I saw Dr Annie Liu as a new patient there, and I couldnt have been more pleased with my experience. Dr Liu is a very gentle doctor, explaining every single move she is making, who is very attentive and kind. I was actually shocked by the thoroughness of the exam, and that I didnt feel rushed at any time. The reception staff and the nurse were all very pleasant as well. I highly recommend Dr Liu and this practice.
My appointment with Dr. Chen was great. She takes her time, listens and manages impeccably. Highly recommend.
This is an amazing practice. I love the physicians. Dr. Kim call when lab values are ready and she takes time to explain and speak with you. Dr. Chen is an amazing listener. I had some really uncertain and scary news during my pregnancy and she listened and comforted me I am so grateful to her. Dr. Liu is amazing and explains everything. Dr. Morgan makes you feel comfortable and she is honest. I have been seeing Dr Morgan for about 3 years and I recommend her to anyone who is looking for a OB/GYN. She does not rush you or dismiss your concerns. She is knowledgeable and I trust her. I wish I would have found her sooner! The office staff is friendly and efficient. I always get good service overall.
I have been a patient there for nearly 15 years. Dr. Morgan is a wonderful doctor and when I had a baby I got to experience the other doctors who were all so great as well. I cant recommend this practice enough. In fact I already sent several friends there who feel the same way.
Dr. Morgan is very friendly and knowledgeable. Love seeing her for annual visits. She is very easy to talk to and makes me feel comfortable.
Dr Kim is the best. She makes you feel comfortable and listens to all your concerns. She doesn’t rush and takes her time explaining and answering any of your questions.
OBGYN Westside is a great practice - I have been going to them for over 25 years. Dr. Chen is truly the most amazing doctor. She is always punctual, apologizes if she is even a couple of minutes late, does a thorough exam, has terrific bedside manners, and takes the time to answer all my questions. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer a few years ago, she took it upon herself to figure out alternative safe contraceptives for me. I am delighted to say that my daughter is now her patient as well.
I was seen quickly in a very clean and professional office. Dr. Liu was senstive and respectful. She answered my questions and gave me recommendations. I was so pleased with this visit. It was the easiest way to take care of my self, the best appointment I have had. Highly recommend!

Dr.Justine Kim is an excellent OBYGN specialist. She is very patient, courteous and genuinely interested in me as a patient. She answers all questions in a timely manner. Her medical advice is very good and easy to follow. I appreciated the fact that in one my urgencies, she immediately called me back and resolved the issue. I love the fact that she is very tech savvy and answers questions on MY CHART app with super speed. I feel very confident and safe when I am with Dr. Kim. SHE IS AMAZING !!!!
I think my experience was unique, so I don’t want to write a bad review, but I did have a difficult time at this office. They wrote my weight down wrong, scheduled me for multiple unnecessary tests and appointments that were difficult to schedule and then cancel when I found out they weren’t medically necessary. They also seemed a little disorganized in a few other minor ways. That said, the doctors are very nice and the office is lovely.
Highly recommend Dr.Chen and her practice. She is thorough, has a great bedside manner and very informative. I’ve never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision. She stayed in the exam room and answered all my questions. I’ve now moved out of the city but drive in annually for my check up. Can’t a say that about the rest of my providers

This doctor’s office was highly recommended to me by a manager of mine. So far, I have to say it’s going pretty good. At first I didn’t like the potential switch of doctors each visit. You get comfortable and cozy with one doctor especially with something as intimate as the monitoring of your pregnancy. However, so far it’s been pleasurable. They keep in touch via email, and if you call the ladies at the front desk are VERY pleasant and nice! I would recommend!
Dr. Morgan has been my OB/GYN for over 10 yrs and she has always been pleasant and caring. There is no way she can improve on her bedside manner because it’s 100% perfect. The office is clean and modern and the staff is wonderful. In all the years I visited this office I have never waited a minute over my appointment time. If you are looking for an OB/GYN that cares about you…look no further.
Excellent care from Dr. Morgan, who is as warm and kind as she is well-informed and professional. I am a very happy patient at OBGYN Westside and highly recommend the practice. I also deeply appreciate how quickly they were able to connect me to the top breast surgeon at Mt. Sinai when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. This practice goes above and beyond in their approach to care.
Dr Chen was extremely personable and friendly. She was very knowledgeable and calm which made me feel like I was in the best possible hands for my first pregnancy. The staff in total were all very pleasant and professional. The office was very clean and my overall experience exceeded my expectations. I live all the way downtown but I will gladly continue to make the trip uptown throughout my pregnancy because my experience was definitely worth it!

