ALWAYS hassle free, on tie or more likely EARLY for pick up! Drivers are cordial and friendly and always very polite and friendly. Will talk if you want to, won’t if you don’t. I Will NEVER use another car service, and if someone else is footing the bill, I request the 7’s!!
The ability to schedule the pick up in advanced was great. The driver was little late, about 15 mins. which I could understand. However, I booked a luxury vehicle and paid a little extra for it. I was picked up in a Lincoln town car that was a little shaky and the AC did not work. I was hot. I had done my hair right before flying to NYC as I was heading straight to a meeting. My hair frizzed from the sweat coming down my neck as we drove through the midtown tunnel.
Booking was easy but the cab was very late. The service called to say that the car had arrived but it turns out they had sent it to the wrong address. We tried to give them the right address but they hung up on us. Classy.Eventually, we did manage to track down the driver and the ride was quick (although late). The car was nice, I guess.
A VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMERI had an incredibly important family event to attend. I reserved a Dial7 car the night before, online. The pickup was scheduled for 7:45am. I was terribly concerned that I would oversleep, as I work late nights and normally dont/cant get up that early. The morning of the event, despite my best efforts and alarms(!), to my horror I woke up at 8am! If anyones ever gone through that, you have that panic moment of Am I going to miss this, or is there still the chance - against all odds - that I can make it? (I live on the UWS and had to be in Yonkers at 9am!). The first thing I did was call the driver, who had called me when I missed the pickup time. First of all, he was still there, even though I had missed the pickup time. I explained the situation and how upset I was that I overslept and would miss this once in a lifetime event (my nephews Ordination into the priesthood). I told him I needed a little time to get ready and asked if we left at 8:30 did he think we could still make it? He said yes, and that he would wait. So, I raced around and showered and suited up in 30 minutes (which was not easy, as Im no spring chicken anymore!). I got downstairs at 8:30. The car was lovely, and comfortable and the driver was professional and courteous...and, off we went...I didnt think we could make it, but sure enough, WE MADE IT RIGHT ON TIME! Had I not reserved a car through Dial7, I would have NEVER made it and would have missed a really special and once in a lifetime event. I AM SO GRATEFUL! I give you 5 stars, Id give 10 if that were an option! Thank you so much! - David L., Manhattan, NY, A VERY satisfied customer.
I totally rely on dial7. I am not able to walk well & i have appointments far from home. They are always on time for pick up & return trips. The drivers are excellent & the cars are clean & comfortable. Plenty of leg room especially because it is difficult to get my leg in and bending it is hard.
The company credit card my associate had on file was not current and thus was declined. We had another credit card on file that IS current. Rather than call us, who booked the car to resolve the issue, the drivers and dispatch harassed my clients, who were the passengers. These passengers were high-profile celebrities. When I stated to the dispatcher “I don’t know what the f*** is going on, but this needs to stop” they responded with incredulity and rudeness that I was upset. If you are planning on booking celebrities or clients or even have a reasonably more professional experience than Uber look elsewhere.
I travel to New York weekly and have used multiple Limo services and by far Dail 7 is the best service Ive used. From their online web reservation process to pickup, they have been very reliable and friendly. Key to me is reliability to be at the pick up location on-time and ready to go and they are the only service Ive found to work at making sure that happens.
Wish I could give a zero. For the trip from LGA to the city driver was late as he went to the wrong place even though he had flight number. For trip from the city to LGA driver did not show. After waiting 10 minutes I called. Driver had picked up the wrong party. I was put on hold then for another 15 minutes do I hailed a cab to avoid missing my flight. Dial 7 offered a $5 coupon for my trouble🙄. I had used them for years. Service had worsened and now has hit rock bottom. Do not use. They do not care if they mess up.
Dial 7 (used to be Tel Aviv) has been my preferred car service for years. They have always been reliable. The drivers are friendly and accommodating, and the cars are always clean and comfortable. I never hesitate to recommend Dial 7, and am happy to have a service that is always dependable .
