We had Mark to officiate our wedding. He was amazing. He introduced himself to guests and parents. He made everyone feel at ease. He corresponded with us throughout the whole process to make sure he got to know both of us. He ensured that everything ran smoothly and he knew our vision for the ceremony. Norma recently officiated our wedding. Shes also officiated for my brother in law and then naming of their two children. Not only is Norma the kindest person Ive ever met, shes professional, personal, and really took the time to get to know us as a couple. We received so many compliments on her ceremony. Her ceremony was a perfect mix of the religion, culture, family, and love - just like we wanted. She truly listened to what we wanted and delivered a very meaningful and personal ceremony that well cherish forever.

Norma married my now husband & I in early November, and it was the most beautiful, personalized ceremony we couldve imagined! Norma was so wonderful and easy to work with, we loved her the second we met her. Mark officiated our wedding and was so lovely to work with leading up to the wedding and on the day of. He was super informative and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process. He has a great presence and gave us wonderful recommendations for our readings. We connected via FaceTime before the wedding, and he really put in an effort to get to know us so he could personalize our ceremony. Mark created some special moments for my husband and me during the ceremony, and he worked with our videographer so that the ceremony could be filmed. We are so grateful that he could be an integral part of our wedding day, and we will forever cherish the memories we made!
We used Mark Giller of One Heart Personalized Ceremonies for our wedding on September 5, 2020. We could not have asked for a better officiant. Mark was a consummate professional and wowed us with his personalized speech. Everyone in attendance thoroughly enjoyed the ceremony. My husband and I worked with Norma for our wedding and could not have asked for a better experience! From the very beginning (before COVID), Norma was very invested in getting to know all about us and what we wanted for our special day. She was extremely professional, kind and put a great deal of thought and love into our ceremony. When we found out we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID, she was extremely diligent in responding to us when we were frantically trying to make sure everyone we wanted to be apart of our big day could still commit to our new date. She was willing to do whatever necessary to still be able to work with us, which we were so happy about!Norma could not have written a better, more personalized ceremony for us. She included everything we asked for and more, really making it all about us. Our ceremony, vows and everything Norma included for us was absolutely perfect. We could not recommend her enough!!

My husband and I had Norma officiate our wedding. We had to change our plans for our wedding due to Covid, so we were married with a small group in my parents backyard. Norma was easy to get and contact with and so flexible while we changed our plans. Our ceremony was very personalized. Our parents and grandparents still rave about how beautiful the ceremony was. Overall, our wedding ceremony was absolutely perfect and we really enjoyed working with Norma.
Norma officiated our microwedding last month. We got engaged in July and realized that with the pandemic our dream of having a destination wedding might be nearly impossible. We decided to have an intimate elopement/microwedding instead, Norma was wonderful!! She was easy to talk to and made herself readily available. I couldn’t stop crying the whole ceremony, she made it so personal and individualized! Our families also raved about the ceremony! Words cant express how grateful we are to have used Mark as our officiant for our wedding! When it came to the limitless planning and preparation for our wedding, nothing daunted us more than the ceremony. Mark completely eliminated all worries and concerns by walking us through how our ceremony would run and allowing us to personalize every special moment. We are so pleased with the ceremony Mark created for our wedding in July 2019. His process allowed for him to get to know us over a short period of time and respond to what was important to us. We had to balance religion, culture, and family expectations for which Mark gave honest feedback and encouragement. His experience showed even more on the day of when he met our families and worked with the venue when our ceremony was delayed. Mark treated our wedding as an equally important day for the bride and groom and picked up on the tone and style of our wedding. I imagine he mirrors the unique tone and style of all couples he works with.