The office was easy to locate with a great atmosphere. I felt safe and care for. I have anxiety about going to the OBGYN. Justine Kim was patient and caring. She made me feel at ease and totally comfortable. This was the best experience at the OBGYN that I have ever had. I no longer feel like going to the OBGYN will be a chore that avoid for 5 years.

I have been a patient at OB/Gyn Westside for about 5 years and have always had a good experience. The staff and nurses are friendly and helpful. My visit with Dr Chen was great. She was right on time and has a great bedside manner. She addressed my reason for coming in and gave me some options as to how to proceed without judgement and with enough information that I could make an informed decision. I also had a quick, painless and bruise-less blood draw.
Dr. Kim is amazing, she is objective and informative. She answered all my questions and didnt dismiss concerns I had. I am only giving 4 stars because at my last visit I went to Dr. Kahan instead (at the same practice) and I felt she was very judgmental and kept trying to make me second-guess my decision making. Would not ever see her again, but Dr. Kim and all the other doctors Ive seen there who have now moved on were fantastic, nurses as well.

I usually have severe anxiety about the OBGYN. In fact, I ignored my symptoms for a year because I had such a negative experience in NYC before.But then I found OBGYN Westside! Dr. Kim made me feel so comfortable, and I am so grateful to have found her!Dr. Kim answered all my questions (and I had a lot of questions), listened to my concerns, legitimatized my concerns, and addressed everything. She was thorough in my exam, and she taught me about things I can do at home for my health. She is not a doctor who leaves these conversations for the nurses (though the nurses there are awesome as well!), she makes sure you are cared for and have everything answered before you leave.Thank you Dr. Kim for making me comfortable and safe during my exam! Youre awesome and I wont be going anywhere else for my feminine health!

All the doctors I’ve met at Westside OB/GYN are wonderful. They are pleasant, compassionate and very thorough. They discuss options with patients and explain medical issues in terms patients can easily understand.
I absolutely love OBGYN Westside! One of the few, if not the only office where all five doctors are females. Everyone is warm, loving, and, most importantly, great at what they do. They delivered our first baby and it was a wonderful experience. Even though we recently moved to NJ, the drive is well worth it knowing you (and potentially your baby) will be taken care of.
Dr. Kim was great. I was seen on time, she was friendly and knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable to ask any questions I had. I am really happy I saw her, initially I was hoping to see a different doctor but in the future I will definitely be requesting an appointment with Dr. Kim.
Dr Morgan is amongst the best GYN Doctors Ive dealt with. It is unfortunate that I can not get my insurer (UHC) to include her in the list of network doctors. I paid out of pocket. I would not see anyone else, She is fantastic
Ive been Dr. Michelle Morgans patient for many years now & have always received great care. The office is taking all of the necessary precautions right now during the pandemic- everyone is masked, gloves & wearing PPE. I believe they are seeing fewer patients so that there isnt a full waiting room. When I arrived & waited, there were no other patients in the waiting room. Great practice that treats you like the individual you are.
I had a great experience with Dr. Barbieri. Especially considering it was my first appointment in a new city, with a new doctor! Shes personable and very practical. It was a fast exam for the not fun portion of the visit, but I really felt she listened to my history and few issues I had to consult with her. The team in general was great. Thank you!!
Dr. Anna Barbieri was my OBGYN doctor many years ago when I lived in the city and I loved her then but it was too far to travel from Long Island while I lived there. Since I moved back into the city about 3 years ago I have gone back to see her on several occasions. She is amazing and thorough and totally makes you feel comfortable even when having the not so comfortable procedures done. She has amazing bedside manner and i feel like i can talk to her about anything. She calls me directly to discuss results and always responds when I leave a message at the office. I highly recommend her as a doctor. The office staff are also great!

I was very please with the waiting room time. The professionalism of the nurses and staff was outstanding. Dr Kahan was excellent very personable and I felt comfortable talking with her. Dr S Corbett was the best in NYC but now it’s Dr. Kahan.
This practice has been wonderful. All of the doctors are caring and follow up when they say they will. I went through a miscarriage and felt so supported with their doctors and practice. The front desk staff and nurses are also very friendly and easy to work with. Highly recommend!
Dr. K was very attentive and gentle. The gyn is never the most pleasant experience but she made me feel as comfortable as possible.

