Went with a large party. The venue itself was beautiful. It was a hot day but the entire seating area was covered by a trees in a way that made you entirely forget youre right off of Northern Blvd. Our party trickled in slowly and the staff were incredibly accommodating on adjusting for size. New place settings were brought quickly and drinking preference taken on the spot. The main dishes took a bit long to come out for my taste but that was largely due to the size of our party in an effort to get everyone out at once. In the meantime we were able to enjoy a constant flow of sangria and appetizers. We got locked in conversation well after our meals were finished and the staff were very understanding with our use of the space. This gets an easy recommendation to anyone I know and I look forward to coming back.
I gave my daughter and her friends a holiday luncheon here. I have to say that they had a great time. Along with the food being amazing, the customer service is impeccable. George and Isaac have gone above and beyond to make sure that my daughter and her friends were well taken care of. After the luncheon was over, I was asked if everything was the way I expected. They showed so much concern and wanted to make sure my daughter and her friends had a perfect day. Thank you Isaac and George for all of your kindness. I recommend Oasis cafe to anyone looking for great food, great customer service and a place that welcomes you and makes you feel at home.
Delicious doesn’t even describe it. The setup of the restaurant is so pretty. The outside is so nice + has a non-smoking side. The top desert items were the rainbow cookies and the Nutella heart cake. The cold brew and chai latte were yum as well. The customer service was slow but it was busy so it understandable. 10/10 would recommend.
Been here multiple times over the years and always have a great time. Drinks are amazing, pastries are delicious, and love their food as well. It gets crowded quickly but I love the outdoor garden they have as well as the restaurant inside. I love their entire branding as well - its so fun. Being in marketing, I definitely appreciate how consistent they are in that aspect. The missing star is that we always experienced a long wait for servers attention and always had to chase down for a request.
I was super disappointed when I went in today to sit and eat with a friend. I always order from Oasis Cafe on Uber Eats and I never have an issue, which is why I was shocked by the service my friend and I received. We started off on the bakery side and the staff behind the counter were rushing us to order even though the cafe was empty. I ordered a slice of cheesecake and a frappe. The cheesecake was fine, but the frappe tasted like nothing. So we decided to check out the bourbon bar. The customer service was absolutely awful. When we walked in, we weren’t greeted, we just received blank stares. I had to ask to be seated in order to be acknowledged. After we finished eating, we waited over 20 minutes for to-go boxes plus another 15 minutes for our bill. During these 35 minutes, multiple waiters and waitresses passed by our table, made eye contact with us, and continued to walk past. What made me most uncomfortable was the fact that a majority of the employees had their masks down or off completely around and over the food/drinks. I love Oasis’ bakery items, but today’s entire experience made me not want to spend my money here again.
One of my fav local restaurants! however, i went a few days ago and their indoor dining area lacked in service.. took at least 10 minutes for the server to come take our order even though there were only 2 other tables. the server basically didnt come back at all after the food was served. we never got our waters refilled.. but other than that, the food was amazing!
Always a good time. Been coming here since I was a little girl to get pastries with my father. The Bakery is always a 10.Main dining room is always clean and chic. I have watched many live events here too, the service was always on point regardless of how busy it was!Outside patio is a must. Especially for friends/family gatherings. The Balkan music is a vibe. You’ll feel like you are back home 💜
Just to let you know what kind of place this is, we went in April to smoke some Cubans but the outside wasn’t open yet. The owner himself let us go outside set up the tables himself and brought us an ashtray. Being outdoors at night at the Oasis cafe will remind you of being somewhere in the Mediterranean. Must try their chocolate truffle cake dessert. Truly an oasis in the desert that is known as Queens.
Oasis was such a good time. We visited this restaurant around 4pm in the afternoon. We were greeted by a hostess that was very accommodating, she was so nice and friendly. They follow all of covid regulations and they make you feel very welcome. They have a bakery in the front of the restaurant an area for dining in the back and outside seating. We sat outside since it was such a nice day out and the patio was clean and spacious. To start we had some drinks. Really recommend Red Cactus if youre looking for something refreshing. We also tried their Grilled & Pressed options and they did not disappoint. I had The 718 and my friend the Chicken Club all fresh ingredients, i ordered a side of grilled vegetables and they were not over cooked or soggy. The sandwich was packed and flavorful. This is a great place with great food and drinks.