We had the absolute pleasure and honor of having Mark Giller from One Heart Personalized Ceremonies as our wedding officiant on June 24th, 2017. After attending several weddings over the past year where people used their friends as their officiants, it became very clear to us that we wanted an expert. My husband and I wanted a planned and professional yet emotional ceremony. We first looked to our venue’s recommended vendor list for officiants and there was One Heart Personalized Ceremonies at the very top. After doing some research, it became very apparent that we wanted to pursue something with Mark. Not only were the reviews extremely positive but after our first meeting with him we could tell instantly that he would be a great choice. He really took the time to talk to us and get to know us as a couple and individuals. Over the next 9 months, he had each of us fill out extensive questionnaires separately without showing each other. This really helped Mark get to know us on a personal level and prepare the most beautiful ceremony for us. He was detailed, enthusiastic, passionate, and eloquent, while professional, personable, and engaging. Mark exceeded our expectations. His writing was heartfelt and beautiful as if he had known us throughout the course of our entire relationship; he had us all laughing and crying. Mark married us May 2014 on Long Island. He was amazing! Mark was very personable and really made our ceremony beautiful. He asked all the right questions when we first met him and created an absolutely perfect ceremony for us. I wanted to write and say my own vows but was very nervous about it. Mark made me feel comfortable and confident about my vows and gave me the courage to say them during the ceremony. My guests are still talking about the ceremony! I highly recommend him!
Norma was honestly one of the best parts of our wedding. She was extremely responsive from the beginning answered all of our questions and really took the time to get to know me and my husband. Everyone complemented her the day of the wedding and spoke about how wonderful she was. You won’t go wrong with having her officiate your wedding, she’s a true gem and great person.
We got married in September and Mark was our officiant. From the very first meeting with Mark we felt that it was a match. We spoke to several officiants before on the phone and none made us feel the same. We were walking back home after that first meeting and I remember telling my future husband how relaxed I felt - connected emotionally and understood as a human being. We trusted Mark with our Ceremony and we were not disappointed. As we keep joking - we still do not remember most of it because of the nerves, but on a serious note everything went great - a combination of traditional civil ceremony with thoroughly thought through and added cultural traditions of our own (me being Russian Orthodox and my husband Russian Jewish), a lot of our guests mentioned how much they liked it. Mark was absolutely wonderful! He created the most beautiful ceremony we could have wished for. We received so many compliments about the ceremony from our guests. He was extremely easy going and attentive from our first email to the very end. We met with him twice prior to the wedding. The first time was an introduction, he went into details of the process and he answered all of our questions. We shared our story with him and really connected. By the time we parted ways we knew we wanted to move forward with him. Prior to our 2nd meeting, we each filled out a questionnaire that he used to put our ceremony together, and he did an amazing job. We went over all the details during our 2nd meeting and we were really looking forward to having him conduct our ceremony. He communicated very clearly with our family and other vendors and made sure everything ran smoothly without us having to worry about a thing. He was extremely patient throughout the entire process and we cannot recommend him enough, you will be extremely happy having Mark at your wedding!
Working with Mark was truly a pleasure. Although it may seem cliche, Marks beautiful ceremony truly was the highlight of the wedding. I just ran into my friends daughter today who turned to me and said, How is Norma? Tell her its been 7 years since she married me. Who remembers the minister from a wedding? You do if Norma married you. Ive been to two of her weddings, each uniquely constructed for the couples. They were beautiful and heartwarming, respectful of cultures and beliefs. She is able to bring out the essence of each relationship. Truly an amazing experience.