Ive been using Dial 7 Car Service for some years now and all I have is wonderful things to say about them. The office and drivers are professonal and courteous, the drivers are consistently on tiime, and the cars are clean and comfortable. They are a bit pricey, but worth it not to have to try and hail a cab, and know youll get to your destination on time, especially in rainy weather.
I have been a customer for many years and have lost all faith inDial 7after numerous attempts to keep using them as it for me was path of least resistance. The customer service is horrible, the dispatchers are inexperienced and if you ask for a supervisor there is nobody to speak to.They send out these stupid surveys and if they receive a bad comment they write you back and apologize .... Very impersonal...I recently made the jump to a company who is smaller and personalized where the owner himself welcomed our corporate account.I strongly suggest that you look at other companies than Dial 7 as every experience with them this year has been nothing but horrible.
I have found the quality to be inconsistent and the company unresponsive to complaints. My wife and I are senior citizens with disabilities, and on our last JetBlue flight into LGA Terminal A the driver refused to come up to the curb to pick us up- and we had several large suitcases, I had indicated this need on my written reservation which was accepted and confirmed by the company and yet when we arrived and I called the driver to confirm our location he refused to come and stayed across several lanes. We had used the 7”s and other companies previously, and the officers always let the cars in for the disabled as I tried to explain but the driver refused to budge. Other black limos were able to pick up as were yellow cabs! When I complained after the fact and pointed out the written reservation and that is was accepted but not fulfilled the company refused to acknowledge any fault on their part. So — senior citizens beware of the 7’s.
Do not use this service. Booked online and their database pulled up wrong address. My daughter tried to confirm correct address with the driver and he starts yelling at her and would not listen. He takes them to the Bronx instead, drops them off and they have to get new driver into the city. Already aid $70 for one ride and they only gave me a $20 discount for second ride. $120 ride into city. Just use Lyft or Uber. This service is a ripoff .
Overall very pleased with service - the notification of confirming and on area of the driver is very helpful-You may want to consider a way after each ride to rate the driver - on time- courteous - cleanliness of the car - etc and for high scores a reward system for the drivers -
The drivers are usually on time, even early and the cars Re mostly well kept so that is a plus. My complaint is the way the tolls to EWR are figured. The original fare was $53 because I had a $5 coupon. I wound up paying $80 including tip and tolls. How did that work out? I will never use dial 7 forEWR .
Ride from EWR to Manhattan was great. From hotel to airport: A. ordered luxury sedan and SUV arrived. B. Driver had to be encouraged to help load the car. C. Driver never got out of car at airport. D. Empty water bottle in last row of seats where I had to sit with no headroom to accommodate bag in passenger front seat. Two stars only to show appreciation for ride from airport to hotel. Management has not answered any of my emails or surveys from their webpage.
Nothing to like...driver took us through time square which wasnt correct route taking almost 2 hours to travel 4 miles...ultimately never made birthday dinner reservations as entire rental period was spent in car...however, driver did take correct route back to apartment taking only 15 minutes then requested cash for gratuity not once but twice...I would not recommend
In general I have had great experience with Dial 7, but one bad experience has stayed vividly in my mind. A few years ago, I arranged to be picked up at Newark Libery after a flight from London. It was a scorching hot summer’s day. I called as instructed and proceeded as I was told to do.I stood in the hot sun for over 30 minutes with no sign of the car. Finally an arrogant man with an Swami head wrap showed up. “where have you been?” I asked. “Having my lunch” he said and the food wrapping in the car suggested that he’d been eating in the air conditioned car while I was sweltering in the sun. When we arrived at my apartment in Long Island City, I gave him a $10 tip—a smaller amount than I usually give. The driver looked at the $10 and said, “You’re supposed to give me a $20 tip.” I took my bag and walked into my building without saying a word.I decided to try another car service after that but did not. I decided it was unfair to do so, given all the good service I’d received over the years from Dial 7. So I still use Dial 7 and am glad I do. MORAL: one rotten driver can really do harm to your reputation and your business.James Leheny
In the age of Uber, Lyft and Via, I want to express my thanks for the services provided by Dial 7. My last experience was a perfect example. I can order a car to be at my door at a precise hour, and it arrives, with a clean car, a driver who knows the city, and courteous care.