We were greeted by a friendly gentleman who I assumed was the manager. The ambiance was beautiful but the food, cocktails and service were lacking in a big way! The cosmopolitans we ordered were warm and tart as if it were pre-made...disgusting! I reordered a Titos with a splash of cranberry and it was equally as bad.Onward to the food..the Angus burgers were just ok but the fries were not fresh..barely hot:( But we tolerated it as we didnt want to be chronic complainers. Not to mention the waiter never checked back on us either if we wanted to address the warm fries. But he hovered over me as I signed the check.... I guess as an act of intimidation to secure a tip! Who does that? Ive never had a waiter watch over me as I signed the check. I guess they are popular for desserts and definitely not the food or cocktails. The food , service and cocktails were so bad...no way were we staying for dessert! As a rule I trust reviews and I should have done the same here because the lowest reviews were consistent with our experience!
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!Today was my first time coming here. I had work all day and was very excited to come here for dinner. We were seated at a table outside. The table was wet. We had to ask another worker to wipe our table dry. The hostess literally seated us at a wet table and thought it was okay and ignored it. After that, My friend and I ordered a steak and a grilled salmon at 8:00 pm. Her steak came within 10 minutes while my salmon never arrived. After 30 minutes of waiting, we asked the waiter. He told us today was his first day working and that he never heard us order the salmon. Which was ok so we ordered again. Then it was 9:00 pm and still havnt received my salmon. Nobody came to check up on us. Nobody told us how long it will take. Had to ask several workers about the order. Then our waiter finally came to us and told us 2 more minutes. At this point, I was very fed up and just told the waiter to take it to go. I was freakin starving, waited a whole hour for my order that never came. Honestly, this was just very unprofessional. He didnt even review our order. He didnt check up on us. We also asked the steak to be medium rare, but the steak is a bit hard and overcooked. Honestly, there was just so many things wrong. The ONLY reason why this review wasnt a 1 star was because the waiter voided our entire order. Overall, this was a horrible experience and Im very upset and disappointed. The salmon was also eh. Bland and overcooked and no ketchup. Got a stomachache after too. Might not be coming back. Please improve your service.
June 25th I hosted a bridal shower for my daughter. My expectations were beyond met by this establishment. The food, drinking was and desserts were well seasoned and tasty. Everyone who attended enjoyed everything.we were recieved well and we enjoyed ourselves. (George) made all my request a reality Thank you to Nestor our waiter he was awesome. Thank you oasis cafe.
Customer service needs an overhaul, servers lack training, making waiting time for every step of the dining process a dreadful experience (restaurant was only 40% full). The last straw was waiting for my credit card back after waiting to leave for 30 minutes. Despite the good food, the service left us off with a bad taste (no pun intended)
Oasis Cafe is our favorite place to pick up desserts from. The ambience is always clean, beautiful and lively. They also decorate according to the upcoming holidays/season.They serve desserts ranging from traditional cakes/cheesecakes to pastries like berry napoleon and baklava. They have fruit tarts for those of you who want something sweet while convincing yourself that it’s still relatively healthy because of the fruit topping. The staff are very helpful in making recommendations and answering any questions that we may have had. They make sure that everyone who’s in the store is either being helped or at least acknowledged. This time we got a slice of strawberry cheesecake, Boston Creme cheesecake, fruit tart, and strawberry tres leches. The cheesecake is a bit heavy (as are most cheesecakes), but it isn’t as thick as the ones from Juniors (which in my opinion, taste a bit stale). The cheesecake from Oasis still has a bit of fluffiness to it. I’ve been wanting to try the tiramisu but unfortunately it has alcohol in it, which I cannot consume for religious reasons. It would be great if they had an alternative!I definitely recommend this place, and will always be back to try their delicious dessert items!