I’ve been a Patient at OB/GYN Westside for almost 20 years. Dr. Chen and Dr. Morgan are amazing doctors. They are kind, patient and always willing to listen to any concerns I might have. They’ve delivered both my children. I couldn’t be happier with the care I have received from them through all these years.
I was recommended to this Practice by a friend. Sadly they were unable to live up to her experience, and I left the office saddened and upset by the dismissive nature of the office staff, the aggressive way in which the office manager approached the problem I had, and the apparent lack of compassion that went along with keeping me there for 45 minutes to be told that Dr Kim was no longer available to see me. I hope no one has to go through this. I was there to get help, and left in a much worst state.
It was my first time and Dr Chen took her time to talk to me and understand my history. She was very good at answering my questions and coming up with a plan of treatment for my issue. Overall a great experience!
Dr. Morgan is just the best- Ill go to her as long as Im in NY! Shes patient, present, warm, and clearly knows her stuff. I hadnt been to see her in 4 years and she remembered me and made me feel welcomed back. She didnt make me feel judged for my life choices and discussed my options for birth control based on where I am in my life. The *only* negative part of my visit was the nurse who was less than focused. Twice in 30 seconds she asked for the reason of my visit and then when I stepped on the scale and asked her to not tell me the number, she immediately said it out loud. Though she apologized, it was too late- as someone whos barely out of the grip of an eating disorder, having that information is dangerous and triggering. Ill still go back to Dr. Morgan but just somehow be even more clear with the nurse about my needs.
A visit to the gynecologist always has the potential to be slightly torturous, but Dr Chen has a fantastic bedside manner and manages to make the visit a breeze. Highly recommend!

I have been a patient of Dr. Chang Lynn Chen at OBGYN Westside for more than 20 years. Dr. Chen is a delightful, respectful, and an extremley knowledgeable professional physian I accually enjoy visiting because she always takes the time to listen to my concerns, and is clear, thoughtful, and most importantly, honest with her responces. Dr. Chens friendly staff do their best to make my visit a positive one. Ive never had to wait more than 10 minutes to be seen. Its to bad the rating star chart above my review only offers the option to click on 5 stars because Dr. Chen, her staff, and fellow physians at OBGYN Westside deserve a 10 star rating!!!!!
I chose this practice because I had two positive experiences with doctors there in the last three years, both of whom have moved on. My experience with Dr. Russman was just the opposite. I drove over an hour in order to come to a woman-centered office, only to be basically ignored, condescended to, and spoken to rudely while all she did is fill out a form. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be treated in such a way by an office that purports to be especially attentive to womens needs. The receptionist was also rude. Clearly, this place has gone way downhill, and I will not return.
As an older woman, I really appreciate Dr. Kims knowledge of post-menopausal issues in women. Dr. Kim was careful, thorough, empathic and knowledgeable.
Dr. Chen has incredible bedside manner and takes the time to listen and understand patient concerns, to provide the best possible recommendation and care.

Ive been coming to see Dr. Morgan for years, and Ive never had a bad experience, but I was SO IMPRESSED with their COVID measures! I walked in 10 minutes early, I was the only patient there, was ushered right back to the exam room, and was seen right away. I actually was on my way home within 15 minutes from the time I walked in. Great job!
I Love Dr Morgan, she has been my doctor for years. She always takes the time to ask how I am doing, actually cares about her patients while being extremely professional and knowledgeable.
At first glance, based on reviews, I was excited to choose these providers to be a part of my first pregnancy. It was never an enjoyable experience from the start. First, they have a policy where they want you to rotate through all of their doctors. I started my pregnancy off in the ER with a sub chorionic hematoma which caused bleeding and complications and at each follow up not one provider looked into my history to check up on the hematoma. With each doctor I had to ask them to check the hematoma, a complication that could have caused problems if not properly followed up on. With each new provider it felt like I was visiting a brand new office. None of these providers looked into my history before seeing me for the first time. The office is never proactive on calling you regarding your test results. You have to call in multiple times just to see if everything was normal. They talked my husband into genetic testing because I was a positive carrier for a rare disease and then they never followed up on the results. You basically have to run your own care and constantly follow up with questions. At 35 weeks and 4 days I switched my birthing plan and left this practice due to not feeling comfortable with any of these providers delivering my baby. After many virtual appointments and not seeing my baby or being monitored for months I was instructed to go into the office for a positioning check. I was left in the room for 1.5 hours with zero check in to let me know what was happening. It was my first time to see Dr. Kahan and when she finally came in she said, “Sorry, I had an emergency any questions?” I was baffled that I had waited so long and there was zero concern for the baby so late in my pregnancy. I said I was instructed to come in for a positioning ultrasound which she refused to do because I wasn’t exactly 36 weeks (3 days short of), so I wasted my time coming into the office. Then I had to ask her what should I expect the last four weeks? I thought providers were there to help you through your journey especially being the first baby. How about you tell me what the next steps are? Then I asked her about Mount Sinai’s Covid policy and she proceeds to tell me I could be sharing a room with another patient and that if that was the case my husband would be instructed to leave for the night while I spent the night alone with my newborn baby and a stranger. That was the final straw for me. How does a hospital system go from forcing women to give birth alone in a pandemic and then require them to have roommates when we are from from out of this pandemic? Talk about a miserable experience both ways. I just saw my new physician and was treated with so much care and compassion and feel so much better about delivering my first child under his care. He walked me through every single step and ensured I was comfortable. I will have a private room and my husband will get to be by my side every step of the way. Being a patient at OBGYN Westside was a nightmare. My last appointment I went home in tears and with so much anxiety. I called to complain to Dr. Chen. She basically had zero compassion and said, “Well I’m sorry you feel that way.” It was the most condescending conversation I’ve ever had with a provider and I’m in the medical field. How do you treat any patient this way? I would avoid this round robin practice if you want compassion and someone to care about your medical journey from start to finish. Otherwise, you will be living on google and What to Expect When Expecting just to get guidance and direction.
I have been going to OBGYN Westside for five years. Dr. Morgan expertly delivered my first child through a challenging birth experience and saw me through my first pregnancy and post-partum journey. The specialized care, attentiveness, professionalism, state of the art practices, and feeling like all of the doctors in the practice truly care and take into account one’s personal needs and situation (you are not treated as a “number” or “patient x”) makes this practice stand out from other OBs and other doctor’s offices, in general, in the NYC area. I highly recommend this practice for routine gynecological procedures and prenatal and post-partum care. I am returning to this practice now for my second pregnancy and wouldn’t have it any other way!
Am fortunate to get friend’s recommendation for this practice that is actually in my neighborhood on the UWS. but that’s not why I appreciate ONGYN Westside. Dr. Meryl Kahan has a gentle , friendly and compassionate manner. and she listens . One day I had deadline with health insurance and kept calling the practice ( at least four times ). The staff patiently put up with me.- frazzled from being on hold with pharmacy and United Health Care over and over again. I was very surprised that they never got bugged with me and came through with the script in time. Called next day to thank them all.

