I heard about this podiatry Center from google (like you) and I am so glad I made this appointment! The office is in an apartment building and the space smells yummy and has decorations that bring ease and music that was playing that made doing paperwork more tolerable. Professional, friendly and punctual receptionists. Really kind and efficient and communicative Dr Valencia. They had a small screen so I didn’t have to watch what was happening to my toenail and her communication about what was happening helped me relax in this vulnerable situation. Also cool use of smart tablets for taking photos and ordering my prescription immediately. Whole experience was no more than 40 minutes. I’m actually looking forward to my follow up appointment.
I had bunions for over 30 years and was afraid of having them removed, because of all the horror stories I had heard. However, being a shoe lover, I wanted my bunions removed for obvious reasons. After telling a colleague about a bad visit with a podiatrist, he recommended Dr Abbott to me. Not to be over dramatic, but becoming a patient of Dr Abbott was a life changing experience for me! From my first visit, Dr Abbott made me feel comfortable, secure, and reassured. He explained everything to me in detail and I was able to pick my own surgery date and time- the surgery was a breeze, The best part is, its been four months since my surgery and I havent had ANY pain or complications- what so ever! Every time I look at my foot, I cant believe how beautiful it looks- no scars, dents, etc. Im having my left foot done in two months. Dr Abbott is the best of the best- theres no one better then he- in my opinion! Im walking on air!!!!!
Dr. Abbot & Dr. Valencia are always ready to listen to my concerns and together we come to an agreement on the best way to proceed with my foot pain and discomfort. Dr. Abbot always takes the time to explain the options available to make you feel the best possible. The ladies at the front desk are always cordial and friendly. The two foot surgeries I’ve had with Dr. Abbot have been very successful and I’m up about with no pain .
I found Dr. Abbott on Zocdoc after having a wart for some time. He was in a great location. Once it was concluded that it was a wart, we set up another appointment to remove the wart. It was very quick and easy. I even spoke to another doctor next to me to make sure my heart rate was alright during the procedure. I felt so comfortable!After, he put a bandage around the foot with the wart and provided a cell phone number to text him the next day, so he could make sure that I was alright! I was amazed! He texted back right away and once more when I had a minor question about getting the bandage wet.I cannot recommend Dr. Abbott enough for any foot related issues that you may be having!
Professional staff, appts are on-time and Dr.Abbott is the best podiatrist Ive ever dealt with.

This place is probably a spam. Terrible and aggressive stuff.Very messy , unorganized and zero professionalism. I could NEVER trust them to place a bandage on my toe.The stuff is disrespectful and liars. Trying to scam you by telling you the appointment is in another day and that the doctor available can’t accept your Insurence - therefore this will cost you way more.STAY AWAY!!! - there are so many other professional, clean and respectful places in NYC and don’t bother with these medical doctors wannabes..
Dr.abbot is a kind and humble doctor who treats his patients amazing. He is very talented and all of his office staff is lovely and so helpful. I recommend 100% for all your medical needs.
This has to be one of the best doctors office I have been too. Front staff is very friendly and attentive. Dr A is amazing. He gives you enough time to explain whats wrong and work on how to treat you. Very sweet doctor.
Dr. Abbott is a con-artist. I went to him for a consultation and ended up with a $600 bill. I could tell something was off during my appointment. When i phoned the office the next day to cancel my “follow-up” appointment The receptionist places me on hold and Dr.Abbott got on the line begging me to keep the appointment. Huge con artist and no one should seek professional help from him.
If you have any concerns with your feet, I highly recommended you visit the NYC Foot and Ankle Center. Dr.Abbot and his staff are very friendly and professional. Dr.Abbott thoroughly explains your specific diagnosis and treatment options. This visit was by far one of my best experiences with a physician

This is my second visit here with doctor Abbot. He is very knologeable, caring, and very professional.He is an excellent doctor. Staff very friendly and helpful. So far I am very satisfy with the care his is providing to me. Will keep you posted with my future visits here.
He is amazing! At this office they do Xrays. diagnosis, and boot/wrap up of the foot. Best podiatrist in the upperwest side. He doesnt take my insurance but he does such a great job he is worth paying cash.

2022-01-02I went to Dr. Abbott in December to have my toe checked out and could not speak more highly of the experience. The office was great about setting up appointments around my work schedule and I never needed to wait more than a few minutes before being seen.Dr. Abbott was a great doctor to interact with. He was very clear in describing what he was doing and was very patient and thorough when answering my questions.I had a great experience with Dr. Abbott and his office and I would recommend.

2022-03-28Everything they told me came true. Dr Abbott was terrific , gentle , and showed a great deal of positive bed side manner. My pain is gone and I feel like a brand new person. The staff was skilled and supportive. I would recommend Dr Abbott to to everyone .

2022-08-03In May 2021 I fractured my foot while moving. I had seen Dr. Abbott for a previous toe issue so I called his office. They scheduled me right away and it saved me hours of waiting at the ER or some urgent care office. I spent the summer doing weekly visits to his office to check progress on my healing foot. Nobody wants to have a foot injury and be in a soft cast and boot all summer long, but Dr. Abbott and his staff made the experience bearable. His staff are friendly, helpful, and I highly recommend his office if in need. Its now been one year since my injury and I am back running, biking, hiking and doing all the things I love with no residual pain. Hopefully, I will continue to have healthy feet, but if I ever need a podiatrist again Dr. Abbott will be the first person I call.

2022-05-27Dr Valencia was really nice. I was so scared because of my ingrown toenails but she did it so fast and gentle that I didnt feel any pain. She also gave me options for treatment.

He listens carefully to make sure he understands your concerns, and he explains things, giving you choices and explaining the pros and cons, as well as the procedure. His office is welcoming, and the assistants and kind, calm, and professional, and it is a pleasure to go there and be treated so well. I am so pleased to have found Dr. Abbott!

2020-08-26I made an appointment for my aching foot with Dr Abbott based on his great reviews and convenient office location. Im always a bit wary of online reviews, not knowing if they are fake. Dr Abbott greeted me a few minutes after I arrived and I knew the reviews were spot on. He has a fabulous and fun personality, and obviously cares deeply about his patients. He explained my issues to me very clearly, and we worked out a course of treatment. He also explained how my aging feet are not like my 25 year old feet and need to be treated differently.His office is beautiful and his staff is so friendly and helpful. I feel so lucky to have found Dr Abbott, and Im looking forward to finally finding relief for my pain.

2020-09-26I am so happy I found Dr. Abbott! He is a professional and knowledgeable podiatry specialist, very kind, with a bright, positive spirit. I had a hammertoe surgery as I was experiencing terrible and continuous arthritis pain; after that, my quality of life changed immediately.I was pleased with the result, I am pain free, and I couldnt be more happy.