I was able to go out for a late brunch with my friend and we were beyond grateful for all the help and guidance for picking the food and drinks. If you are looking to go somewhere to layback either inside or outside, this is the place to go. Food is delicious and they have many varieties of drinks to pick from. Don’tForget their own bakery within the restaurant as well 👌🏼
The service is awful they have a lot of knew faces you would think new experienced servers but by far this was my worst experience the coffee was terrible my food order was wrong and overall attention was not pleasant and when you wish to speak to someone they bring the same person that messed up my order in a different occasion who even manages this place????? disappointedNot in the food or the drinks the dessert are out of this world but in the terrible service lost some loyal customers will not be coming back
Pastries are overpriced but good , I ordered chicken nuggets with fries for my son and we found a roach in our food. I wanted to speak to the manager and he barely gave me the time of the day to speak and was extremely rude about the situation. He tried blaming my kid saying he put the bug in there ! What a joke. I will never ever give this man my business ever again. I highly recommend do not give these money grubbing scums your money.
The desserts here are outstanding and more than reasonably priced 😍😍 Definitely purchasing all future birthday cakes from here. Mr Nicholas was extremely helpful and certainly knows how to do business. Covid considerate sit down was also available if interested. Definitely worth the trip, you wont regret it!
Ordered mousse cakes at 11PM one night cause why not? But I’m all honesty, the desserts were delicious. Got the raspberry chocolate, triple chocolate, black & white, and Oreo mousses and they were all the perfect texture and super decadent. The raspberry mousse is the winner by far, probably the most accurately tasting and proportionate fruit & chocolate mousse I’ve had. The rest were good but could’ve probably gotten one of them since they pretty much all tasted the same. No regrets though!
Been buying cake from here for over 10 years and I still come back. They quality and flavors are amazing. Their dine in is very nice too. This is probably my favorite dessert place ever! Super amazing servers it was my friends birthday and they did sparklers for her. They were very happy to accommodate my request😊
The restaurant is towards the back and very spacious. The dessert prices may look pricey for Queens, but they are huge and delicious! My friends and I enjoyed every single one. Now the reason for 4 stars is because I ordered the crepe and coffee ice cream. They gave me a half of scoop of ice cream and charged $3... It melted pretty quickly.
Went in with a group of 8 and had to wait about 30-40 minutes but the tiramisu was worth it.We also had the flan which was a bit more firm than what I prefer and the sangria which was good. I think out of the three the tiramisu is the must try. The waitress was also really nice so shout out to Vicky for treating us so well!
Was in the mood for baklava and was disappointed it was on the dry side. They have a huge assortment of pastries, some traditional Greek desserts and other varieties. They had a lot of different cheese cakes if you are a fan. They also serve a variety of drinks and food too.
The food and drink there were so delicious! The staff was also very nice! I ordered one of the cheesecakes and loved it! It was sweet but the coffee I ordered along side definitely balanced it out. Also had the chance at trying their nutella crepes and it was delicious! The only reason Im putting 4/5 was because the bathroom... wasnt clean whatsoever.
Have been here a few times and can say this is my favorite local bakery! Prices are reasonable for the quality of the items, and the various cakes and cheesecakes are absolutely delicious. Haven’t tried a pastry I haven’t liked thus far. Favorites include the strawberry tres leches and the tiramisu cheesecake (better then the regular tiramisu in my opinion).
We ordered a red velvet cake from Oasis via gold belly. First of all the cake was amazing. Not super sweet, the frosting was smooth, the cake was moist. Absolutely perfect. Also, the packaging was exquisite. The cake arrived in perfect condition and was absolutely fabulous.
The music is too loud and the pastries suck. I couldn’t have a conversation and I asked them to lower it down and the manager refused. Everyone at the restaurant were trying to talk over the music. It was very upsetting. The cannoli shell was not crispy it was very soft which is not how a cannoli should taste. The cheesecake was okay… not very creamy and the cream puffs were soft and the shell was not flaky. Quite bland… not a fan.
We did our wedding reception at the Oasis. We had met with George about a month prior to the event and George has been absolutely phenomenal since. He is flexible and really tried to provide his best service. Im glad George was involved in our planning and would recommend him to anyone. On the wedding day, small mishaps occurred, but overall, it was a phenomenal experience.
Very racist establishment...if you are of darker complexion spend your money somewhere that is worth it. How are greeks gonna be racist to people smh...that old dinosaur cashier lady needs to quit....she made a smart remark to another co worker about me and they laughed and then tried to act as if nothing happened...they need to close this racist, cheap looking shop down or hire more open minded less racist workers!!!!