The worst Carservice ever. If you have an account they always drew up phone numbers or they dont exist. Cars are dirty and I lost all my faith in them. I am looking for a new Carservice now. I called the owner and left a message they dont even care to call back. Badly run business. I am never using them ever again.
Dial7btold us the driver would arrive at our airport pickup in 3 minutes; it took closer to 10. We would have cancelled had we known the truth. Asif then drove parallel for some distance to a truck clearly not being driven under good control. He remarked on it. I suggested he either pass the truck or fall back. He launched into a tirade about good a driver he was and he knew what he was doing. We did not feel safe. We would not accept a ride with Asif again.
For starters, the driver was UNBELIEVABLY rude. He made us wait an hour, didn’t go to the place where his own company said he would pick us up, and then proceeded to tell me I was being too difficult and to just cancel the reservation. I called the company to complain and they basically told me I must be mistaken. Secondly, I paid for a luxury sedan and got a Toyota and paid for him to meet us inside which obviously didn’t happen. Worst experience EVER. Don’t waste the money. An Uber from LGA to Manhattan is only $40
The driver was unprofessional and he wanted to drop me(a tourist )off in a middle of nowhere because I had an issue with my credit card. He was talking to me like I was a thief trying to get away with his money. He called the customer service and the assistance told me that my credit card did not go through and if I dont have cash the driver has to drop me where we were, then she hanged up on me. Next, when the driver sees the color of my money, he was trying to explain his bad behavior. It was a really bad experience for me and I wont use this company again because they do not know how to deal with customers at all.
The drivers are nice, the cars are nice. The price is decent..... if you have a lot of time on your hands. Most people who order a private car don’t, including me. They will charge a fortune for waiting on you. But they won’t even dispatch a car until your plane lands and you answer the email link. Last time I waited almost 45 minutes at LGA for my car. In the cold. In a garage. Everyone who got off the plane at same time and ordered an Uber were long gone. What’s the point in scheduling a car if it’s not there when you need it? They knew my plane landed; they texted me before I was even off. They know in advance if your flight is delayed. It’s just unacceptable. They blamed it on LGA but any car service in NYC knows what to expect at LGA on Friday afternoon. When you add on the added traffic, their bad service cost me well over an hour. Not acceptable. They offered me a $10 coupon when I complained. It’s not worth it. I’d rather use someone else and not have to lose an hour every time (which is 22 times/ year.... so if they don’t value my business, they won’t value yours)
Dangerous driving--we were all terrified. Both rides--going to and from Newark Airport into NYC--were equally harrowing. Driving way too fast, weaving in and out of traffic, tailgating, slamming on the breaks, etc. Wont book with Dial 7 again--would rather risk a rideshare than commit to this kind of terrifying experience.
Absolutely the worst car service system I have ever dealt with. Today was my first and last time using this service. First when I scheduled my pickup to take me to LGA, the driver shows up 25 minutes early, and then calls me and tells me to hurry because traffic is bad headed to LGA. We arrived in exactly how much time Google Maps estimated. Then on my return trip, I scheduled a pickup from LGA for a 8pm pickup. They do not let you skip entering your flight information in and only select a pick up time. The pickup time is now set to 7:40pm on the app because it is using flight information rather than letting me select a time to. Which is fine and a cool feature if it worked. The app is the worst software I have seen for Android and it must have decided to send a car to LGA for my takeoff time instead of arrival because as I was boarding, the app tells me a driver is 10 mins away from arrival. So I contact the driver who speaks very little English. I finally get him to understand what is wrong and he says he will contact Dial 7 and sort it out. Then 5 minutes later, I get another text saying another driver is on the way. Again the system sent a driver to LGA while I am sitting on the plane hundreds of miles away. So I cancel the ride outright and reschedule thinking there is a problem with that reservation. A 3rd driver is dispatched to LGA while I am still sitting in the plane waiting for takeoff. Now the app wont even load because it is in this weird loop where it keeps saying my driver has arrived but wont let me access anything else. Their customer service department has bankers hours so I couldnt even contact someone directly to get this sorted out. They closed at 5pm. I am very disappointed in Dial 7 as they are one of the few NYC car services with okay reviews. I ended up taking a cab home instead. I will not be attempting to use this service again. Dial 7 needs to hire some proper coders to fix their Android app, their automated system and increase their customer service hours. If you offer rides 24/7, then you should have support staff available to your customers during that time.
