Beyond happy that I found the best boutique in Ny. Got my engagement dress custom made. Met the designer Matilda who created the dress that I always had in my heart. I am super impressed with the service and how beautiful the whole place was, cant wait till the wedding day so I shopfor my bridal gown
I just wanted to share my amazing experience there. They are very very nice people. Specifically Josephine , she is wonderful and has a lot of patience. She is so helpful as well. Definitely, I will come back to complete my order.
I got my wedding dress of my dreams custom made by nyc boutique. I loved the workers they were sweet and really helpful and respectful. They helped with choosing what would look good and what wouldn’t. They also made great suggestions which made my dream dress look like a million bucks. When I say I fully recommend this place for your wedding dress I mean it. They also have lovely evening gowns, prom dresses, bridesmaids etc. My overall experience was amazing. Im soooooo happy I went with this boutique.
So i got my wedding dress here, a few days right before my wedding my little niece messed it up with markers and stickers i was very upset, as soon as i told the owner what happened she took it to the dry cleaner and got it steamed and it looked brand new !! she saved my day and didn’t charge me, she did it out of the kindness of her heart. i will forever shop at this store thank you matilda may god bless your beautiful soul
Great place went with my wife for her to buy a dress and was surprised by the sheer variety they have in the store. Great service from the sales person we were helped from. Most definitely recommend.
Do not buy anything from this company! I bought a dress for $1000 and ordered a certain size. This company sent me a size bigger and when I called back they didn’t have the dress anymore! When anyone alters a dress. It would be altered from the length! But because I received the wrong size I had to pay an additional cost to alter the dress from top to bottom. There was no fraud at all as this company claims since I paid full price for this wrong size dress. You didn’t earn the 3 stars from me only sweet heart. I see there’s others who were unhappy.