I ordered from doordash when I was visiting Queens (Originally a Brooklyn girl so I had to make sure it was good!) and let me tell you I ordered the chocolate fudge cake, the strawberry white tea refresher and a butter crossiant and man I should of brought some back home!!! it was sooooo good especially the drink. Highly recommend. Pricing wasnt terrible but it was truly worth every penny.
I love anything with passion fruit and was really sad to see my local bakery Sweet Lady Jane in LA no longer makes passion fruit birthday cake …so was so excited to learn my brother and sister in law had tracked Down Oasis Cafe and had ordered me their passion fruit cake …he had placed it from South Carolina to be shipped next day air saver to arrive on Saturday 18th Feb .When it still had not shown up on Tuesday 22nd February he tracked it and was alarmed to see a label had been generated but no tracking of packages was found ..finally today after many attempts he finallylearnt they had taken his money generated a label but failed to ship the product …dealing with the Oasis Cafe was totally unproductive so after 4 attempts he finally asked for a refund …if you are not capable of expediting a shipment Do Not Offer it as an option ….I’m left with no birthday cake and extremely disappointed ..certainly would not recommend dealing with this company ….unless perhaps in the actual location
2018.12 dessert on counter doesnt have name, easy to guess what is in there but hard to call what they are.....many dessert place hv the same common error. they have inside and outside,.... A bit below avg service. Average dessert and coffee......to me it is a little disappointed
The cafe has great selection of various delicious ethnic deserts for take out. Especially impressive are different varieties of baklava, truly the best ones in New York city! I have been buying it for more than 20 years. The prices are on expensive side but the taste is well worth every dollar you spend. My family always looks forward to getting the box of baklava for special occasions
We held my sisters graduation party at Oasis and we were very impressed with their service and food quality. We had a great experience overall. I would highly suggest Oasis as a venue for a small party. The staff was excellent. They were very courteous, attentive, and professional.
Never Never Never i will go to this store, as a. good customer they lost my business. i been to this place for long time everytime they. missed up with my order and this time i. order cake and coffee and there was a skinny lady i asked her about an item and i told her what is inside she with a very bad attitude and bad english accent and i told her its apply pie she said yes and it wasnt apple it was. sausage and i told her i dont eat meat. so she give me that and when i opened the box it had sausage i went back to her to exchange it, she refuse to change it and i told her i didnt ate it its all the same she said we cant if you want you can buy something else and she was saying i told you it had hot dog inside. i told her i cant eat meat and intold you that she was saying no you didnt tell me and she charged me again for the other item. and she said this is how we make business. i wont recommend family and friends to go there. and at the end she took back the item that i already paid for it i mean the hotdoge sausage and dont know she put in the garbege or place it back in for sell. that was my bad experience for today..
My boyfriend and I came here on a whim on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. We requested to sit indoors and the hostess led us inside and sat us. The room was empty aside from two men who appeared to work there, one was screaming on the phone at somebody. They eventually left and we waited around for about 15 minutes before someone came to give us waters. Still no server at this point to even take our drink orders. We waited another 15 minutes or so until a woman came and took the drink order. After another 10 minutes went by, we decided to get up and leave. I knew the second we were sat in that room that we’d be forgotten about and I was right. We were in view of another indoor dining room that had a few tables occupied, and we were also visible from the outdoor patio. Ridiculous how long it took us to be acknowledged. I understand it could have been a busy day but the communication was obviously lacking. Almost a full hour wasted and we knew if we stayed, the rest of the meal would have dragged out too. Would have liked to try some stuff on the menu but we won’t be returning. We walked to the diner down the block and had a great meal there. As I read the other reviews, I see others who have had similar experiences. Guess this wasn’t an isolated incident.
The outdoor experience is amazing (which is also a smoking area), mostly a dessert and drinks place which are delicious but the few choices of meals they have are equally delicious as well. Afternoon time is not busy at all, nights are full but is at most 10-15 minute wait. One of my favorite places to dine.