Tanaia, the dispatcher who handled the scheduleing of our care service for my bosss guest Jeanne Sargent. Tanaia was professional, attentative, knowledgeable, and very friendly. I loved the customer service your employee exhibited. She was very patient as I asked a million questions and covered the details more than four times. She smiled through that phone the entire time. You need to have her teach phone customer service. Tell her that I will use her car service for my bosss clients needs for now own just because she wowed me!!!Sincerely,Kenya A. BellNew York, NY
First of all the cab driver had the wrong address and I was already late. Then when he took me to the right destination he was asking for this fare. Then I miscounted and then he started yelling and insulting me. Yea I made a mistake about the fare but that cab driver is one of the worst human being. The service is trash don’t do it
We reserved a car three hours early. Car arrived 15 minutes late. We missed our theater opening. It wasnt the drivers fault. The dispatchers lied to us and to the driver. We had to turn around mid-way. Dial 7 reduced the fare from $45 to $35 for a ride that took us us nowhere, and it was their fault. Absolutely terrible. And customer service was indifferent.
I rather put no stars why I called to to be picked up a female operator told me 15 minutes called 20 minutes later. Have me waited another 18-25 for the next one the male operator told me dispatch send my driver to another. Having me wait in the cold while it waiting. dail 7 is a mashugana so I called Carmel
I booked a ride for my parents from Newark to Manhattan. My parents were abroad for the first time and did not speak English well. I asked for a shuttle service and a driver to wait for them with a sign, I was told the total cost is $ 132 including toll roads. I paid with credit. In fact, while driving my parents, I got a call from the driver asking me to add and pay another $ 12 for airport parking and an extra $ 42 (!!!) for his waiting time in the field! Why was it not included in the original bid? Why did these additions come as a surprise while providing the service? When I have no choice or choice?A total of $ 190 went from Newark to Manhattan.I had no idea these were the expected costs - cut me out with the Salami method!Angry, upsetting, unfair, not services and unprofessional. In short, beware!

2021-07-05I was expecting a level of service better than Lyft or Uber but it was far worse. The driver was on time and waited patiently for my celebrity guest but got lost to an address that is so simple. The language barrier was so bad he could not spell simple English words like Rock. I sent him my Google Maps GPS location to have it direct him from there. He was unable to use technology nor a guided tour straight down the West Side Highway the first turn around heading south past Christopher Street - Clark Street coming from Central Park. It was a frustrating experience and the driver didnt seem to care and dropped off my passenger 4 blocks away in the hot sun. I had to go and greet them and take away from other responsibilities and making the experience nothing like the commercials I see every 5 minutes

2019-04-03We used Dial 7 for the last 3 visits to New York (both too and from airport) and I cannot fault them! The cars arrive quickly/on time and are clean and the drivers are courteous. You are kept up to date via email/text message on arrival times etc and all fares are calculated beforehand (so no nasty surprises!). I would definitely recommend this company and will use again in the future.

2019-11-08For years, I have depended on Dial 7 for excellent car service in NYC. The drivers are always professional yet friendly, and its always a pleasure to ride with them. The Dial 7 mobile app works fine, but the phone call center for customer service is also great if you need to talk to a live person for any reason after making arrangements online - everyone is knowledgeable and nice. Basically, they do everything well and have been doing so for many years. I use other services in other cities, but for me, when in NYC, its always Dial 7.

2019-02-27Good experience! Hadnt been to NYC for 20 years, everything has changed. However, I liked being able to book our car service online, get text updates & prices up front. The cars were on time, drivers nice, they answered any questions we had & one was like tour guide .Would definitely recommend this car service & use them in the future.

2019-11-01It’s a pleasure knowing you will be getting your car always on time or even earlier. There’s absolutely no rush. Every car we’ve had is immaculate and the driver always accommodating. .