Horrible experience. Dont ever shop here they were so rude and every dress was broken. They didn’t even wanna give a discount and started arguing, so unprofessional and cheap. As soon as we walked in they had attitudes. Dresses are also very overpriced. Never going here again.
5 starts is an understatement!I came here for a bridal fitting. I don’t want to post pictures of my dress yet since my wedding is in August. But I have to say and I have to recommend this place to everyone.The owner let me try on literally almost every dress and in the end I decided to just make my own custom made dress. I spent about $5,000 less than my original budget but still got my dream dress.I felt better here than in any other bridal store in the city. All the ladies helped me decide what was best. It was a very stressful ordeal until I came here and literally everything was so easy once I decided to go with the custom dress.It feels like a second layer of skin to me. It fits like a glove. And they made such a great deal for me for my 7 bridesmaids! My mother also got a custom-made dress From her custom-made line. I’m so grateful to them and for their patience!Again 5 stars is an understatement. This is the only place to go for real service!
This place has the best and most beautiful dresses. But I gave them 4 stars because their Tailor needs to improve a lot to make right by her timelines. After the measurements and all were given it took her 2 months to put a sleeve and hem the dress for me. So they called me up to pick the dress and I go in and the sleeves weren’t even fixed. I had to send a family member to pick up my dress and they had to stay over 2 hours to pick it. All was done and when the dress was bought home, the bottom of the sleeves weren’t even tagged. It was left as the same way she cut the sleeve looking all messy. You could literally see the zigzag scissor cuts on it. I spent $450 for this? That is not right? Like if you are to do a job right, do it right. $450 isn’t just money growing on trees. This is to the owner, please, please, ask her to get the job done right.
Was window shopping for my brothers wedding and this gorgeous place sprung upon me, the dresses were gorgeous it was very busy and the girls seemed tired and overwhelmed yet they still helped me for hours and i left very happy with my special custom dress !!!
I got a dress here customized for my dads 50th birthday. I went about 4 weeks before the party and even though she told me customized dresses take time she said she could do it. I knew exactly what dress I wanted based off of instagram and i tried on their sample in store which was too small for me but still made me feel so pretty. HOWEVER, when the dress came it did not fit how i expected. this dress is supposed to hug your body but it was weighing my body down and not sitting right. The sample looked so much better on me than this!! The measurements she took were WAY OFF which is why the dress didnt fit right. I told her dont make it too long and it was too long for me, i almost tripped so many times. The dress around my arms and wrist was so big and the underarm area ripped. THANK GOD we have a tailor that works for us so she took the sleeves off for me, double the net/mesh of the dress on top (where my chest is) b/c I was so afraid the dress would rip on me the day of the party. OH and she was supposed to add the beading to the neckline which i PAID for and she didnt do that. So our tailor also took beading from the sleeves she took off and added it to the neck for me. I didnt get why did i pay so much for such poor quality? if my tailor was able to double the mesh on the dress to hold the weight so it wouldnt tear why couldnt the person who made the dress do that? COMPLETE WASTE OF $2300! OH BTW she took full payment the same day we ordered the dress (BIG MISTAKE). Dont let them do that to you, obviously shes making a profit so she does not need FULL deposit when you order. I received this dress on a thursday and our party was on the saturday ... so paying that much to have to go through all of that when i received the dress was just too much. Plus it fell apart when I took it to the dry cleaner. They warned me it probably would but at that point I didnt even want this dress.
Love this dress boutique! I go here for all my events and they always have the hottest newest styles that no other boutique has! They also have their own custom dresses so if you really want to be unique this is the place to shop. Violetta is such a sweetheart and has exquisite fashion style. The personal shopper feeling is definitely there. The store associates are warm and welcoming too!
Hands down the BEST dress store I have ever been to! I came here 4 years ago to buy my bridesmaids dress for my sisters wedding and just went back last moth to buy my custom wedding dress. After traveling around NJ and NYC to various wedding dress stores and leaving every single one disappointed, I remembered that NYC Glamour Couture makes custom dresses and let me tell you they are a dream!!!! I finally had the problem of loving every single dress I put on! Matilda made me feel so comfortable and beautiful in my dress and takes the time to make sure every detail is meticulously perfected! I ended up buying my bridesmaids dresses here the same day And I will continue to come back for any dresses I need.
I have never had a greater experience with not only the store, but the people. Everyone is beyond helpful and so kind, the workers really do an amazing job making their costumers feel welcome. I came here to get my junior ball and prom dress and had absolutely no problems. I highly reccomend coming to this store because you will not regret it. Definitely will be coming back!!
Send you the wrong size and argues with you and then the owner likes to make problems also cheap quality terrible customer service New York dress and couture candy are way better options to actually get what you want and in the size you need I won’t shop here again charging extra for alterations and it’s the owners fault lol this store is a whole joke
The lady who helped me was the best, she was so sweet. She was so nice and most importantly she loves her job. In other store when u try something and don’t buy it they give you attitude but in this store she was very nice about it. They have a lot of options even though its very expansive. I do recommend this place because they have great customer service and have nice dresses.