The variety is so damn impressive at oasiscafenyc 👏! Here we had two delicious sandwiches ( The 718 and The Chicken Club ) We like to split the two and switch our half’s to share 😊 and The dessert is so pretty I’ll be making it its own post🥰They have a Cafe in the front and goes into luxury in the back as you can see in the video -swipe right🙂They also have a lovely outdoor area for the spring! The fact that this place is so close to my home🙌 Hyped! I am also drinking the classic Pina Colada to start. I can confirm every drink I had was delicious as well 🤤
One of my favorite places to have a nice sit-down meal in Queens. Always is located right on Northern Boulevard, so parking can be a little tough (I usually do the side streets and walk a bit), but it is certainly worth it for the high quality food and desserts that you get here. In terms of food, theres actually a entire sit-down restaurant as well as a outdoor private patio with seating if you choose to dine in. They have a brunch that I have tried, and many of their food options are fresh, high-quality, and relatively cheap. The other major Allure of this place is the dessert shop, which is actually in the storefront. They have a pretty good selection of cheesecake, and other really nice baked goods. I personally think its better than Marthas, and its less hectic because while the place is amazing, the store does a really good job of keeping the line to a minimum. All in all, I highly recommend the spot for it being a One-Stop type of date location, or if youre just in the mood for something sweet or if youd like to have a drink or a pitcher of Sangria with some friends in a beautiful patio. Either way, it has something for everyone!
Birthday brunch. Food was great, service left alot to he desired. 2+ hours for 6 people meals from start to finish. It was not crowded at most was 5 tables in the whole place. Great outdoor sitting, no parking. 2 spaces in front of the restaurant that appeared to be for VIP. It was evident to the manager/owner of the delay and lack of service, though we never complained to him, he gave deserts. A bad taste left when 18% was tacted on for gratuity. Being the business I always give 20% or above. The food was awesome and outside sitting is great. Try it!
Loved the romantic gangsta vibe...the salad was OK my baked potato was a little dried out lobster was a bit over cooked but service was great loved our waiter with the handle bar mustache...I know I had on a Boston shirt but I Love NY...saying thanks for a great experience first time in NY all the from Austin TX 😋
Although the ambiance was pretty nice. The food itself was bland and not that tasty. Fries were loaded with Cajun seasoning but there was no kick or taste. Spinach pies were bland and took at least 45 minutes to get out. I do not think I will be visiting this place again.
I buy whole cakes here for every occasion and sometimes just slices when I have a sweet tooth. I have tried the majority of their cakes and I havent had one that I didnt love yet. Everyone that have tasted their cakes or pastries that I bring over love them. Their pick up and delivery options are convenient and their website is very easy to use.
Not a pleasant experience. The service and food was not good today. We ordered chicken souvlaki, burger, shrimp tacos and steak sandwich.Everything was dried out. Table was dirty and no one cleaned it. No one cleared our appetizer or plates before our entrees arrived. So the servers basically piled plates on top of dirty plates until we asked them to remove the plates. Our server never showed up after our food was served. We had to ask the hostess to find him so we can pay the bill. Maybe it was an off day. But, please improve service and food. This is a beautiful location.
Oasis is not friendly when it comes to black Americans. One of the cashiers stole my points argued with me and then tries to offer something for free which I declined because I purchased other sweets (should have left everything). There has also been numerous times my husband and I have been harassed because they serve underage a-holes who feel they are invicible when I happen to pass. I have video and recorded the complaint when I spoke to the manager which I let him know that I am aware they are seeing underage children and they are causing problems outside the establishment, his response was laughter, oh really!!!! 🤔 I stopped coming here only after my second time. I dont appreciate their business at all.
They have an average selection of food, however to say the dood is average is a huge disservice to the quality of their food and their desserts. The environment of this cafe is simple and feels like an elegant experience that merits visits. I have not been disappointed by their selection of desserts and I do hope that this does not change in the near future as I would love to be able to continuously try more meals from here
Waiters and waitresses deserve 5 stars. They are excellent, always kind and fast with the food delivery. However, the two ladies at the front the hostesses are rude, no customer service skills at all. They cant even say hi, they ask you in a very rude way how many?!. They told me to wait and they added me to the waitlist. After 30min waiting I received a text message saying my table was ready. So, we went it and one of them told me again to wait saying that her boss gave my table to other people. We again had to wait patiently. Me and my friends saw how a table was unoccupied and we thought that was the table they were gonna give us. BUT NO, in our face they sat 3 other people. We started complaining, one of the ladies said those 3 people were waiting before us which didnt make any sense since I received the text message 5 min ago. Place is awesome but the hostesses are horrible. You cant even ask them a question or say anything because they give u the evil eye and start being rude.