5 stars for Dr Morgan! But dropping a star for the office communication: on a previous early morning visit I came to the office only to be to told that the Doctor had had to cancel her day with patients. No one had informed me although they kept insisting that they had. There were other (furious and annoyed) patients in the waiting room with the same problem -no-one had told them that the Doctor wasnt there. A million texts to confirm that I would come - none to tell me that they canceled. No one apologized.
All of the doctors here are amazing and know their stuff. Also great bedside manners. Delivered three babies for me and saw me in between for checkups and other things. Love them.

Dr. Averbach was thorough, thoughtful, and warm when she explained how a gynecological exam works to my teen daughter. Excellent care and support.
I called to book an appointment and the receptionist was not friendly at all, she was talking to me with attitude and I was telling her I would like to see a doctor and she said that if you are not a previous patient we won’t accept to book you until later in your pregnancy. She was rude and I would never call again.

2022-07-22Dr. Kahan is calm and competent. She answered each of my questions patiently. The medical support team treated patients with care and dignity. They took extra time and did extra work to adjust my prescription for my convenience. Despite that the practice is popular and patients are back to back, I felt fully cared for by every person I interacted with. Over all, the office and practice are whatever I would want from a womens health medical practice.

2022-06-07Dr. Santoyo is warm, knowledgeable, thorough and takes her time with her patients. The office is clean, takes safety precautions, has helpful front office staff and I waited for less than 5 minutes to be seen. Highly recommend if you are looking for a compassionate and sharp GYN!

2022-07-28Dr. Chen is the absolute best! She delivered my two kids several years ago and has been my gyn since. She is smart, personable, knowledgeable, and frankly, just a great person to speak with about anything. She would never make a person feel uncomforable, and she answers any and all questions. I highly recommend Dr. Chen and the practice.

2022-09-01Although Dr. Kahan helped me schedule my c-section with Dr. Liu, my first intake doctor of the practice and the doctor I saw the most, all of the doctors seemed very knowledgable, competent, and caring -- for the most part. However, I wanted to take this opportunity to speak about Dr. Liu, whom I was sad to hear was leaving the practice. From the very start, she went above and beyond to answer all my many questions and explain things thoroughly, patiently, and with a lot of empathy and care especially for a first time, high risk mom with a lot of nerves -- rare trait in highly competent doctors. I automatically felt a trusting connection with Dr. Liu and hoped she could deliver my baby from the very start. That is what ended up happening. All the way to the end, through the surgery and with all the consistent daily follow ups following the c-section, Dr. Liu didnt cut corners and really gave me the utmost care to make me feel like a woman who was deserved of dignity. I highly recommend Dr. Liu as an OBGYN and also recommend the practice especially for women who want special care from other female doctors. Almost all the doctors here take the time to answer all your questions and make you feel like a heard patient who is deserved of the (also high risk) care you request. Thank you, OBGYN Westside.