I went in to find my wedding dress and Josephine helped me- I couldn’t be happier. I ordered a dress they are making custom and Josephine just got what I was looking for. She showed me so many options and knew exactly what would look go on my body. Matilda- was wonderful as well- she is very knowledgeable. Everyone was supportive, energetic and fun. I know they are going to make me the perfect gown. Another 5 stars coming in a couple of months once I get my beautiful wedding gown!
I love this boutique I go here every year for a dress .❤❤❤❤. The costumer service was phenomenal. These ladies make sure they find a perfect dress for me . Dresses were pretty ... expensive but pretty. I went in there had no problem! But my friend whose Spanish was one of my bridesmaid had an entire different experience. I guess I’d rather go somewhere that’s welcoming to anyone regardless of looks and race.
Violet was super nice! Very professional and her taste in fashion is amazing ❤️ My dress fits perfect and I will definitely be going back to her in the future for more dresses! Highly recommend going to violet for your dresses :)
I heard so much about this place that couldnt stay anymore staring at their Instagram. It was irresistible . My wedding is around the corner so i traveled from Washington to Ny to visit the store. The boutique was so beautiful clean and had a lot of dresses to choose from. The staff was so welcome, because I shopped for 3 hrs and couldnt get out from those pretty dresses the manager bought lunch for me and my girls. It felt like home so warm and positive energy. Best selection. The best shopping experience ever. Happy to have chosen the dresses from this store . Million thanks to Tania, Matilda and Josephine. Love you girls❤️❤️ Highly recommended !
I’ve been going to NYC Glamour Couture since they opened and I don’t get my dresses anywhere but here. They carry every famous designer (Jovani, Terani, Portia and Scarlett, McDugal) and also have their own line of Custom Made Dresses. The staff is always going above and beyond to meet my wants and needs. Thank you guys for all that you do! :)
NYC glamour couture is phenomenal!Okay, so I don’t normally do surveys or reviews but I MUST in this case. I need every bride to know the experience that I have had. I came from DC. Believe it or not DMV wedding dress shopping SUCKS! I am a COVID bride (Meaning- trying to muddle through this wedding planning during an outbreak). Being a COVID bride and is not easy. MANY OTHER BRIDAL STORES are charging a non-refundable 75-100$ just for a first time fitting. They are also ONLY allowing you, 1 person, to accompany you which truly takes the joy out of this celebration. Then when you arrive youre only allowed to try on 3-4 dresses. It is very disheartening.OVERALL:But when I came to NYC GLAMOR COUTURE, everything changed. Each dress I tried on was amazing!!!!!!!!!! There was not one dress I tried on that I did not love. Even my mom was confused we spent almost an hour trying to figure out which dress was THE dress . That’s how amazing this store is!! Their sense of fashion and knowledge of trends is through the roof!!!! They have amazing contractors from Paris, Dubai, Lebanon, Jordan, Albania, Cairo! Their dresses are TOP OF THE TIER real crystals, handcrafted beaded, glitz, and more!. At this store anything is customizable !!!!!!!STAFF:Now let me talk to you about the service. When you go in, you feel like you are Beyoncé. They schedule an undivided time with you! You get VIP service! The owner and staff are worked with were Matilda and Tanya .Let me first start by saying Tanya was amazing. She is fashion-forward. She knows how to style you. She was energetic and so respectful !!! I would have loved to rate this place 1000 stars. My wedding dress that I ordered from another store came out horrible. Matilda saved my dream day, she custom made me a wedding dress in 3 weeks. As I was panicking she an her staff kept me calm and updated with picture of the dress and made me excited. these Girls saved me, will forever shop at this place. I am glad i found this boutique.
My favorite spot to relax and shop. The girls are so patient and welcoming. Jojo and Matilda thank you for the best dress and the amazing deal. From now on I have personal stylists. My prom dress is from NYC Glamour Couture! Cant wait for May to come and wear it.
If there were 100 stars I would give it to this place. The sales girl named Matilda just wouldnt let me go with out trying whatever she though that fits me and my budget. I cant say how amazing the staff is and what they were doing to help almost 5-6 prom girls at the same time. I am wowed by the service. The patience that had and never failed to smile all the time. I have never experienced this kind of service or the treatment as a customer. This place made my last min prom shopping super excited. You are the best girls I have ever seen in a boutique, keep up the best work.

Very happy with my last minute purchase. Went in and tried on many amazing dresses and felt very welcome. Staff very welcome and super kind. Great boutique to choose from with many options. Loved the couture collection they had. Recommend this shop! Worth the trip.
One of the workers were extremely rude and seemed almost annoyed at my friends and I trying on dresses for prom. Both workers also followed us around the store and watched us. Also, they rudely mentioned the prices and assumed that we could not afford the dresses. Would not recommend, and I’m definitely not coming back.
Short story: DONT TRUST THIS BOUTIQUE. They will tell u anything just to make a sale. Even if it’s a lie.long story: I bought a dress from there two days before my engagement. It was my second option and the ladies knew that. I needed it to get tailored but I explained to them I wasn’t sure if I can get it tailored on time.The ladies knew that I was skeptical to purchase it because of this. One of the ladies said you know what this one time, we will let you return it if you could not get it tailored.When my mom went to return the dress the next day because I could not get it tailored they would refuse to take it back. She denied ever saying that I can return it, but I know 100% she said that to me.It was an expensive dress, and I would have never purchased it if the lady did not tell me I could return it the next day if I was not able to get it tailored.In reply to ur response :First off that’s such an unprofessional response.You need to stop making it seem like I purchased the dress and then changed my mind and tried to force a return on you. That is not what happened.I came into your store when I already had a dress as an option. The woman helping me were lovely sweet girls and they helped me find a dress that I thought was beautiful however it needed to be tailored. They saw how skeptical I was about purchasing it because I only had two days until my engagement and that meant I had to rush getting it tailored. I was going to leave the store without purchasing the dress because I figured I could not get it tailored that quick. That’s when that one lady told me you know what this one time for you if you could not get it tailored on time we will return it for you.So please stop acting like I am making the story up. With your rude comments about me thinking it’s a supermarket and this is a family business and you guys work hard I don’t care I work hard for my money to just like everyone else in this world does so please save the pity party.Nobody forced me to buy the dress I never said that so don’t put words in my mouth. however I was lied to about the fact that I could make a return this one time. If she never said that to me I would not have bought a 700 or $800 dress last minute.I came on here not to bash your business but to warn others to not believe a word you guys say unless it’s written and signed on paper.If you had a audio recording that’s funny you never mentioned a thing to me when I called you guys about it. If you want I would love to come in person and we can go through that audio and so we can resolve this issue and I would be more than happy to take down my review if it was never said. Matilda is horrible. She was helping me with my dresss.. She couldn’t pull the zipper down to some fake designer dresser with The tag ripped off.. she said “ do it yourself” you got it” turns out it was broken. Horrible customer service. She should not be working here. I had someone else help after being stuck in the room.She Honestly prob brings the business down...Tania is great and everyone else is great. She. Went above and beyond to help me with altering prices. Putting the dress on etc.I got the dress but made sure it was known with lack of customer service you get when you step in.