Sat outside waiting for our waiter/waitress to come over at least to ask us if we needed menus. The only service we received was water to our table. The one waitress kept looking at our table while she was on her cell phone. The other waiter pointed at us to show her we were there. She stood up, went around the chair she was in and sat down again. I guess I should say thanks for the water. Very disappointed. I guess we have to go at night when the staff wants to work
Cakes were good but the customer service was terrible, the employees looked over worked or uninterested to work. When I went, one employee was on her cellphone talking, one was taking care of online orders and a tall mid age lady was filling up the refrigerator. I had to wait for her to finish up filling the refrigerator to place my order. She could careless about customers of color and her whole attitude was nasty. Not coming back unfortunately.
Everytime I order, Oasis never disappoints. From their entrées to their desserts is an awesome experience. I would recommend their Mixed Green Salad with their homemade Honey Lemon dressing with Salmon. The Strawberry White Tea Lemonade is refreshing and the Baklava Cheese Cake is rich and decadent. Whatever you get from their menu, youll be glad you did.
Oasis Cafe is fantastic. I went with 2 groups of friends on friday nights and me and my friends had a great time. Average amount of selection for food but the deserts and coffee is what they are known for! Prices were fair . Your crazy if you go to oasis and dont order the desert. Alcohol is expensive as expected and the atmosphere is really well put together. Very flexible hours. The whole vibe of the place is great for all ages. If you like it active and lively come past 8pm on weekends. We will be back in the future!
I went out for a late night bite (Oasis stays open late which is great!). We had to wait for a table, it took about 15, but we wanted to sit near the back which provides a better atmosphere than some seating in the front. Our waiter was quick, helpful, and nice. I got a Chai Latte which was sweet, foamy, gingery, and could’ve used a bit more cinnamon. We got a cheesecake and a bread pudding, both of which were fresh tasting and rich. We topped off the night with espressos which were too bitter and acidity, but served their purpose and definitely weren’t terrible.
DONT GO IF YOU ARE NEW. THEY ARE MONEY HUNGRY PEOPLE. THEY WILL JUDGE YOU IF YOU ARE NEW AND WILL OVER CHARGE YOU IF YOU GO THERE ALONE. THEY DONT HAVE PRICES ON THERE MENU AND WILL USE THAT TO THEIR ADVANTAGE TO OVER CHARGE YOU. THEY CHARGED ME $7 FOR A SMALL MILKSHAKE.
Please sell fresh cake slices. I had a custom tres leche cake in a party made by you but when i ate it dint taste as good.Update: my sister bought me a cake and it was stale. Stop selling old cakes. I called for two days and cudnt speak with manager as he was never there
I was invited to join some friends here for coffee and pastries. Its always been underwhelming and disorganized, and Ive known this place for close to 30 years, but I was meeting friends here, so I just went with the flow of the evening.Over the years theyve added.more items to the menu, and tried to give it a more modern feel. It doesnt succeed. Wait staff is slow and disorganized. We ordered pastries and coffee for 4 people, and the pastries came first, and a good 15 minutes later the coffee arrived. Bring it all together at once - not a complicated thing to do. Pastries were ok - and certainly nothing worth noting. Cappuccino was also ok, but tasted too strong and acid aftertaste-more than usual.Outdoor seating area is well maintained, and good spacing between tables. They also have a wall installation which is a wall of green grass with a bright neon sign that says PARADISE FOUND. The only thing that does is draw in the selfie addicted people who stand there for quite some time taking photos. Thats very distracting and certainly doesnt add to the ambiance. It makes it feel like youre watching a selfie photo shoot.2 stars at best.
Wow! The atmosphere of their indoor and outdoor dining garden towards the back, nice and classy. Then theres the actual indoor space to purchase the many bakery items and tables to sit at separate from the rest of the complex. I believe on the weekend before they close at midnight, theres DJ music playing there. I ended up bouncing to the kool beats while downing the oreo caramel mousse and mocha drink....go figure! But check the menu and prices before you go to get a heads start.
