Just went to the BoE today 10/01/2021.They dont have the absentee ballot box downstairs anymore... At least for now.To submit your absentee ballot in person.1. sign in with the guard show your Id, get your photo taken.2. Go to the 10th floor3. Go to the BoE room through a glass door. Theres a box where you can deposit your ballot. No line.

For 2020 voting needs, you do not need ID, you do not need to sign in, you do not need to go upstairs. They have tables out on the sidewalk for what looks like registration and requesting absentee ballots, and just inside the (open) door on the ground floor there is a manned drop box for sealed completed ballots. Its very easy to do your civic duty in a quick and socially distanced way. Also they now open at 9am.

They made it very easy to drop off my absentee ballot. There was a dropbox in the first floor lobby with 2 people supervising the box. It was quick and easy!

Really friendly and helpful staff (not always a given for government agencies), no one was there when I went so waiting time was nonexistent, form was easy to fill out etc. Thank you very much :)

Friendly staff. But when asked if they had any election pamphlets with the details of the propositions in the ballot i was there to fill out, they didnt have any.Wait...what?Where should I go for those? Macys?