(I only gave it one star because it wouldn’t let me post without a star) Do not go there. I ordered my dress and it’s been over a month and I never got it !! When in store I was told I would get it within 2 weeks. Also they need to get their stories straight because the first time i went to the store one lady told me my dress was one price but when I went to order my dress I was told a different price. When I went again to see if my dress was there nobody would give me the number to the store phone and a lady told me they were having shipping problems which I wasn’t made aware of before I ordered my dress!! I decided on another dress and got my money back !

Just walked out of this boutique. The experience was fantastic. thank you to the staff, they chose the best dress for me. Deals were best. I saw on their instagram that they have sale but it was actally true. everything was as described. brand names that online were almost double the price. i ended up buying a evening gown and a cocktail dress for christmas party. very happy with my purchase and greatful that i found this place. extremely happy. Cant wait to show off my dresses.
Love this boutique. Order my dress monday and got it today Thursday. Super excited and cant wait to wear it. Got excellent service and lots of honest opinions about my choices. likes that the girls were honest and didnt let me out with dresses that didnt look good on me. found my to go spot for gowns now. Got to buy the dress of my dreams for half price off. Staff was very professional and treated me and my bridesmaids just great. Store was packed with people and everyone was so patient. I am glad I visited the store and drove for Boston to ny just to shop at this store. Found it on instagram and the prices were very good comparing to some other stores. Cant wait to visit ny again.
I did not mistake the boutique nor did i lie about my experience to my friend.It’s kind of pathetic how u respond to these reviews and call people liars or disvalue their experience.U can’t tell everyone who rates u bad that they are lying or confusing the boutique. I know where i went and it was ur boutique located on 30-98 Steinway street Astoria.Maybe all those five star ratings are fake and lies. Maybe they confused ur boutique for another. How does that feel?How pathetic. Learn to take real criticism and stop telling ur customers they lied. Instead do better. Learn from it and be better.
Must say this place is a gem. Got help and found the perfect dress for my maid of honor. The girl was so helpfull. I just explained the color and style and she pulled out 6 different designs. Beautiful collection and best prices. I have been to over 5 other boutiques. Here fet welcomes and found a deal! I Recommend this place. Thank you to the girl ( forgot her name) thank you!
Stopped by just to look after big dissappointments in other stores. I was pleasently surprised by the variety and although they did not have every dress in every size they had a variety of sizes. The lady that helped me (blonde with blue eyes) took her time and really wanted me to find something i love not just sell me what she wanted. great prices, great selection, and amazing staff.
Told me my dress was coming one day and it came later. Don’t have much in store so if you see something on their social media they probably don’t have it in store.
If you are not a certain race , then do not waste your time coming here . I was so excited to visit the shop after seeing posts on Instagram about it but received the opposite treatment I expected . I walked in with my mother and not a word was said to us . We looked around for 10 minutes and no help was offered , also we were not greeted . As soon as we asked a question one of the sales lady’s was quick to say the prices of the dresses instead of answering if she had them or not . ( Most likely assuming we couldn’t afford anything in the store ) . There was also another lady there that tried to help with what we were looking for after seeing that we were still in the store . For that sole reason is why I give this place a 1 instead of a ZERO .( She had an orange brownish hair color ) . After looking at more stores , we were considering to go back and purchase a $800+ dress that was 1/4 top pics but decided to go with another vendor due to the manner in which we were treated at this store . To the owner ; please review the help you have in store because if scenarios like this are reoccurring you will miss out on great sales and profit . This store needs better customer service and less prejudice workers , it’s 2018 !
Horrible customer service. I went in there and simply because I was overheard speaking Spanish (I am Spaniard), I immediately was approached and told I didn’t have the budget to afford the dresses! It was extremely offensive and UNPROFESSIONAL. Making assumptions about a client’s income based on what language they were using at the time is absurd. I would never recommend anyone to go here.And in case you’re wondering, I paid for the dress cash.
My friend and I picked up a dress and one of the workers a girl skinny young brown hair yells out “That’s 1600 hundred” cutting us off as if we couldn’t afford it. The workers are so rude they judge you to see if you have money or not and just throw numbers at you. The dresses are overpriced anyways with beads missing