The most delicious desserts youll ever have in your life. The cheese cake is literally to die for, every single thing is amazing. Like you can try any dessert there and it ALWAYS takes your tastebuds to heaven. Id give alot more than 5 stars if possible. No joke people, you cant get tastier than this place.
Really tried to like this place but it lacks in every single aspect. No one is taking covid precautions. The waiters have the masks under their nose, patrons waiting to be seated aren’t socially distanced and the tables are way closer together. We came at 10:45 and we’re told the wait was 20 minutes. We got seated at 12 and we were STARVING. It took the waiter another 15 minutes to come take our order only to be told the kitchen closed at 12.We ended up ordering desserts and they were just underwhelming. Their crepes are too chewy and thick. The cakes sucked too.Super disappointed. Never again
Great food. I order on Ubereats and nothing goes wrong. I always get the chicken club and I feel its reasonably priced given the avocado and bacon on it. The chicken is never dry or tough to eat. The chipotle sauce is the only downside. Its so subtle and desperately in need of flavor! I had to add buffalo sauce just for something. Whatever they do to the fries is amazing. The only fries Ive ever tasted thats just as good reheated, THE NEXT DAY. Dont judge, this is the only place I reheat fries for. Coffee and some of the desserts are great too. Shame this place is quite far without a car, Id go personally to pick up instead of paying these order fees.
The cakes are really pretty but they arent very good. The cheesecake I tried was the fruity pebbles and the Dulce de leche-- both were not very dense or firm. I guess Juniors has me with too high of expectations. However, the delivery was quick and the food came packaged well. The fruity pebbles were not crispy though-- they were very chewy.
My friend and I decided to come here after I saw the ad on Instagram. I was stunned by the outdoor space they have in the back as well as the desserts and drinks. The desserts looked JUST LIKE the advertisement which makes it even more appetizing/enticing because foods don’t usually look like the photos that were taken of them! I had an Oreo cheesecake for the first time and it was phenomenal. My friend had baklava and took some cheesecake and rainbow cookies home for her family. We both loved our desserts. I’d definitely come back here again! I’ve got my eye on the matcha drink ;)
Ive been coming here for years! Love the chocolate mouse mouse and the kourabiedes cookies. I loved going there after bars late night for espresso and cake in the past! What a nice family! What yummy baked good. The prices have been great through the years as well! I dont live close by anymore but I always pay them a visit when Im around!
Waiter brought the dessert immediately, but the hot beverage came 15 minutes later after 2 prompts to the waiter. The hot beverage was room temperature(probably sitting on the counter for a while). It seemed like the people behind us were complaining about their order. The dessert(Galactobouriko) was good.
Amazing selection of cakes and pastries! In love with this place, it is far better than Martha’s in my opinion. The “raspberry mousse” is delicious and an all time favorite, I’m in love with their cheesecakes done well and they do a really good job with it. Everything I’ve tried here tastes amazing
Overall experience was amazing. That bartender really knew how to make drinks. Guy is a really top notch. The food was great and the service was excellent. A good place to eat with a revamped and modern menu, great choices and can always appreciate the genuine Greek options.
Food was ok..just ok..bus boy did his job..wish i could have tipped him alone..because our waitress ghosted or table like we owed her money..her attitude was bad. She sucked as a waitress. I asked the hostess on the way out..was she new...an best believe she wasnt. I think they need to rethink her job.
I found this gem in Uber eats when my other fav bakery wasnt open and Im very happy I did. Its been added to my favorites list....I havent had anything that wasnt delicious, rich in Flavor and well worth the calories. Lol. One day I hope to go in person to experience that atmosphere but if youre looking for a sweet treat definitely should be your go to place.
They treated my English deprived companion with respect and patience which for people originally from the same continent as them is not always the case, especially in the past year or so. A lavish assortment of cakes and pastries, all looking very rich indeed. I peeked through to the rear of the establishment and it appeared to have ample seating. As I am still a bit deficient in psychological fortitude I kept my distance. Deprived hmmm maybe challenged hmmm maybe it was me who was deprived or lacking as my companion used American Express but I had enough cash to cover what was reasonable compensation for their delightful product. Hmmm...
