Extremely pleased with NYC Short lease. I stayed in one of their apartments while I was doing renovations on my condo. Suzy Zalta was my contact and she was amazing. Super responsive and friendly, leasing process was done in 24hours!! Apartment was lovely, have referred them to 3 friends since!!
I rented an apartment from NYCSL. My person of contact was Ben. He was very courteous and helpful. He made the transition of moving into the apartment very easy; he made sure that we were comfortable.The property was pristine, beautiful, and very cozy which made my stay a very pleasant one.I will definitely consider renting from NYCSL anytime Im in NYC again.
My husband and I rented an apartment in NYC for 10 weeks to welcome a grandson. We leased it through NYC Short Lease and could not have been more pleased with the experience from beginning to end! The apartment, building staff, amenities, location and ambiance were clean and welcoming! Our entire family enjoyed the play room, exercise room, swimming pool, outdoor BarBQs, dining areas and parklike setting! It was a refuge and an oasis in the City! Any issues that arose were dealt with quickly and professionally by the Short Lease onsite coordinator! We were not ready to return to our home, and cant wait to go back!!!
Throughout my stay Ive had non-stop issues with NYC short lease. Beginning with my bath tub being covered with disgusting dirt because it turned out there was a plumbing issue with the building - which they made sure to remind me constantly that it wasnt their fault. However given that this must have been going on for a while they should have known about it and it shouldnt have taken them so long to fix. Additionally they acted as if they were doing me a huge favor getting it cleaned when really it shouldnt have been an issue in the first place and coming into a clean apartment is to be expected! Second the air conditioning didnt work - again they sought to shirk all responsibility. There have also been other minor issues such as a light fixture missing a cover, the light bulbs going out, the door handle falling off, wifi password given was incorrect - the list goes on. But the biggest frustration is that they continually show the apartment without sufficient notice. Normally this would not be a problem however they had someone walk in when I was at home in a state of undress and they just walked into my apartment - no notice or anything. Given this, they were shocked when I refused to allow them to show my apartment with less than 24 hours notice (as is required by law). Had they potentially not ruined any good-faith relationship we may have had i might not have minded but they were so appalled that i wanted them to follow the law they couldnt believe it and made sure to inform me that they do this with all their apartments. So long story short - if youre looking for an exceptionally over priced apartment where you have zero privacy come here.Ps. The apartment building and management themselves are fantastic but you are told not to talk to them.
We have rented apartments twice now for my parents from NYC short lease. They are very responsive, helpful and have great apartments. Apartments are clean, fully stocked and in great locations. I highly recommend them!

I initially dealt with Mr. Jeremy Sebbagh on the phone and since the beginning till today I am very happy with his team and the attention given to a tenant like myself. I rented a furnished apartment in a very distinct building on East 86th Street and all was given to me in very nice condition and trust. I highly recommend NYC Short Lease.
Quick apartment hunt. Space worked well, and NYCSL worked with us to accommodate our needs before moving in. Aside from rent payments, we didnt have to worry about anything during our stay, which was nice. Communication could be improved, but aside from that it worked out great. Definitely recommend for furnished short stays.
Ben from NYC Short Lease was a great agent. I was able to rent a short-term studio with little effort on my part. He really took the time to understand what I wanted and found a good place for me. Would definitely recommend!
Good experience overall, fully furnished spacious and good condition apartment in a good building. much preferred by me to a typical Airbnb, this has a hotel feel to it, no owners things in the apartment.
Hi, I leased an apartment with Benjamin Azrl and I could have not asked for better service. Everything was super easy, the apartment was great and when we had to contact him he always responded immediately. I will be calling him in the future for sure.
PLEASE STAY AWAY ! have been renting apartments from NYC Short lease for 7 months and my last experience was horrible i was traveling out of state , NYCSL Team stole all of my staff while i was gone valuables over 40000$ were lost i arrived in shock have made multiple police reports and have an ongoing court case . This company CANNOT be trusted they are thieves and stole all of my staff ! Please be careful and stay away

2017-02-04NYC Short Lease did a great job for us. The staff found a place for us quickly and getting through the paperwork was easy. We loved the location and amenities of the apartment where we stayed. We ended up staying four months longer than originally planned and they made extending very easy and convenient. The apartment was nicely furnished and the location was fantastic. The doormen and other staff at the building could not have been more helpful! I will definitely use NYC Short Lease again when I have to be back in the city for an extended work stay.