This place was INCREDIBLY rude to our entire bridal party. they said they wouldn’t be able to help us because it was after 6pm yet they closed at 8... they weren’t even trying to make a sale. they were being lazy and unhelpful. do not recommend. go some place where you are treated with respect and grace.
Extremely rude workers. Customer service horrible. No help and are only eager to throw their over priced prices at you. I don’t mean to use the race card but if you are not of a certain race you will be treated as if your not even visible. Avoid going here. Go somewhere where your money will be appreciated and you will be treated with curtesy and respect.
Passed by for fun but ended up byuing two long gowns and 1 short for holidays. Prices unbeliavable. half off retail and excellent service. happy i went in.thank you to the girls that helped me. great staff and service. highly recomend it.

Initially, I was nervous because it was my first time visiting. I had appointments at other bridal stores after NYC Glamour and cancelled them. 2021-12-16I’m so excited I found this store. I found the most amazing custom dress and they worked within my budget. All the prices were extremely reasonable and the gowns were incredible. Tanya was so so helpful and made me feel welcome and comfortable as I ruled out every option. I went to a million other dress stores in New York and nothing compares in terms of quality and quantity. 2022-05-09I see a 3.8 rating and I’m shocked because my experience with NYC glam couture was nothing short than 5 stars. If I could give a 10 I would. Customer service is exceptional. Truly one of the best experiences I’ve had when ordering a gown. I ordered and received my dress within 5 business days and it is beautiful!! Very responsive customer service that doesn’t leave you hanging and waiting because if you’re anything like me I am inpatient and very anxious when it comes to getting ready for a big event. 10/10 experience will be purchasing through Nyc Glam couture in the future because of such a great first experience!! 2022-05-06Just got my dream dress guys. Cant explain the happiness and the excitement. My engagement dress came in super fast. I ordered from a picture and it looked hundred times better. Matilda gave me a super deal and made sure everything was perfect.Best of the best stores i have been so fa in NYC

2022-05-03The workers are so kind and listen to you. It was such a great and easy process for me. I have such a hard time finding dresses for my body type, however, the first dress I laid eyes on was the first dress I tried on and knew I was going to purchase it right away. I highly recommend everyone go there and look for dresses.

As soon as you go into the store they are attentive and kind, ready to make your dream come true. I am so glad i found this place can not wait to order again!

2022-05-23The ladies in this store are so helpful and nice since I was in the neighborhood I decided to stop by to browse the dresses for my wedding day and get an idea of what I wanted for my dress came in without an appointment but the ladies helped me regardless with no problem wasn’t able to purchase a dress that day although I fell in love with one I’ll most likely get for my second ceremony but hopefully I can find one here one day soon for my first since there’s always shipments will most definitely be back ❤️

2022-06-02My daughter and I were looking for elegant dress her prom and litterly we looked Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens,Long Island, upstate, NYC, everywhere you can imagine and couldnt find a dress for her.When we find NYC Glamour Couture we were so happy. 2022-02-27Horrible experience. We called them and asked if they had a dress and the size we needed. The woman said yes and was very nice on the phone. We drove from new jersey to Astoria to get there. When we got there they said they sold it… within the half hour of calling. They then gave a dress four sizes too small and tried to measure her and make us order a dress. We left. Very rude inside and lied just to get us to go there.
