provides bicycle helmets with integrated microphones and speakers so that you can converse with the group naturally without having to turn your head, shout, or take you hands off the bars. Do yourself a favor and book a tour with NYC Adventure E-bike Tours, there are many options to choose from and you won’t be disappointed. Pro tip – book your tour on a weekday to avoid all the weekend warriors out on the trails.

2021-07-05This is the best tour I have ever been a part of. The best part is these tours are private to your friends or family. You will love Rick. He is a great guy and a life long New Yorker who will show and tell you about everything you want to know about NYC. You will never be able to see NYC like you will on this tour. These e-bikes give you views you wont get in a car or a tour bus. The traffic alone will take you days to cover what we did in 3 to 4 hours. The e-bikes allow you to get to the coolest and most scenic parts of NYC. I have done several e-bike tours and I own an e-bike but I learned so much from Rick. Next time I am back in NYC I will be back for one of the other tours offered. But I highly recommend the 5 bridge tour.

2022-05-08The Iconic 5 Bridges E-bike tour is the ultimate way to experience the city of New York, it was the highlight of all the experiences we had and we would STRONGLY recommend it to everyone! In 4 hours we traveled between boroughs, going over 5 bridges, accompanied with great information from our tour guide Rick and fell in love with the city... E-bikes are easy to use and we didnt feel tired at all. We will definitely join his other tours, THANK YOU RICK!

2022-06-12Rick the guide is FABULOUS: My son and I took a private (the way to go) ride on the Iconic Bridges Tour...Rick is extremely informative and go to great lengths for his customers to ensure a fantastic experience. Born and raised in NYC, Rick knows and shows every nook and cranny of the city. His helmet audio system allows for constant communication between he and riders and riders and each other--makes for great conversation. He also uses the audio system to point out even obscure landmarks and for safety tips along the way. His attention to detail calls out broken glass on path, makes riders aware of cars, bikers and pedestrians in crowded areas. A great leader; no need for rides to worry about where to go or how to get there.Rick is an interesting guy and shares his lifes journey of travel around the world as well as his in-depth knowledge of New York City.The Bridges tour was truly a fun route exposing us to Brooklyn and Queens as well as Manhattan; crisscrossing the East river a few times.The next day I took the full Manhattan sightseeing and photo tour..WOW. have spent a lot of time in the city over the years but this provided up close and personal views of all of the great things The Big Apple has to offer. We also traversed Harlem and the Bronx (an add on). This was just Rick and me and it was a whirlwind of activity, sights and eats.I look forward to his Coney Island ride next time I am back...

2022-04-29The most fun you can have getting to know NY city. Want to be treated like royalty???......We were! Our host while sharing his vast knowledge of history around the city was also willing to make it the best personal experience we could have. Pics, selfies, videos, snacks, fun on the ebikes....from start to finish. Cant wait to do it again with more friends.

2021-06-23We took the 5 bridge tour with Rick. It was a great exploration of NYC with excellent guiding and narration by Rick. It starts on the upper west side which is really convenient for people staying in Manhattan and the bikes were insane. I think I averaged 17 mph over the 25 miles. Rick also took almost 200 photos, we really got some amazing pictures. I cant recommend enough, absolutely the best part of our trip. Thanks Rick

2021-11-17One of the best tours we have had in NYC. The iconic bridge tour was excellent for great sightseeing of Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn parks and skyline. The owner gives the tour and is very knowledgeable NY sites, landmarks, history, etc. He was prepared and organized, bikes and blue tooth communication helmets were awesome. Guide takes pictures and videos along the route and stops for pictures whenever requested. At conclusion he provides an awesome video of the entire tour (25 miles in this case) that traces the route taken and pictures/videos taken at sites along the way. Really professional and top notch. Worth doing and will be doing it again on next trip to NYC.

Rick was knowledgeable on all the bike routes in the city and very flexible in making sure we got the most enjoyment from the tour right down to providing hand warmers, a beanie cap and multiple recommendations of bakeries in the area to buy black and white cookies! Will definitely use Rick in future EBike tours. Highly recommended.

2022-06-26Robert is a great guy and awesome tour guide. My wife and 2 daughters (ages 15 and 16) did the 5 bridges tour on ebikes. The equipment was excellent. Helmets with microphones allowed a great dialogue with Robert as he safely took us through many of his favorite spots in Manhattan, Central Park, LI City and Brooklynn. A great way to really get a feel for Manhattan by cycling around its contours and listening to Robert describe both the history of all the growing enclaves as well which places he considers hot spots. This trip was a real highlight for us - strongly recommend it for both visitors and natives of the NYC area. Thanks Robert!!!