2016-02-24My husband and I are leaving next week after a 5 week recovery stay. We rented with NYC short lease to make our recovery from surgery much easier for doctor appointments. I can recommend NYC short lease with no reservations. From the searching for an apartment to the living in the apartment has been seamless.The apartments are wonderful equipped with quality items. We stayed in a studio, 2Br.1 Bath and finally the best situation was the 2BR 2Bath. The team from the leasing department to the maintenance is phenomenal. Any concern or issue that arose was taken care of in the most timely manner. They are so fully equipped that we didnt have to purchase a thing. And you can tell they took so much effort to provide their tenants with quality comfort as even the sheets appear to have a high thread count because they are so soft.I hope we will come back soon and enjoy a short stay without having to spend a lot of time indoors recovering and more time enjoying NYC. I highly recommend NYC Short lease for your visit to NYC. I will miss this wonderful apartment and its location.Thank you to Jeremy, Kate, Dan and Fran you are all superb!

2016-05-21We rented a one-bedroom apartment with NYC Short Lease (late March-April 2016). Kate was our contact person and she was great - very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Maintenance was responsive and efficiently took care of any issues. Communication as a whole was excellent. Our only complaint was about the furnishings in the apartment. Overall, the apartment was clean and the bed was comfortable, but the sofa and chairs were hard and not comfortable to sit on. That wouldnt stop us from renting with NYCSL again, though. We had a solid experience and found them to be very professional. Please note that it took a month to get our security deposit back, in case thats important to you.

2017-12-04I stayed in an NYC Short Lease apartment in the past 6 months located in Midtown East for my job assignment. My stay was perfect. Their staff was very responsive and professional at all time. The building staff was as well. I used a few other corporate housing company in the past and they lead the way hands on. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and use them again for my next trip to NYC.

2017-01-18Great company. Highly recommended. We rented a unit through a referral from NYC Short Lease for 6 months for a work assignment the second part of 2016. I convinced my employer to considerate through the HR this company as per my friends referral and needless to say I was not disappointed. They are very responsive and managed our apartment with utmost professionalism and ethic. My HR is now considering them as a primary source of serviced apartments for its corporate housing needs.

2018-07-06This is the second year that we stayed at an apartment run by NYC Short Lease. They deliver 110% of what they promise - the apartment is perfectly set up for a wonderful stay. Our calls and texts were always returned, and they promptly brought over extra pillows and towels. They are a pleasure to deal with. We look forward to renting from them in the future

2017-05-19Some friends and I came to NY for an internship and rented through NYC Short Lease. The process was easy, the price lower than anyone else and the apartment was great and clean. Location was close to subways and bars. We had a great time and met so many people. I hope to come back soon and use them again.

2016-05-17My month-long stay in a NY Short Lease studio on West 91st St., in NYC,was so pleasant that I subsequently signed a 13-month lease on an unfurnished one-bedroom in the same building. Since the building had gone through a complete renovation from a venerable old hotel to an apartment residence in 2009, everything was modern and up-to-date.The staff in this building is totally accommodating, and the amenitiesare many. The location, a few steps from Broadway, couldnt be moreconvenient to whatever one would want on the Upper West Side. including buses and subway. I would recommend a stay here withouthesitation.

2020-05-24DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY! We rented 2 corporate apartments for our company employees who were not able to travel from Europe during the pandemic. Not only did NYC Short Lease refuse to refund, they refused to offer even a credit after taking months worth of rent and payment of utilities and a cleaning fee!!! No one ever moved in! Absolutely disgraceful!!!