They have some good desert there but the customer service is horrible I went there a total of 3 times 2 times I picked up an order for Uber and the other time I went for myself and all the times I went there was bad the women in there that worked there are very pretty but RUDE!!!! I will go to Martha’s bakery next time I will never come back to oasis cafe.
Really delicious and fresh cakes....the OREO MOUSSE CAKE IS TO DIE FOR!!! BUT....The red velvet I would never order again because the ratio is off. It was thick layers of cream cheese frosting and only 3 thin layers of red velvet cake. I was very disappointed because I usually enjoy red velvet cakes from bakeries... I ate only the thin layers of cake and had to dump the rest. It was literally 80% frosting and 20% cake. I wish they would change that, I didnt enjoy that AT ALL!
Would rate 4 for their desserts but 3 because of the services.I came because that I had their food delivered another day and some items were good. But I had an uncomfortable experience. Servers had different dine-in rules. They didn’t communicate so I was swinging between them wasting time. The cake I had today was ok. At least their serve big slices.
One of my favorite cafes/restaurants/bakeries to go to in Flushing, especially during the summer time when its nice out. Ive been here plenty of times and the food never disappointed me. I had a few times where the waiter/waitress wasnt that good, but a majority of the time, they were good. They also renovated the inside recently and it looks really nice.

2022-03-14Such a beautiful venue for small or big events! We used the private space upstairs which allowed natural sunlight for beautiful pictures. The staff were accommodating. George helped me plan the event, made good suggestions and was graciously accommodating to changes. I provided the flowers and leaves and left it up to them to decorate according to a picture I sent. The cake was delicious and beautiful! We threw a bridal shower and the bride was blown away by the generous service that was provided. George, the manager, served us himself. The food was so delicious and the drinks were amazing. Thank you for a successful event. I highly recommend working with George for future events. The place is great for it or for a date night.

2022-04-23If only the service here were as sweet as their cakes. There were two ladies behind the counter that had their noses in the air and their demeanor was very unwelcoming. Its amazing how long it took to get their attention when the shop wasnt busy and they were just standing idly. Even then, we were met with a blank stare and a deadpan expression. On the opposite end are the cakes. The strawberry cheesecake was overly sweet and the strawberry sauce on top was too thick and gelatinous with a syrupy taste. The fruit napoleon cake used to be my favorite. Although it was still delicious, the quality was not as good as it was in the past. Less berries in the filling meant there was nothing to detract from the cloying sweetness of the cream. Besides the lack of berries, firm crisp layers were missing. It went stale within two days when it used to keep for at least a week. This tells me it was either sitting in the display case for a stretch or fresh ingredients were not used. Ive also tried their seven layer chocolate cake before and I can attest that it was excessively sweet as well to the point where eating a slice filled my chocolate quota for a year. All in all, I think Ill stick to French Workshop or Marthas Country Bakery where the people are more amiable and the cakes are less saccharine.

2022-04-20If you grow up in Queens you know Oasis cafe. This is the only cafe that’s always open til late. It’s been a century since I last time visit this place, me and my friends are surprised to find they renovated and look so upscale! Definitely a nice place to eat and hangout with your love ones. The tiramisu was too sweet for me and the crepes weren’t that great either… I had the white chocolate mocha…didn’t taste like anything. 5 star for opening up til late and decor. I would come here next time for the bar!

2022-06-29I was just there for a work event I cant think of a more perfect place or venue. The outdoor seating is so ample and spacious and so beautifully decorated. The staff were polite and friendly and helped us plan the event so smoothly. Food and drinks were delicious and had a great price. I cant wait to go back for a lunch or dinner multiple times this summer. Oasis is a perfect name because this feels like an oasis from the city. They have a beautiful atmosphere great food and nice stuff, what more could you ask for.

2022-01-15Oasis has delicious pastries/desserts that are baked to perfection. Many of the desserts I’ve tried were very good and all fairly priced. Whole cakes vary in price however you can get some for around $35. Out of all that I’ve tried, the nutella and the strawberry tres leche are the best, you won’t be disappointed! Great desserts for great prices that’ll satisfy that sweet tooth!