To rewind, we knew just moments into our first conversation with Mark that he and One Heart Personalized Ceremonies were the perfect complement to our wedding story. We felt like he somehow already knew us.We felt at ease with Mark, at a time when so much was unknown, including if we were even going to have our NYC wedding due to Covid and the ever-changing guidelines and restrictions. Mark gave us guidance where we needed, as well as freedom to help him curate a ceremony that embodied a spirit of warmth and intimacy, with big laughs and an overall celebration of two lives becoming one. Every step of planning with Mark was thoughtful, organized and truly enjoyable. He will honor you and your wedding day by creating a ceremony that is truly unique to your love, your union and your future. 2022-04-17“That was the best wedding ceremony I have ever heard!” After our long-delayed wedding in April of 2022, we heard the above from so many family and friends. And we’re both in our mid-40s, so it’s not like our guests haven’t all been to dozens of weddings. But Norma was just THAT good.Our journey with Norma started three years ago, when we became engaged in 2019. Norma met with us and designed a beautiful ceremony … which didn’t get to happen, because it was scheduled for April of 2020. Instead, the pandemic forced us to cancel our wedding. When we told Norma, she offered to marry us right away in a socially distanced outdoor ceremony. She immediately revised the ceremony she had written for us, and the next day she gave us a beautiful wedding with only two witnesses instead of the 200 we had originally planned. Norma brought everything we needed and gave us a joyful day even as the world seemed to be falling to pieces all around us.Two years later, we finally felt that it was safe enough to have the wedding we originally planned, and we knew we had to have Norma on board. And she DELIVERED THE GOODS! She rewrote our nuptials yet again, and delivered a ceremony full of love and good feelings and humor. It was so heartfelt and wonderful. Norma’s words and thoughts and delivery made sure there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.Both of our wedding days were among the very best days of our lives, and Norma Moutal helped make it so. We can never thank her enough.

2022-07-27Norma takes her responsibilities as an officiant very seriously. Actually, she has a great sense of humor and, depending on the occasion, can, and will, try to inject smiles and laughter into the event. However, she clearly understands that each ceremony she leads, is extremely important to the participants and audience, and that it probably marks a memorable moment in their lives; and she wants her part in it to meet their expectations. And so, she does her homework; meeting with the principals ahead of time, and working with them to make sure that her leadership fits their needs and expectations. She puts in a lot of time making sure she gets it right. We know this to be true because my wife and I have known Norma for many years; have seen her officiate at several events; and recently asked her to lead the marriage ceremony for our son and his bride, which she did beyond even our high expectations. She is truly exceptional, and I can enthusiastically recommend her.

2022-07-22We loved working with Norma for our June 2022 wedding! She is very knowledgable and guided us through every step of the ceremony. I personally hate public speaking and I was very nervous about writing my vows. However, I felt so comfortable during the ceremony and I believe it is because of Normas reassurance and presence. She also suggested a reading for a ceremony that was so us! She also incorporated traditions from both of our cultures without one being more prominent than the other, which is what we wanted. Thank you Norma and stay awesome!

2021-11-13Norma was a fabulous officiant! Our ceremony felt so personalized and truly spoke to who we are as a couple. She had great ideas for how to add special touches to our ceremony including a time capsule box and a flower ceremony to honor our loved ones. We had a few last minute changes that we wanted to make and Norma was very accommodating. She was responsive and available by phone and email. We would absolutely work with her again!

2019-05-29We cannot say enough amazing things about Mark! We interviewed a few officiants for our wedding day, but the moment we spoke to Mark we just knew hed be the perfect match. He not only did a very thorough interview with us, but we could tell that he cared about us as a couple and wanted to make our day extra special. He used details we had forgotten we told him, was able to incorporate a cultural tradition and tailored the ceremony specifically for us! We have guests to this day that still say our ceremony was so personal and meaningful. Such a memorable part of the day. The list can go on, but the moment you speak to Mark you will instantly know that he can make your wedding day an unforgettable one! 2019-06-01Mark was a wonderful officiant! He was extremely flexible, affordable, kind and responsive. During all of the stress and busyness of planning a wedding, it was great that we had such a great experience with Mark. 2019-03-27We had a big task ahead of us...organizing a wedding in less than 6 months! We scoured the wedding sites for great reviews and over and over again One Heart was top-rated. When we met Mark, we knew why. His calming demeanor and professionalism helped guide us during this whirlwind time. We met in person and just talked -- about us, about our cat, something about football that I tuned out -- what it was was natural and easy. Over the course of several weeks we continued our conversations, we talked some more, filled out a questionnaire and then Mark got to work on his personalized ceremony. He took into consideration everything - things we didnt even consider - like the sensitivity of two faiths coming together and two cultures needing to find balance. He found that beautiful space within. The end result was a thoughtful and inspiring ceremony that joined our family and friends in the most compelling way. It was truly special to work with Mark and we highly recommend his services to any couple tying the knot.
